Description

Valentino launches a new edition of the Valentina collection. In April 2015, Valentina Pink, a new floral-fruity-gourmand scent, comes out. The collection includes the original Valentina from 2011, Valentina Assoluto from 2012, Valentina Acqua Floreale from 2013, Valentina Oud Assoluto from 2013 and Valentina Rosa Assoluto from 2014.

Valentina Pink is a cheerful and energetic scent that opens with fruity accords of strawberries and blackberry musk. The heart is dominated by rose—there are May rose, Centifolia rose, rose buds and peony. The base is composed of cashmere, amber and pralines. The composition is signed by Daphne Bugey and Fabrice Pellegrin.

The fragrance is available in an opaque pink bottle as 50 ml Eau de Parfum, limited edition.

This is really really nice…. Blackberries and roses and strawberries, not too sugary like a jam but slightly sour in a really enjoyable way! I’d love a full bottle but the price has me a bit shook.. As in I have a few for similar prices that I’d prefer to invest in, over this one. One day maybe!

An ideal berry mix which is not so simple as someone may think. It opens up with very natural juicy strawberry and blackberry and then turns into vine/liquor flavor, which slowly gets a vintage lipstick taste. When it opens up completely it settles down as a berry desert. Very delicious, but not cheap smelling or childish at all!

Severe disappointment for me. All I smell is some sharp, almost astringent citrusy tea scent that morphs into the smell of hand wipes. I’m wondering if I got the wrong sample sent to me or something because this smells nothing like fruit of any kind nor is it sweet. Second let down from the Valentina line so far…

This is the perfect blend of roses and turtle candies. The only thing keeping it from being a love is it’s weakness. I know there are a lot of weaklings out there right now but this is by far the worst. It’s too bad. Such a shame BC this is truly beautiful.

It’s a little creed spring flower vibe.. I like it.. nice fun sexy youthful parfum.

Three words: STRAWBERRY FIELDS FOREVER!! Always a delectable treat wearing this one. Initial spray for me is the dominant strawberries mixed with the raspberries. Drydown is the best as I still get the strawberry mixed with a hint of roses and the soft praline note. This one is a charmer for sure, one to consider for a happy day.
I initially got a 5 ml bottle of this as I thought it was too sweet for my liking. On my first whiff, I knew I had to get the gorgeous pink bottle for my collection.
I also love layering this one with the original Miss Dior Cherie (2005), for me it gives added depth to that distinct strawberry and buttery popcorn goodness. They’re perfect together!!

Tried this today and I think all I can smell is Peonies and I really can’t stand the smell of Peonies, so for me this perfume is a big dislike.

So strawberryish that it colours my world with strawberry filled donuts and pink cotton candy. I love having it on girly playful days. Bottle is sweet to look at because its just exudes cuteness, and makes me cherish the beautiful bright pink.

I absolutely love this! It’s very sweet, but imo it is sweetness with some depth. I think the rose, praline and fruits work really well together. The last time I wore this I could smell it a decent amount of time on myself. Very happy to have this in my collection.

Turkish Delight Praline hidden in a beautiful bottle. Sweet and cheerful scent full of raspberries and roses. Love from the first sight 🙂

I bought this for the strawberry note, but unfortunately, I don’t get much strawberries from this…
All I get is tart berry rose jam! Not necessarily strawberries, but some sort of sour berry!
It smells nice on my skin, I love the rose there. If the rose wasn’t there, I would’ve had to get rid of it. It doesn’t smell great in my hair though!

Starts off strong with a sparkle of juicy fruits! Strawberry and blackberry dance together in a pink and purple jazz number. Even from the beginning, there is a distinct cosmetic note in Valentina Pink, which gives it an edge. It’s not your average fruity fragrance. It’s got this vinyl vibe, as if you left a strawberry Lip Smacker balm in a makeup bag. As it dries down it gets a bit muskier, but keeps it’s juicy flavor.
It smells in the same vein as Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming, but a little more subtle and deep, where AB is loud, zingy and fresh.
I love a good fruity fragrance when it’s crafted uniquely and carefully, and I get that from Valentina Pink. It’s a great choice when you want to feel young and sweet, but with a darker, mysterious side.

This is a nice fragrance. The opening is a strong strawberry, followed by a creamy musk and later a very shy praline. I also get a bit of rose.
This one is for people who like very fruity perfumes, but want something a bit more elegant. It is very girly and pink, but could be worn by someone on her mid 20’s.
I am not a fan of berries, specially not strawberry, but here they’re nicely done. It doesn’t smell synthetic, cheap or childish.
I think this is a nice fragrance for going out with your girlfriends and having fun.
I must say, the Valentina line is very well made. All fragrances i tested from this line were good.

I fell in love with this the second I smelled it in Singapore airport….and I ended up buying it as soon as I got on the plane. It’s so beautiful. I would bathe in it if I could.

I get rose, peony, and berries. Overall sweet, girly fragrance, good choice for teenagers, if somebody is looking for something more mature NARciso Rodriguez fleur musc » makes good option, the last has rose and peony mixed with musk!!
Another option is Chloe roses without the gourmand charecter.
    Longevity 6/10
The bottle is really beautiful though!

Fell in love with this and had to buy a bottle, even though the sales associate tried to talk me out of it by insinuating I was too old and not the target market. But love is love, and I wanted to smell of the beautiful sweetness and musky dry-down of Pink. It is strong but not overbearing and lasts for 6+ hours on me.

Lots of berries and rose and slightly raspy musk. Genuinely sweet and coy and nice. No vanilla, but tender and caramelly amber. If you want sweet, this is the way to go.

Incredibly hard hitting blackberry. I didn’t get much strawberry at all.
It begins very sweet, but settles somewhat. The roses are quite powdery, it reminds me a little of YSL Parisienne, it has a sweet makeup bag smell.
Overall, not bad, very long lasting.

Valentina In Pink is a sweet, candied strawberry fragrance packaged in a super-girly, hot pink bottle. The kind of fragrance a real-life Barbie doll would wear and own.
This flanker is not nearly as demure as the original Valentina nor as sophisticated. Valentina In Pink is playful and quite juvenile, the scent almost reminiscent of The Body Shop’s strawberry scented range, the soap in particular.
Whilst I would never personally purchase a fragrance like Valentina In Pink, I must admit that it has many mood boosting properties. I feel like a teenager again whenever I wear it, like the young girl I once was, dressed in pink and obsessed with Britney Spears.
Towards the heart and base there is a hint of jammy roses and chocolatey praline that adds some depth to the composition, but for the most part Valentina In Pink smells of sugary, fruity berries and white musk.
Despite being a 2015 limited edition, Valentina In Pink appears to have now been re-released alongside the new Valentina Blush. This flanker is once again gracing the shelves and will be a big seller all thanks to its striking pink bottle and somewhat generic strawberry scent.

Valentina lovers, this perfume is currently for sale online at Nordstrom so it looks like it’s in production again. I had resorted to hoarding a few bottles when it was limited edition.
I have never been a big flowery fruity fragrance lover, having been handed down a bottle of Samsara by an aunt as a teenager it was my signature scent for the longest. Then I fell in love with Lush’s Rose Jam bodywash and saw that Pink was recommended as a familiar. Having tried Rose Jam perfume and being disappointed, I took a risk and bought Pink as a blind buy after reading and watching reviews. And I am not disappointed. I like this Better than rose jam! It has more of a vanilla -y caramel undertone and lacks that citrus vibe that rose jam has that makes it smell so ugly on me. This is now one of my daily scents, perfect for the office but sweet and sexy an innocent way. I hope some dupes go into production so i can spray my pillow and wear it to bed. I’ve read the reviews and comparisons and my opinion is thst it smells closer to Miss Charming but with more musk and caramel. I like them both.

This just in (because I don’t trust this to stay too long in the “Reminds me of” section): I just tested Fleur Musc by the one and only Narciso Rodriguez, and I couldn’t believe just how much it reminded me of Valentina Pink!
Sure, Fleur Musc lacks the strawberry and blackberry notes, but it’s also a semi-sweet concoction of roses, peonies, amber and (of course) musk. So, drop by your local NR counter if you miss this Valentino creation – OR if Valentina Pink was just too… pink for your taste!

Strawberry and rosewater essence are the superstars of this blend. The rosewater smell gives this perfume an orienral twist, that opposes strawberry as a western note–during the opening stage.
For me, the smell didn’t present itself seriously, or it couldn’t give me a lasting impression. Nonetheless, the drydown is pleasant for a casual wear in a relaxed day.

I was born in May,maybe that’s the reason why I like flowers and strawberries and the best strawberries and flowers are grown in May. Valentina Pink is all about these two elements in a delicate, sweet and feminine combination. I think it’s the best of valentina series I’ve tried so far, but it’s a pity that it’s been launched as a limited edition. It’s already getting hard to buy it in stores, but with a 80 ml bottle in my hand, I’m not gonna run out of it in near future.
Even though it starts with a fruity blast, it’s more complicated than your usual fruity scent. I can’t call it a pure rose scent either. I think I smell some patchouli. Amber is definitely there without having to wait for the dry down. Praline, one of my favorite notes, is also there to make it sweet and more romantic in a way. It reminds me of Miss Dior series, not by the smell, but by the concept I get from it.
I’ve always admired these beauty bottles of valentina and the color of this one is just awesome and matches the scent very well.

I get a delicious blast of berries with sweet jammy roses in the heart. I wanted this when it was available and kick myself for not grabbing it when I passed the Valentino store in SF that day….in the rain. Damnit. It’s a fun, young, light hearted but not childish gourmand.

On me this smells like nothing but roses that’s it. I tried so hard to smell the strawberries and praline but nope just roses. That would be cool if that’s what I was going for. It’s not bad longetivity is good but ROSES.

This one smells to me very similar to Ange ou Demon Le Secret Elixir from Givenchy, maybe it’s my body chemistry but I felt disappointed because I was expecting something different to anything I already own, It’s a nice and pretty sweet fragrance so I will wear it anyway.

Lovely pink pink pink! perfume. Truly delightful. I smell mostly beautiful roses, and peony, which are heavenly, then the luscious fruit and musk and amber and praline, and I also think I can smell patchouli (it does have a gentle spicy/herby smell), which I love. It’s a lovely lovely perfume – not too sweet for me, not at all cloying – there’s a lovely freshness; it’s very rosy, and delightful. I love rose, and it is gorgeous in Valentina Pink. I really love it.
It lasts for easily 14 hours, and the sillage is soft but I’ve received so many compliments from all sorts of people who say how gorgeous I smell, and they’ve been a few feet away at the time. It’s gentle, soft, but also quite rich, very feminine and comforting. I love it.
And I adore the bottle!! Such a gorgeous colour and sweetheart shape; I love the rose on it! It’s really perfect for me. Beautiful!!!

I like it. It is smells very “pink”. It is what I imagine Barbie might choose for herself. I bought it as smells like Lush Rose Jam which I see people have taken away the smells like. Having lucked into a bottle of Rose Jam, I can say that these are different, but evoke similar feelings in me. Of the two, I think this one is a bit easier to wear and to carry off than Rose Jam. There is a space in the fragrance which isn’t present in Rose Jam, which smells very dense to me.

I am ten years old and this was my first ever perfume. I LOVE IT! My mum loves it to. This perfume is so amazing and it is my favourite perfume out of all 7. Whenever i where it i feel so happy its just so hard to get upset when you’re wearing it.
I have to admit this is just so good. I kind of wish that yhis was a dessert, it would taste so delicious!!! To be honest my mum did smell it before me and she said that it was really hard to give it to me as a present.
this perfume smells like strawberry bubblegum, so me being the biggest sweet tooth in the house, i just love it!!!!!!! it doesnt only smell like strawberry bubblegum, sweet candy. I sometimes pick up a small flower scent in it too. whenever I wear this I tend to be in such a happy mood. No matter what i would never give this perfume up. it is my favourite perfume and i can tell that it is going to stay that way for a long time to come.

I got a sample a year ago, set it aside…life got busy and I accidentally forgot about it. When I finally tested it just recently, I realized I love this one so much, it almost feels like a guilty pleasure!!!
It was also like a revelation. Now I understand what people mean when they say “jammy rose”! For me, this is a jammy, fruity, sweet and juicy rose scent. But that’s not all. The strawberry and blackberry are so prominent and so persistent, and they make the scent gourmand! The strawberry is most noticeable at the start and smells so youthful, it makes me feel happy and uplifted. It doesn’t exactly smell like a real strawberry on my skin, maybe a little artificial but easily identifiable as strawberry! The musk is light and plays a supporting role, but it was not clearly identifiable to me and I would not describe the scent as musky.
The blackberry…oh, the blackberry…it is so pronounced, so deep and round, so divine, it is present from first spray and lasts all the way into the distant dry down. It smells realistic to me. This is the real star of the scent, along with the luscious, deep rose (but I do not smell peony). And finally, the amber, praline, and cashmere wood are all essential on my skin chemistry to help create a deeper, more seductive base without overshadowing the union of blackberry and rose. Otherwise, it would feel like a thin fruity-floral to me.
Longevity on my skin was impressive, around 8 hours which is twice as long as usual for me, but there was a desire to reapply early and often due to the uplifting top notes and big sillage at the start of the fragrance. It becomes more like a radiating skin scent after a few hours, as the base notes really warm up the blackberry and rose.
I like it best in mild autumn weather. Hot weather kills the composition, and somehow makes certain notes disappear too quickly. Too much cold doesn’t allow the scent to open up and radiate their warmth. I am learning I like berry and stone-fruit notes in autumn, where they smell richer to me against the seasonal backdrop of dry grass and freshly-dropped leaves and crushed needles from the trees.
So, I am left wondering…Why on earth is this limited edition?! This is such an exquisitely well-done gourmand scent! It doesn’t smell juvenile, but it satisfies the need to feel youthful and optimistic again. It also doesn’t smell cheap, sharp, synthetic, or incomplete as a composition. Additionally, my husband, who is more likely to say that a perfume is just “okay” or “nice” on me, gave this one his total approval without any hesitation.

Smells of sweet cup cake to me. Very nice and pleasant fragrance. Smells of a cup cake with sweets on top. I like it but wouldn’t pay the high price tag for what it is. Though it is a lovely mouthwatering fragrance and the bottle is to die for!
Would gladly accept it as a gift and would use it!

This is now on the top of my rose scents. I didn’t expect to love this more than all the other cheap, niche and high end roses I’ve tried, in hunt of the best rose jam perfumes. Even my picky boy approved. This one is a tangy sweet rasp/strawberry marrying perfectly with the intense deep rose. The sweetness is strictly fruity and not vanilla or such. The tang of the berries further support the tartness of the rose. Lovely. After a while the berries remind me of the strawberry in old Miss Dior Cherie. It’s definitely gourmand, but you can argue about the “edible” part, you should probably not swallow this bubble gum with questionable ingredients…
For a less sweet, more grown up and more natural rose jam, go for Attar de Roses by Keiko or maybe La Fille de Berlin by Serge Lutens. For a deeper, warmer rose jam, go for cinnamony Yves Rocher Rose Absolue or resinous Rose Flash. Une Rose Vermeille has more of a vanilla/doll head scent.

At least for a year now I’ve been looking for a perfect happy-go-lucky perfume – aka something that’s easy to wear and makes you happy for no reason, something that just smells GOOD and that’s it. No grand statements, no big background story, just plain joy. A pink bubble to live in. And this Valentina definitely is all of the above – especially pink.
Valentina Pink (or any happy-go-lucky perfume, for that matter) isn’t something I would normally choose, but hey, everyone’s got needs… In this case it’s a need to step out of your zone and into a comfort zone, once in a while!
I was a bit worried of that bubblegum note everyone’s been telling / warning about, but luckily that passed in a matter of minutes, and turned into this fluffy “strawberries and whipped cream” dessert scent (that by the way reminded me distantly of the dry down of Angel Sucree, meringue meets red berries). The structure of Valentina Pink then reminded me also of Beyoncé’s original Heat fragrance – not that the scent was same, per se, but I knew immediately that there was something familiar about the mixture of musk and sweetness, amber and fruity notes.
The berry and floral notes are no way natural smelling here, but that’s the whole beauty of it! I have no idea why, but I enjoy tremendously how perfectly these “imperfect” notes are blended together. The notes just blend into each other, seamlessly. Roses and chocolate, strawberries and blackberries (luckily not too over-the-top here, like they sometimes tend to be), amber to musk…
No, Valentina Pink is not ground breaking, earth shattering, what have you, but it’s easy and it’s fun, and most importantly it’s perfect in its naivety, simplicity and linearity. I’m feeling much more happy-go-lucky already, ha!
(I also need to point out that despite its general… pinkness, for a lack of better word, Valentina Pink stays classy throughout its cycle. The scent never turns into this cheap smelling, sugar-watery mess most of the “sweet and easy” fragrances – you know what I’m talking about! – do.)
Earlier I was telling my friend, that “I’ve finally found it! The perfect perfume to wear on days when I paint my nails pink and blow soap bubbles, wear a nice dress and eat those Marie Antoinette -pastries, all day long, without a care in a world!” What I got was a long hard stare and comment of “Were you just trying to describe yourself? That doesn’t sound like you at all!”
She’s right. That’s not me. Valentina Pink doesn’t suit me at all. But it suits perfectly the person I never grew up to be, and that’s a good side of yourself to visit, every now and then.

This is a fun one! It’s so girly! Fizzy, sweet rose. Not anywhere near as fizzy as Montale Rose Elixir. This one is much softer and more timid, this can be a good or bad thing depending on personal preference. I can sort of see the connection to Rose Jam bodywash but this perfume is much less earthy.

  42. :

    4 out of 5

On me, this one is rather floral-sweet (but not overly sweet) than fruity. Maybe there is a trace of berries in there, somewhere, but I detect the roses and the praline mostly. The drydown is floral on me. Valentina Pink is a very nice fragrance, suitable for spring and, maybe summer evenings. The colder air brings out the roses more, I think. Longevity and silage are moderate.

IValentino pink is a young, strong happy spring/fall scent for me,it smells pink just like it’s lovely bottle
Most prominant note on me is a syntethic(it’s not syntethic in a bad way) jammy strawberry,a pink sugared fruity scent(strawberry+blackberry)with an artificial vibe+a sweet nice rose+noticable praline..my nose feels it’s almost linear but I can detect something like amber or maybe musk in the drydown
I like it and i’m happy to own a bottle of this naughty, strong, cheerful, modern energitic scent which lasts long on me with a very good sillage and nice sweet pink trail.it’s a very simple scent, all about sugary strawberry and a touch of rose but sometimes simplicity is all something needs to be pretty
Not a love but I admit with a big smile I do like it,if there was some vanilla,a dash of powder,a hint of liquorice maybe or almond,I could love it,but for what it is,it can’t go beyond a like, something I wear rarely when I’m in the mood for it
P.s: it’s a big compliment getter and a big happiness booster
P.s2:btw mine is 80ml and it doesn’t seem to be a limited edition
    Edit:
I don’t see it as a linear scent anymore.it smells like strawberry jelly beans in the opening, in middle phase it smells like a delicious chocolate dessert with strawberry marmalade and rose jam as icing. Dry down is the best part for me.it becomes warmer and less sharply sweet.I can smell very lovely and feminine powdery scent blended with rose, strawberry combo.all in all I like Valentino pink but I love it’s drydown

Flat sour berry note that was absolutely exciting at first. Strong and last and last with zero complexity that gave me a headache 4 hours later. Good for clubbing or those working in smoky nightclubs. Definitely not for day wear. One of those perfumes where it overpowers and does not blend with your natural body scent. Beautiful bottle. Too bad no miniatures.

Valentina Pink is rose, berries, praline and bubblegum. I also get a hint of bourbon vanilla and/or tobacco in the later drydown, and possibly some saffron or amber. Delicious fun fragrance for teens and for women of all ages who are young at heart and enjoy life. Valentino Pink goes well with dresses with a large floral print, and of course with pink. Feminine in the extreme for a woman who likes to be noticed. Also makes a great celebration fragrance for weddings, birthday events, parties, if the later drydown agrees with your chemistry.

Like a juicy bubblegum! At first. Few minutes later I could smell something interesting, not so massive. At a certain time, Jo Malone came to my mind with pomegranate noir. VP is modern, femenine, with a bubble mood that can be very useful. I really like it.

It is a sweeter/strawberrier version of Miss Charming by Juliette Has a Gun.
Since this bottle is definitely not suitable for carrying in a handbag and I have some Miss Charming vials, I carry them in case if I need to reapply.

I grew up in the middle east and the moment I smelled this it really reminded me of all the expensive glamorous arab women who’s mix of perfumes trail after them as they walk through the shopping malls. Maybe its nostalgia but I love it! I really smell the amber coming through strongly, which is definitely a good thing for me. Its an exotic, sexy slightly sultry perfume and a new favourite.

Tested this whilst at my local Nords that bubblegum pink bottle grabbed my eye, Given the fact how ridiculous they’re being with Fragrantica it didn’t stop from sampling, Glad I did! this was beautiful, soft fruity sweet perfection, I asked the SA for a sample She said as soon as they got it in they sold out. Now I didn’t try it on there so when I got home I did a skin test. On me it smelld so familiar && immediately reminded me of My Roses Elixir by Montale (both acquiring a strawberry rose note) only Valentina is not as citrusy as Rose Elixir, yet that same fruity sweet development came to life on my skin, I’m running low sadly of my Elixir, Given the cost of Montale, this is deff. a great replacement contender && given this is a Lmtd Edtn. I may have to spring for a bottle, wouldn’t mind having that chic matte pink bottle sitting in my collection, kudos Valentino!
    Overall: 10/10

Valentina Pink – Another lovely offering from the house of Valentino. My first impression of this scent is that it is fresh, crisp, and fruity. The fruit notes are those that are in the perfect eatable stage. Not overly ripe or rotten as some have mentioned. I was curious about how musk would compose as a top note. As it turns out it creates a delicate balance between the fruity notes by adding a layer of depth that transforms the berries into an opulent balmy scent. All the while setting the stage for the beautiful rose and peony notes. The flower notes are not loud as they blend well with the berries and musk. The dry down is delish, like a fluffy or sprinkling desert. The praline is present but does not overpower, while I find the cashmere to be soft and billowy.
Valentina Pink is a sophisticated meringue that conveys a sweet yet sultry vibe. Easy to wear wherever – whenever. Longevity on my skin is about 7+ hours with medium sillage.

This my friends is a dupe of LUSH’s Rose Jam, the specific variety of Rose Jam: the amazing shower gel which in my opinion is the best variation of Rose Jam. It is better than the Rose Jam perfume that LUSH put out because the dry down is roses and not Pink Sugar.

Oh, such a nice meeting. Lovely, fresh, sweet but like sweetness of a fruit laying in the sun. Reminds me a bit of Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet but it stays much longer on the skin (yes, I will never forgive that MDBB stays on a skin as long as nothing for quite heavy money). Well, strawberries with a cream and sugar and you sitting in the rain. Straight after shower. There you have it! 😉

Valentina Pink opens on me like synthetic strawberry bubblegum, but it improves over time. With the addition of rose and blackberry after about 30 minutes, the fragrance is no longer plain sugary, but instead, there’s a fruity tartness starting to balance the sweetness, and it settles into a delicious rose-berry jam. When the praline emerges in the drydown, it turns into a velvety berry musk with a cacao nuance, gourmand and quite comforting.
The sillage is moderate and the longevity is around 10 hours. Valentina Pink is arguably not very sophiscated, but a rather straightforward gourmand rose-berry fragrance, as pretty and girly as the pink bottle suggests. To occasionally indulge oneself in a pink dream, Valentina Pink is quite efficient.

Tried this today… There was a big display Instore as I walked towards it I got a whiff of this familiar scent. As soon as I sprayed it all I could think of was the 2003 original stella by stella mcartney. They have such similar notes of the rosé, peony and the amber it is definitely a bit sweeter though. If you liked stella you will like this!

I love the sweet scent from this one. Smells like a happy and romantic one to me. I didnt think it is a rose and berries combo. The first thing in my mind was raspberry jam mixed with roses. I adore that pink bottle too. The price however seems to be too high

i’m ecstatic about this release because i’ve always lusted after the original valentina’s gorgeous bottle and been underwhelmed by the juice inside. valentina pink didn’t disappoint. it is a bold, sweet, strawberry and rose combo with just a touch of a middle eastern vibe. it’s definitely along the lines of one of the fruitier montales.
i could see this getting a lot of dislikes because it’s unabashedly synthetic, which won’t appeal to everyone. still, i think even the most jaded of perfumistas would admit that it’s refreshing to see a flanker that isn’t an eau de toilette, eau fraiche, etc etc and actually takes a bit of a risk. ultimately, this ticks all my boxes and is a definite winner in my book.

I waited some time before writing this review, i have tried it several times, both on test strips and my skin and i wanted to be sure how i feel about it.
The bottle is bit awkward, but this is not about the bottle (doesn´t fit into the whole collection of other Valentinas) I agree with someone below, who said it smells a bit rotten fruit. Yes, there are strawberries and there are blackberries for sure, BUT there is definetely a trace of oud in here. I sware i can smell the oud or it might just be the tricky combination of notes with an amber, which is most likely to be so. I do light praline as well and the whole composition smells nice and unusual, however i can´t get over that “rotten” or “oud” smell, which bothers me. Nothing “sweet” or “innocent” in here, it is gorgeous in some way, yet not an exactly “pink” fragrance as i would expect it to be, based on the bottle. I believe this one is much better during colder time of the year, than during the summer, just my point of view.
I also have a complaint about sillage and lasting power. While on paper strip it smells strong for days and has an amazing drydown, on my skin it dissapears quite quickly and has a limited sillage.
My verdict is i am very undecided about this one, the price is affordable (around 50euros for 50ml) and since itś a limited one, i am most certainly getting it before they discontinue it. I want to try it during wintertme and autumn, hope it will grow on me.

I totally want this. Just tried it on my skin and a card on a recent trip to Melbourne. When I was a little girl, my Nana had a vast array of essential aromatherapy oils (this was the 90s of course). She had one particular one that smelt like sweet rosey strawberries. I loved it. Valentina Pink is that same sweet rose smell from my childhood. Needless to say, this has automatically made my want list.
For the technical stuff, the sillage is nice, I got a whiff every so often, not an overpowering sillage monster. It lasted for a number of hours on my skin, and is still on my clothing (days
