Description
For the summer season of 2015, Lancaster launches a new fragrance called Sole Di Capri. The fragrance is inspired by summer holidays, enjoyment and leisure in the sun. It was created specifically so that it can be worn on the beach under direct sunlight.
Sole Di Capri is a floral – fruity cocktail that opens with a mixture of Italian citrus and ripe Mediterranean fig. Sunny notes of white flowers, tiare, tuberose and ylang-ylang form the heart of the perfume. Warm accords of benzoin, vetiver and cedar finish the composition.
The packaging is decorated with illustrations signed by Susanna Spelta. The collection offers 100 ml Eau de Toilette, 150 ml shower gel and 150 ml body lotion.
The nose behind this fragrance is Sonia Constant.

A lovely summer fragrance. This perfume has excellent sillage. It has a mixture of flowers and fruit but done in a very classy way. Also it is safe to wear in the sun. Love it.

It was another blind buy, but I fall in love instantly! This is one of the most summery fragrance I’ve ever tried! It is summer on the beach in a bottle! Love it! Thank you whoever created this scent!

I can’t believe this one has so few reviews! This is a delicious fragrance.
At first i get juicy, naturally smelling figs, that stay until the very end. After one hour or so i get a lushy, fleshy flowery smell. i guess it is the tuberose. At the end i get a sweet smell that i can not identify, but everything smell so great! This is very fruity but is not girly or teeny. it is so classy but at the same time has a carefree feeling to it.
On beginning it is very aquatic, like tea, but the drydown gets a bit powdery, giving it a vintage vibe (without smelling like old lady). it is conforting and beautiful.
I think that is what a roman goddess would wear at the beach.
Perfect for all ages, all personalities (without being generic!)
The bottle is very cute too.
longevity is moderate but sillage is potent, so don’t overspray. two sprays are more than enough.
It remind me slightly of Wild Elixir from Shakira because of the tea feeling.
I think if this one were from a luxus brand people would be wearing it everywhere. i am glad i bought it with lotion and shower gel.

Love this summer fragrance!! This to me is my summer holiday in Tenerife this year in a bottle. Love the fact that you can spray it on and go to the beach! I also own the Sol di Bahia version of 2014, which I also like, but this one is ME all the way 🙂

I bought this one because the bottle states: peut se porter au soleil. I’ve never had a perfume which you could safely wear to the beach and it is a great idea for us perfume addicts. In addition, this is a very nice scent, fresh fruity at first but not in a candied way, sweet and flowery after but not sticky or overwhelming. At this stage, it blends with a soft benzoin dry down, kept fresh by the inclusion of vetiver. Very wearable and extremely pleasant.
Lasts long, my t-shirt smells great after many hours, I applied on skin but it lingered to it. Very good value for money.

Aaah, this is gorgeous.
In the beginning it smells fruity but also slightly animalic, a bit like Molinard’s Nirmala. A little toned down though, otherwise it would be to much for a summer day.
When the fruit and that animalic aspect (is it the tuberose?) fade away, you’re left with something reminiscent of Elle l’Aime, just much softer and not as acidic.
I have been wearing it every day since I got it and I think I have found my perfect summer scent.

Smells like a stronger Elle l aime perhaps not as strong on the white flower which appals me. Great for summer.

It reminds me of the first Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess that I wanted back so much. It’s strange because notes are not really similar.
At the beginning it smells like a good suntan lotion, fruity and tropical but not too sweet like Escada Turquoise.Then it develops into Bronze Goddess. The dry down is very pleasant (I smell white musk, is it the benzoin that smells alike?), better than I expected, it doesn’t turn sour like Elle l’Aime does.
Overall: The only summer scent that I really like at the moment. Much better than Elle l’aime. It’s cool also that you can wear it in the sun.

A whiff, and I got a bottle along with the accompanying body lotion without hesitation!
So summery, delicious and reasonably priced.
It reminds me of Estee Lauder’s Azuree Soleil Eau Fresh Skinscent, but slightly fruitier.
The salty effect too is there, it smells like a suntan lotion the best way.
No nonsense but just the right sweetness you’d expect from such a spritz.
If you like the idea, you’ll certainly like this scent.
Ideal daytime wear for summer or whenever you like the feeling to accompany you.
