Maison Dorin is synonymous with royal perfumes, as it is praised to be the oldest perfumery in France and the official cosmetics supplier of the Palace Versailles since 1780. After the collections Un Air de Paris and Un Air de Damas, a new perfume line is launched this year, named Un Air d’Arabie. Un Air d’Arabie is a line of four precious and luxurious perfumes, each of which represents a variation on the oriental theme: Rose of Taif, Musk, Amber and Oud.
Un Air d’Arabie combines two different cultures by collecting the traditional Arabic aromas and composing them in French perfumery style. The result is a fantastically sensual journey into the world of fragrances lead by the scents that are unpredictable and extremely valuable.
Un Air d’Arabie Musk blends powerful notes of musk, which has never been too popular in the West, with woody aromas and floral nuances.
Top notes: chamomile, rose, cedar, patchouli. Heart: labdanum, sandalwood, frankincense, guaiac wood. Base: musk, vanilla.
Available as 80 ml EDP in distinctive bottles made of heavy glass. Un Air d’Arabie Musk was launched in 2010.

i agree with Vie Cafe, un air d’arabie musk is a modern masterpiece. this is my favorite musk. out of all others that i have smelled in my life, this is the best. hats off to maison dorin, lovely scent! also, i have to add, this can be worn by men and women, don’t let fragrantica’s gender designation steer men away.

This is a very sexy fragrance, if you decide to wear this it is clear what your intentions are. I do not agree it smells the same as Villoresi Musk which is more dense, sharper, and the rose is drowned in a potpourri mix. Dorin musk is smooth, sweet, powdery, spicy, large, the musk it smells and feels like hot skin and and has a delicious oriental rose. Fantastic perfume.

Lovely rosy musk, but I’m putting it head to head with the Lorenzo Villoresi Musk and can hardly tell the difference. The Dorin is very slightly woodier, the Villoresi a bit more powdery, but they’re very close. The Villoresi is 1/3 the price.
