This has a fresh clean soapy scent after about 30 mins. I love it.

II often find myself a bit leery when it comes to picking up frags that are from department stores. Over the years, I’ve had a few bad ones: a couple from Benetton, Esprit, Aeropostale, and a few others…. There are some others though that buck the trend, like banana republic and this one…….. For any of you who have EVER owned or tried Jo Malone’s Lime, Basil & Mandarin- this is a close close cousin to that frag! Yes it is the Jo Malone wannabe & it does a pretty good job of it. This formulation has noticeably less projection, sillage and longevity tho….. that being said, it’s a tremendous bang 4 your buck considering what it’s going for nowadays…
*the green pepper & caraway are definitely there for me and they take turns pushing themselves to the fore….
*Gin & to Tonic on the patio in mid-Juy vibe…..
*cant lose on thus one given the price and the quality of the scent…., even if you decide to go heavy on the trigger! you can’t go wrong and it still wouldn’t put a dent in your pocket-book!!!

This frag is true to what it promotes. No frills true natural fragrance that goes well with other scents. It is versatile but projection and sillage is weak. I like to wear this everyday and compliment it with lemon peel or orange peel. Vetiver and Bergamot plays nice with the skin. Works best if sprayed on back of ears, wrists and chest. I get a lot of compliments on it. Its a shame that the spray is not sturdy.

one of the few fragrances that last almost endlessly on my skin, long life, even stays in my clothes neatly … an explosion of acidity, citrus and greenery … lemony and green pepper. Extremely cool!

This smells almost exactly like Jo Malone Lime, Basil and Mandarin, only a lighter version. If you are familiar with that fragrance then you pretty much should be happy with this as they smell so similar. Both are loaded with caraway, vetiver and bergamot…with a splash of citrus. Green, earthy, unisex scent. Possibly slightly more male but definitely unisex. Even though this sounds like a spring/summer fragrance based on the notes, this is more of a fall/winter scent in my opinion. There is a heaviness to it but could definitely be worn year round. I think this falls in the love it or hate it category though and may be a bit too masculine for some women.

This summer I wanted to break the mold of aquatic. Every fragrance house had the summer edition with their perception of what an aquatic note is. I got lucky with a blind buy, “The Natural” by Gap.
The first 10 min. is a refreshing blast of bergamot. The vetiver starts creeping up with a little help from the caraway and emerges to be a very earthy smoky freshness that last a good 4 to 6 hours with good projection. Towards the end of the fragrances longevity it transforms into a very comforting experience, very relaxing.
It is a unisex fragrance. It brought me a good deal of complements. It is now one of my signature summer scents.

A good smelling, casual fragrance. It has a blast of bergamot in the beginning, mixed with the corriander, making it very citrusy and spicy off the bat. It settles very quickly to the corriander/vetiver within 15 minutes. At the drydown phase, the vetiver and coriander are the only detectable notes for me. It is a very dry fragrance, but bright. It’s the summer version of terre d’hermes and Franck Oliver’s black touch which go best in fall and winter. I think it resembles citrus and wood by yardly. The longevity is not something I would brag about. I get about 4-5 hours until undetectable, and the projection is not good after about an hour. Overall I would say it’s a very casual close to the skin scent and for the price, I’d recommend it to a college student who can’t afford the expensive stuff. It’s also suitable for young men in the early to mid 20’s. I like the spicy dry sort of scents, and this is one of them.

Love this crisp clean fresh perfume – ideal for a hot summer day in Australia – lasts well and I always get comment on it.

This Gap starts out very sharp! Like drinking a really dry gin blended with loads of lemon/lime zest. The scent is bright, crisp, and zesty for a long time. It pretty much stays like this all the way with vetiver undertone. There is little to none of sweetness in it; making the scent less appealing to me.
The Natural is a bit too crisp, too dry, and too underwhelming for me. Probably is a nice choice for daily use and for sharing. If I had this, it would be long forgotten among my collection.

samiliar with Visionary, i think the caraway makes the base smells very masculine.
started citrussy then subdues to soft masculine herb (i believe this is the caraway).
i kind of like this one. not as heavy as Visionary, much more subtle, but lasts very long time.
    good value for money!!!
