This is my all time favourite night perfume. I got my first bottle around the year 2009. Its the most adored fragrance I have ever owned. Its a shame Miller Harris has discontinued this one in the process of streamlining their portfolio and switching outstanding unique world class products for more mainstream ones. I did not find a replacement in ten years for this fragrance which comes anywhere close to what this scent has to offer. And I’ve tried hard!
Its not a beginners fragrance. 99 % of buyers won’t even like it or recognize its value in the store. You need to be patient to understand this one. Talking about days, not seconds. It smells really bold in the shop. I remember I went several times back then, again and again. First I was laughing about it, because it was soo different, soo rough and rich and deep, complex but straight in your face. I could not imagine this would fit the young-me back then. The more often I went to the shop trying it though, the more I dug it. Despite the high price tag for a student back then, I realized this is the one scent I would need atop anything else. Purely masculine. Tobacco, smoke, leather and the richest and purest vetiver you can imagine. Rich and deep that it still inspires me today and leaves me pondering of what components actually I do smell. It stays mysterious forever. No words do it justice.
Despite its bold onset, you will rewarded by a jaw dropping experience in the following night. Its just sexual on the skin. Not anywhere bold. Just pure bliss. Masculine still. No guarantee this works on every skin though. I have once smelled it on a female friends skin of mine – it did not work on her skin.
Nowadays I have just left a few sprays in the bottle, saving them for special occasions to the next decade. I can only encourage Lyn Harris to bring this masterpiece back to the market! I really like body67’s review, but I disagree to the fact the even Etro Vetiver and Les Nez are nowhere close to a replacement to me for this scent.
Admiring, blessed and humble I do stand in front of that universe in a flask.

I can’t find this fragrance on amazon or on eBay. Neither can I find it on many perfume websites. How come that it os so rare? Does it also have another name?

This one surprised me. I like to spray a little on my clothes the night before I wear it. When I sprayed, it smelled like nothing, At most, a light citrus note. Shame. Ah, but to awake with the scent and then with some on me, it transformed into something entirely different. All of the notes came alive. Pleasant surprise. To me citrus=sport and vetiver=encre.
