I tried this out at Sephora today. This is described as a floral musk, but the added praline makes it very sweet. I’m a little on the fence. I actually love all of the individual notes, I’m just not sure if I love them all together the way this is blended. I think the musk, praline and salt together are what other reviewers are describing as a synthetic smell. You really do have to try this on your own skin and sort of live with it first before you buy. At first I thought I wanted it because I am drawn to musks more and more these days (finally acquired Lovely), but I think I’ll pass…even though I do like it. I think I’ve realized that prefer my musk fragrances with no caramel or praline (chocolatey smell) added.

I was so excited to try this! However, it really let me down. It smells really artificial and not at all the “clean skin” I thought it would be. Totally doesn’t evoke the image of skin at all and not at all bottle worthy for me.

With one percent left on my phone I had to add since time has gone by just a half hour this is turning too chemical for my taste, too bad:( it was perfect in the first few minutes

Omg! So I asked the sales girl at Nordstrom’s for scents that smell like cotton candy and she sent me this! Yum it’s soft sweet and I do get praline or caramel it reminds me of poison girl edt a bit ???

This stuff is sexy! One word that can describe it would be sexy. Its a very subtle fragrance that doesn’t shout that you’re wearing a fragrance. It’s like clean warm skin that smells very sexy and inviting. I sampled this expecting nothing of it, and was kinda blown away at how much I love this stuff. I had to buy a bottle. Very nice.

I amp up one of the notes to the extreme. I think it’s the Tonka bean, because I like the other notes in other perfumes. That one note, I just don’t like. The rest are beautiful.
Edit: Three days later, the tonka bean and musk blend nicely on my skin and in the air. Bottle worthy.

Sweet, salty musk, somehow both strong and understated. I’m not really a fan of most Clean scents but I love this one. My skin wrecks salty scents and this one stays true; plus to me this is the ultimate no-perfume perfume. I don’t really smell like I’m wearing anything in particular, I just smell good.

I tried this a few times, as I was completely enamoured by the description. I was so let down, however. Rather than being the comfortable, warm scent I envisioned, I find it sickly sweet, and the musk is so synthetic – kind of rubbery on my skin. It gave me a headache really quickly. In fact, I’m not the biggest fan of other Clean scents. I find them all quite abrasive and artificial, though I’m always intrigued to smell them!

I lovde the way this started, with sweetness and clean musk. Tropical notes and praline followed, with a hint of lemon. I got very little musk at the end of this – mostly vanilla.

A very sweet musk with a hint of lemon and vanilla – not the heavy, cloying kind that smells like you poured vanilla extract on yourself, but rather the airy, evocative kind of vanilla left on your skin after using a sensuous shower gel. Whereas many other fragrances make me feel glamorous, like I’m clothed in beautiful outfits or regal gowns, Clean Reserve Skin makes me feel naked – comfortably so – and my utmost sexiest. This is my go-to when I want to invoke a man’s most primal desires, and it has yet to fail me…

This reminds me a LOT of Calvin Klein Reveal perfume! This is a little less salty but there’s still a cashmeran quality to the musk in this scent.
This smells like a woman fresh from the shower, but it’s still unisex enough that a man can pull it off. Surprisingly, I don’t think this is QUITE as unisex as CK Reveal for women, which I’ve stolen a spray or two of from time to time! 🙂

The top note is sweet but it’s nothing like what you’re use to. Very light sweetness and freshness.

At first this smelled very clean, soft and sweet. And it kept smelling sweet, but I quickly felt myself starting to feel a bit ill. Immediately I realized this reminded me exactly of a toned down, more polite Jovan White Musk. If you like White Musks, you will probably really enjoy this.

I really enjoy this scent. On me, it is slightly sweet with a soft musky drydown. The floral is light ; the praline and tonka give it a gentle sweetness. I get zero leather smell. I was surprised that leather is even a note in this perfume.
I have always liked delicate musk type perfumes so for me, this is very appealing and lovely.

It is what it says: Clean, fresh and with that “I just got out of the shower”-feeling. I like it a lot but I sneeze – a lot. The Musk is fresh and light, tonka gives it a bit sweetnes and I notice an airy leather-note to. No caramel, no salt. A winner infact.

I bought this on a whim because I’ve been drawn to powdery, vanilla and white floral scents as of late.
On the sample paper, it smelled delectably sweet—with a rounded note I couldn’t put a finger to. It smelled more flat on my skin.
Nonetheless, I love its clean, I-just-showered-with-milky-soap scent. The praline is barely detectable on me, but it adds dimension to the perfume which keeps it from smelling like a run-of-the-mill white musk scent.
I thought that it had weak sillage until I realized I was just used to smelling it on me for a few days. When I switched perfumes and resumed this, I can smell it all day on myself.
After 8–12 hours, especially if you’ve worked up a sweat, it dries down to a clean musk close to the skin.

This is sweet musky. Sharp and migraine inducing kind of a musk. Kind of pick bitter chocolate as well. Not a fan.

this smells amazing. I don’t get a ton of lemon. It’s mainly a soft vanilla/tonka with a hint of savory something.

I don’t get any leather or salt in this one, instead lots of sweetness and a hint of lemon. It smells a lot like lemon caramels – I get a faint vanilla as well. I find it delicious and bought it immediately.

I can get behind a salt note in a fragrance if it evokes the idea of the ocean (Sel Marin) or if it makes the fruit notes a little more mouthwatering (Womanity), but this….not so much. Musk and salt don’t do anything for me together, and the tonka and praline just don’t make sense in the context of that combination. Several others in the Reserve layering kit were quite nice, but this wasn’t one of them.
