1270 Frapin for women and men of Frapin

Share:

Description

1270 is the year when the Frapin family founded their brand (as said nowadays, they became famous for wine and grapes for wine, later they started their distillery) in the Cogniac region in France and production of cogniac continued till today. Grat-granddughter to Pierre Frapin, Beatrice Cointreau, created a precious fragrance which touches aromas of cogniac basements and the whole environment, nature.

The perfume is created of dried orange, hazelnut, resins, dried plums, cocoa, tonka and coffee in top notes. A heart encompasses vine blossom, linden tree, pepper and spices, while a base brings us precious wood, Guaiac wood, white honey and vanilla.

The perfume is available as 100ml edp. 1270 was launched in 2010. The nose behind this fragrance is Sidonie Lancesseur.

It’s so quiet, which was surprising, taking into account quite “loud” notes like resins, wood and honey.
I almost have to sniff intensively to feel it.
And it lasts really not long, couple of hours max.
It didn’t meet my expectation, it lacks intensity and character in my opinion..

This is the best scent by far from Frapin house that I’ve tried imo. It may be a fb worthing so I’ll give it a try again.
All I get is a wonderful scent with dominant dry fruit note, resins, honey, dried plum and pineapple. With that order. It has some sweetness but it’s not overly sweet. There is also noticeable orange, soft cacao & vanilla. This is not a gourmand as some say. The smell is not edible but absolutely beautiful.
As many scents of this house it has limited performance. Projection is low-moderate. I don’t want to comment about longevity yet but from the first try it seems it’s high-moderate. Beautiful scent for mild weather, spring, fall, cool summer days, totally unisex.

I admire Frapin 1270 but I don’t love it. Something about the mix of gourmand and boozy notes reminds me of being in a kitchen during the holidays.
A melange of scents that based off the pyramid should be something I love, but instead it’s only a like from me. Weak longevity with no projection on me. Totally wearable and unisex. But it is still a pass.

This smells wonderful- sweet, warm and fruity. It would be the perfect winter fragrance if not for the horrible performance. I can’t justify $229 for one that can only be smelled if someone literally smells your skin. Why can’t companies just make colognes with decent performance? Paying $200+, you shouldn’t have to worry whether your cologne will last the day or can actually be smelled by someone standing 2 metres away.

A breathtakingly gorgeous spice gourmand that is bright, transportative and so therapeutic. The opening has boozy dried fruits, cocoa and coffee notes and as it settles the spices begin to emerge highlighted by an understated pepper. Finally upon settling, one detects woody notes (including oud), honey and vanilla. This is an expertly blended composition much like many others in the eclectic Frapin line but it still remains very classy and understated and oh so elegant. Moderate in sillage/projection/longevity and many sprays may be needed. An absolutely enchanting composition. Enjoy!

I’ll just ditto what peppermoon mentioned below because this pretty much captures my sentiments about this fragrance. To me, Frapin 1270 would be a really great fragrance if it weren’t for less-than-stellar performance and that dried fruits accord mucking things up a bit. Still, it’s a nice scent that worth taking a sniff…just not quite for me.

Starts out rich boozy fruits, with pineapple at the front. The fruits are supported by nutty, woody, spicy (pepper!) notes – dry cacao / coffee. A bit of honey.
Nutty coffee floral heart with candied orange. Oud pops up in the drydown but its sourness just feels like the coffee note has turned to stale coffee – I could have done without the oud.
1270 is unisex – it feels like a rich woman’s gourmand layered over a woody/spicy men’s cologne. It reminds me of a softer, more soft focus version of Serge Lutens’ oriental scents. Overall, I really like it but there’s something keeping it from being a love.

  11. :

A fine old French melange – I can see why it’s a bestseller, even though the recipe’s too gourmand for my taste overall.
Leads with a startlingly fresh and lusciously juicy smack of pineapple and plum (and more plum! and a bit more plum!) at first, then modulating with extraordinary smoothness into gentle general sweet aromatic territory. Very very *very* well blended – look at the notes and you might think it is overpowering or clashy, but it never is.
I usually run away fast from fruity or oversweet stuff, but this is mellow and nuanced enough to keep me sniffing and enjoying for hours. The coffee doesn’t go bitter, the honey doesn’t smell of wee, even the linden blossom behaves itself. So it masterfully swerves so many of the things which could go wrong. But it just doesn’t seduce me completely, either – I think I need more spice, or one individual ingredient to stand out more, to make this more distinctive. It’s so very highly cultured and controlled that it sort of cancels itself out on me. But really admirable work … and if you’re after a deep mellow spicy plum in particular, this one’s a plum pick.

This is very fustrating to me, but now and then I will spray a fragrance and for whatever reason all I smell is an extremely linear soft scent which i can’t make any notes out at all and this is one of them! Notes sound awesome as well and I love orchid man! Stuff this! 0/10

I got it from a friend who had a love-hate relationship with it. It gave her headaches. I smelled it and just felt we can be friends.
Although it first hits as an old and gourmand perfume, it is fresh and modern. It goes well daytime in the office – I must confess I wouldn’t have thought when smelled in the bottle, and I used it very carefully at the beginning. It may seem sweet, maybe clogging, the kind to stay on your skin forever.
I wish it was the case. It ended up in my purse, I use it in the office with no worry. I can spray it again during daytime – I get compliments, no complains.
I wish it hanged around more. I wish it had a bit of trail. I wish people ask what perfume is it? I wish people be in awe. But darn, as wonderful as it is, it stays put, not wating to be discovered. What a pity.
It is the chocolate / brandy / tobacco / dried fruits / lots of wood combination that knocks my socks off. But is not a male perfume. It is for a woman who can ride it – as the friend who first owned it said when selling it to me. I can, but at times even 1270 seems little.
Later edit: it is summer. Main notes are oud and cognac. It can be worn in summer, it only needs a soft breeze to start the show – if only would last longer.

Frapin 1270 gives an impression of smoky light amber, fruits, and dried leaves. I get an image of walking in a rural setting, kicking up fallen leaves on an autumn afternoon, with a bit of fireplace smoke in the air. 1270 stays close to the body.

entering some cafe filled with elegant people and the smell of Pineapple, honey, cacao, coffee are mingling in the air…..(نوعا ما مقارب لعطر this is not a blue bottleبسبب البرتقال والعسل لكن سويت اكثرررر وفواكهي ومن غير الياسمين)

The notes look far better than this scent actually is. In the top, all I smelt was coffee mixed with a slight, indiscernible sweetness. After about an hour, this dries down to just be a slightly sweet, generic fragrance. You aren’t missing out on anything if you never smell this in your life.
    Smell: 4/10
    Performance: 2/10
Price/value: 1/10 (because they are nice bottles)

Is this reformulated? I tried it in a shop a while ago and it smelled like too much pineapple. This note was really dominating through every stage of the development. Now, I am trying my old sample and smell barely pineapple. Actually I love this sample. I love the balanced comination of the notes on it. I get a lot of plum, honey, cogniac, tobacco, cacao, coffee, vanilla and more dried fruits than pineapple.. so, any idea?

  18. :

    4 out of 5

Mega pineapple nectar! This is really juicy and sweet to open, almost cloyingly so. As 1270 warms, the earthy facets of honey start to surface and make this juice even thicker.
A little birch and some indistinguishable wood notes diffuse the sweetness just a little, adding some cozy smoke. Here it releases an boozy, fruity accord, rich and plummy, dark and ambrosial accented with honeyed floralcy.
The scent then becomes a little balmy, a hint waxy. Here I detect a soft nuttiness and tannins that are really pleasant. This here is the best part and I get that in the whole evolution of Pierre Guillaume’s Aomassai.
Personally, this is a little too fruity for me; objectively, this is an exceptional gourmand fragrance.

  19. :

Very nice! Brings to mind a “feminine” Aventus.

  20. :

    5 out of 5

Honey and Pineapple certainly take center stage here, which, along with the candied fruits result in an almost sickly sweet opening. As this dies down, the honey becomes very powdery, which is not unpleasant. Would be perfect for Autumn/Winter. Lasts approximately 4 hours or so on the skin (12+ on fabric) with moderate sillage.

  21. :

    4 out of 5

Woww, one of the best opening. You will get a beautiful realistic boozy pinapple note. I only wish if this pinapple note last through out the dry down. In the dry down you mostly get honey and dried fruits, and touch of cocoa and vanilla as well. Dry down is nice for sure, but doesn’t do an enough justice to the beautiful opening. Unfortunately the performance is kinda weak, 3 to 4 sprays will get you 5 to 6 hours maximum. Projection is good for first 2 hours, then become close to skin. And I don’t agree with some of the people saying this is outdated or old smell, definitely not on my skin. I would say it’s a safe blind buy if you know what you are looking for.

  22. :

    5 out of 5

I can’t believe more people can’t smell the florals in the top. This goes on a very very sweet candied gourmand fragrance with some floral notes. As it dries down the wood notes and vanilla become prominent in a powdery sweet patchouli. I am shocked there isn’t patch in this. It is there. Again, I can’t believe more people don’t rate the wood notes higher. This is NOT a pineapple, plum, fruit scent. They are there sweetening it but it’s really about the honey, wood and vanilla.

  23. :

Frapin 1270 is winter coziness in a bottle. The opening of 1270 is very inviting and very gourmandish, with honey, pineapple and cacao figuring strongly in the mix. As the opening of 1270 mellows out a bit, the florals and dried fruit peek out giving the scent more complexity. It is in the mid notes you realize that this fragrance is more than just a boozy fruity melange. 1270 then warms up with the guaiac wood, as well as the other woody elements to give the scent a bit of needed muscle. When these aforementioned notes are mixed with the resin note 1720, much like Hermes’ Ambre Narguile gives off an almost tobacco effect (In my opinion) which really creates a rich aura around this scent and adding to it another layer of sweetness (earthy sweetness). In the base of this scent we are left with a lovely coffee, vanilla and hazelnut mix which is very sweet and relaxing. Frapin has created a lovely winter warmer here, which I think works for both sexes. The only draw back for me with this scent is the projection, which can be remedied with a few more sprays and definitely sprays to clothing as well. With Frapin 1270 think evening time, this scent is lovely when moving from the cold night air into a warm home. 1270 is that festive party scent, or for evening gatherings during the holidays. This fragrance needs to be worn with a nice cable knit sweater while you catch up with friends or family over sips of something warm, that came from an oak aged barrel.

I,ve smelled it before…it,s amazing delicious gourmandy but it does not project more than 2 hours but it,s 6 hours to 7 of longlasting it,s an amazing perfection…but i love pure malt abit better….. pure malt is a freaking outstanding delicious smokey caramel chocolade fruty whiskey type of smell

    5 out of 5

Frapin 1270 is agreeable and pleasant, and, if cheaper, one I’d gravitate toward but it suffers from being a little uninspiring.
Don’t get me wrong—I like its sweetness, a mix of honeyed nuts, cocoa, and seemingly a variety of fruit—but its performance is just so limited. As it dries down into a bed of woods and leather, it becomes a little bit less of a sweet gourmand and more of a balanced fragrance that, while still much like fruity baked goods, nonetheless comes back to a more familiar place with some traditional cold weather elements.
Its inspiration is cognac, and I have to say upon first wearing that it doesn’t strike me as especially boozy but far more of the sweet and fruity mix. The opening was more akin to Profumum Acqua e Zucchero (sweet, fruity water) and the dry down is more like a sweet tobacco/incense.
I like a bit, but it’s difficult to enjoy a lot in colder weather when it doesn’t project.

I agree with others on the performance of this, it’s not great, but I only have a small sample vial. I’m going to transfer to an automizer and see if that helps any. If that improves longevity I will be looking to purchase a FB. I’m not usually into sweet, gourmand type fragrances, but this is on another level. The opening is like a pineapple flavored liquor, once that tones down, the plum comes along side the pineapple, then comes the cocoa, honey, dried fruits and vanilla. The coffee note makes a very subtle and brief appearance, before it’s drown out by the other notes. There are definitely some resins and spices in here, but what kind, I cannot say. This is so warm and yummy, if you like sweet gourmands you need to at least sample this!!!
Edit: I finally found a FB at a price that I was willing to pay for something with such poor performance. I love the fragrance, but the performance is just awful; it wears more like a body spray than an edp (tbh I have body sprays with better performance).

another good perfume from my favorite perfumer.Sidonie Lancesseur.
scent:immediately i sniff that i love it.mix of pineapple and honey that make it little boozy and no change untill in basenote add some cacao. i’m crazy about the scent and because of very good price(less 100$)i bought it momentarily.you can’t find any person who say i don’t like it.
longevity: i don’t know why somebody say longevity is less than 3 hour???every niche perfume i’ve smelled in my life last more than 6 hour even this one. maybe they mean sillage not last longing!!this one last on my shirt about 12 hours easily.
sillage:the only problem that make me sad about this Gem is here. with 8 sprays i’ve got only 2 hour sillage and after that it’s down on my skin.really sad.
i give it 8/10 only because of bad sillage.

This reminds me Burp after eating butter scotch Ice-cream, In my life time this the fragrance made me smile and raise eyebrow with loud WOW… Remarkable Fragrance,
Caution: I used 2 bottles do not get confused here i have done much study asking every tom dick n harry when i wore this fragrance THIS PERFUME LASTS LONG TIME AND PROJECTS AS WELL…in fact on my blazer it lasted almost weeks so plz It is something to do with Olfactory disfunction (normal inability to distinguish a particular NOTE after a prolonged exposure to that airborne compound.) People can smell this around for hours n hours.

Absolutely glorious sweet delicious perfume!!! I fell in love on the instant I first put it on (I always blind-buy. I love the thrill of discovery! And the riskiness!!! So far I’ve had about 90% success rate!!!), and have stayed totally in love ever since!!! It’s the most gorgeous, sweet, fruity, woody, warmly spicy and balsamic perfume I’ve ever known! I adore it! So delicious and yummy. I can’t get enough of it. Definitely could eat it!! And my family could too – they love me wearing it!!
It lasts so well too – god! I put it on first thing (around 5am) and it’s still lovely and rich and strong at 3pm, and then just subsides a little, and really truly stays close to me for hours and hours after that. It’s fabulous!!!! I feel deliriously happy when I smell it, and on my clothes it’s divine!!!

This scent was a game changer for me. I was new to the niche world and this was recommended to me by Naz at the Perfume Shoppe in Vancouver. I was not a gourmand fan at the time (how that has changed!) and took a risk, buying a full bottle. Wow! My mind was blown! This is a luscious scent that is reminescent of pineapple upsidedown cake together with a boozy accord. It is my go to scent for comfort. I wear it all year round and its performance is not beast mode but is certainly adequate. When I wear this, I get remarks all the time; usually comments to the effect of what are you wearing – it smells amazing and unique. I have to agree. I now am almost done my bottle and will be purchasing another.

Beautiful fragrance… This is a unique one. Many have mentioned boozy, this is the booziest fragrance i ever encountered. Once I got some Jack Daniels on my fingers and upon drying, it smells like some fragrance I’ve got my nose on my nose before… before it dawned on me, 1270! Smells like good ol’ aged booze in a barrel.
Major issue is its performance… below average longevity, projects decently during its lifespan lol.

Very elegant, sophisticated. Reminds me of some type of cognac/whiskey with hints of pipe smoke.

  33. :

Nice smell but way to weak. I expect a lot more for the hefty price this house is asking.

  34. :

This is definitely a different frag’s, I first came across this juice at a boutique and I wasn’t sure at first spray. After leaving the store and wearing it all day, I started to enjoy this fragrance. At first sniff it has a strong medicine vib. It only lasts for a few minutes, afterwards I pick up a boozy/sweet scent from honey and plum. I also smell a dry woody base and resin later throughout the day. The sweetness is always present.
Longevity and Silage is very good lasting at least 6hrs
What I enjoy about this juice is that this juice goes through different stages..starting with strong sweet creamy vib. After it takes on a real attractive woodsy/spicy aroma. Finally this juice has a real woodsy-spicy-oriental aroma with a powdery vib. I would use it during the fall and winter months up to mid spring…. 8/10 try before buying, it all depends on your body chemistry.

  35. :

WOW i didn’t realize I had any of this left! Wore it for the first time in, I dunno, 7 or 8 months.
Immediately I get a fruity, vanilla-boozy, woody scent. The vanilla is pretty prevalent from start to finish; even though it’s a base note, i feel it right away, and it’s IMO the last note to dissipate. The fruits, also, i smell from start to finish. –About the fruits, I don’t necessarily get pineapple exactly, but I DO get a tart “mixed dried fruit and berries” kind of vibe. The woody notes are dry, subtle and they come & go, and are among the first notes to fully vanish many hours later.
Interesting stuff. Very unique, still haven’t come across anything like it. My tastes have changed since I first wore this, and I’m not likely going to order any more of it. Instead, I should try other Frapins. I’ll still give this 8/10 it’s a solid performer and definitely unique. I notice it all day, and can stick to certain clothing indefinitely.

  36. :

    4 out of 5

Pleasant, but barely detectable on my skin. So undetectable, I can hardly make out the notes. This one is more like a Molton Brown hand wash than a pricey perfume. I smell only a hint of citrus and fruit, nothing special, just ok.

  37. :

    4 out of 5

What about 1270 Frapin?! I do not even know, but I’ll try. Heck, that singular fragrance and original quality! All I wanted to try to compare it would be a futile attempt to approach the excellence which she is so “sui generis”. Most fragrances are created by Frapin “shareable”, to their way, but they are; with liqueur funds, sweetened and sometimes resinous too. 1270 is a spicy fragrance sweet that punge every move made and warms every minute that evolves, example of this is its plum syrup output with Tonka hyper-resinous heated in a coffee pot to 100 ° C with some live citrus touches thriving this combination is so unique that nothing comes to be compared to such openness and at the same time loves to holding their attention, causing him to stop and enjoy every moment of this phase. In the notes half it becomes more oriental, because the spices are shown, and it seems that they are being marketed under a scorching sun exuding an impressive speed, you can also feel some Hazelnuts being peeled and relatively floral accents interwoven spices and They make 1270 Frapim a stout fragrance. At the base, it behaves sparingly presenting woody touches quite mild, and sweet is perhaps the audacious combination of honey and an overwhelming Vanilla, rough, crude and manly, printing a alteroso aspect to the fragrance and making an end of the greatest shows, the line “oriental gourmand”, which could already witness on my skin, I attribute all this originality that it can sustain from start to finish. Contrary to say, fixed and projects beyond 7 h quietly, at least for me. Fragrance androgynous ALL senses; perhaps a male-alpha did not feel comfortable to wear 1270 Frapin. That’s all I tried.
Word of the day: exclusivity… (day 41)

  38. :

    4 out of 5

Right off the top, I get predominately a sweet boozy pineapple. After about an hour or so the freshness from the pineapple fades but still remains as an undertone while the coffee, honey, cocoa and spices start to really shine. It doesn’t change much after the initial blast of pineapple but still remains complex enough to be interesting. This will be one of my favorites for late summer and fall. It projects moderately and lasts about 5-6 hours before it becomes a skin scent.
    Smell-9/10
    Projection-6/10
    Longevity-7/10
    Overall-8/10
Everything is perfect besides the performance, which still isn’t terrible. I would definitely recommend trying.

Hey guys, we all here to share our opinion about perfumes. The other reviews are out of the topic! Please do not ruin the atmosphere by these kinds of reviews!! It is needed to mention that all the people who share their opinion can not write their reviews in English very well because they are from other countries (Like me). So they have a very limited vocabulary option or It is hard for them to write a complete review.

Woody, resinous, spicy fruits. Unique but likable, which seems to be a rarity now. I find it to be soft but not weak. A must try for anyone who likes to sniff off the beaten path, but who is wary of getting lost in the depths of a dark forest.

As I sit here typing, one spray on my forearm gently wraps me in a cocoon of scent reminiscent of tropical paradise in the evening. Is it a room filler? No, not at all. But perfect for wearing out an about almost any time, since you should leave a light trail, and won’t knock anyone out.

  41. :

    5 out of 5

It’s a damn shame this is so weak on my skin because this is a true gem. I get about 5 hours longevity but it projects for less than 1 hour. I was starting to really like this one a lot. I have about 15 ml left in my bottle but don’t know if I will repurchase. If I had 6-8 longevity and a good 2.5-3 hours of projection this would be a no brainier. Believe it or not I wear this in the warmer months. Beautiful but weak. Price is a little steep as well but if it could get everything I asked for a second ago, no hesitations whatsoever.

It opens up with exotic ripe fruit note, then a little bit of spice comes out. A very muted scent so it us hard to hear it.

  43. :

    4 out of 5

Very nice, but the sillage is far too soft. It’s difficult to smell it at times.
It opens with pineapple and spices. It’s a contradiction, but it works. I feel like pineapple is tropical and sunny, but here, paired with resins and spices (mostly pepper and I think cardamon) it becomes something darker that adds a richness.
There’s a lovely whiff of tonka and hazlenut that soften things somewhat. Then the dry down becomes a soft oud and vanilla. Can’t say I notice the honey.
Really, really nice, but so hard to smell I’m not sure if it’s worth a full bottle.

Now that the rich creamy orange top note has been thinned out I don’t like it as much. It’s a bit greener, spicier and less cohesive than original, although still nice if you spray liberally. Two sprays equal the old one. More like a masculine designer department store frag though, and not as sexy. For $100 maybe but at $195 not worth the niche price.

Just purchased a small decant from a friend, and I’m delighted by this stuff.
Spicy and sweet, it smells good enough to drink. The spices in this honestly made me think of Spicebomb, but when i compared them side-by-side, they’re different but there IS a nagging spice-note or combo of notes that remind me of each other. Even as I sit here smelling both, they’re “kinda the same, but way different”.
I’m digging this fragrance. It was a blind-buy based on the note pyramid and just how cool the bottle and liquid looks =) I’m pleased. You could almost tell people it was made in 1270, has been meticulously stored and they might believe you, it really does have a rustic vintage, or even antique vibe to it. 8/10 for me.
*edit: Warm vanilla base lasted about 20 hours for me. It was a completely different fragrance at that point, but was still straining to be noticed. VERY nice, I’m giving it 8.5/10 .

instantly reminded me of back to black but without the powder cutesy. A heavily sweet scent. A cold weather scent. The thing i don,t like about it is that it dances on the border of smelling like fermented fruit.
I think this is better suited for a woman. This was launched one year after back to black and the perfumer of this works together with the perfumer who made back to black in the same house. Coincidental?
    Ok but not for me

I must say this one is good one, right after I applied I can smell nice blend of honey, flowery, fruity and light coco.
I am not big fan of sweet, fruity frag, this one change my mind since this is not a too havy on sweet.. I will use perfect balance of blends.
I think In winter going to be great. I am placing on my buying list. So far about 3 hours.. performing well.
    My score 8.5/10.

The orange note creates a striking beginning which is not typically my cup of tea, but Frapin’s 1270 evolves almost instantly into a sweet and boozy scent, which warms up on the skin to a honey-infused, resinous potion. I also somehow catch the traces of green moss. This would be a great fragrance to cozy up to in the coldest of the winters. It is intoxicating and celebrates joie de vivre.
P.S. This indeed smells to me as mostly for women and yes, I agree there is plenty of pineapple in it.

not sure about this one, first impression was very good but as time went on i realised the opening was too sweetly fruity, and it slightly reminds me of a womans fragrance.
i like the boozy plummy-pineapple opening(like a more feminine michael kors for men).I didnt get much honey in this one.
unfortunatley for me it was almost nauseating and is not something that i think i could fall in love with.
the mid is way more balanced, less sickly and sweet and i start to enjoy it a bit more though till feels a bit “light” or feminine for my liking
the drydown i liked better, chocolaty notes start to come in and make this more of a gourmand, while the pinapple is still there im getting coffee beans and probably the cacao ad hazelnut aswell though not as much as coffee. this is about 4 hours in. It reminded me a little bit of the choco musk by al rehab/chocolate greedy by montale and maybe even a little bit of the A*men drydown.
This scent is like flowing through a whiskey gallery in Paris with 2 halls. one has pineapples darted around and a few berries/plums here and there: the other is where the whiskey is kept. The smells of these two are molded but also separate. This is a clean place, not old and decrepit at all but rather clean and looked after, the smell is light. After walking for a while the two halls merge and you recieve the smell of the two equally. just before you leave, you go to the drinking/desert hall for a few hours where you are served a light whiskey from before mixed with pineapple(which the waiter claims is a secret recipe from medieval times: year 1270), and eat a coffee-cacao mousse desert with a soft creamy biscuit base.
to conclude, i do like 1270 frapin, and i can see many people absolutely loving it, but not for me.It gets better as time goes on like aging whiskey.
performance is ok, to me the projection was never good even from the first hour i seemingly had to wave my hand to smell it however a few hours after wearing it my father said he could smell a fragrance, that might have been because i was mostly in the same room for the portion of my wearing.
Longevity is about 6-8 hours id say.
compliment factor for women: i could see the older generations (30+) enjoying this scent but i believe it is also pleasant to those in their twenties aswell.
compliments for men: probably best in the 25+ range
    Thanks for reading

Very similar to What We Do In Paris Is Secret except this has pineapple and plum instead of litchi. Both being unisex but this leaning a bit more in the feminine direction. The fruity notes blended on a bed of gourmand and woody notes is superb. It’s a scent that you pretty much can’t dislike. Very enjoyable even as it sits close to the skin. If I had to choose one it would the Lab On Fire because it has better performance.

Pineapple, honey, cacao, hazelnut. I even smell patchouli, although not listed. Fun, easy, light fragrance. Nothing too sweet and sticky like gourmands sometimes can get, it actually smells a little salty for me.

I’ve heard a lot about this famous niche perfume so thought I should try it. This is basically a solely pineapple scent on me. It’s strange that pineapple isn’t a listed note but it’s widely accepted as one by the community and is one of the main notes according to Fragrantica. It’s light, refreshing and uplifting.
Other fruity aspects come into it and, although the fruity notes are listed as dried, smell wet and fresh. It has some cologne and booze aspects to it. It smells like something a rich person, of any gender, would wear on a cruise shi
