This is wonderful!! I love the delicate, feminine mixture of florals – sweet and light – and the papyrus which gives a gorgeous green touch. It’s unusual, which I love, and it does take time to get to know it properly. I’ve grown to love it more and more, over a few weeks. It’s very special. Very nice balsamic feeling, comforting, with a lovely woody undertone. The elemi is lovely! It has a gorgeous herby aroma. Very unique and lovely perfume. Good quality. I really love it. Very stylish, and a little masculine, which is good.
And what a glorious bottle! All the bottles of this House are incredibly gorgeous sculptures!!!! I would have Songe Pour Elle JUST for the bottle it’s so fabulous! I would have all Majda Bekkal perfumes just for the bottles……. if I could!!!!!

I bought a sample of this on Luckyscent.com. Can’t decipher if its J’ai Fait un Reve- Elle because that is what was sampled unto me. After having a hot bath, I applied it and the dry-down smells pepperish and lightly musky. It’s a unique decadant however was looking for that certain element which will have given it a little umph! It’s okay in my book!

I am quite smitten with this, which surprises me as it is not my genre. This has hints of a ‘white floral’, but wears more as a ‘south pacific’ floral then a bombastic garden variety.
It’s sweet, which you can tell from the notes. I don’t get a strong woody base, nor anything else that suggests edgy. This is a very unique, high quality, feminine fragrance. I think it speaks to me so well because of the green vibe (papyrus). It add a twist to the sweetness; a touch of sharpness. I’ve given it two months between wearings and my opinion remains unchanged: I love it.

Tha fragrance is an oriental, balsamic sweet, floral, with elemi pronounced (smells close to pine) and hints of spices, pleasant woody background. I like it, but to love it you should wear it little longer and get familiar with all its nuances. This is a quiet stylish fragrance. It’s lighter when you just applied it, with time flowers fade and the oriental resins smell stronger, but in general their mix is not thick, it’s very pleasant. Elemi gives a masculine hint to the composition.
