    Sophisticated and elegant perfume.
It is very difficult to determine whether this is a gourmand or fresh perfume.Citrus, rum and vanilla, beautiful. The opening is citrus and later vanilla dominantes.
Everyone loves this perfume,I always get a lot of compliments. The comments are that I smell elegant and luxurios.
    Very long lasting 12+ hours.

This is one of the smoothest fragrances I ve ever tried, really high quality expensive smelling fragrance without being too artistic, smells great

An improved version of Nikos Sculpture pour homme. They same juice with addition of Some quality ingredients on top which is noticable in the midlife of this perfume. The opening and drydown are Too similar with Nikos. I Still vote for Nikos in this case.

Starts off complex with a lot going on; fresh, flowery, green, sweet, woody, boozy and a mild coffee aroma. They all work very well together and it’s the most interesting part. Because within a couple of hours, it all goes simpler, many notes disappear, it becomes quite sweet and with an emphasis on vanilla. The direction is now gone to a soft and sweet, almost to the point of classifying it a gourmand boozy/vanilla/sandalwood/musk which is nice smelling, but not that expensive or rich as the beginning. In fact, it goes from something unique to something common, widely felt with that vanilla based drydown.

Ali_jafari: you got that right. Plus the “niche” makers are feeding the world frenzy of niche heads (like myself) nowadays, charging exorbitant prices for the same ol’ stuff. That’s too bad, because I love perfumes and this makes me sad. I probably will top off my fragrance bucket list and stop there.

    Xerjoff Uden
    4/10
The important question is: why do you even buy perfumes?? Just to smell nice? Or to get compliments from people?? or to experience art? The niche Perfumery was primarily Supposed to target the corner of the market and create beauty with avant_garde perfumes. But alas
In this savage dark world not every body cares about feelings and sensations. Xerjoff Uden to me is as worthless as Creed Aventus.. Such a mass pleasing cheap product just to make money.
The scent could be easily found in almost everything like a Chanel Allure or in a stupid perfume store in the back street..this thing lacks originality!
The scent is almost disgusting to me..like the vomit of a little baby after just being fed!!
But seriously it’s not bad only if you want to smell like scented polish.

@Manny44 it is possible that my expectations were set a little too high, it just didn’t turn out to be what I imagined. I did however give it another try and i’m starting to appreciate it a little more.
Perhaps it will grow on me slowly, but for now It certainly wouldn’t make any top 10 lists.

I’m actually a little disappointed in this one. I bought a decant literally based on the note breakdown alone, it looked like i would HAVE to love it … Meh. Not overly impressed. I just get a rather dusty dry coffee note and maybe a hint of citrus. I actually don’t find it very attractive at all. Don’t take this as fact it’s just my opinion and personal taste, i already know im going to take heat for this review lol.
Probably going to give my decant away.

I just can said, love it. Magic, amazing and charming mix of rum & coffee. yes these 2 notes are most important in this perfume. Citrusy notes open up this unique scent. In middle we have a strong rum smell with sweet, aromatic and alcoholic sense. Also sandalwood & guaiac make a beautiful masculine accord. At the end of this show, coffee & musk-Amber signature appear. I found that this scent can be very different in longevity & smell! on different skin. fortunately about me this has good performance with strong & pleasure smell(I know this is for men but in my opinion perfumes have unlimited border.

I think this is my favorite fragrance. I don’t get the originality criticism. I mean, I like originality too. But what smells amazing smells amazing. And when I think of my favorite car. My favorite clothes. My favorite sex position. Etc. Originality is not the main concern. I want it to feel good. I want to feel at ease and at home. I want to be stimulated emotionally. And this scent is like that for me. A perfect mix of salty, sweet, fresh, and musky, delicious and spicy. Warm but cooling.
    It’s perfect.

Smells very nice but it suffers from lack of originality and creativity.Simply Reminds you of Chanel Allure Homme (Edition Blanche)!
Infact its the refined version of Allure Homme with better longevity and sillage.
All in all I Like it for its quality and performance and would prefer it over new batches of Allure Homme.
    Nothin Much to say.Period.
(Still don’t know why others vote to remove the similar fragrances list.just search “allure” in this page to get what i mean and i think we are here to help eachother in selecting good choices)

Amazingly versatile fragrance from Xerjoff. Boozy, sweet, citrusy, and woody all at the same time. This is about as close to a signature scent as you can get.

I found it hard to get along with this perfume. To me, it’s very similar to Chanel Allure Homme Edition Blanche – except the Chanel feels like the smoother and better-blended fragrance. The longevity on this is average, with projection below average. It didn’t really get away from me. I also felt like it had a slightly nauseating quality to it which burned the back of my throat. It’s harsher than the Chanel. Imagine Chanel is the lemon meringue pie, and this is the heartburn you get after eating it. 6/10.

A rummy vanilla fragrance. With citrus aquatic and caffeinated undertones. That’ll be all for my description on the smell. My perception of this fragrance is the perfect date fragrance and that is only when I will be using this from now on. So what is my perfect date? Putting on our favorite fine dining evening wear, going out to drinks and small food in an open bar. I live to experience. I’d be dressed in a charcoal suit, white dress shirt – unbuttoned and black dress shoes. Wearing my favorite watch – In my case a Blue Rolex Yacht-master. That’s who I associate my person being in a watch. Call it materialistic we all have associations – colored hair, personality traits, and styles. This is me with my lover. I do believe this smell is perfect – at least for myself. And hope to wear this many times in my future.

Uden is the first Xerjoff fragrance that I sampled and I love it. I got most of the notes -except the rum- without checking them out on this page, and I think it’s mostly because of how natural and realistic they smell. It’s the kind of scent that smells very niche in those terms.
It starts with bitter lemon and tangy orange skin along with vanilla on a very creamy smooth sandalwood base. Then it gets more woody and musky and lightly develops spiciness which brings out a very prominent ambergris note.
Uden is not hot nor very cold either; it’s just very balanced. Not too sweet, not too sour, not too bitter, perfect balance! You can wear this all year, casual, formal, whatever, just as long as it’s price tag doesn’t bother you. Sillage and longevity are great in my opinion.
This fragrance is a pleasant unisex smell in my opinion. I admit there is a certain animalistic aspect to it from ambergris, that tilts masculine-especially if you smell it closely-. As a woman, I’m not crazy about the opening but the heart and the dry down are creamy and beautiful and I just lovvvveeee it. The drydown is very feminine on my skin. It’s just vanilla and sandalwood and other very soft woods. Gorgeous! I rate this fragrance 8.5 out of 10.
Uden is a “calm cool collected” kind of fragrance, and it’s very pleasant; so if you’re that kind of person, make sure to check it out.

This stuff is magical. A seamless blend of spice and sunshine and sweet vanilla-rum cake and coffee. These ingredients are so life like it’s a synesthetic dream.

I don’t need these expensive tastes. Now I’m gonna have to have this in my collection. Fuck me.

Ok so I own this and it was a blind Buy. (Don’t worry if I don’t like I quickly sell or swap so this isn’t bias)
First off some of the comparisons to say Armani, and JPG are absurd. This smells nothing like either. Moving on now.
It does have a strong similarity to Chanel Allure Homme at first then changes to closer to Chanel Allure Homme Edition Blanche EDTC. SLIGHTLY. As others have mentioned it is hard to find a fragrance that doesn’t resemble something else. Uden is NOT identical to either the above mentioned. Just same vein.
Uden does smell unique on its own. And VERY VERY high quality. Though it resembles those two it is its own as previously said.
I love this fragrance it has great performance for a citrus type. I get about 6 hours strong. Longevity, can be smelled for about 10.
Does it garner the price tag? For me personally yes. I’m really impressed with Xerjoff’s blending and quality of ingredients.
Someone mentioned this is the top seller from the house and that is incorrect. One of the top maybe but Nio surpasses this in sales.

  21. :

    5 out of 5

Xerjoff Uden is top seller from the house and that comes as no surprise to me as this one is one of the most beautiful long lasting summer scent you can own if you can afford it . It starts out citrusy and after few minutes you detect something boozy which is rum mixed with vanilla/coffee and it Kinda gourmandise .I also detect little bit of rose and sandalwood note’s however they are a small player and it settles as a very comforting scent which you can wear all the time and anytime .
It has a similarity to another scent which I owned which Chanel AHSEE however this is like elder brother which is more refined and can handle himself better after couple of drinks .
I think if you can get this at a good price then it is must have and this is a Compliment getter also and well appreciated by everyone. 9/10

  22. :

Uden justifies the price tag for a citrus vanilla. Like most of Xerjoff and Sopiro fragrances the synthetics have been used excessively. Hey you know what but it works great for summer.

Too much hype, it’s nice but not worth the price. Doesn’t smell anything like Chanel Edition Blanche but does have a Allure Homme vibe about it in the opening. Then it drysdown to a woody floral which smells like Dior Ambre Nuit. After about 4 hours, it’s a skin scent and I get mainly tonka.

  26. :

    5 out of 5

The note breakdown for this fragrance pretty much sums it up and at different point in its life you will probably be able to pick out most of them, that’s how well put together this juice is. One caviat is that it must be a combination of the notes that also something gives me a tobacco feel which I absolutely love.
It’s a good performer too. Excellent longevity and very versatile. Work, play, day, night, all 4 season, you name it, it’s good for it.
It was love at first sniff when I bought a partially used 50ml bottle of this from a frag group, so much so I bought a 100ml back up bottle when a deal came up on Notino. I have quite a large fragrance collection and this is the ONLY time I have ever felt the need to buy a second bottle of any fragrance. It’s that good. Truly a signature worthy scent.
I really cannot praise Uden highly enough. My favourite Xerjoff, hell I’d even go as far to say it’s probably my favourite full stop right now. It’s going to take something special to top this bad boy for me.
Get a sample and give it a try. I guarantee you won’t regret it.

You get what you pay for with Uden. Quality and lasting power. Xerjoff doesn’t smell daring like an Amouage. The house is more comparable to creed. High quality crowd pleaser. Those, to me, are worth the cash. I’m not defending Xerjoffs pricing by any means but if I am paying hundreds of dollars for a niche fragrance, I want people to think I smell good unlike a lot of other expensive scents. Musc Ravegour, anything Amouage (except reflection), Montales, etc come to mind. I’m not paying hundreds of dollars to wear a scent that only I like. I’d rather find one like this that both I and people around me enjoy.
This smells like lemon, rum, and coffee. It sounds odd and it sounds like they really left their selves no other option but to fail with that nite listing. There aren’t many good coffee scents that smell like a completely different fresh scent up top. Xerjoff nailed it. It does smell familiar but the comparisons to Allure Homme are irrelevant. I’m a huge niche head but I’m able to see the similarities between le male and Reflection man. I’m able to see the similarities between cool water and GIT. There’s nothing similar about uden and allure Homme. Uden is its own scent.

some of my good friend suggest me to test it because he know i love boozy note and he said it is one of best boozy note. but i get from this one something totally different.
on the top notes i just get very sharp citrusy note that it last for 2 hour. after that it’s going to disappear and change to vanillian coffe note exactlly the same in chanel allure.but little more delicious.
last and sillage was so good but it wasn’t boozy and it really doesn’t worth this price(in my opinion).8/10

Very beautiful smelling scent, inoffensive and smells of quality ingredients.
Too expensive so I won’t be buying a bottle (my missus would kill me). If it was £100 a bottle, everyone would be wearing it though as it is very good.
Everyone I have asked to smell it has said that it is very nice.

I have to be honest, I was given a few samples of the shooting stars line to try out and I was not buying into the hype. I thought, “who in the world would pay this much to smell this horrid?”! Then, Uden came along. . Simply put. The. Best. Smell. I. Have. Ever. Encountered. To. Date.
    Wow. Wow and WOW.
The blend is something so special: I get an AMAZING citrus with a sweet vanilla and amber that’s not cloying and wearable in warm weather and like a sweet dry tobacco note. I have been on the quest to find a bottle. I can pay $320 a bottle, but I won’t. I will however buy a used bottle off someone if they are willing to part with this. That’s the problem, nobody ever wants to let go of this magnificent gem. It’s art. This is beyond smelling good and getting complements. This is a statement that you will only settle for the best of the best.
Sample this, I guarantee you will see why people like me collect Niche mainly, you will not smell alcohol and you will not smell chemicals in the dry down, just a beautiful, well composed and high quality ingredients that last and last and last!
    10/10 Grail
P.S. – this smells nothing remotely even close to the mentioned scents above! I own both of them and take a look at my collection and I think you will see I know a little about fragrances. 🙂

This is….man, in my opinion one of the most phenomenal fragrances produced today. I’ve come to conclusion that I would not change one thing about this fragrance. it is one of the most impeccable openings that I have ever smelled. The dry down is by far one of the sexiest I have a put my nose to. I have nothing that I would say to people that say this is ordinary or overrated. This was made to be universally liked by most and loved by many.

What an intoxicating and romantic scent.
Wow.So delicate that I find it hard to pick words to describe it.
Wait, let me finish this “Pourquoi me réveiller”in my head first.
Okay, here we go.Uden starts with a very bright citrus note, what noteworthy is that the citrus note here are not in a crispy way but in a creamy way since vanilla serves as the base of it;However the whole scent is not overly sweet, especially when the rum note entered instantly with the citrus, and it became kind of boozy. It must be said that “boozy” is actually an advantage of this fragrance, because it made the citrus part much more complex than usual.
Unfortunately I was unable to recognize other notes in the pyramid——including coffee/guaiac wood etc.Though it sounds really amazing. Anyway, Uden is an absolutely relaxing scent, and I don’t think it can only worn by male, girls like me would enjoy this scent very much too.Last but not least, I suggest wearing this at home when you are with your lover, or when you are vacationing on a dreamy island……simply wonderful!

Sergio Momo, the man behind Xerjoff, told me in person yesterday that Uden was one of their top seller within the Shooting Stars Collection. On paper, it had a warm citrus opening and within thirty seconds or so I detected something boozy and later learned that it was the Rum absolute being used in the mix. The gourmandish coffee note became quite noticeable shortly after along with a warm buttery woody note. A faint rose note started to emerge when all the other notes seemed to be all blended together then and it became a warm comforting aromatic scent. As I was testing the perfume oils of Xerjoff Homme and Xerjoff Damarose then, I was not able to test Uden on skin. I will definitely try it on skin next time when I go pick up my order at the perfumery. I am sure there has to be a reason for Uden to be a top seller among all their other great fragrances.

  42. :

I can’t believe you people are throwing shots at Uden. Im about to screen shot this page and show this to God!!! I found this to be a bit Janus-faced but in a intriguing way. The citrus in the top dazzles with a clean blend of classy ingredients completing the aromatic side of Uden. Coffee and vanilla dominates the rest of the fragrance accentuated by the lemon from the lemon and the lemon from the rose. Also worth mentioning is the rum which is somewhat muted. The small shot of alcohol doesn’t negate the fact that you’re still gonna need your liquor license to mess with this one. The drydown surprised me a bit in part of its glaring similarity to Montale’s Incense Cafe. This is far from a department store frag and lasts a good while. In the future, don’t ever throw rocks at the sun, you can’t reach it.

This could have been, possibly the greatest. But it’s not, by a very long way and I’m lamenting it. I really wanted this very disappointing House to have a Gem for keepsake.
Uden, like many others have been saying, does indeed start off really alike the original Chanel Allure. It’s very close and you will only notice the slightly better Authenticity of the citrus notes if press your nose right against your hand.
Um, not a good 1st impression for a £200 / $280 number – that’s pushed as being the ‘People pleaser’ of the House(!!)
The citruses will mostly be a grapefruit, lime and a dash of powdery orange (ugh, nooo, not again) combo that Xerjoff like to use in their 1861 EDP (minus the orange there) – which I don’t like becasue I prefer my citruses very tart/sugary and creamy/gourmand.
The lime is pretty prominent sadly, it lends an annoying green, airy sour tinge that a straight lemon just wouldn’t.
Howevr, thankfully about 45 minutes later an amazing boozy yet sweet creamy gourmand-like warmth appears and starts fully dominating. Like the finest, coffee-spiked sweet amber.
Now it’s much less powdery than Allure and rich and addictive.
It becomes a very pleasing type of comfort scent that radiates an amazing faint rose/amber accord with the amber dominating.
So, outstanding, totally safe and beautiful after about an hour of shocking mediocrity.
Very versatile, although there is a slight beach-like coconut vibe the rum gives off that makes this that sort of scent too, but very very pricey!!
I really really really wish I could just grab the drydown and slap a big 10/10 on it and be done there – but that would be cheating?
The start put me off a lot, but after the initial brief stage, it’s amazing, so I’m not sure.
I’ll give it a 6 with price factored in, because that – and the very disappointing opening are the main drawbacks here.
Increase the score by 1 if considering dropping the £200 asking fee is not an issue at all.
    Scent: 6/10
    Quality: 9/10.

Totally agree with alfarom is a perfume niche / commercial may say so.
A good gateway to know the niche perfumery, even more this wonderful house that has quality fragrances and very natural materials.
Do not get me wrong who love this perfume, but I consider this a niche version of Minotaure which I also love, a very natural wave of citrus with spicy touches sweetened reconciled, feel creamy vanilla and a touch of coffee means that the makes a citrus / creamy, this mixture and brings to my mind this fragrance.
Quality he has to spare, but very expensive for the lack of creativity in the chords.

UPDATE: having now purchased a bottle of Armani Code, I see very very little if no real tangible similarities between the two (Uden/Armani Code)….. Niche fragrances are “NICHE” for a reason: superior, quality ingredients with superior blending…. An experienced nose will be able to distinguish such differences readily………, as many of you will probably agree…….!

  46. :

    3 out of 5

From reviews Uden seems to be a lot of things. A one said before sort of niche fragrance for people that dont want to smell like a more out there niche fragrance. And you know I agree.
After the initial blast(which does smell nice mind you), it almost instantly basically turns into a sort of Armani code or Allure homme sort of smell. Much like a lot of the flankers from the pure line, people say has that sort of A*men DNA. There is some allure DNA here, hidden under neath a basically better smelling code.
As that slowly starts to fade I get more coffee, which resembles a sort of as said before perhaps Rochas man. But rather than Rochas man, id say its more of a Play intense actually. And I say this perhaps because one of the knocks of this fragrance is that its a mess of notes that dont work together. And that happens from play intense sometimes. I get a sorta of strange plastic rubber smell with the coffee that smells a little off. And I do get a little bit of that smelling a tad strange, plastic rubberish coffee note here for a bit in the fragrance.
And as it enters its final dry down stage. I get a sort of actually Sublime Vanille from creed smell. Albeit a darker version, one with a slight bit of kick to it, just a little spice sorta smell as that coffee still lingers. Its a little tasty, and snuggly. Which for what its worth, I dont find Code, or Allure, to be snuggly or tasty at all. So this is nice…
That being said, yea its a lot of things. I dont get a lot of Rum sadly, maybe just slightly there to add some sweetness. But at the end of the day its hard to over complicate the smell when my nose is already relating this fragrance to so many other things. Longevity is fine, as is projection. Not beast mode, which maybe disappointing for some considering its very pricey.
Anyway nice smell, a better smelling code, or allure, with a bit of tastiness actually added in to make it a bit snuggly and tasty. But ultimately to expensive I would say.

@Kankuro: I really enjoyed reading your review…. Very deep, thorough and thought-provoking………. Thank you for that…. It’s a refreshing change from the others with their sour grapes regarding it’s similarity to Armani Code…. Show me one fragrance PLEASE that has NO SIMILARITIES TO ANY OTHER FRAGRANCE……..,,

This is a tricky one. At first, I thought Uden was just alright. It has that almost mainstream/designer appeal, loosely reminds you of Allure Homme or Code etc. I was prepared to leave this one and never come back to it – but then I kept wanting to wear it, over and over again. That’s when I realized just how well this fragrance is composed.
Opens with a very nice citrus accord, and it’s not long before it starts to thicken up a bit with coffee, rum, vanilla, woods and musk. The thought of a bright citrus with a healthy dose of booze and coffee is no easy feat, and rest assured, it warms the soul. By the time we reach the middle, Uden is just so damn smooth, and remains that way, with the vanilla lingering perhaps the longest of all the other notes in the late drydown.
Performance had me fooled. I thought this one disappeared after 4 hours, until I got a compliment from the clerk at the grocery store who was about 4 feet away, four hours after application. Longevity hovers around 6 hours on my skin, so it’s not a powerhouse by any means.
Great for all seasons, including summer – just not the scorching hot, humid days.

Okay… Uden from Xerjoff is a calm creation which is sweet and subtle.
The quality is evident and although it puts me in mind of vanilla/tonka designer fair like Le male or Armani code, I think it’s a bit unfair to tar Uden with the same brush as it’s undoubtedly better.
The opening for example is a beautiful mix of citruses and the main note I get is one of coconut which is only very brief but really nice. Uden dries down to a lovely soft, sweet vanilla, musk and creamy sandalwood. Also I get the coffee note after about 2 hours I thought it wasn’t there but it is very subtlety is… like Rocas Man. I’ve no doubt there’s superb quality in this fragrance but has it blown me away? not really.
This is the problem with Xerjoff the greats are too few but to be fair they’re getting better as I try more & more.

Uden Jerkoff (just kidding) smells nice. I feel as if I’m royalty when I get a whiff of it. Initially, there was a combo of this generic kind of coffee note to it mixed with something extremely citrusy which I did not quite like, however after a short time it started to sweeten down and I could smell rose, vanilla, tonka bean, and spice. In the end I really enjoyed it. I am pleased to say I own this fragrance.

    Uden Xerjoff for men
