Very refreshing and sweet perfume! Kind of similar to Angel and Lolita Lempicka (I prefer Lolita out of the 3). Definitely perfect for spring I would say! The dry down smells a lot like honey and flowers. It gets a bit musky and vanilla-ish right at the end. I would say sillage and longevity are like 8/10. I got mine for £25ish for 75ml so definitely worth it! Not sure I would pay more though.. the scent is beautiful but not too unique to justify paying more!

I am to happy actually acquire an older bottle of this from a relative on an in-law alongside a couple of other which looks like it was regularly used.
Passed down treasure review #1:Wish by Chopard
The perfume color itself had turned green but the scent of it is still perfectly intact.Smelling it from the nozzle has this sweet, balsamic remnants of it which also smells a bit green and fresh. Now if you spray this on your skin, the initial smell blasts out a strong scent of like an astringent or maybe like a boozy light coloured liquor then subsides to this sweet thick dark amber sugar.Like the process of making caramel. You boil the sugar until it reaches a certain stage. It’s that one. Then comes pouring the cream.Which turns into the caramel itself. It can detect a bit of floral in this one.Like a white dusty floral or a mild, sweet and wet soil on a humid day.So I assume it must be the patchouli kicking in.The Vanilla itself blends in seamlessly under those sweet milky notes and wet soil sensation that it gives me.Also gives me a smell of myrrh or probably some sweet resin that lays underneath all that.
Regarding to it’s similarities on Angel.I can tell you that this a smoother version of angel.A smooth caramel and a cleaner patchouli that doesn’t smell peppery or should i say, armpit stench of someone who forgot to wear deodorant on a hot summer day.The dirty patchouli on Angel is so dirty that it can turn sharp under the warm or humid weather. This one just got that smooth blend in it while TM’s Angel has a sharp dirty, minty patchouli and the smell of a rough and grainy caramel which goes on fights on my skin throughout the day.Angel goes dirty patchouli then caramel then dirty patchouli then caramel. The moment I shower without using any some is when it all tames down to a balance of the two loud notes.
Longevity is excellent in this one while projection-wise.I cannot really tell.
The whiffs you get is so pleasant to the nose and its like a cloud in the night. It’s comforting and well balanced.
The bottle is really cute but mine probably fell because a portion of the bottom was chipped off haha.

It’s very noisy scent but in a good sense – a bit ambient, a bit white noisy, but all in all one of the easiest and pleasant gourmand scents to wear. I do get some resemblance to Angel, but I find Wish less demanding, more eager, less loud – I love one commentator’s description that Wish is Angel’s no-nonsense, quieter cousin – it’s so on point. It’s quieter but it doesn’t mean it does not have anything to say.
It’s my kind of vanilla, sweet and powdery, complex but not overbearing, a bit on the younger side but still elegant and smart.
The bottle is beautiful – it’s so hard to throw it away – but not the easiest to carry in purse.

This smells nothing like the notes it shows OR Angel. It’s literally a soft baby powder explosion. Not bad but definitely nothing spectacular.

First off…this smells absolutely NOTHING like Thierry Mugler Angel. I have worn Angel almost daily since 1994, and have gone thru all the flankers, and Chopard Wish is just nothing like Angel.
Wish’s bottle and the colour of the fragrance are V E R Y Angel-esque however. You can tell that Chopard really wanted to channel Angel in their packaging.
Chopard Wish is not “bad”, but on my skin it smells very much like drug store Vanilla Fields :-O The first spray is oddly harsh. I mean for a hot second it is like Noir de Noir meets Paloma Picasso, and then it very quickly morphs into a warm, sweet and cheap vanilla.
Longevity is naturally great….when I am not in love with a scent, it is long lasting. Murphy’s Law. Sillage is not weak, but Wish makes itself noticeable.
This is one of those not bad scents, but just nothing special or remarkable. If you like it, there are many online sites that carry Wish, and it can be had for about $20. A bargain for a very bargain smelling scent 😉

Wow I love this! The patchouli in Angel is too overwhelming on me, but here it’s perfect. A beautiful blend of honey and patchouli on my skin, perfect for cozy winter or autumn days (I prefer to use this during daytime, as it makes me feel comforted). I only paid $25 for the full 75ml bottle, so compared to Angel this is also way more affordable (and the bottle is really beautiful too!). Highly recommended for gourmand lovers!

A perfume that is sophisticated and aristocratic with amazing projection and duration.
To my nose there is no connection with “Angel”, as “Angel” has a basic formula that needs to be blended with the skin elements in order to emit its sweetness – if it does, it depends on the skin. “Wish”, on the other hand, is one of those perfumes that remains the same.
If, however, a comparison with “Angel” needs to be made, I would say that “Wish” is definitely more refined and delicate.
I personally believe that “Wish” has reached prominence only because of its scent, without any promotion or advertisement. In an era where over a hundred perfumes exist but only ten of them one smells everywhere due to publicity, “Wish” manages to survive without modern tools, only relying on its formula and wearing result.
This is a fragrance of a respectable jewellery house that costs really reasonably and its smell is literally devine. Thus, for me it is a perfume I will always return to in winters to come.

Long lasting, sexy gourmand style perfume which contains vanilla, Candy, caramel, Milk, toffee. Perfect sillage. Like not love because at the beginning i was sneezing so much when i spray this. Atchoo! Maybe gourmand caramel or vanilla irritated me. Original chopard is watch brand. From Watsons blinded buy 130 Turkish liras.

I purchased this partly to its claimed resemblance to Angel and partly due to nostalgia (used to have a friend wearing this in high school and I remeber her smelling great wearing this).
This bears no similarity to Angel which is odd because they have similar notes. This scent seems… stale and way more dated than Angel is. What is also odd is that this has a lot of notes, but seems almost linear and does not exactly bloom as the notes develop. I think there is a certain beauty to this scent, due to its sweetness, but the sweetness is old and again, stale.
The sillage is not great, but the longevity is good. This is barely a like for me and I cannot appreciate this fully.

The initial spray reminds me of angel but that is were the resemblance ends. I would wear this any day any time 24/7.

Oh MY this smells great. To me this is much more powdery than Angel. So pretty, I’d wear this in the fall. Sillage pretty good not as strong as Angel thou. Longevity pretty good.
This has a tong of notes in it. I see smoky knows and honey 2 of my favorites. But the strawberry and vanilla evens it out with sweetness. I generally happy with this fragrance but again I’ll be wearing it in fall months coming ahead.

I reviewed this when I first got it during much colder weather, and it’s one I really do like but don’t really find myself reaching for a lot.
I am on a mission today though to test out some “ beware of summer heat” fragrances to see how they behave on me, and this is one of the first ones. It’s only in the 90’s (Fahrenheit!) here today and so far I am really pleasantly surprised. I was exp3cting almost an overwhelming cloying situation but truthfully, it is really blossoming into a much sweeter, fresher scent in the heat vs colder weather! The same notes are still there but the heat seems to emphasize the fruity, floral and lightly sweet milky notes on me. Not too heavy at all!

  13. :

    5 out of 5

Like many others, I can smell a clear resemblance between this and Angel. I’d describe this as Angel’s no-nonsense, quieter cousin. Wish lacks the projection and sillage of Angel, and is less complex and sweet (I’d recommend layering it with scents that have the following notes: honey, vanilla, and cotton candy). It shares most of the top notes, but seems more balsamic and aldehydic. (Edited to add: today I’m smelling more incense / smoky notes from Wish, and almost no sweetness at all). However, if you like the general scent of Angel and don’t want to shell out the $$$ for it, Wish is an affordable dupe.

Wish is one of those good classics of the late 90 s , I keep going back to it and I completely admire this scent ,it’s sweet and clean and powdery all at the same time. It’s a gourmand that smells like cream, bath and soap to my nose. A unique blend in a beautiful diamond shaped bottle with wonderful unique blue juice. It’s addictive to say the least and I haven’t smelled a scent that is even close to this. Many compare it to angel but besides the colour and the unique shaped bottle I don’t see what is there to compare.
Wish is a gem ,no pun intended ! I will always have it in my collection and it just recently moved up to my top shelf again as I am enjoying it so much and it brings me so many positive compliments. It makes me feel like a just stepped out of the bath , fresh clean and sweet. I bought my first bottle in the early 2000 s along with Kenzo flower , and those two were my signature scents , still love both to this day ! I hope it never gets discontinued.

Don’t like this, don’t like Angel. Fruitchouli+ weird notes + vanilla. Too heady and smothering for me. I’m sure it’s nice on many people but lately I’m not into heavy sweet scents.

So, again, this is one in my rapidly expanding collection that I bought over a year ago in my noobie frenzy, I think most of us have been there! I am trying to stay on a slow buy by reading the forum posting on this subject, and go back to it when feeling like I’m weakening. As in not buying a fragrance ‘just because’, or it’s cheap, etc.
And now giving it an earnest wearing today. It is rather cool outside for late June, but I really feel this blooming on me in the moderately warm temperatures.
Wow, that list of notes really is a cornucopia of ingredients that covers just about everything known to perfumers’ noses!
Making it a little challenging to pick out specific notes, but I’ll try my best. I believe I do pick up on the coconut, making this a good warm spring to summer possibility, vanilla and amber, and the sweet caramely notes definitely sensing these. As for the flowers, definitely the violet is the star here, this is what is probably contributing to the powderiness. I also think I can smell the heliotrope, as it is a favourite of mine and have some with this note prominent. If there are white florals they don’t stand out to me at all. The wood notes definitely do.
And also this lovely lasts on me a good few hours, which for me is outstanding.
Wish truly is a must have in any serious perfume aficionado’s collection, it’s a beauty, a classic and also very easy on the wallet. A winner which I hope is never discontinued. I will absolutely buy another when mine is done.

I’ve already reviewed this fragrance, but wanted to come back and mention that, though Wish is a beautiful, complex and sweet gourmand, I find it perfectly fine for all year round wear. Of course, for me the difference is in application. Wearing a tiny bit in warm, humid weather is as lovely and long lasting as several sprays in colder, drier weather. The fragrance smells the same in both but these are my experiences regarding weather-related performance.

This opens as a powerful and sharp balsamic patchouli scent. It’s a statement perfume with good sillage and an intoxicating aroma that has you repeatedly inhaling from your wrist for more. It certaintly has Angel DNA, and the patchouli stays pleasantly strong through the powder dry down. It’s sexy, seductive and sophisticated.

I finally got to experience the legend that is Chopard Wish today, i havent smelled Angel edp so im impartial to that comparison, i do know that its not really anything like the angel EDT though as i have tried that..wasnt a fan.
    Anyway..Wish, its a strange one.
Ive never really understood what people meant when they described a perfume as ” skanky” or ” dirty” until today.
It started as a strong as hell patchouli and caramel bomb and didnt really differ much from that for about 45 minutes. It was stuffy and overbearing. Then after that it actually morphed into something quite fresh and sweet.
Many years ago as a child, I remember my Mum having a big glass jar of decorative glycerin soaps on the bathroom bench, they were all different shapes and colours. With all the different flavours in the one jar the smells all mixed into one big soapy, fruity, herbal mess.
This is the first thing that came to mind when i smelled Wish; an old vintage patchouli scented soap with hints of dark chocolate.
It was unique in its own right, and i respect it for that, but its not really for me

Beautiful classic, it indeeds reminds of the era when Angel was all around in the streets, and it also reminds me of Destiny by Harley Davidson – my first perfume love. I recently bought Wish in a nostalgic mood, but unfortunately I cannot wear it anymore (my skin is doing something funny with patchouli lately). I gifted it to a friend and she was really excited about the 90s vibe of this fume!

Just got this in the mail today, it was a blind buy recommended to me here and I am so happy I bought it! It has been said before: this is what I wish Angel would smell like on me. I do get the comparison, except where this smells lovely, sweet and sexy on me Angel smells like a goats armpit (on ME, it can be lovely on others).
This is a great fragrance in its own right, it’s not really fair to constantly compare it to Angel but initially it does have the same vibe.
It seems really complex, it has a bit of a sharpness on first spray but it mellows out to a soft, well balanced, sweet scent pretty quickly. It’s not a very “in your face” scent but I kept getting whiffs of it here and there while I was working in a very pleasant way.
I like it a lot, I could see this being in my top 5..!

This perfume smells like a mint tooth paste at first then smells like nice toffee and vanilla. This perfume smells so nice i love it,it’s making me hungry. really good 9/10.

Heady, but not heavy. Imagine a quiet but elegant night at home. Champagne and hot cocoa next to the fire, making s’mores with Belgian chocolate and handmade marshmallows. Wish is everything beautiful about being indoors, cozy and relaxed, on a cool winter evening.

It reminds me of an old brand of sweet cough pastilles (it hasn’t been in the market for decades) and patchouli. Peculiar and enjoyable.

Just purchased this and its so pretty. Such an amazing price too $30 for 75ml at Chemist warehouse. I totally get an ice queen vibe from this if Elsa from frozen wore a perfume this would be it lol!

Quite pleasant milky-powdery perfume. For me it’s too sweet where vanilla and caramel meet. I don’t get oriental vibe from this as much as I find it rather warmer clubbing scent.
Winter and fall suitable. It’s quite strong so I would be careful not to overspray-

  27. :

    3 out of 5

Sweet, but not toothache-inducing, strong, but not loud, feminine, but not girly. Wish is Angel’s shy, introverted, but interesting nonetheless cousin. Incense is there to balance all the gourmand notes and the lactonic notes add softness to the composition. Wish is a comfort scent for me, perfect for cold days, stressful days, boring days. Boosts my mood all the time, makes me feel safe, secure and at home under a warm blanket with a cup of hot chocolate 🙂 I have other favorites in my perfume collection, but Wish is close to my soul. Hope they never discontinue it

  28. :

I’ll be completely honest, I only bought this for the bottle. The fact that I quite like the juice is merely a bonus. I got 30ml for a good price online, so I’m happy.
I would agree with airglow’s comments about the opening notes – very heady indeed. But after about 30 minutes, I’ve got a lovely powdery, yet spicy aroma on me that I think would still project quite well, so I am definitely going to limit this to one spray per wear so as not to choke everyone around me.
It’s 30 degrees in Christchurch today, and I only put a tiny bit on my forearm to try it out, but already I think this will be worn for cooler days and evenings. Will stroke the bottle lovingly every day though 🙂

I currently have this perfume and wear it every day to determine how it works on my skin. For now, at first the smell is overwhelming and intense. However, after ten minutes it begins to fade (fortunately). Then it develops much softer smell, it smells a little bit powdery, sweet, vanilla like. My favourite part are middle and base notes. Top notes are too sweet and agressive for my nose. I wouldn’t say this is gourmand perfume since it’s so confusing, too many ingredients at once. I can’t distinguish the ingredients.
For me, there is nothing oriental inside, unlike “Hypnotic Poison” (in the same category – oriental vanilla). Unlike “H. Poison”, Wish doesn’t smell unique, doesn’t have wow effect. It’s suitable for colder days, especially for night time. On my skin it lasts for 6-7 hours and one to two spritz’s are enough since it’s sweet at first (it can suffocate other people or you if you don’t dose it carefully. I do like this perfume after it develops into softer version, when it goes in “depth”.

jesus…. It’s like someone mashed in a huuuge bowl a whole lot of ingredients like ” well.. they each smell good —> it will smell even better together” WRONG. It is a big mashup. My nose actually went crazy while smelling it the first time and my brain just couldn’t understand the smell and the maaany notes it detected. A huge no. The persistence is not good and you will end up smelling… cheap.. that’s the word for it.

I’m super late to the Wish train, but I’m glad I got on it nonetheless.
I haven’t been able to find this where I live (Ottawa, Canada), but finally landed upon it yesterday in a drugstore – 75ml for $20! A steal, and even though I have never smelled it, I couldn’t pass it up.
I eagerly sprayed it on my wrist, then proceeded to log into Fragrantica to pour over the notes, scent pyramid and reviews. You guys never disappoint!
This fragrance seems to have everything but the kitchen sink in it, and while I really can’t discern many notes (not that I’m good at that, anyways), my nose predominantly picks up sweet, yet tart, sugar crusted berries. I don’t find this resembles the original Angel at all (which I own and love), however I do find it quite resembles Angel eau Sucree (various editions, a few of which I also own and love). Tart, sugared berries is really what I smell. No toffee, no milky quality, no honey really, and mild on the patchouli. I don’t find it powdery at all, nor floral. Just delicious, sugary, berries (I’m sounding like a broken record here).
I do think this is a sophisticated gourmand – this is no fun loving Pink Sugar here. I feel this can be worn on various occasions, and in various degrees of weather. On my skin, projection is fairly heavy for the first two hours, then settles into a delicious scent that sits fairly close to my skin, yet still gives me beautiful wafts throughout the next several hours. I’m wearing this again today, and I’m really enjoying it.
If you love sweet, wearable, sophisticated gourmands, and can get your hands on this, don’t hesitate.
    Love.

This is Love, but not at first sight. My expectations were all wrong. I expected a powerhouse, strong fragrance due to the comparisons to Angel and people describing it as “cloying” or “too strong”. I blind-ordered it from eBay and assumed it was a fake because it is much subtler and floral/powdery than expected. I verified the authenticity with a sample that a fellow generous Fragrantican sent and after knowing it is the real deal have been wearing Wish a lot. I fell in love. It is a subtle scent that has enough warmth to be worn in every season (haven’t tried it in crazy heat though). The note that stands out to me is the beautiful honey. Usually honey in perfumes is nauseating to me…but not in Wish. My husband rarely comments on gourmand fragrances but complemented me on Wish. Beautiful fragrance for all occasions (in my opinion). Lasting power is not over the top, might have to re-apply during the day.

This one still has a special place in my heart.
During my internship at a perfume shop I smelled this one short after her release.
I loved the bottle, the blue juice, the sweet and dreamy smell of it.
I knew I had to buy a bottle of it! And I did, I went thru a 75 ml like crazy.
When the end was near I bought a new one.
And so Wish is a staple in my wardrobe for years.
Back then I did not knew that patchouli would became one of my most beloved notes.
That sweet vanilla together with a milky coconut drives men crazy I guess.
When I wear this I get compliments all day long.
My husband does not like it LOL he loves Rush by Gucci. (I got that in the same year as Wish and used the two a lot during my early twenties.)
I still have one vintage sealed back up 30 ml edp bottle in the “old” box.
I see Wish for good prices all the times.
And due to that I bought a new formula 30 ml edp and 75 ml edp.
Will use it more often during the colder months to come.

  34. :

    3 out of 5

I blind bought this since it gets suggested so often in the forums and because I saw that people thought it reminds them of Angel (which I love).
When I first applied it my thought was “It smells like Lolita Lempicka, but without the licorice”. I didn’t realize until I properly read the reviews that others had that feeling. Personally, this could not be better news for me because the thing that keeps me from loving Lolita Lempicka is that pesky licorice note which I hate so much.
I would describe this scent as a cold, dry, lightly sweetened powdery fragrance. Very elegant. Sophisticated and subtle.
For those who are afraid to try it because it’s likened to Angel – Wish is SO much more soft and wearable.

  35. :

This is absolutely nothing like Angel….. The only tiny slight similarity is maybe the bottle? This is beautiful, warm powdery and comforting. Angel is loud and in your face overpowering. Sorry don’t mean to offend any Angel lovers here, Wish is a perfect Autumn/Winter fragrance, feminine and classy whilst not being too dominant. Really beautiful 🙂

I’ve tried it in a local store at 4pm and in the next morning around 10am i could still smell it! love the smell and longevity of this perfume! I desperately want to add it to my collection.

  37. :

    5 out of 5

I am very impressed by this gorgeous fragrance which was a blind-buy based (admittedly) on the bottle first and the reviews and description of the fragrance here on Fragrantica as strong albeit secondary motivating factors.
Having only just layered it over an abundance of Victoria Secret’s Bombshell EDP, this is initial appreciation with cursory appraisal.
But that first impression is sweet, creamy, and concurrently rich, so I suspect there is more to come. But, for me, it’s love at first sniff; the opening is delicious and beautiful.
    Fragrance: 10/10 *easily*. Breath-takingly beautiful.
So far an overall 8/10; the projection seems just right (moderate).
Longevity: Super-long, this lasts til the next day on skin and longer than that on clothes.
Sillage: mysterious; sometimes it projects and fills a room but other times it sits close to the skin. Hours after application I’ll catch sweet, vanillic clouds coming from seemingly nowhere and everywhere at once.
Every time I wear this one, I love her more, finding more nuances to her mysterious, chameleonlike personality. This fragrance reminds me of the beautiful shape-shifting character played by Rebecca Romijn in the X-men movies.

  38. :

    3 out of 5

Wow this is lovely! It’s sweet like tres leches. I don’t find it to be similar to Angel. To me, Angel is more of a mature lady’s patchouli bomb whereas Wish is girly, milky and soft. Sillage is a perfect arm’s length. It can get cloying from time to time, but overall it’s very casual and easy to wear.

  39. :

    4 out of 5

Sweet, milky and smokey. It doesn’t smell bad, but it is dated and a bit sickening. Sillage is great, though.

  40. :

    3 out of 5

This was another blind buy for me, based on the notes listed here and on the fact that it was really affordable. Damn, I got lucky again! Whenever I buy blindly I get surprised, but in a good way and this one was no exception. I was really curious about the milk in this perfume. It’s an amazing gourmand for winter – a milky, caramel biscuit-y scent slightly ‘peppered’ with a drop of sharp fruitiness (maybe the blackcurrant?) To me it smells nothing like Angel – which I relatively dislike thanks to the chocolate note which in perfumes I tend to perceive as bitter/sour. None of that in Wish, just creamy, biscuit-y sweetness, lovely for colder weather. In summer at 30 C it might be a tad too much, though.

  41. :

    4 out of 5

Interesting! This scent is sweet in a mature way. It smells like cream and caramel but there’s some mistery too. I think this is the incence. It’s not very innocent and it does draw me in. It’s not too heavy. There are some fresh floral notes which are slightly soapy in the background. It’s defenitely a scent you should try before you buy it.

It’s been couple of years that I have a bottle of wish in my collection.back then I tested it a couple of times and hated it.it was a huge disappointment as it has lots of my beloved notes.caramel, vanilla, toffee, honey and so much of lovely fruits and flowers sounds like something I’d love.actually I love all of it’s notes except patchouli and incense.I don’t know how could all these colorful, beautiful notes produce something so disgusting?!it wasn’t a gourmand by any means.it had some sort of old, dusty sweetness but there was also some sort of masculine bitterness.it felt clean and at the same time dirty.I just knew that I hated it.I decanted it and gave away more than half of it
I also used to hate angel but finally I found a way to enjoy it sometimes but I never tried wish again.I could see why it’s compared to angel but they’re not really similar to my nose.nothing revolutionary in wish just as. …mentioned
Yesterday I found some of my forgotten perfumes,we’re moving to a new house and I thought it’s time to leave behind some of my most hated ones.I sprayed wish on back of my hand and…WOW!I could see nothing to hate anymore!it still didn’t remind me angel.first thing came to my mind was estee lauder pleasure delight which I like alot.now I could smell sweet notes, honey and caramel balanced by a light touch of patchouli and some fruits gave it a sparkle without making wish a fruity scent.drydown was even better.this milky sweetness blended with some creamy woods and some powder.it’s pretty potent but at the same time has a pleasant softness
I’m very happy to rediscover it

  43. :

    4 out of 5

At first, I didn’t think I would like it. The top notes are pleasant but seemed to me more of a clean scent than sweet or gourmand.
Then as it dries down, it starts to sparkle. It morphs into sweet and spicy toffee, almost like a Christmas candy, but not cloying at all. Present, but very light and wearable. Although amazing on others, I can’t wear Angel at all. This, on the other hand, I can absolutely wear.
The imagery that comes to mind when wearing this is a cold, stormy winter night, wrapped in a fuzzy blanket in front of a fireplace during the holidays, a Christmas tree sparkling in one corner, with sweet candies, chocolate and toffee, and spicy caramel lattes sitting on the coffee table.

Well, like Diesel Plus Wish has a lot of notes, many very strong, but unlike DP (on my skin at least) Wish is a very harmonious, sweet, long lasting, perfume with good sillage. Unfortunately it is compared with Angel which share only a blue colour, good longevity and silage, and some sweetness .Wish has no strong patchouli and is a much more conventional perfume, more like a really really well made celeb perfume than a revolutionary one. Love this perfume. Wish was avant garde too, since he embodied all the coming celeb gourmands brought by Fantasy.

On me, Wish does seem like a softer, gentler Angel, so it’s pleasant for daytime wear at work when i don’t want to overwhelm anyone. lasts for at least 12 hours on my skin, although the sillage is gone after 3-4. just leaves a charming cotton candy scent, with just a hint of chocolate.

I agree with Charliexxx, it’s not similar to Angel on me at all. I adore Angel, it dries down to a fresh, cleaness on me that I’m in love with.
I like Wish but it hasn’t got the depth and complexity that Angel has. I must not compare them!! Wish is quite pretty, a bit too sweet for me, but lasts well with reasonable sillage, for the price at the moment it’s a great purchase.

For years, this was just a meh fragrance for me. (I actually ordered it by accident mistaking it for Wish by Lollia!) However, last week I found it again and instead of spraying it on my wrists as I had always done, I sprayed it behind my ears. And voila! It had a totally different effect and I’m kind of loving it now.

On my skin it is a very sweet honey and caramel based scent that has in common with angel only thw blue colour of its liquid, the longevity (10 hours plus) and the intense sweetness. On me it is no Angel but quite an excellent scent.

This fragrance is so feminine! I don’t know many people who do not like this. It’s an amazing cocktail of warm, sweet vanilla mixed with a delicate powderiness of flowers, honey and coconut. All the men in my family just love it. Sometimes I do find the initial spray a bit overwhelming. I think one or two sprays is sufficient otherwise you may suffocate others. I’ve had my bottle for over a year and unfortunately it lost its beautiful blue colour, it now resembles a greenish colour. Still smells the same just doesn’t look as pretty :-(.

Wish will always be a very special fragrance for me. I wore it on my wedding day in 1999! I’ll never forget my dressmaker spraying it all over me, my dress, my hair, my veil. She said it was my big day and I should make a big, unforgettable entrance. I definitely floated in a cloud down the isle and I loved it. Hope I didn’t suffocate our guests though ;o) By the way, I don’t think this smells anything like Angel!

If it is to compare Angel with this one, I can say Wish is more feminine and delicate. Angel can totally pass as a unisex fragrance at least for the top and middle notes as the masculine version (A*Men) is very similar to the feminine version.
If it is to talk about Wish only, I think it is for the elegant sexy type of women (and the same type of occasions), mature but expressing youth and sensuality, sweet and heavy but somehow refreshing and not headache-y at the same time. The smell makes me think of those elegant reception parties with live cafe concert music for dancing in two, where women wear long tight revealing black or red dresses with high heels and have respectful mysterious attitude.
If you like the notes and you believe you would like it but you are not sure and you are looking for a kick to buy it, this is it. Take it. Good quality for good price.
