Saturnalia, as thecoffeeslayer has said, is a very earthy vetiver scent. It opens much like violet, and as a fellow BPAL fan has mentioned, smells like burnt leaves. She thought it was like cannabis and I can’t 100% agree. However, I see where the idea comes from. It’s a little stinky.
Anyhow, this isn’t a ‘pretty’ violet scent, but it’s not stanky or anything either. Quite beautiful, really.

This is lovely if you like earthy wood/moss frangrance with a touch of violet.
