Smells like lemon. You are at a risk of smelling like dishwashing liquid or candy because this one is just lemon and nothing else. I still love it because it feels fresh and clean.

I tried all 5 members of this collection in the York shop, having never worn Jo Malone in my life and not been too impressed with the fact that the scents are not EDP. And how glad I am! This one is, as other reviewers have said, the best of the bunch, and it is wonderful! Goes on strongly lemony, yes, but it is more than that from the outset; and dries down to a gentle but still quite noticeable (about an arm’s length) sweet herby citrusy affair – a bit difficult to describe, really, as I only have one other Jo Malone (Blackberry and Bay, discovered at the same time and not quite as distinctive). Definitely not unisex, IMO – best for women. And it lasts pretty well, all things considered.

This is a lemony fragrance. Reminds me of slicing a lemon in your kitchen and squeezing it on freshly chopped herbs. It is v refreshing and I really really like it..however if you are looking for a stand out scent this is not it.. However if you are looking for a stand out scent this isn’t. Jo Malone Lime and basil is a standout scent as there is no other like it. However lovely as this one is, it is by no means unique.. The concept is but the fragrance is a beautiful refreshing lemony scent. But you can find another which is similar. Yes felt like the best of this collection

Huge fan of the Jo Malone line. Not so much a fan of the performance. I purchased this a month or so ago. Today, I’m taking it on it’s first test run. Hopefully, the longevity will be at least decent. Starts off SUPER lemony. But, as it dries down, the herbs come to the front. The herbs and lemon blend together VERY well. Again, love the way it smells. Hope it holds up.

Honestly, I would just get all five of them just for the idea of this collection, or you could wait another century for something as unique and precious as these lol.
Very citrusy and drys down beautifully. It goes with English Pear and freesia or even lime basil and mandarin.
Jo Malone + herb = divine. Probably my favorite seasonal perfume ever from Jo Malone.

I love to cook with sorrel (called rumex in the notes) – it is a leafy green herb with a tangy lemon bite and a hint of bitterness. It’s used in Eastern Europe to makes soups, and while it’s a bit of an acquired taste, I think it’s very underrated. Jo Malone’s Sorrel & Lemon Thyme opens VERY lemony – almost teetering on the edge of lemon window cleaner, but fortunately not quite there. It settles down to a more natural lemon with a lot of green, fresh herbs. The sorrel provides just the perfect bitter edge – barely there, but it makes a difference. An extremely realistic scent, and something different compared to other citrus and “green” fragrances. I bought a bottle because I didn’t have anything like it at all – it’s not the overwhelming green-bomb of Aromatics Elixir or the brutal green leather of Bandit, nor is it so lemony as to be considered a sweet fruity scent. This one’s a winner and edged out Parsley & Wild Strawberry for best in the collection, IMHO.

This fragrance smells very natural. At the beginning the lemon scent is obvious like what it’s named after, it’s so fresh that revives me instantly. The lemon notes dry down but are still there and I can smell rosemary shortly after. The only thing is that, as with most Jo Malone colognes, it doesn’t last very long at all. A very fresh one and is perfect for summer to conclude.
