Winter Night
Firstly huge fan of Dolce & Gabbana The One EDP. Its the most mysterious date night perfume ever.
Back to Mysterious Night.
Clearly it is for the “elder men”, NOT a night club fragrance. It projects as you are a rich sheikh sitting in your big mansion with other guests , smoking shisha and watching belly dance.
The fragrance opens up with huge amounts of rose, oud and saffron and eventually it smells like a powerful version of The One EDP with bit of rose in it
So if you arent into rose / saffron its not for you. But if you want to experiment, stand out taking centre stage this is sheer brilliant.

¡A daring scent!. This is not for the faint of heart, that innocently seeks an alternative to his The One EDP. Personally, I’m not a rose fan, so when I first sprayed on my arm, I didn´t like this new flanker (clearly my predominantly western nose is not used to scents aimed at the middle eastern market). Mysterious Night greets you with a strong smell of roses, saffron, and various spices. There´s a note that I can’t define, that makes the rose smell kind of medicinal. At this moment, the perfume is LOUD. Pretty LOUD (think Paco Rabanne One Million Absolutely Gold Loud). At the 15 minutes mark, the rose note begins to fade quickly, loses the medicinal feel, and the characteristic notes of the original The One begin to emerge. In this case, the classic DNA is turbocharged with pepper and resinous woods. If I had to make an analogy, it would be like the difference between Spicbomb and Spicebomb extreme. The DNA is there but in a completely different direction. From this moment on, I began to enjoy it a lot. It never stops being an “oriental” version of The One with rose and Oud, but to my nose, gains greater versatility so you can use it outside a night wedding in the winter. Clearly, these are my first impressions and I want to use it more to be able to give a more accurate verdict about its usability. As for the scent, I liked it A LOT, because it´s a quite noticeable change to the original, and it’s not the typical flanker in which they only change a note and think that justifies a new bottle. I do not recommend a Blind buy. I think this scent is more suitable for people over 30 and for formal events.

Nothing special, typeical synthetic amber scent with touches of saffron and rose. The arabic font says “magical night” not “mysterious” as mentioned.

It is smells very much similar to to Royal Night expect replace the cardomon with jammy rose.

Of course, this would smell great, with that list of notes, especially if they use a good quality amber. Is this released in the USA? If so, I definitely, plan to sample on my next perfume-smelling trip to the upscale mall.
The ad is a bit disappointing… was hoping they would use Maria Muldaur’s “Midnight at the Oasis” for a soundtrack. Am I being too cheesy? Sorry if I put that song in your head.

I will give myself another try with D&G because the notes are looking good but if they last at least 1h i will buy it…other versions of THE ONE is very very poor longevity and sillage,,,
