I simply adore this version of Burberry Beat! I tried for months to track it down and was finally able to source it in Europe. It’s a deliciously seductive tea and iris fragrance bolstered and grounded by vanilla, amber and musk in the best of ways. Every time I move a delicious waft of it teases my nose! I wear it sparingly and fall more in love each time I spritz it. I agree with Happyme2009 – this is immaculate.

Simply put this is one of the most immaculate iris creations ever made. I have to say that it doesn’t smell like the normal Beat. It’s an iris that has the typical carrot note a la Hiris tamed down by powder and a gentle sweetness . the Ceylon tea here is not bitter, it seems a little milky. The vanilla shows up at the end of the show, it’s raw and mature, not the gourmand type.
This comes in pure perfume concentration only, expect it to be long lasting on skin and clothes, but without a strong silage. Superb and extremely elegant. Distinguished , aristocratic, and of course melancholic, like all th other high class iris perfumes.
