Teazzurra for me is FB-worthy. It is one of my favorite tea scents, even better to me than the higher rated Bvlgari tea perfumes (I have bleu and rouge). It smells so light and fresh and feels uplifting. The scent just keeps getting better. This spurred my three other Aqua Allegoria blind buys.

It was a blind buy from me, because I have a really bad case of FOMO-if I hear a Guerlain gets discontinued I try and buy it if I can. In the case of Teazzurra this was lucky as I really, really like it. I think its perfect for summer so always get it out of the box around May or June. It is a nice, light, herbal and fresh scent, very simple in a good way. I love the green tea in this and it is so easy to wear on chilled summer days when I just want to smell fresh and nice. After all not every day can be a Shalimar day(or any other powerhouse). Every time I wear it it makes me feel I am on a beach somewhere, not a tropical beach, but somewhere like a botanical garden by the beach. Happy to have it and happy to wear it.

Fresh, aromatic. The Guerlain lover I usually am would have something magical to say. Unfortunately in this case I do not. It’s a bit weird to me. Not something I usually buy or would want. I don’t hate it, but I do not love it.
It’s just ok. I’d say it’s good for spring and summer days. Performance get a C. Very unisex fragrance.

It smells amazing on the blotter, but on my skin and my mom’s it smells like a shoe box, more pungent on mom than me, somewhat leathery, I wonder why is that…

I bought a bottle of Teazzurra without testing it properly when it came out, just because I liked the look of the note list and the lovely bottle with its blue liquid, and my first impression in the store was positive. So more or less an impulse buy, fueled by the fact that I fancied the idea of starting a little collection of Aqua Allegorias after falling in love with Limon Verde the year before, which was when I was starting to explore the perfume world more seriously. And although I still like that idea very much, I have become more selective now that my interest in perfumes has grown exponentially but my wealth and available space have not. So my bottle of Teazzurra has left my collection, and I’ve only kept a little decant for occasional use, because In the end I just don’t really love it.
Don’t get me wrong, though, I still think this is very nice, and when I do use it from time to time, there always comes a point in the early heart of the development where I wonder what came over me when I swapped this away. The opening with its mix of fresh citrus and cool green tea is nice but not very remarkable, and the same goes for the softly sweet herbal drydown. But the transition between these two is where the magic happens, at least to my nose: I think the camomille note comes out wonderfully here, and its herbal/floral character blends very well with the other notes, making a smooth, rather original whole that’s perfect for spring and summer. Others on this page have compared it to a cold glass of iced jasmine tea, and at its best I think that nails it perfectly. It’s too bad this phase doesn’t last very long, so overall this is just a strong like for me.

Guerlain’s Teazzura is a gorgeous, sparkling iced chamomile-vanilla tea with huge wedges of fresh lemon served with joy by the gracious hostess of a breezy, warm Mediterranean Summer brunch. Everyone is laughing under the warm sun, the scent of delicate chamomile tea blended with the sweetness of a sheer lemony vanilla wafting about in light-hearted beauty. There is a warm green to her that I find charming and delicate.
    Fragrance: 9/10
Sillage: Soft to Moderate (if applied to textiles/ hair as well)
Projection: begins moderate and winds-up a skin-scent after a few hours (I don’t mind reapplying though)
Longevity: A few to several hours (not bad for this type of scent, I might add)
    Bottle: 8/10
Delicate and charming, if you’re searching for a beast-mode fragrance that screams “look at me” to everyone in a ten-mile radius, this may not be your cup of tea (see what I did there?)
Though I find the fragrance VERY fleeting on skin alone, it seems to last and LAST when applied to hair and textiles.
Value = Superb. Found mine for about $40 brand new (4.2 oz).
I prefer her best in warmer/hot and/or humid weather.

It is one of the best tea-scent fragrances I have ever used. I can feel the scent of fresh tea with sparking citrus at the beginning, and then I get a tender scent of chamomile until the dry-down. In addition, I can feel the vanilla note in this perfume. It is the high-quality vanilla which appears in many Guerlain perfumes that I deeply love. The longevity of the perfume is very good, about 7 – 8 hours on my skin. Its moderate projection can let me overly spray without attention of anybody surrounding me. 🙂

It was fresh a bit citrussy scent, I am not a fan of this cathegory of perfumes so i passed my sample away.

The fragrance opens with citrus notes. A zesty, bittersweet smell. After a while the green tea appears, followed by chamomile. A fresh but warm composition. The tea note is quiet, green. Chamomile calms the bittersweetness given by citrus and lights it up.
It is a citrus aromatic fragrance, not only a citrus one. It is not zesty, sparkling composition. Teazzurra is warm, spice and bright. It dries down to chamomile and musk. It is more like a skin scent.
If you want a light, quiet scent with a hint of tea and chamomile, Teazzurra may be your choice. A fragrance for summer.

Fragrance tea / citrus, fresh, pretty, herbal, very fine, with a delicate aroma, but also very languid that lasts half a sigh, like almost all waters allegories of Guerlain.
    Passable!!

I’m a Guerlain fangirl, but even such a respected perfume house is bound to release a dud once in a while. Actually, the entire Aqua Allegoria series is overpriced for what it is – a collection of mild, unremarkable everyday fragrances. Still, I was hoping that I might like Teazzura… Alas, no. It does start relatively promisingly (even though it is way too similar to Elizabeth Arden’s Green Tea line), with chamomile and green tea notes infused with lemon. However, the letdown arrives after half an hour or so, because the base notes are quite pale and fleeting. As a result, this fragrance disappears from my skin in less than an hour.

Lovely summer fragrance…I get chamomile flowers and jasmine, touched by a light breeze…I don’t get any citrus notes at all…pure summer meadow…worth trying!

I bought this perfume on a hot and humid summer day in Toronto, when I craved something fresh, elegant, and unique. I was totally in love with this fragrance, as it has a great softness to it with a lovely fresh spiciness. However, when I returned to milder temperatures of London, this absolutely did not work. It actually nauseated me when I wore it to work, although I still got a compliment from a colleague. I agree with others below, this perfume is delicious on a hot humid day. Unfortunately, that means I can only enjoy it on holiday.

At the beginning I was enamoured by the idea of a “blue” Aqua Allegoria… My initial reaction to the scent was “like”, followed by “too much tea!!” I found it weird, a very weird perfume that set me off balance. It did not remind me of the Mediterranean, it just didn’t seem to work as a fragrance. Fast-forward several weeks, it’s a hot day, I’m wearing a light turquoise shirt, the exact colour of this perfume. “What the hell” I think, deciding to spritz my sample of Teazzurra all over me. As I’m driving in the car, I decide that I really like it. At the function I’m at, I just can’t get enough of the scent! It’s unusual, unique and totally fitting for those days when it’s silly hot and you just want to go swimming. Since then my little sample has been used up, and I’m craving it! It’s summer, here in Australia, and I want nothing more than to bathe in the otherworldly aroma of Teazzurra…

I like it, it’s a unique fragrance with dominant notes of green tea and chamomile. Sometimes it smells like a herbal candy or a herbal bubble gum. Sweet, fresh, feminine, unique scent for hot summer months. It stays close to the skin and lasts for about 4-5 hours on skin.

It’s a wonderful, sunny, “Mediterranean” holiday perfume that develops beautifully but only until a certain moment at which… it becomes awful. Cheap, artificial, chemical-smelling… What a shame! Mr Guerlain, you’ve ruined your own masterpiece! Why, oh why? Why such poor basenotes? It would be one of my favorites otherwise, as I am a huge fan of anything green, citrus, fresh, ozonic, aquatic etc. I suggest releasing a re-mastered version of this but with some more sophisticated base notes, something more natural, like vetyver, basil, oakmoss maybe… 🙂

Pleasing tea fragrance. Ever-so-slightly soapy. I can definitely sense the calone, as well as a lactonic character that adds a certain type of creaminess without going full coconut sun lotion. The citrus notes are not overpowering or even sharp, which is unusual. There’s just the right amount of jasmine. Nice.

    What can I say?
This is refreshing. Uplifting but not overpowering. Dynamic but calming. Sweet but sassy. Fresh and plesant. Ladies and gentlemen, Guerlain has succeeded to put Zen into a bottle.
I live in the tropics where this kind of scent of EDT wont last long. This one lasts for 6 hours with pretty and fresh drydown.
It opens as fruity-aquatic to my surprise. Because normally any member of citruses family leaves me with bitter and tangy smell, almost toilet cleaner like aroma. But Teazzura does not. The middle not lasts for about 4 hours, trails and makes very good projection. I got a lot of compliments during hot, humid day. Another surprise. The middle note is pleasant, charming, elegant. Very good balance between fruity/citrus-y – ozonic-aquatic-floral-vanilla.
The vanilla is almost powdery without sickening sweetness it normally projects in a hot, humid climate.
The drydown is beautiful. I dont wash my clothes immediately after using Teazzura. I leave it in the hamper for a while because it deodorizes the other clothes!
Well made, well composed fragrance 🙂

A blind buy for me. First spritz smacked me in the face with a large cup of Chamomile and Green Tea, which was quite a fright! The acidic tannin in tea makes me feel sick, and that was exactly what I got for the first twenty minutes or so. I thought that I might have to scrub it off, but decided that patience is the best option, so…
After giving this some time, I now smell of salty sweet sweat on my wrist, delicately wrapped in a gentle flower! I’m betting the sweaty salty bit is the musk. For the most part, I don’t react well with it, but you never know. I am going to give it a go because there is something about this that I find quite addictive. I think it is the salty, lemony flowery thing, which is making me want to lick my wrist (gawd… this is getting a bit silly).
Anyway, I do like the strange tea and can see light at the end of the tunnel. It is gradually turning more floral and has a tremendously strong foundation with the tea thing. I do like the more unusual scents and after all of the odd scents and pathways that this creates with my chemistry, it is developing into a keeper for me.
Lasting power is very poor – around 20 – 30 mins. Better on fabric. GAH!

My first choice for summer fragrance. I fell in love immediately when it came out in 2015.
After spraying I get a lot of tea, it’s freshly brewed tea with a wonderful note of yasmine and a sparkling citrus. Little later joins a tender vanilla and makes the fragrance so charming und smooth. Teazzurra is tender and refreshing at the same time and very longlasting. I was asked a few times what I was wearing and people told me I smell like a flowery summermeadow. Wonderful smell and absolutely unique.

This fragrance is the answer to my yearning of late for a scent that checks all the boxes: Fresh, somewhat sweet, soft – but lingering!, and nothing heavy on jasmine, orange peels, or woods.
Teazzura has three layers that stand out to me, I think their dominance will depend on your body chemistry.
Layer one: Soft, sweet, vanillic-powder-puff Guerlainade. Something like the secret ingredient that’s in Shalimar Parfum Initial Si Sensuelle. (I get a lot of the same DNA!)
Layer two: Soothing chamomile tea – not herbal or sharp in the slightest.
Layer three: The ittyest-bit of a soapy jasmine note. Something I normally don’t handle well, but enjoy in this fragrance!
For a “fresh” scent, this is nowhere near “sheer”, so spray lightly.

It’s not outstanding but it has such a fun and refreshing scent. Easy summer wear.

This fragrance opens with a blast of yuzu, too much for me, it was dizzying. However, the drydown is wonderful–sweet, warm and musky citrus tea. Debating whether I can stand the opening enough to make a FB purchase.

I like the idea of green tea fragrances…I love to drink green tea, and also it kind of symbolizes healthy relaxation to me…but have had a really hard time finding one that a) actually smells like green tea to me and not some weird chemical soup and b) doesn’t have woody undertones. If I am going to wear green tea, I want it to be light, fresh, uplifting, and soft–and that is exactly what Teazzurra is.
The vanilla is there from the time the top notes settle to the end of the wearing; I think that is kind of unique in a green tea scent and it’s pretty wonderful; it softens the whole effect and makes it very wearable for me. Although not listed, there is almost a minty note mixed with the vanilla, like the white TicTac candies.
I smell the same kind of bergamot that is present in Shalimar Parfum Initial L’Eau, alongside a sour lemon (like you would squeeze into some green tea!) and a beautiful realistic hint of jasmine that support the star note, which of course is green tea. Heavenly for summer and warm days in spring!

Totally agree with sumandre’s comment. Nonetheless, I will certainly purchase a bottle of this and will make it my summer fragrance. If you like light, green, innocent cologne, go for it. Perfect for hot summer days. It’s a generic, classic (and classy) scent.

When I first sprayed this on the very first thing I smelled was the very sweet jasmine and chamomile. Then suddenly, as though a flip was switched I smelt a green tea citrus explosion! Eventually the citrus dies and you are left with sweet flowers again with a crisp green tea musk. This fragrance is made like cologne, not particularly long lasting nor has strong silage. I love the scent though it just makes me so happy! This reminds me of vacationing in florida, being outside on a beautiful day, and summer.
I would very much like to buy this if I could find a good deal.

  32. :

The top notes are great but then, it turns into something really generic. This has been done, over and over again… Citrus fig over soft musky base. Next…

Testing this, I initially thought it was a winner. I loved the fresh opening and the blast of grapefruit.
Sadly, the freshness faded too quickly and all I smell is sweet violets (like the little purple sweets),similar to Ultraviolet by Paco Rabanne.
It’s a very nice fragrance, just a shame the freshness didn’t last a bit longer.
I suppose that’s the problem with citrus notes, they don’t seem to last long.

Loving this!!! It reminds me of a combination of Lanvin’s “Oxygen” and any green tea/jasmine fragrance.. Comforting!!!

Teazzurra by Guerlain opens with a bright splash of citrus (lime zest), a soft jasmine note, and what I can only describe as a green musk. The yuzu is quite noticeable and plays out as a combination of grapefruit and pineapple. The green tea accord slides into view along with a large dose of aquatic musk as the pleasant fruity-floral aspect fades. I do not like this musk at all. To be fair, ‘calone’ is listed as one of the notes and this could be taken as a warning or perhaps a cheeky apology.
Although I wanted to scrub Teazzurra about five minutes after spraying, I suffered through three hours of wear along with some additional sprays to re-examine the opening and decide if this is a sideways thumb or a ‘thumbs down’. Most of the time, if I dislike a fragrance, I try to examine why I don’t like it and sort out if it is just a matter of personal taste or if the fragrance truly is lame. Here is my list of complaints:
