Description

Rosé All Daé was originally inspired by an exceptionally aromatic Cinsault rosé originating from the Texas High Plains. Of course, this inspiration only served as a starting point, because what came to be was something that even the perfectionist in me was completely smitten by. Aged in stainless steel, with the sweet and tasteful olfactive notes of apple crisp, plum, brown sugar, golden honey, and tonka bean absolute, and soldered together by an exquisite Turkish rose absolute, this eau de parfum will keep you warm and elicit happy thoughts on some of the cooler Fall and Winter days.” – a note from the brand.

Rosé All Daé was launched in 2018. The nose behind this fragrance is Daniel Gallagher.

Absolute masterpiece. I have no idea how Daniel Gallagher managed to create this work of art. It smells like apple pie mixed with roses and plums and a boozy accord in the background. Unbelievably stunning. Sillage is strong while longevity is super strong at over 8 hours of solid projection. Full-bottle worthy. In fact one of the best fragrances I’ve ever smelled. Somewhat similar to Daniel Josier’s Ambre Tabac and Hermes Ambre Narguile but different from both due to the rose and plum notes in this.

Rose All Dae is Gallagher Fragrances’ latest release—their second in 2018, after Fineapple—and seeing its note description and story led me believe I’d like it, but the reality exceeded my expectations.
The main two notes are the apple and rose (continuous with Fineapple in this respect) but what complements these are a host of sweet notes: sugar, honey, plum, and apple. So it’s fitting sweet, fruity, and fun, with the rose providing a sense of groundedness that makes it a perfume and not just a sweet condiment.
The apple and rose remain front-and-center, though, even in the dry down, giving this an automatically-autumn feeling with slight gourmand touches.
It’s certainly denser than Fineapple, with slightly better projection and longevity, and feels appropriate for a summer evening and all day in winter, as well, a nice transition summer-to-fall-to-winter scent.
Rose All Dae is among the most delightful entries from Gallagher Fragrances, perhaps in my top three with Vanilla Silk and Fineapple. Very impressive, and I imagine I’m likely to need a bottle.

Rosé All Daé smells a lot like Parfums de Marly Oajan, but worse.
I’m not a fan of the opening on this one, but the drydown is very nice. Almost starts off with an earthy moss vibe, along with some rosé wine.
The honey is quite prominent, but not really too sweet. Plum joins in a bit too, as well as the apple crisp.
Not for me, but it’s alright. 7/10.
Go for Parfums de Marly Oajan instead!

I absolutely love this one! Its beautiful rich and boozy with a nice hint of coolness in the background. The Plum, Rose and Apple make this really sweet and gourmandish. But its not juvenile or gimmicky. I think the plum really wins this over for me! That deep fruity note pairs nicely with everything else and rounds it out beautifully.
    Worth checking out for sure.

Got the sample set and this one is what got my attention. All his other fragrances, in my opinion, are more suited for home oil diffusers; something you use to make your home sweet home smell good. So I got a bit disappointed. When I tried Rose All Dae I was immediately reminded of my beloved Costamor Tabacca, and bang!!!! Absolutely quite similar. Costamor Tabacca is discontinued, and like the name suggests, it is a super strong sweet tobacco scent. You gotta be in the mood to pull it off because it will knock your socks off. I will never let my bottle run out, but, Rose All Dae is a great alternative. Very respectable performance and sillage.
