Description

In December 2017, Armani launches a new edition of Sì fragrance from 2013, represented by Hollywood actress Cate Blanchett. Sì Passione is a reinterpretation of the original that gives it a new dimension – described as “an irresistible combination of grace, strength and independent spirit.” Announced as an intense, uncompromising scent, it is made for a confident woman who dares to say yes, and is to embody the red lipstick effect in the bottle.

Sì Passione is a bright and sensual perfume that emits confidence, seduction, and strength. Bright and fresh in its initial impression, Sì Passione opens with notes of spicy pink pepper, like a burst of adrenaline. After initially drawing attention, sparkling and radiant pear brightens the iconic juicy blackcurrant to add boldness. A floral heart beats passionately with rose and feminine jasmine to create a powerful scent, like a seemingly fragile woman who shows incredible strength when guided by passion. The addition of heliotrope makes this perfume addictive and acts as an invitation to self-indulgence and pleasure. The warm and sensual vanilla and cedarwood dry down mirrors the self-assurance that a swipe of red lipstick can instantly give the wearer.”

The fragrance is available as a 30, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

Fresh, fruity & clean. It’s not mind blowing, but it’s a very pretty and safe fragrance. It does remind me of the top notes in Forever Red… no coconut in this though. My husband loves this one on me, so that’s a plus!

I really do like the original Armani Si, but took a long time deciding if it was a strong enough like to be full bottle worthy. I finally splurged on a 100 mL/3.4 oz bottle and only a few weeks later they released this new flanker. Well, curse my luck, I ended up liking Si Passione even more than the original. I get a sparkling, fruity pear blended with yes, a somewhat generic red berry initially, and then it mellows into a sweet, almost caramel-like woodsy vanilla on my skin. I agree with other reviewers that the original Si EDP is much more interesting and complex, but I can’t help myself, this sweet flanker makes my happy place happier no matter how commonplace it seems to others. And the red bottle is just beautiful! I’d be interested in swapping my nearly full original Si for this version instead.
On my skin the sillage is just about moderate and the longevity seems to be about 6 hrs, after which I could barely detect anything on my skin and just a trace on my clothes.
EDIT: I think this reminds me a lot of the discontinued Bath & Body Works Forever Red line. It’s spicier than the original Forever Red and doesn’t have the boozy rum of the Vanilla Rum version, but it is kind of like mixing the two together.

Berries, pineapple, a very little hint of rose and almost no vanilla. The pear is also very strong. This has a synthetic smell to it I don’t care for, and the fruit is too prominent. I have so far not found anything in the Si line that I like.

I just received 7 sample sprays from Sephora. Si Passione is one of the first I tried.
I don’t know what this is. Juicy fruit gum mixed with baby powder? Sour mint and patchouli? Overripe pears with rotting flowers? Or maybe an off-brand toothpaste, one with lemon or berry – something that shouldn’t be in toothpaste. .
I’m definitely not getting the pepper, jasmine, vanilla or cedar notes, it’s pretty much a stale patchouli upon dry down.
Sorry to those who like this, but to me it’s a mess. Not quite a scrubber, but so bland as to not care if it’s there or not. A waste of a day of fragrance. Fortunately, staying power and throw is also bland. This one will be given away to somebody else who wants to try it, I won’t wear it twice. Disappointing.

This starts with a sharp alcohol blast, but once that settles it is a solidly good berry scent — currant sweetened by pineapple and pear. This is supported by a floral blend that feels classic, like its a fruiticculli (or however it’s spelled) inspired by chypres.
The way it develops is fascinating it morphs into a fairly fresh floral with just a hint of berry after an hour or two. When it actually dries down it gets really rich and creamy.
Really interesting. I will be revisiting.

A nice, sweet, berry/powder/vanilla fragrance. It’s a bit like the impish, girly, hidden fun side of someone who usually has to be mature and serious.

I was disappointed with this one. Yes, it smells good, but it’s not unique enough for me to drop the cash on it. Sprayed it on my hand and, to me, it reminds me so much of “Forever Red” from Bath and Body Works (which is now DC’d) Very fruity & sweet but forgettable. A++ for the bottle, though. So pretty.

    Sweet, fruity vanilla. Pleasant.

This is my “Si” as I don’t like the other versions of this line. It is so comfortable and mood lifting! It has a late August-the very beginning of autumn mood – so warm and ripe! Starts with juicy and ripe fruit flowing into a kind of caramelized and slightly sour base with is warm and fresh at the same time. The base is what I like the most in this fragrance.

  10. :

This generic smelling fruity floral patchouli mess has been done a million times before and is nothing distinctive whatsoever. It is the smell you get when you walk past any perfume shop on any High Street. Unimaginative and over priced. It smells like fifty others.

I received this in a little Sephora sampler and was really excited about it after reading the reviews and smelling the strip I sprayed at the store. The bottle is very chic, too, and slightly glowed there on the shelf. But the longevity is so bad, I truly have BBW sprays that last longer. I scrubbed off my Elizabeth & James Amethyst and my Victor & Rolf Flowerbomb to make way for this but even still, poor Si Passione was overpowered even after the scrub.
I wanted to smell all the notes but I get so much pear, that it almost drowns out all else. I got a puff of floral, and a little of the pepper, but mostly I think this is pear-vanilla sweetness. I think the flaw in this is that the base notes don’t lift the fragrance but rather the midnotes sit on the fragrance. They don’t lift off… it’s kind of fleeting if you do love it. I don’t love this, but I like it so I don’t really care if it doesn’t last.
Someone was discussing what type of confident passionate woman as described in the advertisement. This fragrance isn’t walk-into-a-room bold fragrance, but it’s the morning after fragrance, rather dreamy and indulgent, rather than strong and confident.

The original Si does not mix with my body chemistry at all and smells just awful on me. Luckily, Si Passione is a different story. A very fruity, shampooish fragrance with pear, rose, vanilla, and a little spice. Nice for summer. Gorgeous red bottle too!

  13. :

    3 out of 5

Fruit, fruit, and more fruit. Did I mention fruit? Soft sillage, unimpressive performance. Boring. Save your hard-earned money and go purchase any one of the Victoria’s Secret body mists if this type of fruity-floral scent appeals to you.
    The drydown is okay.

I very nearly love the original Si; it flirts with being on my want list. Si Passione goes off in a different direction entirely and lands solidly among my dislikes. The beautiful grounding vanilla is entirely absent and replaced with a syrupy succession of fructose sweetness. I get the same feeling as if I’d spilled canned fruit on myself. And the patchouli positively disappears in the mess. The single positive note for me is the beautifully achieved sour rose; it’s quite lovely and, were it not drowning in the fruit syrup, would be quite divine. But it’s all just too sweet with insufficient grounding or balance for me. Despite that, it is well composed and would suit someone into the sweet/fruity summer vibe perfumes. It throws a decent projection for a solid 5-6 hours and lingers at the skin much longer.

Went shopping with my husband yesterday we both decided on Armani Passione , it’s fresh and fruity with a warm vanilla woody undertone. I like this version the best of all SI versions but I don’t mind the other ones. This is fresher to my nose , the rose and all the fruits is like a bath of freshness with a soapy feel. it is sweet but not cloying sweet at all , the bottle is stunning as well and makes me happy .

  16. :

    Zero sillage! Zero lasting power!
Doesen’t worth the money. Smells like body/ hair mist!
I had to apply 7-8 spritz to smell something.

  17. :

I think I prefer this to the original. This is more fresh and less sweet.

  18. :

    4 out of 5

Gorgeous ripe pineapple surrounded by pear, black currant and rose jam. Quite different from the original even though ‘ripeness’ is a trait that characterizes the whole line and even this fragrance. Great performance during the summer and most probably all year round. The bottle is an eye-catching piece of art.

  19. :

    3 out of 5

Lovely scarlet bottle…but so sickly cloying rose behind sickly sweet pear. I am not a fan of Si in general, but i can stand it and this one is giving nausea. Shortly said, one being quite a perfume lover i would really have nothing on me, if this one would be the last thing on earth i could put on. there is nothing fresh, woody nor relates to passion. The possitive thing – longevity, stays really long, up to 8 hours on skin.

  20. :

I tried a sample of this, and my apologies, I’m not the biggest fan. I guess I’m just not cut out for modern fragrances. It smelled pretty linear to me, and kinda generic and synthetic. Had to wash it off and spray on some of Dana’s Chantilly. I’m sticking to my rule of only buying frags manufactured in the 20th century. Sorry guys.

  21. :

    3 out of 5

Not what I expected from a dramatic scarlet bottle! This is a light, lovely, tender scent that’s maybe good for work or at least a really sweet, pleasant, amiable woman. I’m really liking the pineapple/grapefruit accord. It’s sweet but ladylike. Down to earth but not cutesy.
Despite the ad campaign, the original Si maybe exudes the ‘confidence’ image better – even if it’s in a more carefree, effortless way rather than a red hot bold one – than Passione. I don’t find them very similar as far as scents go, which is odd considering that the other flankers (e.g. Rose Signature) are such close variations on the original.

I thought “Passione” would be spicy. This is fruit-juicy. It’s no secret I dislike pear notes, and this smells like a vat of sour, green pear juice. I asked my daughter what she thought, without expressing my own response, and she said, “Al little kid’s perfume…like pears.” So I guess our chemistries and perceptions are similar. I LOVE Si, still, and most of the flankers are quite nice. If pear liked me at all I might love this. If you love pear notes, you should try this even if you’re not crazy about Si!

This is one of the fragrances that I smelled and immediately had to own. I was at the mall yesterday, and an associate gave me a sniffy and sprayed a little on my arm. Twenty minutes later I had a bottle in my purse and was on the way home. The scent notes of Si Passione are right up my alley – fruity, floral, sweet with a touch of spice. I love the fruity notes you get when you first put it on, and then it dries down to a really sexy, sensual scent. I sprayed it on at about 3pm yesterday, and when I woke up this morning around 6, I could still smell it on me. I’m not an over-sprayer either – I use about 6 sprays and I don’t spray my clothes. My first thought was that this is a great scent for Fall, but since it’s summer and I just bought it, I’m wearing it right now.
I will always have a bottle of this in my arsenal!

  24. :

    4 out of 5

Automatic love at first sniff…(surprisingly) since I did not care for the first Si…or the flankers.
This was starts fruity…the the fruits go underneath..and some floralish vibe comes in…and maybe a tad exotic vibe too. Have to explore this one more,as I just have a sample….but…I can see owning this soon! And….sadly…one bad point…sillageis kinda low, and so is longevity…skin scent territory..but still….a LOVE. Does not fall into the vibe of the original to my nose/IMO.
OMG….got a brand new 1.7 oz of this ….it is so amazing!!! The bottle is very exquisite too…wow. IF ONLY THIS LASTED LONGER ON ME !!!
Still, I will wear this proudly, and YES…I would buy this again soon…as,like soooo many scents…will probably be discontinued….(hope not).

I say Si to this lovely perfume , I read many negative reviews about this but when I tried it I fell in love with it immediately and seeing my love for this perfume my husband had to bring it for me and he loves it too. It has some strange beautiful note into it which is really different and you do not get to smell it commonly. I loved it more when my colleagues told me you smell so nice , sweet but elegant and it made me more happy on my love for this perfume. It is a must try perfume and really it is different from other George Armani Si fragrances.

  26. :

    3 out of 5

Far more palatable to my nose than the original Si, this is a solid like, but if I could pull the blackcurrant out this would be bordering on love. On my skin, the blackcurrant is stronger than any other note after about thirty minutes and if I smell directly where I sprayed, it’s got that cat pee undertone unpleasantness to it, so this is definitely one of those scents that smells better on other people to me than putting it on myself. I might try spraying it on my neck and back of my knees to see if that makes the blackcurrant less obtrusive to my nose.

  27. :

    3 out of 5

Soft, Amber-y, musky, white floral. A bit sweet, and a little vanilla. I like berry scents, but I do not get any of that in this scent at all. Sì Passione is very generic in this era of fragrance, almost boring. Pleasant, but not distinctive at all. I prefer Guerlain’s LBD for a warm sweet scent with a very present berry-cherry note. Passione is too much of a warm scent for summer IMO (it is mid-summer in my location as of the writing of this review). It is probably a safe gift scent in the colder months, though perhaps too safe.

  28. :

    5 out of 5

I was misled by the name and I had a totally different idea of Sì Passione at first.
As other reviewers said better before, the scent is so intimate and not intrusive at all, with subtle notes of pepper and pear.
Also, the bottle is fantastic and could be worth the purchase itself.

  29. :

    3 out of 5

Fresh pear and pineapple are the first notes to flare up! A woody mixture of dark fruits, rose and vanilla shows up after a few minutes. This perfume very well composed and quite intense but not too heavy! It reminds me of Kylie Minogue’s Sexy Darling.

The biggest shock in my fragrance collecting journey I didn’t like the original Si edp edt or le parfum.
However I got this one because of the packaging & curiosity
But this one is absolutely sexy and mind-blowing .
I have never thought that any Si would be that amazing sexy sweet fragrance
this is absolutely for younger woman and girls who are seeking to be noticed ..
I beileve u can wear it any season any occasion .. but fir me as sandy
I believe it can be used safley in first date
Its steong proceed very well and has absolutely fantastic lasting power.
    Go get it girls
    Ah
Guys .. it has gorgeous packaging you can get it to your GF as a gift 😉

Starts of like a sweeter Maybe baby and in the dry down smells like a smoother sweeter version of Nina (in the apple shaped red bottle).
Doesnt smell high end at all and cannot see any similarity with the original Si. This could also be due to my skin chemistry.

  32. :

    3 out of 5

Si’s innocent little sister. The opening is a mouthwatering blend of blackcurrant, pepper and sweet pineapple. As it dries down the sweetness of the pear and softening effects of the vanilla start to come through with a hint of jasmine. I’d expected this to be seductive and overpowering because of its name and red bottle, but it’s surprisingly and pleasantly a mildly intense, soft and feminine blend.

  33. :

    4 out of 5

I’m going to collect all the Si.
I got today Si passione. It’s different but I like it. It’s not sweet, not fresh… It reminds me like good girl CH.
I like Si edt and intense the most, but now I’m happy to have this. Soon will get signature.

  34. :

    5 out of 5

I don’t like the original SI, so I was not expecting much from this. However, I really love the smell of this one it is fruity sweet, but has a freshness about it that makes it clean and vibrant. To me this is predominantly watermelon and pear on a bed of jasmine, rose and cedar. It is a very classy smelling fragrance, I really enjoy it and will add it to my collection. Watermelon is definitely present in this, or if not the notes combined 100% give a watermelon type scent, this is the first thing that came to mind on first spritz- the watermelon does make it a summer scent, but it is still sophisticated as in business executive officer summer scent. On first spray, sillage is strong for all of 10 minutes, then unfortunately settles into a skin scent, which is shocking for the price. lasting power 6-8 hours on skin, 4 hours on clothes. The bottle is the most beautiful opaque shade of red.
Overall sillage aside I would give the scent itself an 8/10.
Beautiful sophisticated, vibrant, spunky yet classy summer scent

I must admit I bought it only for the nice bottle. Pleasent scent but quickly boring.

Nothing special I’m sad to say. Very generic and boring and not like Si!

  37. :

    5 out of 5

Yes, to me this smells cheap and generic. The first impression was positive but as it settled, it got plain and quite boring. I hope I don’t offend anyone, I can see how this can be liked a lot, but if your nose is adventurous, used to or liking complex scents, this is not for you.

I see many different opinions on
    Si Passione – Armani.
I would like to buy it but I think that
I have to try it on and not to blind buy it.
Very helpful that the votes for it’s similarity
    with Amor Amor – Cacharel.
    Bad memories, sad.
Not for me this time my beloVed “Si”.

Like this better over the original, at times though it reminded me a little bit of this tanning lotion I used once..lol & idk if this makes sense but when I would smell it sometimes I got like a dryness to it.. however I still really liked it & I just love that stark red bottle too (looks like an expensive nail polish a bit lol) I sprayed a bit on my hand & it lasted quite a while even through a hand wash, mom really liked it too in all not bad.

  40. :

It smells like a fabric softener. Something like accacia + undefiniable red berries + soap. Granddaughter of Amour Amour.

  41. :

    4 out of 5

After few wearings and coming to my top shelf, I can describe this with more experienced tone. It’s a fruity mix with dominant pear, but only at the beginning. Then it develops into beautiful combination of red rose and black currant, dusted with a little bit of pepper. It’s not harsh in any moment, it’s smooth like a gentle spring whisper.
It makes me happy. As long as it does, we’re going to stay together. No matter what others say 🙂

  42. :

    5 out of 5

I find this doesn’t last as long as the original, which lingers all day for me. This has more berries, more meh frankly.. It disappeared by mid afternoon, not entirely but quite faint. It’s lost a bit of character as well, although yes yes lovely red bottle. Still don’t want it.

  43. :

    4 out of 5

Like most reviewers say very beautiful bottle. But scent itself… Meh… 🙂 no staying power.another fruitchouly. It will dissapear in another thousand of familiar scents.. when original SI is a classic I suppose..which I dislike too 🙂

  44. :

    3 out of 5

Beautiful bottle! It looks just stunning the lipstick red shade if you love to collect it’s almost worth it for the bottle alone. The scent is lovely, true it’s not groundbreaking, but it smells very fruity and pretty and I prefer it to the original Si actually. It really is a more passionate version!

  45. :

    3 out of 5

A just OK fragrance, warm hairspray floral in the likes of First by Van Cleef ot Hallie Barry Reveal. Old fashioned and mature.

  46. :

    4 out of 5

What a shame! The bottle is so beautiful, but the fragrance is so pedestrian, “fuzzy” and nondescript smelling, like something from Victoria’s Secret. It doesn’t smell passionate in the least. It reminds me of another fragrance which I can’t put my finger on. It doesn’t remind me of Si and it’s not a dead ringer for Cacharel’s Amor Amor to my nose, either. Perplexing and disappointing at the same time. Sad, because the bottle is so appealing. The fragrance does not match the bottle, as much as I wish it did.

Reminds me of an old Escada perfume called sunny fruity back in the days when I as a little girl
I never liked the Escada one, was fruity in a pungent way
    Same with this one
it kindda made sick when I sprayed it on my wrist
& unlike many editions this has absolutely nothing to do with the original Si
its not a young or teenage scent being fruity & all but yet its not a mature scent either !!!!
Hard to classify what age category its suits
Over all its a weird scent !!!!

  48. :

    4 out of 5

Does anyone have any idea why my friend and I smell strawberries in this? That’s not one of the advised notes on the official Giorgio Armani website, and there’s no rhubarb to echo strawberry. Just curious 🙂
As for the juice, it’s nice, but unoriginal. Chanel Chance au Tendre, 4711 Acqua Colonia Pink Pepper and Grapefruit and a host of floral fruities with citrus, rose and pink pepper are similar – not dupes but if you love those fragrances it’s worth trying Si Passione.
The bright, lipstick red bottle is glorious, but really doesn’t match the light, happy fragrance inside. I could imagine the flacon suiting an oriental, but not this. No matter, that’s just me quibbling. It’s a like, but not a love.

  49. :

    4 out of 5

Si Passione is quite a bold fruity floral. It’s not my personal cup of tea, yet in comparison to the original Si Eau de Parfum, I much prefer this flanker.
I would enjoy this fragrance so much more if pineapple and grapefruit actually worked on my skin. Sadly this composition is not suitable for my skin chemistry, but if you are one of the luckier ones, this fruity floral is well worth trying.
Si Passione is like a grown-up, somewhat evolved Escada scent. It’s rich and fruity on the skin and is heavy on the black currant, grapefruit, pear and pineapple. Si Passione teeters between being juicy and sour. Very much like its predecessor Si Eau de Parfum, this fragrance will either be a love it or hate it.
The bottle is stunning, reminding me of a bottle of bright red nail polish. Si Passione is an attention-grabbing scent from the get-go. It’s a shame that it just doesn’t work for me.
The longevity of Si Passione was superb, lasting a decent six to eight hours, with the projection also being quite strong. I would recommend going easy with the sprays and would strongly advise against blind buying this flanker unless strong fruity scents are what floats your boat.

Fruity, pear, plastic-y, resinous, spicy pepper-y. Bottle fits this scent. Somewhat strong scent, tho in same time fruitiness gives to it softness and even toy like sweetness.

Nice reviews, nice wearable scent, feminine and delicate, soft and close to the skin. It doesn’t scream “passion” that’s for sure. But still, it is a lovely perfume. Way better that the original version, in my opinion. Spotted it in Paris, tried in Chicago and bought it in Bucharest 🙂
It stayed on my mind and I had to have it.
Oh, my, is this passion or what? :))

  53. :

    3 out of 5

Sometimes the reviews are so helpful. Sometimes they can be deceiving. I wanted this because of the bottle, but I was so sad because of the bad comments about the scent.
Well… Most of you are wrong, luckily. I love this on my skin! I’m also a fan of regular Si and Si Intense. But this is softer, more elegant and at the same time more playful. It could be worn night or day, summer, fall, spring. I think I’m going to use it this summer and buy a new bottle, to be honest.
It’s simple but beautiful. And we all need that from time to time, especially when we get headache from complicated things. No, it’s not cheap like a body spray, like somebody wrote. It’s luxurious and red as the bottle indicates. For me it’s mostly about red berries mixed with vanilla and pear. My new summer favorite!
P.S. Si Passione is a simple red dress that’s by herself enough to make you feel sexy. Adding a red lipstick would be too much.

  54. :

    5 out of 5

There is absolutely nothing passionate about this fragrance. It’s a mellow, almost nauseating and generic scent, devoid of character. The first time I put it on it seemed nice and elegant although nothing special. The second time I had to wash it off after an hour because I was already so tired of the scent. It reminds me of D&G’s Light Blue, except maybe a Light Greenish-Grey.

  55. :

The notes and name don’t match the bottle. I was expecting something much more passionate and alluring.

  56. :

Si Passione is pears and pineapples with a sexy twist. I was not impressed by the first spray, I couldn’t even tell what I was smelling. All of a sudden after a few minutes it starts to change beautifully on my skin. In combination with the rose and vanilla it is quite a surprise. This is your perfect happy summer fragrance! I am personally not a huge fan of fruity perfumes, I do prefer the original Si but is not at all bad! Got a small sample to try on at my holidays in Portugal, lets see how this combines with sunny and warm weather for now, to me it smells very pleasant and very different from everything I tried before. Somehow the formulation works, the amber wood is very noticeable to me, it gives it crazy enough a musky feeling at the dry down. Again, not bad at all! The freshness is a plus and lovely bottle!

  57. :

    3 out of 5

I like it! It’s sweet, a bit rosy with a soft spicineness. Smells crramy but not overpowering. It’s intriguing because it’s a sweet kind of sophisticated. I say if you like Prada Candy, Narcizo Rodriguez, and Daisy then you might like it.

  58. :

    3 out of 5

I agree with both previous reviewers that Si Passione is VERY reminiscent of Marc Jacobs Daisy and that it’s generally disappointing! That’s exactly what I came here to write about this fragrance. I tested 5 different scents in duty free today: Si Passione, new Marc Jacobs Daisy Love EDP, Viva La Juicy Soiree, VLJ Glace, Coach Floral Eau The Parfum. On the paper strips after about 10 minutes they all smelled so much alike and quite generic faint fruity floral. It’s amazing how I could not really tell which is which by smelling those paper strips. Indistinguishable and a bit synthetic scent – those words could describe any of the above mentioned fragrances all blurred into one. I love Si original and even Si Intense is not too bad – even though not my favorite, as it seems to have less depth and character than a non-intense original version of it. But Si Passione should have a completely different name as it bears no resemblance to the Si family.

  59. :

Its finally here i got it today. The dry down smells like marc jacobs daisy Edp only a little more fruity and a little thicker if that makes sense. I already own daisy but oh well now i have more

Meh… Deja vu! It is a light vanilla/fruit combo, kind of fresh but no depth, no real sweetness. Disappointing. Reminds me of Deep red. I will pass!

I really, really like this. It´s sweet but at the same time fresh without lacking depth. It has a subtle tone of rose but nothing of the powder that usually comes with rose and I think it´s the fruity notes and the pepper that balance it out. It couldn´t irritate anyone at the office but I could easily pull off wearing this in the evening to. The other Si from Armani hasn´t been anything for me but this one was love at first sight and the bottle is a beauty on the shelf. Not sure it suits the perfume but I love nail polish and now I have a big nail polish in bright and sexy red 🙂

When I spray this all I get is pepper and currant (which kinda comes off as strawberry)…

Si Passione is nice, it’s powerful initially but has this powdery fresh flowers/linen scent and it kind of remains. It reminds me of something and I can’t remember what… fabric softener… a bar of soap and the 90’s?? It’s popular with people who like other versions of Si and I have heard people like to transition to this as well. I always thought that Armani’s fragrances were exceptional, unique and really elegant. Si Passione has an interestingly coloured bottle.

I didnt like this when i first sprayed it, smelled like shampoo and kinda flat and linear. But then it drys down to something really gorgeous and fresh like a salon type of freshness, i kept getting gorgeous whifs all day. Sad i didnt buy it now lol

This perfume is a very very weak perfume which sits extremely close to the skin. I usually like a perfume that doesn’t spread too far but I’d at least like someone to smell it. It also has a very simple smell, unlike the original si whose notes I find kind of difficult to put your finger on. With this one I instantly smell berries, at that is it. Then the next note is pear (but a very weak pear). It does not seem to have any bottom notes. It just seems to be (very synthetic) berries initially, then pear for an hour, and then it’s gone.
I really don’t recommend this perfume. It is far too expensive for mildly scented water.

I like this one! And much more than many other Si flankers including the original.
When I smell it I think of sweet and tart grape juice and beautiful red roses.
It’s simple, not as complex as other Si flankers, but that’s what I like.
Lovely red bottle and nice perfume.
It won’t be very similar to other passion-related fragrances though.

I am a fan of sweet perfumes and tried a lot , i loved Armani Si original one and when this one comes out I was sure need to buy becouse i thought it would be as good as original one . But guess what? Disappointed , I don’t like it at all it doesnt even has a smell and couldnt be confident with it , it seeks like a body lotion and thats all . Dont buy it if u love the original one that version is not a bottle i will buy again , despite the fact i bought a 100 ml bottle and I am sure i will never spray it again . Love the original armani si not that one

After putting it on, I knew it reminded me of something, but couldn’t quite think of what it was. So I sat there watching TV, smelling over and over. Then I finally remember that smell….
Amor Amor by Cacharel. Which I absolutely love. This version of Si is like Amor Amor’s older sister. I get a little more of the florals and a little less of the flirty fruity notes, but they are definitely related as far as my skin goes.

What is this? It smells like cheap shower gel….
Smells nothing like the original Si. Indeed very disappointing.
For those who only buy perfume for the bottle.

It’s fresher, greener that the first Si. Very different fragrance, no idea why it is sold by the same name. Also, why is it called Passion? It’s very floral and it does not remind me of anything passion related.

I love the original Sí , but stopped using it, as every body seems to wear it 🙂 It is very nice tho, and i love the bottle with the black lid. So i got very excited when i saw this at my beauty store. The beautiful red bottle lured me closer – what an amazing bottle ! The fragrance is sooo good, i don’t understand all the negative feedback! On me it is sweet Jasmine , sweet rose and shy blackcurrant, with vanilla and pink pepper and a juicy pear. Projects well ans last for ages . Will definetely buy a full bottle ASAP 🙂

According to the notes I should love this perfume, unfortunately I am very disappointed, not what I expected at all. This is very soapy and nauseating on me, it made me sick to my stomach.

So , so disappointed by this one. Expected so much by seeing those notes, which are so misleading for the reader. I love the original SI and was anticipating to test this one, ready to smell sth almost gourmand, vanilla, with a hint of bitter fruit. Unfortunately it has nothing to do with what comes to your mind when you see this red bottle, and notes like vanilla and black currant. It is fresh, almost green-noted, and personally i find it very flat as a scent. Smells like hairspray or cheap body splash. After 2 hours it was still there, leaving me almost sick. I cannot detect the rose in it, and needless to say there is no pear AT all. Such a shame for such a pretty bottle 🙁

Oh my goodness on me it smells like Nina (apple bottle), D&G light blue and Chanel chance tendre on my hand.
Then on my upper arm its like sweeter and slightly different….odd.
Not doing justice to the beauty of the bottle, doesnt smell high quality to me.

I own ALL Sì, including this one and I love them ALL.
I myself have learnt to not expect any perfume house/creator to come up with totally different fragrances any time they launch their new products. Therefore, there will be tons of flankers and it is OK as long as I like them. This case is
