I like this scent! Fresh, warm and clean. I don’t know that I want to smell like laundry all the time, but sometimes it works. It doesn’t smell lemony to me at all.

Smells like clean laundry. A fresh, clean scent for when you want to project being fresh and clean to people. Refreshing in hot summer.

“Smells of laundry detergent and cotton.” Well duh, that’s why it’s called Warm Cotton.:) For those not familiar with CLEAN, their products aren’t like traditional perfumes. Their scents are clean (ha) and fresh smelling like freshly laundered clothes, or freshly cleaned skin coming straight from the shower or bath for examples. They’re meant to prolong those fresh scents after leaving the house and also to be able to refreshen during the day. Some people don’t necessarily like the smell of perfume, but like the smell of products they use to bath with or wash and dry their clothes. Others work in professions where strong perfumes are banned. This company caters to that with their products.
This scent does indeed smell like warm cotton fresh from the dryer complete with laundry detergent and fabric softener and settles into a warm musk on the skin. Very relaxing and comforting and in no way offensive. For me, this scent is very concentrated, so a little goes a long way. Can be worn day or night in any season. Longevity is excellent. Great to layer with other scents.
What I learned recently is the Reserve line of CLEAN products works with farmers in underdeveloped countries so they can be sustainable. The packaging is recycled and a portion of the proceeds from the sale of these Reserve products goes back into the program that educate and helps these farmers. So you can buy with a good conscience because you’re helping someone by giving them a livelihood for them to feel good about.

Okay, folks are hating on this and that’s their prerogative. Would I spend a ton of money on this, no, but that’s true of any perfume for me. I am a bargain hunter and I know that paying retail for perfume is silly. I got this in a set of mini rollers for less than $20.00. It does smell like fresh, clean cotton on a sunny day. The iconic summer breeze smell, but I get this fun little sweetness that reminds me of Viva La Juicy too! Sounds like an odd combination, but the fresh and sweet work imho.

Laundry that is freshly washed and dried up in the sunshine or in a drier full of bounce sheets . That’s all it smells like. And to smell like you just picked your laundry a few minutes ago you must pay $130+tax. (100 ml bottle in Sephora ). Who are they kidding ?

I bought this as a set of 5 rollerballs. I don’t like it on its own. It smells like fabric softener sheets on bedding that’s hanging outside on the clothes line, or like clothes smell while you’re ironing them with spray starch.
BUT – layered over Clean’s Sueded Oud, it’s wonderful! The combination of those 2 just works for me. I love Sueded Oud on its own, but layered with a touch of Warm Cotton it softens and somehow brightens. And, without Sueded Oud, Warm Cotton is just not for me. The addition of Sueded Oud takes that laundromat edge off the Warm Cotton and somehow makes it smell more expensive and luxe.

I tried it at sephora and liked it,turns out I had sprayed several perfumes, and the pretty scent wasnt Clean Cotton
found I had a mini bottle home..upon trying it again, this is a blast of aldehydes, and very detergent like..not for me, too dry, too clean, nothing smooth or warm about it..truth is I dont like clean scents, and this is very much a dryer sheet imitation..far from the best in the Clean line, not pretty in my opinion, and very much a unisex scent..not even that, plainly not smelling like a perfume to me..I agree with other reviewers that it is too much detergent like, not in a good way,.

Outstanding Fragrance ! I haven’t received that many compliments in some time ,,,it leaves a trail of fresh laundry behind you and people start asking you what you are wearing left and right. If you are looking for a clean laundry smell look no further. I finally found the perfect one. I have been looking for so long for that exact smell however this is better than I could have dreamed of.
The beginning is quite strong and is truly like smelling into a liquid pot of laundry soap ( exert for warm cotton is even better than any I personal tried ) and from then on it gets better and better ,,,, the scent gets very strong , stays strong and fresh for hours upon hours and at night when you think it should be gone it still surrounds you with freshness. It’s gets warmer toward the end with more musk and a hint of amberette and woods , still super fresh and doesn’t change a lot but gets more cuddly toward the end rather than super clean and fresh. This scent is one of the best I know in its cathegory,and moved to my top shelf !

The opening is Febreeze with the dry down being fabric softener. The scent is truly unisex, as cleean laundry has no gender. Ifyou ever wanted to wear dryer sheets as a scent, this one is for you.

I thought it was going to get more floraly because the label on the bottle said “floral aldehydic” but there is no development.
It was a linear laundry detergent scent throughout the entire 6~7 hour wear time. After a full day, the scent remaining on my clothes does smell like fresh laundry.
As others have pointed out, it’s a concentrated-laundry-detergent-straight-from-the-bottle smell. Not the warm-and-fuzzy-towels-fresh-out-of-the-dryer kind.
At least there are no surprises. You get what you sniff at the store.

Smells more like cooling laundry then warm, as if I left my clean laundry sitting in a basket on a the cold ground while I clean the rest of my home on a spring/summer Sunday. It’s the kind of scent I want my pillows to smell like, simple, very fresh, and comfy, but I’m not sure if it’s a scent I want to be associated with.

Concentrated laundry detergent.
I do not always hate clean soapy fragrances, but I might hate this one. It smells exactly like the powdered laundry detergent I used to buy from laundromat vending machines. Not the scent it leaves on the clean laundry, though. More like if you just stick your nose right over the open box of detergent. I get the impression that was their goal, so well done I guess, but I can’t imagine wanting to smell like this. Just a single spray on my wrist from my sample bottle, and my eyes are watering and my nose stings!

Surprised by the notes listed…I get none of them! While it does remind me of laundry it reminds me MORE of Sunlight dish detergent. On me its PURE lemon. Odd.

Laundry! Just clean clothes and sheets fresh out of the dryer. I would just spray my favorite laundry freshener on whatever I’m wearing. Feels strange to wear perfume that smells like this.
