I just bought it yesterday, i didn’t know anything about it. but it was on sale 50% off due to father’s day. i had heard it was a clone of GIT, i blind bought it, when i got home and i tried it on, oh boy! my jaw dropped to the floor. the smell is very very good, it is very similar to GIT not in the opening though, you have to wait some minutes then you can not tell the difference between both of them. like someone mention in a previous review it is a hidden gem! I am going back tomorrow and buy another 2 or 3 bottles. with the fathers day discount they are around 8 usdlls

I bought tres nuit on sale, and i gotta tell you there is no difference between these two.
if you want to smell like GIT and you think tres nuit is the best clon, think again.. stag black has the same juice and the same performance but it is half the price, so if you see stag black on the shelf don’t think twice and buy it.
also ifishares and the scentinel say so on their youtube review

This is better than Tres de Nuit, the only reason this doesn’t get much love and attention is because the bottle is so cheap and ugly, the bottle aestehtics plays a role too !!
FACT: Sterling Perfumes is the parent company of conglomerates Armaf, Estiara and some others.

If Estiara Black Stag is the same juice as Armaf Tres Nuit, it is somewhat cheaper. Somewhat means half the price. Sterling Perfumes owns both Armaf and Estiara so it’s quite possible that the juice is the same.. The Estiara Frag seems to be a lot better deal.
I also consider Estiara Black Stag to be a better EDT than Estiara White Stag.
The fragrance opens quite strong and pleasant with iris, lemon and verbena. A little time later you notice a growing violet note. I kind of detect a very faint lavender and no spices at all. This is a very pleasant phase and it lasts for an hour or so.
While you still notice the fainting iris, verbena and citrus notes (as well the still strong violet), you do feel the growing dry out notes of grey amber and sandalwood.
After one hour and a half the opening and heart notes are faint and you get mostly the pleasant bottom notes.
Longevity is average and the sillage is bellow average. You need to respray at least once for an usage of 8 hours. If you spray your clothes you will get a better performance and may avoid the respray.
In summary, it is quite a decent frag, a bit outdated but nevertheless agreable, It’s quite versatile and you may wear it at anytime and anyplace. Don’t expect many or even a few compliments. You will smell good but will not stand out.
The scent is similar to the Creed counterpart. Creed GIT is also a so so performer in what concerns sillage, and the longevity is not brilliant either. I don’t consider GIT to be a compliment magnet as well. Between the two frags I would consider to buy… none of them again. But if you want to feel the GIT vibe sometimes… well the Estiara frag costs 20 times less.

According to @ifishares this is the same juice as Armaf Tres Nuit. Both Estiara and Armaf are brands under Sterling Parfums. Even the note pyramid is the same. But also please check out @JamiesonB ‘s review below — maybe there is a difference.

I bought this and Stag White last July 2017 for £7.80 each. I Agree with JamiesonB. This is certainly a hidden gem. Longevity on me is great.

When it comes to GIT clones, Tres Nuit gets all the love and attention from the frag heads, with untold gushing reviews on YouTube and the boards and Stag Black is virtually ignored.
As Sterling Perfumes own both Armaf and Estiara, are they just putting the same juice in different bottles? Possibly, as the notes are identical, although I think the opening of Stag Black is slightly closer to older versions of GIT than the Armaf, but in the mid and dry down these are identical, not just similar, but totally identical.
How this doesn’t get more love from the frag community is beyond me, as it should be held in even higher regard as a GIT clone as it smells even closer to GIT because of the slightly different opening and has the same longevity and projection as the Armaf.
On top of that, it’s also about 40-50% cheaper!
