So disappointed. Bought two bottles of the spray….nice, kind of dirty musk once the alcohol dissipated, then absolutely nothing! I sprayed again, like six times on top of my hand…nice smell, then nothing. Asked my friend to smell my hand and she didn’t smell anything. It may be cheap, but it’s a complete waste of money. Don’t bother. They’ve somehow managed top notes, but nothing else. I’ll stick with Jovan.

This scent so epitomizes the 70’s and drugstore scents. It was much more full bodied and longer lasting back then!
I happened to find a mixed musk boxed set at a drugstore..at a great price…so what the heck!
Have been wearing Wild Musk today. It is light, much lighter than the original. But the scent is essentially the same. Little silage, basically you have to snif the skin to detect it. After 3~4 hours its gone. It makes a nice after shower spray for fall and winter.

What is sold in the stores today, is basically water to the original. The OIL was HEAVEN!

This review is for the current concentrated cologne spray:
This reminds me a bit of baby oil, but more mature (not old) and composed, wearble take on it.
After the initial blast of alcohol, I get baby oil for the first few minutes, then it becomes a warm, powdery skin musk.
One would expect something with “wild” in it’s name to be somewhat primal and bold, or at the very least contain a hint of ‘animal’ or dirtiness, but as most have commented, that is not the case. Perhaps it was prior to it being reformulated?
    Update:
I got my hands on a vintage. Any animalic notes must have been limited to earilier versions of the scent, because I get none here either. While still very similar to the current version, the vinage is much more elegant, the rose more pronounced and the powder in is less “baby powder” and more of a cosmetic powder. I can’t imagine how gorgeous the oil must be!

Gah. This is so nice for approximately 3.7 minutes—the dry vanilla of Coty’s Vanilla Fields/Vanilla Musk, a hint of powdery classic rose, the barest hint of a warm musk—then it’s a barely a wisp of a pleasant breeze.
I must be anosmic to this musk. As someone who loves musk, and loves using their sense of smell, this makes me unreasonably sangry (sad and angry).
I will have to hope a vintage appears within my range and means.
ETA: Layering this with my beloved Jovan White Musk adds a bit of depth to the clean fluffy wonder cloud that is JWM, but I remain upset that I cannot enjoy this classic on its own in its current formulation.
ETA Pt. II: Still trying with this one. There is definitely a warm powdery aspect that is comforting and delightful..reminds ever so slightly of CK’s Obsession..but so fleeting! I have been spraying with absolute abandon into my evening bath, and spraying myself afterwards. I find it a very pleasing choice for that purpose, and imagine it will be even more delightful once the weather turns cooler.

It reminds me my childhood. It was, for a long time, the signature frangrance of my mon. I really appreciate it. At beggining (five minutes) I do not feel anything than baby powder, but after those minutes, the musk becames stronger and very distinct and pleasent. It is a beyond the time fragrance. It will always have its admirers.

All I get is baby powder.

This is one of my favorite scents, and is definitely one of my favorite musks. It reminds me of my mother. It’s her all time favorite musk. It’s sweet, vanilla, and musky. I like Jovan Musk, but I personally prefer Coty Wild Musk.

  9. :

I have the Concentrated Cologne spray and I like it! Regular Coty Musk turns into rancid butter on me but this stays delightfully musky and slightly floral. It is sharp, especially in the opening, but for a drugstore fragrance, it isn’t bad at all. I am sure this will find its way into my rotation.

I recently ordered a vintage, textured bottle of this for an ungodly price online. I didn’t mind paying the price because this is one of my favorite scents EVER but unlike most people here I don’t have a nostalgic story attached. I was born in 1987 so I didn’t wear this as a teen or smell it on my mom or aunts. I first discovered it in its reformulated incarnation and still managed to fall in love with it, despite it only lasting a couple minutes after spraying and despite all the comments here claiming it a shadow of its former self after they removed the good old nitro-musks.
The version in this old bottle is a lot smoother and much sweeter and richer smelling than the new version available in drug stores today. If heaven exists, I hope it smells like this, so warm and cuddly and lovely. Unfortunately, lasting power is still terrible and it’s still a very soft skin scent. Maybe that’s because of the age of the perfume, or something is wrong with my nose. I still enjoy the smell more than any other even if it is fleeting.
If anyone can recommend a better performing, more readily available dupe or cousin for this PLEASE let me know! I would be eternally grateful

Musk scents were big in the late 70s early 80s with loves baby soft and coty wild musk and Jovan musk. It had a stronger synthetic musk and richer ingredients than we have today due to ifra regulations and the white musks used as a base. I know its a white musk as my nose closed and became congested..but its a nice musk with a hint of rose and animalic whiff but not enough to make it a man slayer.. More like her naughty little sister

A classic bargain fragrance. This was a staple in my collection as a teenager. This is a light powdery musk that stays very close to the skin. Longevity isn’t that great but hey, it’s only $10.

  13. :

Why do they reformulate these simple fragrances?!
The original from the 90s was sweetly earthy but sexy and not in need of fixing. I had a solid form my Aunt gave me. This new one fades too fast but worse…there’s a barnyard note. Nope! Please bring back the original formula!

Tried this one out blindly. I am on a musk kick with my fragrance choices. This musk smelled rather masculine and not good for me. Musk is so different person to person. I have to say just try it out for yourself. I think in my case a big part of it was the rose really came out with the musk on me which was not good, and based on ratings here that is not the result that most people get.

yesterdasy I went to Walmart 🙂 yes this is where they still are!
And so cheap tell me baout it!
    Anyway!
Believe me… if they would work on newer version it would be hit!
Remove dyes and synthetic… keep… the sooth…w arm desert wind.. like tones… and will be great… sensualle… perfume…
I had in my hands and on myyself over 500 perfumes… I know what I amtyping its really. nice one….
Of course bot for everyday… but a little touch on previous formula with adding more talk and powder would make it… a very sensuelle … fragrance…

Sigh. Why can’t this smell like it used to back when my biggest concern was where I was going out for the night and how big I could get my hair?!

  18. :

Not really getting much out of this; a very light musk smell. Lasts a while on clothes though, and is good for layering.

  19. :

I may be anosomic to the type of musk used in this…with my nose glued to my wrist I can barely recognize a tiny bit of musk even though I just applied it. What little scent I do pick up is a clearly indolic fragrance…I love it and wish I could smell it more strongly. I wear perfumes mainly for myself so I probably won’t wear this one…in order for me to smell it clearly, I’d probably wear so much that I would offend anyone near me!

I can’t believe I could have been so prejudiced for such a long time!
    I’ve finally tried it!
    It’s an amazing, clean smell.
Happy to have the perfumed oil in my collection – the only version available in Brazil.
    Unexpensive and wonderful!

My mother used to wear this all throughout my childhood. For some reason, I was reminded of it and decided to order a bottle for myself after reading some of these amazing reviews. I’m so glad I did. This is GORGEOUS. So warm, soft, and sweet… and NOT in a sickly way, but in the most comforting, cuddly way possible. It smells the same to me as it did when my mom used to wear it… but now I’m 29, and old enough to appreciate how wonderful it really is. Absolutely beautiful! Pure comfort in a bottle!

The first fragrance for me. My eldest sister wore it and it quickly become associated with: independence, freedom, femininity, sexy, and being a ‘woman’ – I didn’t know any better. Haha. But it has such sentimental value now that I cannot be objective!! It is so sweet and warm and musky. But very gentle and cannot offend anyone. This was my signature scent for my late teens and almost all of my 20s. It became like a second skin for me. For me, the longevity is not great but I can still smell faint hints of it on my skin at the end of the day. Throw/sillage is like zero for me – and I like that. Sometimes I want to wear something that is super safe and only for me to enjoy. It’s not complicated – you’re not going to ‘go on a journey’ with this one. But I LOVE it.

I was always a little too scared to say I liked this. It’s nice and all, but it is a tad…wild for me.

I got this cologne in a concentrated version for only $10.00 at Walmart. I wonder how much it cost in the 80s? I was born in 1992 so this perfume does not bring with it any nostalgic memories.
I tried Jovan Musk and White Musk as well. My skin has a tendency to absorb scents and completely alter their composition turning things sweet and powdery. This is not wholly different – Wild Musk smells like sweet baby powder on me, which is a shame because out of the bottle it smells so sexy.
Jovan Musk smells like nothing on me – and White Musk smells like toilet cleaner. Shame, as I’m attracted to the sexy aura of musty scents, but maybe I need to to shell out a bit (well, tons) more for some Shalimar or Opium.

Bought this spray version for layering. Very very light and sweet musk. Has an gentle skin-so-soft scent to it. Lighter than Jovan musk.

I wish I had bought this years ago!
I put this on about 8p and it was still there in the morning.
Potent at first but it becomes more gentle after that and stays the same all throughout the rest of the time. I Love it!

Signature scent for young ladies of the 80’s! Omg, I love this stuff as it charms, invites, and goes with everything. I continued to revisit it but at some point they changed it?..
What the heck happened? It used to last longer, less alcohol. It’s just not like it used to be and its one of my all time favorites and want to still wear it today. Funny, the price sure has gone up for it too.
Maybe I can find a concentrated version online that’s still sealed. I miss their oil too.
Something about a nice musk love

In the 70’s, the babysitters would come over in their platform shoes, carrying their Eagles records, and smelling like Satan. They came over a lot, because my mom had prayer meetings and Bible studies to go to. Sometimes they would let me play with the vials of the carnal, debauched, depraved scent. I’m happy to say I finally have my own bottle of Coty Wild Musk. Am I uninformed and unsophisticated to say that this is my favorite musk? I really don’t care. It sends me!

  30. :

    4 out of 5

Clean white musk with a slight hint of dustiness, earthiness; just enough to add character. A breath of rose petals, and a dash of masculine-lightly-foody spice, like cinnamon by a campfire, very faintly smokey. Mostly clean musk but with a difference; this is both simple and classy.

  31. :

    3 out of 5

Wild Musk is so delightfully ’80s! It’s subtle, sweet and creamy with an animalic suggestiveness, but only just! It’s the quintessential affordable musk scent. The only downside is that it doesn’t project well or last very long, it settles into a skin scent almost immediately, which is a shame.

  32. :

    4 out of 5

I really like this scent but I don’t know if it may be just my bottle but the scent itself is very sticky on my skin. I even tried applying to my clothes and that does not help. It makes my clothes stick to my skin. I don’t know why this is happening. Again I really like this scent but I can’t wear it because once it dries down it feels like glue on my skin. My skin is somewhat dry and no other fragrance behaves like this.

  33. :

I ran out of Jovan Musk, and could not find any in local stores. Decided to try this, since I do well with musks in general.
Very, very light. Can hardly smell it, even layering with the body spray. Which is a shame, because what little I can smell of it would be fantastic if it just had a little more “oomph” to it.
It is warm yet clean smelling, and on my skin there is little trace of floral. Close enough in smell to the Jovan oil that I can probably wear the two together. Not as “powdery” as a lot of the musks you find now days, either. Nor does it seem to have the “citrus” tang that a lot of musk and light musk scents seem to have when I sample them. (Me and Citrus don’t like each other much.)
Much as I love perfume, I am not an expert. I can’t rattle off this note or that note as some of the people posting here can (how I envy them!).
Bottom line, this is a nice, clean close to your skin fragrance. Cheap in price, but not exactly cheap smelling. I wouldn’t put an age range or a gender to this. I think anyone from 13 and up could use this. Not exactly in love with it, but not too disappointed.

I have worn this scent since middle school. It was the first perfume my father bought me, and I still wear it. This is a very classic musk scent that will never go out of style.

  36. :

I would really, really love this if I could smell it for more than, literally, only a few minutes. It really does smell gorgeous, but disappears justlikethat. It could be a good summer scent if a warmer, more humid atmosphere can convince it to stick around for a bit.

Why isn’t this the potent musk you remember? Two words: Nitro Musk! Banned in the US since 1979 they were in most if not all of the old musk oils. Contrary to what some believe “real” musk hasn’t been used in most mainstream fragrance for almost 100 years!
Nitro-musks were once used extensively in perfumery and are now largely prohibited in many countries because they can’t be fully cleaned out by sewage treatment plants and accumulate in fish and such. The kicker is that there is no conclusive proof that they’re actually harmful.
Polycyclic musks are mostly used in fragrance and londry products these days. They far inferior in strength, longevity and odor to the nitro musks.
Macrocyclic musks are also not a good replacement for nitro musks. Although they closely resemble the true scent of real deer (Tonkin) musk, half the human population are anosmic to it. That means there is 50% chance you can’t smell it! EVER! So fragrance companies use several musk chemicals in the hopes that you’ll smell atleast one! So now you know why fragrance can smell so much different between people.
Alicyclic musks I don’t know too much about, their sort of new but from what I’ve heard they are also no match for nitro musks.

Here in Brazil i’ve never actually found the edt/cologne version, only the 5ml Oil (really cheap on drugstores, by the way), so my review is for the extract.
    AWESOME.
Musk and jasmine/rose (more jasmine) together create this after-shower-warm-and-cozy feeling, along with the vanilla on the background.
A friend of mine told me i ‘smelled like a baby after shower’, clean and sweet.
Honestly, i loved it. The longevity is quite good (i dropped it on my wrists before sleeping, and now, 8 hours later, i can still smell it if i touch my wrists with my nose), but the sillage is nonexistent, unfortunately.
I can see this working as a office scent, a romantic dinner scent, even as a signature scent (if only i could find the spray version, for the sillage issues).

Coty’s Wild Musk one of the best smelling scents you can buy in a drug store IMO. It is a warm, creamy musk with a vanillic sandalwood base and subtle floral accents. Initially its got a lot of throw, but then it settles down into a skin scent. If Coty decided to quadruple the concentration and release this as an eau de toilette with decent lasting power, Wild Musk would feature heavily in my rotation. The current formulation has poor lasting power unfortunately. As it is, I use this more has a room spray or to scent my home. I love spraying this on bed linens, or adding a bunch of sprays to my bath water. It still smells wonderful.

I rarely ever write negative reviews but I just have to purge my disappointment. I am also weary of complaints about reformulation of this or that perfume. Now I understand such sentiments . Anyways, at this time I am craving that sensual yet innocent, fresh but naughty essence that was once embodied by the Coty Wild Musk of yore. Sadly it’s gone. I bought the concentrate from Wallmart today and could barely smell it from the bottle. On my skin it was very watered down and more spicy than musky. Reminded me of the Pinaud talcum they sell at barber shops. Quite manly- not even unisex- manly man like a
Lumber Jack he- man on me. Maybe my nose is fried and my chemistry has changed. If your skin is picking up the wonderful musk tone here I envy you. Longevity stunk as well but I guess that’s blessing for me:) I am too cheap and lazy to search on eBay for a pre-formation- if any one could suggest a close cousin to this I would be mighty obliged.

Despite its name this is a very comforting scent. This is the sort of thing I like to wear to bed. It’s cozy. My husband likes this and a few of the other musk fragrances the best. I love the fact that there are several good musk fragrances to choose from among the lower cost crowd. I like this and Jovan Musk. Jovan Musk is the musk we all wore in the hippy era. This is slightly different but remains true to to the musk scent, unlike many of the higher end fragrances that claim to be musk based but are so complicated you can barely tell they are. This is nearly all musk with a bit of floral overlay. A nice product indeed. Kind of a silly name for it unless you think of musk as being wild.

  45. :

    3 out of 5

It is intensively musky: warm, moist, breathing, skin-sheer, just like the smell and vibe if you put your nose quite close to the baby’s head but one thing to be reminded, it might smell a little bit vanilla.
Musk deer is a very timid small creature, slender and get frightened easily so does the scent, it is delicate, sensitive and never tend to conflict with your own skin scent. WILD musk? Not at all. It is everything MILD about musk.
After all, when craving to Musk note for some intimate or solitude occasion, my mind and hand goes to this one, again and again.

I am wearing this as I type, in the context in which I adore it most… in my jammies, after a nice hot shower, after a long day at work… having found supreme comfort.
This is the MUSK I think of when I long for MUSK…which is most of the time. 😉 A good musk, to me, is as beautiful for what it is *not*, as it is beautiful for what it *is*. (How do you like that sentence structure? Haha.)
Perhaps I’ll spare you all my usual abstract long-winded-ness and just list the aspects of musk that I enjoy, and do not enjoy.
    Here goes.
    PERFECT MUSK:
    -Warm
    -Round
    -Skin-like
    NOT-SO-PERFECT MUSK:
    -Powdery
    -Fresh
    -Soapy
I’ve been loving Coty Wild Musk since probably 1987, and for all of the haves and have-nots listed above.
I do not detect jasmine (hallelujah) nor rose… I love rose, but wouldn’t want it in this scent… to me, this is not a place for flowers. This is a place for closeness, for loving contact.
The musk itself is a heavenly warm embrace of velvety skin… is the softest whisper of pleasantly dry sandalwood, which serves to give almost a fireside vibe… but not like smoke, or Christmas… just warm, cozy, intimate, beautiful skin.
I love to mist, let it get to the drydown, and then mist again. Mmmmmmmmmmmm… double drydown
This is good, good stuff, friends. $100 worth of good, good stuff for $11.
If you do not own it, and you love musks, for the love of [insert name of spiritual entity here] buy it!!!

I bought a bottle last Saturday at Target since I was in the mood for a musky fragrance. It’s alright, my Tabu is far more skanky. The longevity isn’t great, and the sillage is maybe elbow-length if that. Nice scent, though. I can smell the jasmine and the sweetness from the vanilla. Not too strong for work or summer. I enjoy it after a shower after work. I may seek out something a bit more powerful…or try some of those “Egyptian Musk” or “Black Musk” type oils.

I remember smelling this as a little girl and I remember thinking it smelled what we call ‘tarty’ in the UK – like a person who sleeps around – not that I knew what a person who slept around smelled like. I remember thinking it smelled cheap but liking it as a guilty pleasure.

  49. :

    5 out of 5

I tried this a few times when I worked at a perfume counter, didn’t like it even though a few men said I smelled good. Unfortunately it is very ephemeral, I always expected a musk to really stay on your skin. Jovan’s White Musk certainly does. I like this better than the original Jovan which I find cloying.
There is a food-like smell here too, cinnamon or Nilla wafers.

I have been on the search for something like this fragrance – or similar to Annack Goutal’s Eau de Ciel. I’m actually looking for a musk blend with sandalwood and coconut, if that it possible. If you know of something, please message me.
This fragrance smells very incredible. I’ve looked and looked for something similar to this – but this is one of a kind.

This review is based upon the spray.
Coty Wild Musk smells a great deal like Jovan Musk, but less sweet and slightly more powdery.
It’s certainly animalic, but in a “daytime” way which is suitable for work when applied discreetly.
I was pleasantly surprised at the “high end of moderate” longevity and sillage, as I was not expecting such a good result with a spray.
I received several compliments and questions about this scent!
I did get a slight indolic note from the jasmine, but just enough to be interesting and earthy, not nasty!

  52. :

I used to wear this and I really liked it. I love musky, earthy scents! I did find it attracted the attention of more women then men. That was okay though; I just liked knowing it was being appreciated : )

I love the oil, not the cologne. It had a deep rich exotic smell. Very warm.

  54. :

Very pretty, not as overpowering as say Jovan Musk. It has a distinct milky note, perhaps from the vanilla, that makes it almost gourmand. Animalistic and sexy indeed but in a demur way.

I was a sixth grader wanting to be a teenager when I wore this as I had seen it advertised in TEEN magazine. I remember a notable amber/musk scent. Earthy, yet appealing to all age types at the time. I’ll probably try testing this again and hopefully like Tabu, it’s one with good silliage.

  56. :

    3 out of 5

I have worn this since the late 70’s and have always preferred the oil due to it’s mystical, erotic richness the cologne has always been missing. There is not much detectable difference upon firstly applying, but as it wears the cologne takes a twist into something that smells like Play-Doh from old time; sour, wrong, icky. My mother insisted on buying the cologne every birthday and Christmas and there is such a vast difference I poured the entire big cologne bottle of that weak, sour stuff in my bath water. The original vintage oil is the only way to go with this extraordinarily sensual, soft, sexy blend. I wonder what type musk they used so I can attempt a dupe since the oil is discontinued and overly priced, though possibly worth it in my opinion. My guess for the musk is a well-hidden civet since it is most common. Still owning an amber round bottle of the oil with a wand in the lid and trying to keep usage to a minimum is wearing me down.
I never understood the cheap/trashy reputation this fragrance has among some. It is a glorious, other-worldly, deliberate undressy (and get undressed) scent while happening to be very pretty, gentle, non-offensive, and classy cool at the same time. I call that a masterful, aphrodisiac blend and probably the reason my mother refused me the oil.
On me, there is not much sweetness and no baby powder at all. It is a punch of pheromonal sexy that is deliciously naughty; not dirty, loud, or raucous (though it could easily lead to that *wink*) It is addictive and yes, “wild”. My nose and skin understands exactly how this scent got its name. I cannot count the number of compliments from both sexes over the years. The men go crazy in an aphrodisiac way for this scent and I will admit to loving it on myself. Of all the scents I love best, this one is the only one the word “sexy” is continually mentioned. I get a lot of “You smell beautiful”, “that smells incredible”, etc. with the others. With Coty Wild, the word “sexy” is used a lot. It is a naked scent even with clothes on. It is a true love potion that will always have my heart. I adore this fragrance and Coty did a superb job creating it.
(Oh, for the love of the pure and finest, rich, raw, silky vintage oil! If anyone has a bottle you don’t care for, please message me. Thank you.:)

I love this stuff; smells a little cheap and unexciting from the bottle cap, but when you spray it on skin.. magic. Warm, sexy, soft.. perfect skin scent.

  58. :

    5 out of 5

This is one of my favorite musks. When I first spray it, it smells like an old school, perfumey musk, so instant love right there. It settles into a soft, powdery, warm skin scent within minutes and stays that way. The only complaint I have is longevity, which is predictably short, considering it’s a cologne spray, current formulation.

  59. :

This perfume is always going to remind me of my mother. I like it myself, but it wears off too quickly on me. Even with that, though, I still love it and will purchase it when the fancy strikes me.
    It’s very mellow, very sweet.

For me Wild Musk is my perfect Floral Woody Musk. It opens with a bit of powder and rose, then quickly settles into an earthy, musky, woody tone with a hint of sweet flowers. This is so nice, a comforting skin scent that brings memories that I can’t place, at $10 a bottle no less.

This was my signature scent growing up and it still is a favorite of mine. I smelled it on a friend and loved it ever since. It became my favorite and I’ve always gotten compliments when I wear it. It smells very sexy and makes you want to walk closer to the person who wears it. Very earthy, sexy, sensual and its not overpowering – it lasts without giving you a headache. I love it. I wish they made a shower gel – I have the bath powder and perfume.

Ah, Coty Wild Musk. A soft, sensual, warm sandalwood-jasmine-rose-amber musk with a tiny hint of sweetness. Too bad the oil has been d/c and the cologne has been dumbed down. If you like the old Coty Wild Musk oil you *must* try Body Time’s Civet Musk oil. I have a feeling many of you would love it. You have to try it! I wonder why there aren’t any Body Time oils on this website. China Rain (the original Jlo Glow), China Musk (the original Tova Signature) and their Egyptian Musk are all great fragrances.

I love a good skin musk.
Wild Musk smells clean, but like clean, warm skin. There is something sexual about this scent without being animalic like indolic white florals, patchouli, civet etc. It has a sort of oily, fatty quality to it. I mean that in the best possible way.
Definitely a lotion/suntan cream kind of scent. I think that a whole generation of people have a fondness for scents that recall tanning oil.

What a beautiful scent. Soft, powdery, feminine. The musk, vanilla and flowers are so well blended that they melt together and become a beautiful skin scent. LOVE….

This scent is comforting and smells more expensive than it really is. It is perfect for evening and just out of the shower freshness!

Clean, baby-powder fresh type scent. This is something that a lot of girls in my area wore in Junior High/High School – and it brings back a more innocent time.
I personally LOVE the smell of this, but I’m very picky– the oil tends to have a much better ability to stay on, than the perfume or light body spray.
I guess the initial impression stuck with me. Since I remember this as a fragrance from my Junior High and HS days… this fragrance brings to mind a very clean, youthful, upbeat, and light mood. It would be perfect in the spring/summer or wearing for casual wear when you want a fragrance that smells like a “just out of the shower” fragrance.
This is a niche’ fragrance. People may turn their nose up at the fact that this is a “drugstore brand” fragrance, but honestly… if you really smell this with the right chemistry… the essence of this is heavenly… almost angelic! Who cares where you purchase something, as long as it blends incredibly well with your individual body chemistry.
I’ve smelled this on a couple of women and it is truly one of the best smelling “just out of the shower, baby powder-type fragrances”. Love this!
If you ever come across anything that smells like this, or even in this same ball park– PLEASE MESSAGE ME! I’d love to find a long-wearing fragrance with similar notes to this.
This is sheer heaven! Love the notes and light up-beat resonance of this particular fragrance!

One of my all time favorite fragrances. The cologne spray is nice, but the oil is simply perfection to me. It layers very well with other fragrances, and just nice on it’s own. It is casually sexy, not out to grab your attention. While it’s not a sillage monster, neither the oil nor the cologne spray wear close to the skin for me. Maybe it’s my application. I just love, love, love this oil. I’m also thankful to those that gifted me their’s when it didn’t work out for them.

I found a gift set of this in my mom’s cupboard when I was a kid, didn’t think much of fragrances back then so I’d just put it on without any thought, now here I am, slowly getting to know the fragrance world. Recently I came across the mini sample from the gift laying around in my mom’s room. Picked it up and tried it just for the feel of it, and I just loved it, sweet soft and elegant like a lady in her late 20s or early 30s wearing a nice dress walking alongside her equally handsomely dressed man, not caring much about what is going around her, just glistening in the thoughts of her own world.
On that note I’d say that it can easily be pulled off by a guy in a suit, with a bit of pride in his stride. Groomed and classy guy with that hint of wild side showing (like a beard, but a beard that has been cared for) and a I don’t give a s**t attitude. Well I as a guy like to wear it for one and people known to me who catch whiffs of it compliment me.

This smells very badass, like what my neighborhood friend’s biker mom would wear on date nights back in the ’80s. It smells musky, womanly, and a little bit like hops–in other words, it smells like the queen of the dive ba
