Nice cheap dupe of Perfumer’s Workshop Tea Rose. Basic old-fashioned fresh rose.

A natural rose scent, like the ones you smell in garden. I notice some green notes as well. It is a great value considering the price. I would wear this one on warmer days as it is refreshing and long lasting. It is a classic scent.

Disappointing rose blend, and I also notice lily of the valley in several of these rose blends.
Clinique aromatics in white is a better choice imo.

If you are interested in a ripe, freshly picked rose soliflore without being paired with powdery, fruity/jammy or sweaty/oud-y notes, this a great little choice. It starts off a bit green but that fades as a slight musk surfaces, lending a mild soapy feel. Moderate in both projection and longevity, it is a very affordable option to get a realistic rose scent. As with most Al-rehab oils, they smell a bit odd if sniffed too closely (this one comes off a bit ashy) but are instead designed to be smelt from a slight distance (at least 6 inches), leaving a pleasant scent trail.

@Kittycat63 and @nurseferatu, my feelings exactly. An expensive French rose soap and meant more for layering otherwise it gets boring after a few hours.
Sillage is light to moderate and longevity is around 7 to 8 hrs. I wear this with some vanilla based perfumes when my mind craves Turkish delight.

Disappointed. It smells like pretty much ever rose oil I’ve tried during my visits to the Middle East. I was initially looking to find 2000 et Une Rose by Lancome and supposedly this smells or at least alludes to it. I don’t sense the similarity AT ALL! It’s a nice basic rose though. The kind I would like my fabric softener to leave on my clothe. I think diluted with perfume alcohol I can probably turn it into a home or fabric scent. It is definitley no where near any of my beloved purple Lancômes <3

Alrehab has several good rose scents including: Roses, Red Roses, Taif Rose & Moroccan Rose. They do roses extremely well. I don’t see a huge difference between their roses so it’s probably only necessary get 1. I got all of the roses I mentioned but I’m a roses fanatic & I was blind buying (& paying a ridiculous cheap price [6 pieces for $20]). This is simply amazing like rose water but it’s an oil w/o alcohol (alcohol diluted frag, irritates skin, & makes a frag evaporate more quickly so that’s super no alcohol). This is straight up rose water & a little musk. If you are a rose fanatic you will want this. It’s lovely, & the price is right . I like the packaging pretty label w Arabic writing & convenient size rollerball to fit in any handbag. I have over 30 Alrehab & their roses are really pretty. #winning

Not sure why this is unisex because it’s definitely feminine, at least to my nose and my wife. I think the musk added to this was to make it more masculine, but the rose is so dominate in this I just can’t see myself wearing this. Maybe more metosexual guys can pull this one off. I certainly can not.
However, I do enjoy it a lot on my wife and she fell in love with this little gem. She loves to wear this to bed in the Spring/Summer months. And for some reason, it puts me and her in the mood (wink wink). Especially her… and I have no complaints about that!
For some time I’ve been trying to get my wife to open an account here on Fragrantica so she can post her reviews. But her English is limited so she doesn’t feel comfortable. Hopefully she’ll change her mind because she really is a fraghead like her husband. Nevertheless, here is what my told me about Roses Al-Rehab:
“It makes me feel special, and very lady-like, and reminds me of Valentine’s Day and our Anniversary when you buy me roses. The smell of roses always brings me happy memories. What girl doesn’t like the smell of roses, right?”
The quality and often natural smell of Al Rehab fragrances never fails to amaze me for such a budget fragrance house. I’m not saying all Al Rehab fragrances are excellent, some are a hit or miss, and some are just too much to handle. But when you come across the good ones, they will really impress you. Roses is one of those.

I was a bit hesitant to buy this as I’m not normally a big fan of rose’y perfumes, for whatever reason, even though I love the smell of actual roses and I love rose scented soaps!
Still, the reviews were good overall and I’ve recently been buying several of the Al Rehab rollerball perfume oils and I really like several of them. So I decided to give this one a go, and considering these little rollerballs cost about the same price as a cup of coffee from a coffee shop it would hardly break the bank!
When I first tried it I was a bit overwhelmed at how intense and green it smelled, like millions of young rose petals smushed up to squeeze the oil out of them and then bottled in a cute little rollerball. I swiped a little on my wrist and it was so potent I almost thought I wouldn’t be able to bear it and might have to wash it off. A good thing I was patient though and stuck with it . . .
It then started to smell SOOOO good, just like an expensive triple milled, exquisite rose French soap. By this point I was loving it and the perfume far exceeded my expectations. It stayed this way, luckily, all the way through and the perfume lasted for hours on me, although becoming more of a skin scent after a few hours. I could still get lovely little wafts of it though here and there, which was great.
I dare the pretentious perfume snobs on here to give this a go. I bet not even a niche rose’y perfume, say from a make like By Kilian, for example, could top this! In fact, I just checked the By Kilian range and they do have a Rose Oud perfume which costs $395 for a 50ml bottle on the Lucky Scent website … and of course some people are gushing about how fantastic it is, yet others say it smells like a bathroom air freshener or some of the Bed Bath & Beyond products! LOL!! (I can’t believe I just used LOL . . . I hate that ! ! )
I would never have thought a rose perfume would become a favourite of mine, and a ‘go to’ one at that, but this one actually has achieved that! I’m now using it almost daily, and sometimes even swiping on a bit more when I go to bed (because I find it relaxing and it makes my bedding smell yummy!). I really do love it and it’s now my favourite of my 10+ Al Rehab rollerball perfume oils!

People think I’ve showered in rose water. Even compliment-selfish people have given up and asked me how the hell I smell so fine. This doesn’t smell like perfume to many; it smells like actual roses. It even seems to calm down those who are around.
For half an hour it’s way too strong but then an hour later there’s nothing there. Perhaps a really weak skin scent at most. Which is so sad. But hey- since it’s a tiny roll-on bottle, I guess I can carry it around without doing too much damage to the cap. I’ve already broken the cap off my first bottle, but it was flimsy to begin with. The other roll-on caps I have seem to be sturdy.
So for those of you who are like me and love this but have bad longevity, take it with you.
I’m a guy and I find that wearing this as an accessory paired with one solid colour for all your clothes makes you stand out from all the guys like nobody’s business. Girls can’t get enough of it. I’ve even added this to my homemade beard oil as the fragrance ingredient.
    Enjoy! 🙂

This is just a fat, bold blooming rose…one left on the vine. It’s basic but not cheap. Don’t get me wrong, I love PW Tea Rose but this is much more refined than Tea Rose. This is dusky and heady…❤️

Roses. Love them or hate them, they are unique in their sultry, aromatic velvety nature that captures and possesses ones senses. Whether they are soft, pink and dewy or juicy, carnal and red its irrelevant. This is the case of a velvety rose. Soft, yet persistent, mesmerising and deep, with gentle green nuances yet totally fleshy and bold, this is THE Al Rehab rose! Very realistic and concentrated. There is a whisper of musk but it is overwhelmed by the mighty of flower. With a touch of spice it stays with you and leaves a gentle aura of seduction and allure. One of my dearest loves!!! I dare you, try it!!!!!!…

I was looking for a cheapie rose that smelled fairly natural and strong.
    This is it!
I think I will look into the other Rose frags by this company as well as a SPRAY form of this very one (this is a roll-on) –it might be better and stronger!

but how are these sooooooo cheap ????? Makes me wonder ……….

I was looking for a heady soliflore rose scent and this more than fit the brief. It’s a big, knock-out blast of green roses. There’s an almost skanky, animalic quality to it – it could be the musk, although I’m sure the rose oil itself plays a part.
Unfortunately, it’s a little too strong for my tastes. I can smell it wafting from my wardrobe and filling my bedroom, even when I put the 6ml roll-on bottle’s cap on tight. On the skin, even when applied very sparingly, the scent is very intense. The skankiness is accentuated by the body’s heat and becomes almost unbearably dirty.
Paradoxically, for such potent oil, longevity is not great. After a couple of hours it has calmed down to a skin scent that smells like a harmless rose soap. Soon after, it’s gone.
I thought about keeping Roses to layer with my patchouli and oud extracts, but it’s too strong even in the bottle to keep around. It’s a shame, because there’s so much about Roses that I like. But I’m just not ready for such a heady, dirty soliflore.

true, realistic blooming roses scent. Just a little too strong, I believe rose scents should be light, airy, delicate. This one is very powerful and strong. Nice anyways.

I got this in the mail along with 3others& i will be buying full sizes for all, at first theres a weird oil smell but after drydown its gone, so not bad, this smells like the perfume tearose by perfumers workshop, except its more mellow yet it lasts along time on the skin, its perfect as in a day you only want yoirself&man to smell you, im liking Al-Rehabs perfume oils!

this is one I will have to wear very sparingly. its pure rose, tea rose and very strong. put on slightly too much and it will smell awful but just a small smear and its rose heaven. I expect it would make a great addition to candles and pot pourri as it is so strong

I’ll start by saying that I’ve never really been a huge fan of perfumes where rose plays a central role.
The ones I’ve come across have for example been geranium heavy and not impressive.
When I tried to sniff the perfume from the bottle I caught the scent of fresh roses with a green background, almost like roses that you smell outside in gardens etc.
On the skin it is more or less the same, except I can smell the powdery musk in the background. And to me there is a faint whiff of that expensive burnt out candle scent that I so love, but it is pretty faint.
It is slightly smoky and spicy but beautifully-so. It doesn’t detract from the lovely rose smell.
This scent is lovely and refreshing and very true to the real rose smell-with off course a musky background.
This is a rose scent that truly captures the beauty of roses growing in a garden. It is not heavy or cloying.
I find this perfume beautifully blended and once again, it smells expensive for its price.
Once again with my experiences so-far with Arabian perfume houses, they are master blenders and they KNOW what they’re doing.
They have a mastery of blending different notes, and they know how to blend each perfume to perfection.

This is for the 6ml oil
This review may seem a little contradictory at first but bear with me all-in-all it’s a positive review.
Al Rehab Roses start’s out smelling like fresh photorealistic wild 5 petal roses. I was exicted when it seemed to get a little creamy but than it shifted and began to smell like roses and melted plastic. If I don’t sniff straight off my skin and just let the scent float up to my face it’s a nice orange tangy rose. After an hour it died down and I thought that was it but the rose came back with a vengeance and this time without the melted plastic note. The sillage is ok and becomes a skin scent after 2 hours. Next time I may layer this with “Demeter Elvira’s Black Roses” to really get my crazy rose on! lol Hint, hint if you like roses for a good price. ..just saying…
Al Rehab Roses isn’t the greatest rose soliflore I’ve ever smelled but Let’s not forget what we paid for it. I’m spoiled for roses anyway. I have natural rose essential, otto, and absolute oils but those cost $$$!
So to sum it up: Al Rehab Roses oil is a good quality, heavily concentrated, realistic rose perfume oil at a great bargain. It sells for between $2 and $7 USD a bottle depending on where you get it and how much you buy. So what are you waiting for?
    Edit:
After this wore off I layered it on top of Al Rehab Elena. It is so nice and that weird note didn’t show up at all!

I was hesitant to buy this scent because so many of the reviews have mentioned how strong, even overpowering, the rose scent is. I LOVE most any rose scent, but my hubby just can’t tolerate it, so I have to limit myself. Partly because Tea Rose by Perfumer’s Workshop is one of my signature scents, and it is quite potent, I decided to go for it and try this, planning to wear it only while my hubby’s at work. Oh my goodness – I’m so glad that I took the chance and tried it! Yes, it is a very potent juice as others have stated, but it is simply decadent! My nose doesn’t pick up any note other than the breathtaking sent of roses, roses, and more roses. I’m in heaven! That said, I do recommend a VERY light hand with this. A teeny tiny bit really does deliver quite a punch and if not careful it would be easy to overdo it. That said, I highly recommend this to any serious rose scent lover. The price is right and it is so portable, too. This is definitely going to be added as one of my favorite perfumes! Enjoy!

This attar is well made and smells of fresh dewey roses and stems accompanied by a strong and fresh lemon note. It smells very much like Perfumer`s Workshop Tea Rose. I found Tea Rose way too strong and very overwhelming. I found this attar much easier to wear but I still will pass it on to a friend. Still not quite my cup of tea but I think others who have had difficulty with the sheer strength of Tea Rose may like this attar much better.

This is one of my first Al-Rehab – and I can’t believe such a BIG and beautiful rose fragrance comes out of this teeny lil’ bottle! Makes me want to buy as many Al-Rehab as I can possibly get! This rose is most certainly fresh and sweet 🙂 This would be excellent layered with a deep dark patchouli!

  25. :

No musk, no powder on me, no extra citrus or sour notes, just fresh rose with green leaves. Long-lasting, moves from big to moderate sillage in a couple of hours. I love it for layering with many other fragrances – two dabs will give a lovely boost to other rose perfumes too. Be careful with it until you know how it works on you – it is much more powerful than it may seem at first. An excellent value too.

Mine has just arrived this morning. It’s genuinely strong rose smell. Like so many other rose smell perfume I have tried before. Old problem, there is just something ( I can’t figure out what) I don’t like. couple of weeks ago, I happened to buy a tube of body cream from TKmax–rose romance by affinity bay. It is the most lovely rose smell I have ever tried. I can’t have enough. After applying it I just keep smelling it. Lovely through through. Believe me I have tried so many, for example, annick goutal rose absolut, rose spelendid, JM red rose, Stella, et al et al.
Please forgive my writing here, English is not my first langurs. The reviews on this website have helped me tremendously in the last couple of years. I just want to try to contribute a little bit as well. 🙂

First impressions: Very strong old lady-style rose, mixed with sour citrus but no musk. Most Al-Rehabs morph into something beautiful but this doesn’t. Wears off very quickly. Smells like Joanna, a baby doll I had when I was little.

  28. :

In the bottle, this smells sweet, light and distantly rosy. I applied a generous portion to my skin and POP come the roses! Sharp, very very sharp and green at first, quite overwhelming but again I did apply a good bit. It gave me my rose fix for the day. I left a trail of roses in my wake for about 2 hours, then it was gone.
I like it! To my nose it is nothing but roses; I cannot detect a single other note of anything in it. I love trying new things at home first so that when I overapply and/or hate it, no one is offended. I also experiment mixing it with other oils/scents just to see what happens. Surprisingly, white musk oil did not work so well with this but I would love to try it with sandalwood oil, which I am out of at the moment. However…it layers beautifully with my beloved Lancome Tresor! The very faint rose note in Tresor is gently amplified by 2-3 dots of this Al-Rehab roses rubbed into my wrists and neck. So pretty, feminine; not quite sexy but cozy and sensuous.
This is the first Al-Rehab scent that works well for me. If you like a linear rose scent this is for you, but mixing it with other things is so much more fun when you discover something altogether unique can come it for you!

  29. :

    4 out of 5

This is pure roses, uncomplicated and pleasant, very feminine. This is the closest to natural roses as you can get. It smells like someone took a bunch of rose petals and stems and grinded them together, then you stick your head in and get a whiff. I do detect some powdery notes which makes the scent smell a little dry. Since it is an oil it is very concentrated, a little lasts a long time and can be quite strong.

As a man I wanted a rose fragrance and thought why not al-rehab roses. First let me say this is unisex scent its more manly that I was expecting. I get real genuine rose from this fragrance. Roses, musk, and some citrus what I get. I love it. I got this fragrance because of the roses and to layer this with Dior homme sport. I will update on how that goes. Great buy and happy with my purchase.

  31. :

    5 out of 5

This is a fist full of roses and it’s gonna punch you in the brain!
Seriously, this an intense fresh-cut, living rose perfume. Thankfully for me I get no musk whatsoever, it’s all just lush, dense, slightly salty rose petals all the way down. After a long drydown, it turns a bit soapy, but in a good way, with a subtle, peppery note of carnation. Spot-on soliflore and I think I’ll have fun experimenting with its layering potential.
It’s a sillage grenade on me, only a brief, loud explosion before it calms down to a more moderate level.

I re-purchased Al Rehab Roses after a year and noticed that lovely sweetness was not quite there.
The new one smelt cheaper and the intensity of the roses was not the same. Will re test elsewhere and hope that the new batch i purchased was just a variation rather than a reformulation.
Will give the current Roses away to someone who may appreciate it.

This is the rose scent I´ve ever dreamed of, but now when I finally found and purchased it I am not that sure anymore. It´s NOT for everybody. It is definitely an amazing soliflore rose scent, however the concentration of it is a little too much for me. A tiny drop goes a looong way. Once I put it on my skin it becomes VERY potent (sillage is very strong too) and the first hour is almost unbearable for me. I also get the weird note that some people mentioned before (could be lavender?). After an hour it calms down a little and that is the time I enjoy the scent most (sweet but not sugary sweet, green scent. It reminds me of pink peony scent, which I love)… after one or two more hours it´s almost gone and at that point I am glad it is gone, because my need for roses has been fully satisfied.
(Please, ignore my grammar. English is not my first language. )
P.S. In my opinion, it does not smell like an actual perfume. It smells like you are carrying houndreds of authentic roses/ peonies with you wherever you go.

  34. :

crisp tart rose with white musk. simple! nothing more to say other than it is exactly what it is – white musk rose. not sweet, entirely natural, very real bright smell. super long lasting with enormous sillage.

  35. :

    5 out of 5

More bearable in intensity than Perfumer’s Workshop Tea Rose, and yet in the same vein. I find this less than tolerable even so, the sort of tea rose scent that is NOT even slightly sweet. I’ve tried layering it, but unlike other Al Rehabs, Roses simply takes over and ruins everything else. For a room spray I might consider this…. but not for personal hygiene!
That said, I believe that many people who love a traditional Tea Rose will delight in this simple, affordable fragrance. On my skin, there is little to recommend such a strident rose, but on someone else the effect could be lyrical. And it doesn’t cost much to find out!
Excellent sillage and longevity. For that alone, I rate it 4 stars. 🙂

I’m not the biggest fan of any fragrance that comes in a roller ball packaging. However Al-Rehab Roses is definitely worth it. Most oils I have tried seem to be skin scents with little to no sillage. This not only has crazy good sillage but lasting power too!
Roses is simple but extremely pretty. To my nose this is rose with with the leaves and stems still on it. There is a green feeling to this rose, which I really enjoy. Also a good dose of white musk. This fragrance definitely comes off a floral and might be a little bit of an acquired taste. Honestly two of my favorite notes, this was practically a winner to my nose as soon as I sniffed it.
Overall I totally enjoy this fragrance and the intensity of this in its oil form. I’m glad it was my first Al-Rehab and a great budget rose for rose lovers like myself.

This one is a rose bomb! Incredibly strong and with huge sillage. On my skin it lasts about 6-8 h. The rose smell is very pure without being sweet like most rosy scents. It is a sharp and crisp smell that makes me feel very joyful, like I am in a garden filled with roses and the summer breeze is caressing my skin and relaxing my mind.

  38. :

A very powerful blast of rose. But not so much a romantic rose, but a green, crisp, botanical rose. It can perhaps be a bit too heady if you aren’t used to it.

Ok this will be a short story.
Reading how great the reviews were about how this is very “rosy”, I decided to buy this, after all I’m still on the quest for the perfect rose perfume.
Seven bucks for this was great news to me. So, very affordable.
When it arrived in the mail, I could already smell it while opening my mailbox. The scent was seeping through the packaging. I realized while walking around with the package in my hand that it INDEED SMELLS LIKE ROSES (I haven’t opened it yet).
As soon as I opened the package, revealing only the perfume inside its box, the silage blew me away. It was incredibly powerful! And I still haven’t taken the perfume out of its box! And when I did, fragrance was so intense, I’m pretty sure I filled the living room and dining room up with my perfume oil. After that, I slowly opened the cap off of the bottle. I briefly, ever so gently, took probably half a drop of the oil and put it on my neck. I see my mother walk past the room telling me I smell something like Arabian roses. Mind you this is not even a drop of the perfume on me. So that gives you an idea of what the silage is like.
Even though this does smell like roses, I smelled something else that overpowered the rose. I think that mystery note is what was most intense. Although it may be that the rose note that it is just so powerful that it morphs into another note? I’m not sure. I’ll wear it around and give an update to what people’s opinions are.
The staying power was alright. Maybe about 5 hours.
But overall I love it! I give it an 8.5-9. It wasn’t a ten because there’s that overpowering mystery note in it. (Or maybe not because it was that powerful.)

I find this scent to be intoxicating when first applied. Pure heavenly full blown pink roses! The dry down, on me, isn’t very musky, even though it is listed as one of the two notes. I find it smells almost like rose salt water taffy, which is quite pleasant. To me the spillage is moderate and the longevity a bit perplexing. After about three hours when I sniff my wrists, It is barely discernible, however, I can still smell the soft rose scent wafting around me. All in all, this is a lovely fragrance to wear and I also think it would work well layered with other rose scents with a bit more character. Keep in mind you must be an avid rose lover to enjoy this. I am and I do!

The Queen of the roses, with or without Aseel. A tiny drop worn discreetly can scent an entire open office space. Always attracts compliments from both sexes and seems to have a calming effect on most of the people I work with. People appear happier in my presence when I wear this! Correction: I feel calm and happy when I wear this!

WOW – what a potent perfume!!! I haven’t even put any on, nor taken the cap off the bottle and the entire area is filled with the scent of roses!!! Apparently a little bit must have spilled onto the box on it’s way to me.
I will definitely put the box in my underwear drawer–wouldn’t waste such a wonderful scent! As for actually wearing the perfume oil, that will wait until tomorrow because I have already scented my body for the day.

Amazing rose scent!! However there is a note in here that spoils it for me. If it wasnt for this then this would be a HG rose fragrance. As the reviewer says above vey good sillage and longevity.
update (14/4/14): im loving this once again….it lasts incredibly long with powerful sillage.
