It might be a clean fragrance but it was sharp and chemical on my skin. I was waiting for the honey as per the other reviews but it never appeared. It was harsh and not for me. Try before you buy.

I adore a good linden fragrance, and Waltz does not disappoint. This was a blind buy from Hautelook when they had TM frags on sale, and I bought solely based on the notes. Happy to report it’s exactly what I thought it would be – linden-forward, an airy and cheery perfume that’s perfect for hot weather. It’s a floaty summer dress in liquid form.
So yeah, it’s a fresh, clean (but I don’t find it soapy) floral with decent sillage. I don’t get a ton of lasting power from most Tokyomilk fragrances. This one goes for a couple of hours, tops. That’s my only complaint, really… so pretty!

I’ve had a decant of this for some time, and this morning, decided to use up the last couple of sprays.
It’s not a fragrance that worked for me in cool weather, being almost cloying in the cold. But in the heat, it works beautifully. Yes, that might sound backward, but it’s what I found.
The honey and florals, though light, are certainly not weak. A couple of sprays will stay with you noticeably for several hours. You must like springy, and somewhat animalic florals though.
The honey and musk are what save this from being blaze and typical. Tokyo Milk is a wonderfully underrated house that I want to explore more. Their fragrances are excellent quality, and I find the longevity quite good, especially on clothing.
I can imagine wearing this on a windy day. Beautiful.

Spring has been captured! This is a happy, light fragrance that has such an uplifting floral scent. The honey gives this perfume a lovely sweetness evoking daydreams of honeybees gathering around an apiary on beautiful, sunny day. It is reminiscent of my best friend’s English garden at the dawn of Spring. Flowers blooming, birds singing, listening to Pachelbel…this embodies the feeling of Waltz 14.

another pretty fragrance by TM, somewhat like Sencha Blue Nol 57, but I like this one better. pretty, green, and lightly floral scent with minimal longevity.

This is beautiful. It’s like walking into a rainy flower garden, and it’s quickly becoming one of my favorite spring/summer fragrances. It’s fresh, but still warm and sweet. I think the name and the artwork on the bottle are very appropriate for this scent, because you can almost imagine yourself walking outdoors in a Jane Austen-esque gown when you smell it. TokyoMilk produces so many fantastic fragrances, but as usual, my complaint is with the longevity. Every TM perfume I own fades very quickly.

Takes a while to settle down, but overall very wearable, strong linden (almost overpowers other notes but eventually they find balance) – definitely a recommendation for hot, hot, HOT weather, this will be delightful in the height of summer stickiness

It is SO sugary at first, way too much linden-honey soap. It settles down (thanks God!) and becomes wonderful, sweet linden blossom fragrance. Really great early spring perfume for ladies which are not frightened of sweet scents.
I am so surprised it is considered as unisex… No way man could or should smell like this! It is very honeyed, feminine and comforting fragrance.
    EDIT:
I´m using this perfume now in hot summer day… i must say it works SO much better in heat! The synthetic note fades in heat, it becomes natural, sweet linden, wisteria and honey.

I am in love with this fragrance. Clean, delicate and somewhat heady at the same time. The headyness fades quickly and becomes a true to life floral scent, which I can’t get enough of! I know rose is in there, but it’s not very prominent to my nose. I get wisteria, linden, and something like hyacinth with a mellow musk undertone. Spring in a bottle. And to all the other powdery perfume haters out there, rejoice!!! Not one whiff of powder! The only bad thing I can say is that it only lasts 1-2 hours on my skin. Solution? At $30 it’s affordable enough to buy an extra bottle to keep in my desk at work 🙂

(reviewed on 4.29.11) Spring has officially sprung in the greater metropolitan Boston area: the trees which envelop my third-floor apartment on all sides finally burst their green buds to reveal leaves, and the cherry blossoms appear to have arrived at the very same instant, brilliantly white, outside the window in my bedroom closest to my bed. Beauty abounds! The sky was cerulean blue with not a cloud in the sky when I set out this morning (well, my morning…) to buy a slew of leafy greens and other scrumptious produce from the ultimate grocery store, which I refer to affectionately as The Basket. And as though specifically designed to make this day picture perfect, I was wearing Tokyo Milk WALTZ (no. 14), a lovely floral perfume which is basically synonymous with spring in a bottle!
Linden blossom, wisteria, and rose mingle together in this pretty big floral fragrance (not quite a BFF, but close…). I love linden blossom, so the very fact that it is so dominant in this composition naturally brings a smile to my face. What I didn’t know is that I actually like wisteria, which I have not fully appreciated in some of the other perfumes in which it figures that I’ve hand a chance to try. But linden blossom is definitely the star of the show in WALTZ, a veritable dance of floral notes totally evocative of spring.
I was the lucky winner of this bottle in Janudy’s contest some time ago—and a happy one as well! Anyone who likes linden should give this perfume a try. It reminds me somewhat of Bond no 9 FASHION AVENUE, although here wisteria replaces the mimosa. But both boast a hefty does of linden and are super nice and uplifting floral perfumes. WALTZ might be a touch more innocent and casual, and a bit less perfume-y, but it’s quite nice in its own way. Floral lovers rejoice!

This is a clean, delicate, refreshing floral. I hesitated to try it at first because I already have a sweet-rose-and-something fragrance, but this is a a bit of a departure from that vein mostly due to the linden. It has a crisp, cool, almost clean-cotton kind of scent to it, which is accented by the white musk at the base. The sweetness of the rose and wisteria kind of play around that, and to my mind it’s a nice balance. Probably best for younger women as it’s still very sweet, but there’s enough polish to it that I can wear it to the office.
