Pretty sure this is discontinued now. I am devastated. It was my go to daily perfume. I kept it in my bag and would touch up when I would finish work. They have replaced it with some other boring typical vanilla cookie/candle type smell. The amber was the key to making this much more wearable.

I love this smell, it’s very warming and comforting.
To me it smells like spiced rum – the vanilla is obvious without being overwhelming or too sweet, as it’s balanced out by the almond and a darker note that I don’t know the name of, but makes me think of woody and brown.
As others have said, it’s true that it fades very quickly, which is a great shame. However, I keep my bottle in my desk at work to use as a pick-me-up during the day and it does the trick!

I like this one, but I was expecting too much maybe with such a name. Not that I expected to smell real amberbris, of course, but still it’s a little bit disappointing on that side.
It smells like good homemade cookies then fades away and you’re left only with a faint vanilla, not the candy synthetical one anyway. Good enough.

variazioni sul tema dell’ambra: stavolta in accordo con vaniglia, mandorla e mimosa. nonostante si tratti di un profumo bio, ha una buona persistenza. nell’insieme molto caldo e confortevole, bello!

I kept sampling this scent at Whole Foods and finally bought a bottle.
It reminds me of Annick Goutal Vanille Exquise,a softer version of CSP Vanille Extreme and a gentler version of Warm Vanilla Sugar.Vanille Ambree is definitely in the same pantheon.
This is a spicy, creamy, soft and sweet fragrance. It doesn’t overpower or project loud and boisterous. It settles close the skin and truly is comforting like the description says.
I like that its chemical free and very gentle.I will purchase again.

I smell like cookies when I put this on or just like vanilla sugar which for me it isn’t a bad thing. It does have a woody (slightly) and powdery smell to it, especially at the base; smells like face powder/makeup too (this is not necessarily a good thing because it has a ‘granny perfume’ feel in my opinion).
I like it because I like the smell of vanilla, I kind of like powdery scents, it’s not flowery, it feels kind of oriental, it is not girlish, nor fresh and it is sharp/spicy enough; it is sweet without being joyful or light-more of a serious kind of sweetness that I apreciate in a perfume (like the sweetness in a for men/unisex perfume)and it does have some power to it, not a romantic perfume, but more on the sexy kind side- and it is intoxicating enough…not very interesting though…probably I would have liked a boozy note in there on top…I don’t like how it smells on clothes, very old-like, but on the skin is different.

Very basic, genuine vanilla fragrance that reminds me of Havana Vanille by L’Artisan. It’s all natural and smells like actual vanilla pod. It also has a milky-almond note and some warm ambery notes (although nothing too dark). Overall this is a very warm, cozy, milky fragrance for vanilla lovers. It evokes a soft blanket on a rainy evening. Not the most original creation, but I don’t think it’s trying to be that. Instead it’s trying to comfort us with a well known, delicious smell.

Comforting mix of vanilla, almond and amber. Warm and blanket like. Somehow I get the same feeling as with Prada Candy, sweet and warm scent that stays close to skin.

Ok, I get amber and cardamon. That’s pretty much it. Not long lasting – totally gone within a few hours. It’s an ok fragrance, nothing too exciting. But I was totally hoping for more and am disapointed in the lack of longevity. Since I got my sample direct from Acorell and they just wrote “amber” with a Sharpie on the vial, I assume that is the Vanille Ambree sample as I ordered. But who knows?

Acorelle VANILLE AMBREE opens with a bit of an amaretto scent–I do not catch the mimosa–and then quickly evolves into a vanilla patchouli with a smooth and creamy quality apparently imparted by the peru balsam.
This all-natural, organic line appealed to me as a break from the so many very synthetic and mass-produced lines around that clearly spend far more on package (especially marketing) than product. I am impressed with the quality of this blend and do feel that it is entirely devoid of any scrub-inducing elements whatsoever. Acorelle explicitly vaunts the aromatherapeutic benefits associated with the essential oils used in each of their blends. Peru balsam is said to combat fatigue; patchouli serves to stimulate the body; and bitter almond acts as a muscle relaxant. (hmmm… isn’t there a contradiction in there somewhere?…)
I would not say that this particular composition is all that original, but it is very pleasant, and I recommend it to those who appreciate vanilla patchouli fragrances. VANILLE AMBREE has good staying power and sillage in the edp.
