Description

Burberry’s The Beat for women was released in March 2008.
The parfumeurs in charge of this creation are Dominique Ropion, Olivier Polge and Beatrice Piquet, who enriched this perfume with the notes of tea from Ceylon, iris, bluebell, bergamot, cardamom, pink pepper, mandarin, light musk, vetiver and cedar.
This perfume has connection with music, because the perfemeurs created it on the concept of music from Kasabian’s album: Dirty Pretty Things, Razorlight, the Arctic Monkeys and The Fratellis, illustrating the mood introduced by The Beat.
Baron and Bailey designed the bottle for the Beat and it respresents an enlarged version of Burberry’s checked pattern painted on a scarft, which was worn by Deyn in the commercial. The bottle has a silver-coloured cap, as well as an amulet made of suede and metal, which was an interesting novelty in Burberries decorative/fashion accessories.
It is advertised by Agyness Deyn, accompanied by Fabien Baron’s marketing and David Sims’ photography.
Perfume The Beat is available as 30, 50 and 75ml edp, as well as an elixir perfume in the amount of 40 ml.

Nice fragrance. A bit classy for my taste of fresh fragrances.

This is a very pretty, classy tea fragrance. I like it but I already own something that is pretty close but smells better & lasts longer. All those that like this or like this but have complained that is doesnt last should try Elizabeth Ardens White Tea. It is very well made, classy, lasts & is that same tea, green, clean fragrance you get from this.

I agree its a uplifting scent with sparkling pink pepper and sour mandarin orange but the most prominent note in here is bergamot Its a fresh green aromatic and musky based fragrance quite casual joyfull and easy a bit masculline
I think of white when i smell there,s also something sunny beachy in it i think its the cardamom

  4. :

An uplifting scent. Really fresh and spicy from the pink pepper and the cardamom and yet, it has some kind of warmth in it, maybe from the tea.
I can also detect the iris and the mandarin, which give it a bit of sweetness.
It’s really perfect for day time wear in spring and summer.
    Quite great longevity and sillage.

This is fun stuff! Screams summer! Big peppery opening, then it blooms. So pretty, I always associate this as a grown up loves baby soft… Nothing really smiliar other than the pink. Does anyone else smell in color? Its pretty and clean, fresh! This lasts almost a full day on me, projection is mild. I can go nose blind to this quite quickly so not an everyday scent for me. Highly recommend!

Another win from Burberry for me! The Beat is citrus and peppery in the top notes and dries down to a lovely tea, musk, and floral combination. I am surprised there isn’t a white floral in here! I would have sworn I smell the faintest hint of jasmine. The edp and the edt share a similar opening but the drydown on the edp is far richer, which I prefer.
My only quarrel is the longevity. I get three or four hours, max, depending on the weather and it becomes very soft soon after application. I don’t mind reapplying g during the day, though. Also, the 30ml bottle is just perfect for carrying in my purse.

This is my perfect summer fragrance. I’ve had this a while – it’s the sort of perfume that you have on the back burner, always reliably delicious, but sometimes eclipsed by other, more punchy scents. I have often thought of this as my office and daytime staple, always loved it, but it hasn’t ever been one of my absolute favourites. Enter the current heatwave… this scent has been absolutely indispensable.
There is both freshness and rich depth here, which is a combo all too rare in summer-appropriate perfumes. The ceylon tea note gives a deep, complex aroma that hangs around for a remarkably long time on my shirt, and it is this that really makes this perfume so great. Cardamom also gives a deep spice along with the pink pepper that raises this scent head and shoulders above my other ‘summery’ scents, like Elizabeth Arden Mediterranean or Calvin Klein Reveal.
The depth of spice and tea makes this so flexible; fresh as a long island ice tea for daytime, but rich enough to add a little mysterious je ne sais quoi to your summer evenings. The top notes are fresh and fruity with the orange and bergamot, beautiful alongside the tea note. There’s an intermittent wave of the iris, which gives a slight powdery depth, just enough to add interest and complexity. The vetiver and ceder are quiet and well blended, so I don’t ‘hear’ these notes loudly, they just hum in the background.
All in all, an impressive blend of notes that make this cool, refreshing ice tea scent an absolute must for warm weather. I have been enjoying it immensely!

If you are poor but have good taste in life this will treat you with respect and honour. Delivers sophistication and finesse to the empty wallet bearer.

I LOVE this, but on me it is fresh and uplifting–bergamot, iced tea, PEAR, light florals, and musk. Pear is not even listed in the notes!!
I get a sunny yellow feminine vibe from this.
Daytime, casual, sun dress, sun glasses and sandals, going to an outdoor event or barbecuing on the patio. Lasting power is a good 3 hours.

On me, this is strongly cardemom-centered from the top all to the base. The cardemom paired with tangerine gives a sweet and cosy vibe. The tea note here is more like earl grey rather than green tea – also warming and cosy. To me this is not so much a fresh citrus, but a zesty spicy comfort scent.
It took me a long time to figure out why this somehow feels familiar, and then I realized: it reminds of Venice Beach perfume, the light blue slightly curved bottle from the 90s. Not to say they are the same: The Beat is like Burberry Brit is having beachy leisure time.

How similar it is to Missoni Eau De Toilette . Very good Burberry’s skeleton , but in all it’s all the same with Missoni. Missoni though a bit aquatic and more tropical sweet, but these are all tiny nuances .
    Anybody think so?
For me it’s also more colder weather fragrance. Absolutely now what I’ve expected after reading all possible reviews and buying it online.
Beautiful, but I have Missoni, that I almost never use.
Also, I don’t feel changes in it-all straight , just some notes (woody ) disappearing gradually, leaving pleasant sweetness. Too much for hot days.

  12. :

    3 out of 5

The top is really green/white tea to me and thus very spring. Fresh with a little citrus. Then it turns to a sweeter scent with a touch of woody smell. The scent stays pretty long on me, for sure 5-6 hours. I like this bottle much more than I expected I would. A good surprise with a very good price tag nowadays.

If you like Philosophy Amazing Grace, you might like this a lot, a more sophisticated scent in the same clean youthful floral musk style. Discontinued but can be had inexpensively. It is a favorite of mine for springtime. Thanks to all of you, I am going to try out Korres Bellflower now too for some lotion and shower gel.
I love the minimalist bottle shape, very sleek and looking a little like an abstract head and shoulders. The tiny bottle of this fits right into my suitcase so well. I have people come into my office and demand to know what I am wearing.
The name makes no sense to me, unless it it meant to evoke a heartbeat. It is certainly not loud despite its good staying power and projection due to the soft notes, nothing sharp here. I normally love floral orientals, but this works so well for me in warm weather.

  14. :

I loved this perfume! I could feel the scent hours after I put it on! It was a really amazing smell
Edit: I wouldn’t recommend purchasing a new bottle of this anymore, its performance has changed, after 2 seconds I don’t smell it anymore

Pleasant floral that seems to disappear quickly on my skin. I think there are too many better longer lasting light florals to keep this one for $29.99. Will be returning.

I just love this perfume, loud initially but slowly settles down to a soft baby powder smell on me,Ifind it very comforting and nice.i wonder how has it not garnered the attention it’s supposed to have garnered, that being said I am happy that not many wear this.i smell tea somewhere in between when I wear this!!Nauseating if you spray too much so be careful! Just the right amount does the magic-I prefer to wear this to work

  17. :

Hmmmm… this fragrance is a little sweeter than I would like, kinda like bubble gum. Initial spray brings out soft musk, bergamot and tea but it fades into a bit of musky sweetness after an hour on my skin. Not impressive on my skin. I would give it 2/5. I will not repurchase this one.

  18. :

    3 out of 5

I received this as a sample, and all I can say really is ‘NOPE’. I tried on paper and the strength was decent, but the scent itself was gah, maybe it’s the tea leaves or it seems to have a bubbly mineral smell like club soda, but something in it just threw my nose off. I came back an hour later and the same nose-scrunching effect happened although it had mellowed out but this is one scent I do not see myself enjoying.

  19. :

I adore tea and citrus fragrances but I can barely smell anything on me once applied. So sad as I’ve heard such good things about this one.

  20. :

I love this perfume! So I am mad that it does not last! 1-2 hours :(((

  21. :

    4 out of 5

I have 30ml edp, in my opinion it is not tiring nor addictive.
These perfumes are interesting, unclothed. Herbal note is very well mixed with vetiver and tangerine gives such a fresh / woody scent.
Although the categories are floral-wood. There is also a cardamom. Perceptible after 12 / 15min which gives an aromatic, spicy thread. But such a small side thread.
There is an iris, little pink pepper feeling.
Lasted for up to 6/7 hours. Flacon looks classic has color and decor.
But for me, just an adventure.

  22. :

I love The Beat. This is just one of those loveable, universal good smells. Shot to my top 5 most grabbed-for. You can wear it anywhere and it doesn’t smell over the top in any direction, but it has a warm sweet n spice fresh thing I can’t explain.
This is a really cute, cozy, work-friendly, sweet but not TOO sweet, delicate scent. I have grown to love it based on its friendly and mellow likeable factor.
Sweet tea with just a little nutty flavor and dash of spice.
I need to spray on a little more of this to make it last, but then it lasts around 8 hrs. My fellow perfume lover at work wanted to know what I was wearing:)
I think the touch of cardamom and pink pepper make this special. Toward the last hours of drydown, the spice factor reminds you how great this smells. Just lovely! My family really likes this one too.
This one gives me something to smile about and smell- good confidence. A lovely and crowd-pleasing Burberry!

    * These are my personal experiences/thoughts with this fragrance. Yours/others may differ. *
    Initial – citrus + cardamom
    Drydown – tea + cedar + musk
    Duration – 7-8 hours
    Projection – soft
Experiences – The opening is a bright and invigorating combo of citrus notes/cardamom. The drydown is an unremarkable tea scent. Lays close to skin – would be safe for close quarters environments.
Quick Thoughts – tea, clean, citrus, casual

  24. :

    4 out of 5

Very fresh and pleasant smell. Tea is the most dominant note for me followed by the bergamot. Overall it’s a bit soapy but not too boring; nice everyday one for the warmer season. Fits the vibe of the Bvlgari’s Tea range.

  25. :

    5 out of 5

This used to be my favourite scent and it’s what turned me on to the fresher, more citrusy perfumes out there. I love how it gives you the run of the mill fresh floral notes but cuts it with masculine lime and woody undertones. It feels “cool” to wear it.
When Burberry launched their campaign for this fragrance, they had an edgy looking model with short spiky hair to represent it. I think that describes it perfectly. Pretty with an edge.

  26. :

    4 out of 5

The citrus in this is way too sour and BO like on my skin. To be fair I did get it at a discount store so maybe the bottle had turned. Or just doesn’t go with my skin chemistry.

  27. :

    3 out of 5

The Beat is a warm, gentle, well blended perfume. If I will relate it to a music, I’d rather say it’s a quiet and gentle type. I don’t get much of the tea which many people describe it as dominant in the opening, every notes just perfectly mixed together. All I feel about this perfume is soft and comfortable, a good choice for the intimate moments? Yes, for me!

  28. :

    5 out of 5

Anything Agyness Deyn has been the face of is bound to speak to me and this is no exception. There is a coolness about this scent without being rebellious or tryhard. It’s just a bit aloof, a bit “so what”. It’s the type of scent that is excellently paired with minimal makeup and wet hair (and a leather jacket with nothing underneath). Unconventional.
The tea note certainly stands out, it is definitely realistic. The pink pepper in this composition just serves to potentiate the freshness and adds a bit of attitude, it does not make me nauseous. Plenty of bergamot, mandarin and a bit of spice seal the deal. It is however more sheer than this array of nose-burning in-your-face notes would suggest, airy, lots of breathing room and I think that is what prevents it from parodizing itself. I really like it, but I still have a feeling that I would not reach for it that often, I would have to be in a certain mood.
Smelling this on a guy would be awesome too, by the way.

  29. :

    3 out of 5

Bergamot is what kicks in first on me. It is not overwhelming though – that’s why it’s safe for work, job interviews, etc. Non-offensive. Base notes are complimenting to bergamot pretty well.
Not mind-blowing, but very pleasant. Don’t expect much from it.

  30. :

    5 out of 5

Very unique, different perfume but not in a good way. It’s powdery, sweet (in a non-fruit way), and peppery/woody. There is some citrus going on in there but the powdery, sweet woody notes are the star. When I first bought this, I loved it. But then I saw a review that said it smells like a plastic doll head. That ruined this perfume for me! I could never see it the same way again! Because it really DOES smells like a powdery plastic barbie head/the barbie’s hair. I just couldn’t place what I was smelling until I saw that review.

  31. :

    4 out of 5

Burberry The Beat is a pleasant perfume, but not particularly special in my opinion. Upon spraying, I could definitely pick up on the orange/bergamont/cardamom – which was nice while it lasted. After a couple of hours though, it turned into a rather straightforward tea scent on my skin. Not bad, but nothing remarkable either. It’s a nice, soft scent that stays close to the skin and lasts about 8-9 hours on my skin. I would consider a safe choice for a work/school environment.

I simply don’t like it. But i like the bottle, it’s cute.

  33. :

Simply wonderful. The musk grows quit overpowering on me one hour after initial spray but I dont mind. It is a beautiful representation of floral woody musk line.

I get this without much thinking, it’s wonderful fragrance. People on work always ask me what am i wearing and i say Burberry the beat why? They all said they like this one a lot and that kind of surprised me because didn’t think it is something special or people will like this so much. Now 5 people went and bough this too and mine is almost empty so i will go and repurchase too. Very long lasting on me and even in afternoons people still smell this on even if i can’t. Go and check it out!!!
    8/10

  38. :

Wow is this wonderful! I didn’t expect to like this as well as I do. Refreshing, lightly sweetened, citrus tea. There is something else here that I can’t quite place, I noticed someone else mentioned that as well. This actually reminds me of the healing garden’s green tea therapy which I loved as a 14 yr old in the late 90’s. The pepper is not very prominent to me at all, this is soft, fresh and ever so slightly resembles a masculine scent. The composition is very masculine but sweetened and softened up for a woman. Another hit from this house, I have yet to try a bad Burberry.

  39. :

    5 out of 5

I love this. Fresh citrus burst combined with light spice at first dying down to softer citrus, bergamot and something else I can’t put my finger on. Definitely a morning perfume for me. The different notes in this scent seem well balanced. Young, optimistic but complicated. Not sweet on my skin. Feminine but in an innocent way. One of my favourites.

  40. :

    3 out of 5

This is lovely, it’s a scent for a young, fun woman. Definitely smells of tea and citrus.

  41. :

    3 out of 5

We own and enjoy quite a few Burberry fragrances, so I tried this, too. Sadly not for me. This one smells like lemon pepper seasoning in the drydown. The orange fragrance note does not soar above the pepper note.

  42. :

    4 out of 5

    I didn’t find it sour,sharp or zesty
As a tea scents lover I liked it,a nice tea, citruses, iris, musk combination..it’s refreshing, bright, clean and interesting..I like how musk adds sweetness and rounds sharpness of citrus tea and spices are a great combination to powdery iris
It’s wearable in all seasons except winter,is versatile and a nice casual fragrance with moderate projection
Til now I’ve liked all burberry perfumes for women

  43. :

    5 out of 5

Very sweet and pop smell! Very poor longevity.

  44. :

    4 out of 5

It has the vibe of the Brit but it is much more straightforward. It starts sharp very very citrusy with a hint of spice. It takes quite a while for it to calm down to sweet-sour ice tea scent. Too sweet, too sour, too citrusy, too generic for me to love it but nevertheless I find it fresh and crispy. Not bad for a ” wake-up” scent but you should be a citrus fragrance lover to really appreciate this one. I would hit the “neutral” button but ok, I agree, it can be quite likeable at times. The longevity and sillage are good.

I had this as a teenager because I was in love with the marketing and the idea of pink pepper. Looking back, I see that neither actually delivered. This is an unremarkable formula: there’s nothing to smell here, move along. I neither like it or dislike it…there’s really nothing more to say.
Longevity was poor, sillage was overbearing.

  47. :

    5 out of 5

I love this but unfortunately the sillage seems to be very poor.
I love tea scents, any spices (cardamom!) pepper (either pink or black) and bergamot. I’m learning to like iris.
It is lovely and beautiful, but I wish it were louder.

  48. :

    5 out of 5

Finally got to test this one out, and like the reviewer below, I was a bit put off at first because the opening smelled almost sour to me. I’m not totally sure what I was expecting, maybe that this would be a sweeter fragrance, but I would say it actually has a unisex, sporty feel to it. Could be the vetiver coming through? Once I reconciled my expectations with the reality of the fragrance, I quite enjoyed it. “Fresh spicy” definitely comes to mind, but the pepperiness is not so great that it would offend anyone. No single note overpowers the others so that you smell like oranges, or tea, or pink pepper, respectively. I get more of a woody, slightly spicy citrus. In fact, I would say this is a perfect office-friendly fragrance for spring and summer, maybe even fall. Sillage was moderate on me. I got a good six hours of longevity out of it before it became more of a skin scent, but I could still catch whiffs of it after that.

  49. :

    5 out of 5

Pleasant surprise for a blind buy. There was a hint of sourness that I initially found troubling but I enjoy this now.
Lush citrus, tea and bergamot. It is very vibrant and uplifting. The tea with the mandarin and pink pepper remind me of a citrus iced tea drink with pomegranate and a hint of sugar- thirst quenching and delicious. There is a tangy sweetness from the mandarin, an elegant coolness from the tea, and the bergamot gives it some freshness. The florals give it body, and the woods and spices make for a lovely, unexpectedly warm and embracing dry down. Just what you want on a warm summer afternoon, first refreshment, and later a warm dry down to keep you cozy as the evening gets cooler.
This is nice for certain moods/ certain weathers. For me, not for everyday. Good for working out or keeping in your bag for when you forget perfume as the bottle is quite compact, elegant and sporty (I have the 50mL). Sillage is moderate, as is longevity- it is not terribly long lasting, maybe a few hours. Solid 6.5/10.

I really wanted to like this, as I like most of Burberry’s, but this one was just soooo peppery and harsh. I wish I got from it what most of you get… I think my nose must be sensitive to pink pepper 🙁

  52. :

In the beginning – very sweet, i feel just the basics (quite significantly) When the smell is releasing, scent is much more interesting. In my opinion: Suitable for autumn and winter, it warms.
    * Zo začiatku veľmi sladká, cítiť len základ a dosť výrazne, časom keď sa vôňa uvolní je oveľa zaujmavejšia. Vhodná na jeseň a zimu, zahreje.

Bought a tester because of the reviews here – but is the tester EDT or parfum? Doesn’t say. Doesn’t matter. This perfume rocks. Attaches itself with an alcohol-sweet too-much-to-decipher explosion then quickly devolves into a warm yet light effervescence of beauty. What’s in it? I’m no good at that. But this smells divine.
My skin chemistry eats perfume. The best perfume is useless if it doesn’t last. Putting perfume on clothes or hair for longevity – not ideal. It’s the way perfume melds with one’s skin which makes perfume unique otherwise we may as well all use the same scent to smell the same way.
So far so good (an hour later and it smells even better!). Keep smelling my wrist and smiling. O’ Happy Day!

    Love at first sniff.
Bought it right away. Long lasting. Perfect Summer scent. 🙂
I was at first worried it’ll turn sour on my skin, but it did not! Got to love Burberry The Beat!

  58. :

    3 out of 5

This one works SO well in Spring!
It’s May now and I’ve been wearing The Beat religiously. With the green sweetness it goes perfectly with warmer weather and windy days help with sillage. It’s energizing and full of character, uplifting, with bergamot and cardamom boosting the fresh notes.
The base is lovely, quite strong and warm. It makes me look forward to putting it on the next morning.

  59. :

    4 out of 5

I love all Burberry perfumes and they all smell a bit same: very expensive 🙂
The beat opens with a blast of citrus notes mixed up with cardamom (which could be perceived as harsh by some) and it’s all very sparkly and uplifting. The heart is beautiful and sweet (not modern gag-reflex sweet, nice-sweet very expensive sweet)with this gorgeous note of iris (white iris to be precise) which stays all the way through dry down. The longevity is very good, I’d say 8 to 10 hours on skin and more than 20 on hair (but then of course it washes off during a shower). I’d recommend this scent to anyone.

  60. :

    4 out of 5

i love the beat is peppery and clean and super modern i love the bottle and most of all i love that is a skin scent , i think the ad work really sums up the kind of feeling you get when you wear this is super modern
sadly sillage is basically none existent besides that is very good friendly yet interesting fragrance

I was 16 when I received this-my very first perfume-on my birthday. Gosh! I remember being totally clueless about the perfume world, but, one day at a department store, I knew that it was what I wanted. The smell is definitely not a typical girly, fruity or candy like. It is sophisticated and made me feel like a grown-up. Haha! On me, at first, it projects a delicate citrus scent with a hint of spiciness, quite energizing actually. Then, it follows with a fine powdery dry down of subtle floral, woody and musky combo. Lasting all day, one spray is enough, for me of course. I find this perfume rather warm; it suits best for Fall while wearing a cozy, light or stylish (Burberry!) scarf. 😛

  65. :

An unique fragrance which is different from all other perfume I’d ever tried. It’s so fresh and slightly spicy at the beginning. You can’t find any tenderness, sweetness or softness in it. After about 15 minutes, it comes to incredibly cozy.
But…… why dose it remind me of a kind of tooth powder I had used (It’s really weird I know.Haha !!)since there’s no mint in it?

  66. :

    5 out of 5

Beat is strong and high quality. I think this is def a one spritz fragrance for me, two is overpowering. The orange and bergamont are really nice in the beginning but don’t last long…now we have a floral/tea/pepper woodsy blend. The iris seems to scream on my skin and it’s a little too intense.
I like it but I’m not in love with it…of course I’m testing it in the dead of winter and I’ve been told this is more of a late summer scent or maybe fall, so i think i’ll like it more that time of year.

the nutty cardamom was very prominent on me, which unfortunately was something I didn’t enjoy. But I can see why others would be attracted to this scent. It is interesting, just not for me.

The Beat is a nice summer/fall fragrance. On me starts with strong pepper blast and a little bit of green tea so, I would say, it’s more on the sharp spicy side then fresh, like some fragranticians described it, and all that on a soft, powdery base. I don’t get much of that tangerine which is a great thing because it tends to smell like somebody spilt a sweet wine all over me.

This scent surprised me. I have never smelled anything quite like it. I can not think of anything that this reminds me of, and that is a good thing.
It is fresh but deep, soft yet ornate. Like a lovely song that continues to play, I don’t seem to tire of this alluring, sensual smell.

It smells nice on other people, but sniffing it right from the skin I find it too salty and tangy for my liking. I’ll stick with Burberry Brit.
EDIT: I tried wearing it in colder months. Love it!

Tangy and soft spicy with a little tea, on a musky-woodsy base. This reminds me of taking a brisk walk in the fall, wearing a light sweater and boots, crunching the dried leaves on the sidewalk. Then coming inside to have something sweet spicy and warm to drink.

I didn’t expect it to be so so musky and strong. I think vetiver is also very dominant here. I am surprised because it’s the only one of Burberry’s fragrances I don’t find any good at all.
It is sweet and spicy but I don’t get any tea notes from it.
    Good, for someone else.

Initially, I did not care for the Beat but I literally warmed up to it – that is, with the heat of summer, it transformed from a synthetic-smelling (and on me slightly head-ache inducing) sporty fresh/spicy to a soft, sweet, creamy and sort of peachy scent which I could really enjoy. So it has been my go-to scent this summer, not because it is the best perfume I have but because it is the perfume I have which is most flattered by hot weather. It has good durability and moderate to medium sillage – all in all perfect for a hot day or evening out and about.

I decided last year to buy this perfume for summer. I think this is a marvellous summer scent, powdery but not too heavy and like a love child of Rihanna’s Nude (vanilla and flowers) with the slighty green tang of Boss Woman.
The woodsy base is stronger though, and it comes through right from the start. It’s the only one of the Burberry line I like and wear. It can be worn everyday during summer and autumn, but I feel that the middle notes disappear a bit soon for an Eau de Parfum.

Very “sporty” and good for hot summer days. I’ll definitely be keeping this one on hand in the gym 🙂

I bought burberry the beat for my sister. Thank god, she loves it. She even put it in her top list even she has a ton of perfumes. Citrusy note really suit the hot humid weather in my country. My sister said it last all day on her skin which makes her loves it. The bottle is sleek and easy for her to carry with during her vacation.

This perfume is so complex. One minute, it’s saying, “I’m edgy and aloof”, but the next minute, “Just kidding. I’m warm and cuddly.” I get a lot of compliments with this perfume. I think I was drawn to its duality, but I guess I’m not the only one!

I love the ‘cute and shy’ side of this fragrance more than everything.
Warm, powdery and slightly spicy, The Beat suits every occasion. Bottle is pretty as well.
Great fragrance! Smells like a very expensive piece of cloth.

At first sniff I thought this smelled exactly like Tommy Girl, which I wore faithfully when I was in college. The scent has that same slightly peppery, bubbly quality that Tommy Girl does. After putting it on, I found that the scent did soften considerably, becoming much more powdery, but still smelling an awful lot like Tommy Girl. Half an hour later the scent is nearly gone. The overall assessment? This is a pretty scent, but it fades far too quickly. I need more than a half hour’s wear from my perfume.

I actually smelled this perfume on a total stranger but had to ask her what it was since I basically fell in lovee with it. Then finally I purchased it and I got alot of compliments on it! The smell is fresh and floral and a little citrusy. I usally carry it in my purse and spray it every 3 hours. But it can easily be smelled when I walk into a room or flip my hair. It is really sticks to your clothes and the longetivty is pretty good . It is definettly my signature scent and I love it. Its the type of perfume you just cant get enough of! So basically I would definetly recomend this perfume it is one of my faves.

Fresh and very uplifting, puts a spring into your step! It’s unique and gets noticed, can be worn easily but I love it in the spring the most!
The tea note in this is perfection, and the citrus is there but not loud and in your face!
It’s feminine enough but not very girly!
It has a certain confident, classy presence and any age could carry it!
Moderate silage and longevity, can’t understand why they are discontinuing it!!!

I love this scent! When I first sniffed it, an image came to my mind: I was wearing a light, floral, summer dress, walking by the river on a hot late afternoon, hand in hand with my beautiful husband and we were enjoying life. Mind you, it was winter and I don’t even have a boyfriend 🙂 But this scent provoked such a beautiful feeling in me that I just had to have it! I love it, but I wouldn’t call it my signature scent, but rather a wonderful experience…

Beautiful combination of notes. Fresh, musk, tea, bergamot, and light iris…and although the pink pepper is a nice touch, it might make those around you sneeze. I’ve honestly noticed people compliment yet sneeze around me when I wear this.

When I first sprayed this I wasn’t sure. I love The Beat Eau de Toilette and the notes are slightly similar only obviously this Eau de Parfum is much stronger. It’s citrusy at first then mellows into a rather spicy little number and then a soft warm but clean smell. Not overly flowery and at first I thought no this is not for me but I kind of like it because it smells a bit different than other perfumes. Some scents blend into one another and could be anything but this smell is quite distinctive and the more I smell it on me the more I like it! 🙂

Looking at the ad. and the bottle I got a completely different vibe from this perfume. It surprisingly sweent and not fresh at all (which I personally thought it would be). I dont really even know what type of women is it for. Just strange and hard to pin-point.
