Description

Roberto Cavalli launched a new fragrance in 2012, simply named Roberto Cavalli Eau de Parfum. It is created for women who want to be noticed and who prefer to wear Cavalli animal print dresses.

The fragrance is an intense oriental – floral and is based on notes of orange blossom, symbolizing Italian femininity, sensuality and extravagance. There are also ambery – oriental nuances of benzoin, pink pepper, tonka and vanilla. The composition is developed by Louise Turner of Givaudan.

Model and actress Elisa Sednaoui is the muse of this fragrance. The bottle is round topped with a tiara – shaped stopper containing the designer’s initials. Golden shades and leopard print decorate the bottle design and packaging.

The fragrance is available as 30, 50 and 75 ml EDP with 150 ml body lotion and 150 ml shower gel.

This has been my signature scent since it came out in 2012, that means for some 5-6 years, but this is my first review. After so many years I can responsibly say that I really love it! Although I like to change what I wear every day, but still this is the closest to me, the most natural. I love to use it in warm seasons too when the orange flower comes out nicely, but my favorite is winter time, being in a well heated room wearing something cozy and elegant and then I almost see the golden sun beams radiating out of it! I don´t know why but it makes me feel like being somewhere in the Far East seeing those altars full of flowers and golden Buddha statues, maybe the spices and benzoin do this. It can be very peaceful and calming, but I think at other occasions this is also a very provocative and seductive scent. So this fragrance really fits me very well.
I remember buying it, it was love at first sniff! I didn´t know anything about it, I just saw it on the shelf and grabbed the beautiful bottle like I knew it would become my favourite :-).

Oh mannn… I’ve done such a turn on this fragrance!!
At first I didn’t like it, smelt meh. Put it away for a LONG time.
And never thought much of it, never even reached for it.
But today, something made me want to try it 🙂 and am I gladddd that I did.
This smells so GORGEOUS, I literally doused myself with 12 sprays, wasn’t over-powering at all.. Was perfect, smells slight bubblegum-ish? Sweet, but mature. Very womanly.
    Sticks to clothes like magic.
    Sillage: 2 hours.
    Longevity: 6 hours (easily).

I get a lot of orange flower, with tiny hints of tonka, vanilla and benzoin. It smells floral, feminine, balsamic and sweet. The pink pepper makes it a bit fresh and sharp. I’m not a fan of orange flower so this won’t be a favorite of mine, but it is a nice fragrance with great performance. Sillage is moderate-heavy and longevity is 6-8 hours on my skin.

Wow! This is now one of my favourites. It smells like very creamy, balmy white flowers to me. It has a rich and smooth sweetness. I love it, delicious! Also happy with performance, which is about moderate sillage and moderate to longlasting longevity.

30ml version i have. Gift to my mom but i grab when 1/2 bottle, she didnt like much. But I love, scent is very classy, womanly, elegant, rich, confident. Jasmine i think in it. Balsamic but non overhelming. Longevity and sillage are good.

i had it when it first came out and i LOVED it! i wanted to give it another go a few days ago but couldn’t stand it. did they change the formulation or is it just that my taste has changed? couldn’t believe it how differently i percieved this perfume. it used to be sexy powdery feminine.. now it’s smells incredibly sinthetic. all i can smell is some plastic and alcohol.. so sad… 🙁

Seductive, but in an elegant way, classy, womanly, mature, not girly-like. For confident women who embrace their sensuality and femininity.

Another one that is leaving my collection. There’s nothing I hate about it, but nothing I really love about Roberto Cavalli edp. I never reach for it, so he’s off to a better home.

One of my favourites iv wore in winter and summer it’s definitely more summer scent but I’ve been complimented alot it’s definitely nice vanilla and Amber mix up iv had it few times and I’ll be definitely getting more.

    Tuberose 80% + jasmine / neroli 20% + sweetness of fudge.
Tuberose here is syrup-y (with coconut and peach nuances like thick tuberose essential oil). It reminds me of Moringa by Body Shop, Dali Wild, Michael Kors, Terracotta or Inspire.
But it’s not pure tuberose – jasmine and neroli are also detectable.

Yes, what else can be said about this one, lol..
Cavalli frag’s are for the most part fairly safe, inoffensive frag’s, so it’s no surprise that this ‘signature’ EDP fits that same criteria. I suppose this is a borderline ‘classic’. If you have a large fragrance collection or you’ve been in the fragrance game for a while, this will likely be boring for you (provided somehow you’ve never smelled this). On me this is a very vanilla white floral. I pick up hints of honey at times, but all in all this is just a very basic vanilla white floral. Can be a little cloying, at least to my nose. Moderate sillage and longevity.

Much has been said about this fragrance already. I have nothing new to add except that this has been a regular compliment getter for me at work amongst all the 300 perfumes and samples that I own. One of my colleagues even went ahead and bought a bottle for herself during the Christmas sale after smelling this beautiful fragrance on me. Well done!
Edit: Armaf De La Marque rouge smells exactly like Roberto Cavalli on dry down.

Thanks Fragranticans! Not much that hasn’t already been said, but I still want to write a review as I blind bought this based on reviews here & my search for the perfect Tonka-pink peppercorn. Would never have tested this as the OTT bottle put me in mind of leopard print lycra, clouds of hairspray & loud gold jewellery.
In truth it is more demure, less dated than I expected. Yes it is big, bold, sweet & womanly, but it’s also clean & creamy without being powdery. Very Italian. I can see how some reviewers find hints of Elie Saab in it due to the orange flower, but where Elie Saab goes dry & sour on my skin, the amber & Tonka keeps this warm & sweet for hours. Pink peppercorn notes only last first 20 mins tops. Probably not work safe as sillage is immense & ambery sweetness gives some people headaches.
Can’t wait to try this in colder weather.

Layers upon layers upon layers of vanilla, tonka, benzoin white musk and a sharp woodsy underpining of orange blossom. Thick, sweet, dense, dizzying, almost cloying, heavily vanillic, caramelic. The deep balsamic scent of benzoin is a successful addition which keeps the whole composition balanced as much as possible and on the “perfumey” track, instead of the tacky-cheap-foodish. Very very feminine and warm,a perfume with character, wintery and autumnal, not the typical vanilla offering. Does not go unnoticed. Lasts for more than six hours and wafts very well around the wearer.
Not for the girly-girls of BBW.

I recently tried RC eau de parfum, usually I avoid white florals because my body chemistry just doesn’t do well with that kind of notes, I prefer woody and balsamic fragrances. The opening of Roberto Cavalli EDP is quite loud, the orange blossom is dripping with sweet sweet nectar and honestly I thought oh no here we go again I feel a headache coming on. To my surprise very shortly after, a little bit of a bitterness came through accompanied with some pepper. I don’t know whether it is the pepper or there might be some neroli there that creates this bitterness. The sweetness started to fade by this point and the pepper,Tonka and benzoin became more prominent- the orange blossom playing the supporting role and adding a solar feel to what otherwise would be a spicy balsamic fragrance. The dry down is slightly smokey, rich, creamy and grown up sexy. I feel that RC EDP can be worn in autumn/winter but I prefer it on summer nights because in the UK the weather is never that hot.
I also want to mention that the opening of this fragrance reminds me of Armani Code and the dry down reminds me of Hpnotic Poison only a less smokey version.
I found that is fragrance is not an easy one. Some people will definitely find it too sweet others might find it too old fashioned either way I feel that body chemistry will play a huge part in this. I also feel that ladies who are 30+ might feel more confident wearing this because I know from my own experience 15 years ago I would have definitely shy away from this. Today however i enjoy these deep spicy scent.

I am a huge fan of Cavalli! their fragrances are so feminine, unique and don’t follow the trends…this one is warm, and the balsamic vibe keeps it from being another typical gourmand.,I love the African orange flower, it is softly addictive…I am happy to rediscover this fantastic scent..it is easy to wear, and I feel elegant wearing it
Longevity is nice, this isnt heavy or anything like that..it is almost airy in away..must be the orange flower which brings its sunny aura…it has a smooth sweetness too..the nose did great on that one..!! For the price you are getting something very pretty !!

Cavalli is warm, creamy, bubble gummy and playful. I detect orange blossom, vanilla, tonka and benzoin but what a wonderful composition just out of such a few notes! I’m in love not only with the scent but also with its bottle. This perfume is like a second skin on me and I feel like a yummy dessert 🙂 Recommended for cold seasons.

This is a lovely fragrance. It’s warm and creamy, and hugs close to my skin. I love it from first spray to dry down – cannot fault it. It has a hint of sweetness that is not overpowering and I feel it’s balanced just beautifully. Once it settles in there is a generous vanilla note that it is just gorgeous and dreamy. Longevity has been great on my skin, however silage on me seems to be lower than some others have experienced with it. I find the bottle to be somehow dated or not as visually appealing as some others, and I feel this disguises what is actually a very beautiful fragrance inside. I think I’m on my way to loving this one.

Balsamic, slightly powdery and close to the skin in a warm way. I enjoy this perfume a lot. The orange flower note is just subtile enough to refresh. It’s very elegant!

I’m another one who did a 180 on this. I blind bought this from the $19.99 shelf at our local drugstore, as it had been on my want list for a while. When I saw it there, I was super excited and immediately grabbed it.
At first, I did not really like it. I felt the benzoin was giving it a bit of “churchy” scent, and without giving it a second thought, I put it up on my swap list.
In the mean time, I saw a bunch of posts in the forum comparing it to JPG Classique Essence de Parfum, which I love, and then in another thread where it was brought up multiple times as a scent reminiscent of orange creamsicle. So I decided to give it a second chance, with a different perspective.
Now I love it, go figure! I love the orange nuances at first and in the dry down, it mingles with a very warm vanilla. The scent is soft and classy, not at all overwhelming, has bit of sweetness, and it really lasts a long time on the skin. So glad I gave it another chance!!

This stuff is gorgeous! A complete surprise to me. I usually am not fond of orange floower/blossom….but with this one, the balsamic vibe smooths all the notes out, creating a splendid blend.I somehow am getting a “tuberose” vibe with this too…???…interesting, because that flower note is not listed…so, the blend must be the cause of that vibe. This is a nice everyday type scent…and I find it “classy”. Also am feeling it has a retro-type vibe. I love this, and RC Nero Assoluto also. I am now curious to try RC Gold for Her (discontinued).
    A-
    The dry-down is awesome !!

This is a nice perfume, but just nice. I get bored so quickly when I use it. I find “Classique essence” by JPG win the race comparing with this. JPG has a better dry down as well as the longevity which is better, so I don’t need both in my collection.
But to be honest saying that this perfume is a “miss” also doesn’t do it justice!! I can see so many tastes will like and love it so easily, it is a romantic, quiet, and inoffensive fragrance !
    I give it 7.5/10.

This scent is simple, but has a rich creaminess to it that makes it totally appealing. Something old-fashioned in this mix too that reminds me of elegant scents of the 1950s that relied much more heavily on spiciness rather than flowers. GREAT sillage and longevity too. What more could you ask for? A great love.

I am also one of those people that had an 180 degree experience with Roberto Cavalli edp.
Tried a few years ago but hated it, and bought a bargain bottle off eBay to retest it.
And, even if it’s not a love, I quite like and appreciate it this time round.
I get spicy, woody, balsamic orange blossom, not very heavy but sexy and Italian.
Will definitely have its place in my collection.

I have to buy it again. It was my daily perfume before. I felt comfortable when I wore it. Wonderful presentation of classy perfume. On my skin stood feminine, sensual, sexy. Gives me that confidence that only the perfume can give. Suitable for every occasion and bearing many compliments.

I got a small taste of this perfume while waiting for an International flight, perusing the fragrance shop! I am not normally one to go for a current juice, aside from my Coco Noir, but here I am, typing this review, wearing this fume <3.
I do not find this perfume to be soft in the least. At first spray the orange blossom sits like a “wearable” fruit bomb. This stays almost the entire duration. 3 hours in I start to notice the vanille with just a tiny hint, hiding, of the benzoin. The dry down fades into the tonka and leaves a lovely soft scent that keeps me sniffing for more. I do wish the Pink Pepper was more apparent on my skin, but that isn’t a deal breaker for me. All in all, this is a nice addition that kind of sneaks it’s way into my vintage collection. I am definitely a fan!

  30. :

This is something I bought because I want to try fragrances that is out of my niche, I am impartial to vanilla cords because it tends to be sweet and I am not into sweet scents. I prefer deep Orientals.
And so I jumped straight into it.
At first spray I thought —- NO…NO…NO….too sweet for me.
I had to give the fragrance another chance. And although I do not love the pink pepper opening, I have enough patience for it to dissipate and I am left with deep vanilla-benzoin which is perfect for the warm autumn-winter months. It lasts on my skin a good 6-8 hours too, so that is surprisingly good!
This is sexy and confident fragrance. Not for the faint hearted because it is a BOLD fragrance, I spray sparingly to avoid being obnoxiously loud.
This is a keeper for me.

  31. :

    4 out of 5

This is a perfect “go to” fragrance – confidently sexy, quietly sensual. The blend of balsam, tonka and vanilla is beautiful, the floral is barely there, and the tiny hit of spice all but disappears by drydown. What’s left is a simple warm summery skin smell that layers beautifully, or stands quietly on it’s own on hot summer nights.
The vanilla is warm and not overly sweet, and tonka just naturally rounds out a good vanilla. I’ve learned to love balsam and it’s earthy goodness – adding just enough of a base to keep this from being too girly.
I love it’s simplicity. It sits close to the skin, lasts just long enough to see you through a warm breezy evening with friends, and is different from all of my other vanillas. The bottle is beautiful and classy – no cheap plastic or overdone animal prints. I like this one very much. Very much a unisex fragrance and very easy to wear.

I bought this perfume a while back ago after sniffing a tester in a Sephora. I did remember owning it of course, but I totally forgot about how it actually smelled like.
Judging it from its box, bottle, color of the perfume, and the advertisement, I was expecting it to smell like very strong, powerful, bold, and heavy, “LOOK AT ME!!!” kind of scent.
I’m quite glad it wasn’t. Well, at least to me.
To me, it smells like a confident woman. She knows who she is and what she wants. She could be wearing simple and timeless clothes. She doesn’t need to scream to get attention. She is nice and kind but not over friendly.
I was expecting it would be very fall/winter type of scent. However, it doesn’t smell too warm on me. Which was a nice surprise! (I own more than enough fall/winter appropriate perfumes so far!)
It has nice amount of sweetness and freshness, which makes it surprisingly wearable. I think it’s one of the kinds you can wear the whole year around.
    Edit:
I wore this in the early morning like before 6 am, I could smell it easily on me before I went to take shower around 8 pm. (Perfumes tend to last on me, so it’s not that much of a surprise. But I do like perfumes with a good longevity!)
The dominant scent on my skin is the orange flower, which I can smell the whole time. As the day goes by, the vanilla scent kicks in. Love it!

  33. :

    4 out of 5

Lovely, warm and despite the pink pepper not too spicy at all. Pepper tends to smell very bitter on my skin but here I got only sweetness. Vanilla and benzoin are very strong and mature, and the orange blossom compliments it all with an oriental note. Projects well, but isn’t too strong.
Unfortunately it gave me an allergic red rash reaction wherever I sprayed it on to my skin, and this happened with testers at different drug stores too. Hence a pass for me, and warning for others 🙁

    Теплый ваниль
Cavalli beautiful parfum for winter and for autumn. This is my first Cavalli parfum but I also have the Exotica. She is a sexy vanilla warm like coffee with vanilla flavor and citrus. There is orange blossom flower very pretty. Pink pepper give it spice. When she is dry I smell a little bit just little incense. Smoky but soft. This parfum is spicy and powdery clean and elegant. She make me feel so beautiful. A sexy parfum for sexy confident woman. I like to wear this in evening with my husband for dinner. The vanilla smell good with the scent of dinner on your table. Such a beautiful parfum. I love it.

Sexy, grown-up, classy. Lasts 10 hours on my skin. I tried dozens of perfumes, and this is the first one I truly fell in love with. Just perfect. I think it can work all year round, and I’m looking forward to trying similar scents.

The blast of spicy vanilla takes me back to perfumes of the 90s in a good way! Though it’s pretty strong and on the warm side, the fruity notes keep it from being a winter scent, and I do enjoy it all year. This perfume is a cross between Vanilla Fields and Bounce dryer sheets- and I enjoy it shamelessly!

  38. :

    4 out of 5

This is such a great scent! I enjoy the blast of pepper in the beginning, and the drydown of vanilla and african orange flower is sweet and warm, and also a little mature and sexy. This perfume’s longevity does fluctuate day to day, probably depending on humidity levels and my skin’s chemistry; so sometimes it lasts 5 or 6 hours and other days it only lasts about 30-40 minutes tops. I would still recommend it though. I can see myself even wearing this in summer too.

  39. :

    4 out of 5

This is a really pretty orange blossom I don’t get the bubble gum others get, I get a kind of hairspray smell. The pink pepper passes me by completly and I just get big beautiful orange blossom. This is somewhat similar to JPG Classique without the powder or spice. If you find JPG too powdery or spicy this is a good alternative. This one has its own charm and if you love orange blossom ( I do!) you should definitely own this. UPDATE: Unfortunately this stays pretty sharp. I was really thinking it was going to soften up more for me. I think that’s why I love Classique so much, while it IS spicy it’s also soft. Cavalli also kinda makes me sneezy (might be the pink pepper)

  40. :

    4 out of 5

This is nice. I’m not wowed, but it’s just fine. SHARP pink pepper at first, giving way to sweet orange blossom and benzoin. Perhaps a tad cheap smelling, it seems like something I would have worn out “clubbing” in my younger days. Fun and young-sexy, but lacking depth. I can see men liking this.
EDIT: I see other reviewers mentioning bubblegum… YEP!

  41. :

    3 out of 5

It seems that orange flower is a very popular note in perfumery lately, and it reminds me a lot of the new Elie Saab. Roberto Cavalli’s seems a bit less floral and more woody, it’s a warm fragrance.
It is sweet, balmy but sharp. You must be absolutely in love with the aroma to bare this for a whole day.

Is it me, or did Poeme and Elixir des Merveilles have a child together? Anyway, I love it.

  43. :

    5 out of 5

It opens sharp on my skin but settles nicely, in a very similar way to Just Cavalli. These two fragrances are somehow connected, there is something similar in them and you can tell that this is Cavalli. This one turns warm and rather sweet after a while on me, but it is definitely one of the deeper, noticed scents. Not fruity, not airy, not light. Sexy. Very. And confident.

  44. :

    3 out of 5

This perfume is one of those fragrances that is unique and powerful but everyone loves it. I was so sure my husband (who has an aversion for most perfumes – he usually tolerates citrus scents) was going to tell me to wash it off. But instead he called it “seductive” and it reminded him of the days we first met. Score!
There I went, spraying the perfume on me every chance I got. It is absolutely lovely and mostly warm vanilla on my skin. Big win because many perfumes just turn sour.
The only regret that I have, is that it disappears SO quickly! Perhaps I got a bad batch? In any case I went and bought a back up bottle. I couldn’t really smell the pink pepper until one day I literally showered myself with the perfume and the pink pepper then came out of the silage. I was somehow able to smell it far away, but not close to my skin.
Love love love this perfume. I don’t think I will ever get tired of it.

  45. :

I was craving orange flower with vanilla for a longer time, and couldnt decide if I should get this or Classique essence, since they are both very similar and both witg great sillage & longevity, powerful, sexy, “in your face” still classy and traditional mix of arange blossom & vanilla. at the end I decided to get this, because it lacks the gingerm which is too much fresh spicy component in the Clasique I rather dislike. I love both bottles though, maybe Im getting Classique later on, too, when the price is getting lower. love them both very much

Orange blossom and resins, and fortunately, on me, just a very slight hint of vanilla.
A warm clean skin scent, cozy and nice. Well-done but does not wow me, for some reason. Will re-test later.

    This is SENSATIONAL!
I was browsing fragrances for myself and also looking out for something for my partner when I sprayed this on a tester strip and walked out of the shop.
On my way home, I couldn’t stop sniffing it so I went back and bought a bottle.
My partner loved it and uses it very often now as it is one of my favourites on her. It is so attractive and lovely, as is she. (I have to say that, she reads my reviews.)
Honestly folks, this perfume is utterly fantastic and it blows more expensive offerings out of the water. I don’t know how it has so many votes as moderate on sillage as it is completely beast mode as far as I’m concerned. It’s thick, orangey, sweet, mysterious and sensual and it quite literally turns me on, it is super sexy!
My partner also has JPG Classique Intense and, to me, Roberto Cavalli edp has similarities to this, both in scent and performance.
    Also very, very long lasting.
Epic, awesome and superb with a cherry on top.

I had such high hopes for this one when I did the blindbuy.it’s a Roberto Cavalli with such an elegant bottle,it has orange blossom, vanilla, benzoin and Tonka as notes which are my favorites and I’ve read about it being sweet and sexy
It’s nothing like my imaginations.I was waiting for bold and sensual orange flower like elie saab’s or serge lutens fleurs d’oranger in a balmy, sweet and warm base.now I can get all the reviews mentioning bubble gum!
I can get something fruity and sharp as the most prominent.something a bit mangoey/passionfruity.it smells very similar to tridient tropical fruits flavored bubble gums.it’s not a bad smell and I can’t say I dislike it by no means, but I don’t think I’d insisting on buying a full bottle if I tried it first.or at least I’d buy it after buying the black one.this one smells exactly in the way I imagined the pink one of this series would smell, maybe a little warmer
I’m not going to give it away but it’s not going to be an elegant or sexy wintertime scent for me.I’m gonna use it for daily wear in mild weather or as a summer nights perfume.it’s really an office friendly, day time perfume to my nose.I really wished I could see the darker sides but I don’t.I can’t see even anything classic floral or too mature here.to be honest,I rather like it’s drydown, still far from my expectations but at least more mature than it’s opening
on my skin(and even clothes)roberto cavalli edp opens as a bright, sweet, bubble gumy fruity floral which dries down to a nice orange flower, vanilla combo, feminine, sweet but not too sweet or cloying, versatile, easy to wear and easy to like and definitely something that I call it a modern feminine scent
    It’s longlasting(+8 hours)but sillage is moderate
I think it can be a very good gift for women in all ages(+20)
I think essenza version is near to the thing I was looking for but unfortunately I can’t find it
    ❤❤❤

Beautiful scent! It’s so elegant, warm, and sexy. Benzoin and tonka bean are much stronger than orange blossom on me, but they really make the dry down breathtaking. I’d rather wear it as a night perfume, as it’s very sensual and passionate.

I still have my Vivienne Westwood, which I love. If you know that smell, it smells like VW, with a little bubblegum hint, & a small amount of an orange, perhaps the “Suntan Lotion” ppl are getting. On MY skin. I will try it soon on my clothes, where I normally spray, neck area, and update. This is veryyy light on my skin. The ppl saying it’s strong must have different chemistry than me. I WISH it was strong. It’s been on my arm, 2 or 3 sprays for 30 mins, & it’s a skinscent really…

Incredibly warm and mysterious perfume, these qualities may be probably owed to the benzoin. I’ve never smelled anything like this or Essenza – it’s Roberto Cavalli’s unique ingredient/combination. It should be applied in really reasonable amounts as oversprayed will be a killer. On cold days this perfume is a blessing!:D

I had this some time ago. I got some samples of this. It atracted my attention.I like it alot. It smells luxurious and the luxurious is the main smell and all of it’s smell.first spray is of bubbly some sort of sweet like bubblegum sweet and it is nice and pleasant but then it goes away quickly and it remains a luxurious warm and strong smell.it smells sensual, rich and sunny. It is seductive, well blended and feminine. This perfume is pleasant but i expected something else as in something that would make it less boring and more complex. For it’s luxuious smell and bubblegum opening this is a must, the luxurious smell is loud and wild, atracting attention it so nice and i enjoy wearing this anytime.i would bath in it 🙂
I would wear this with something minimalistic, having long nails and all dolled up.

Ooohhhh la la! Should be listed as the definition of come hither in Webster’s. Imagine an 18 wheeler backing up and unloading a big shipment of “sexy” and you’ll get the picture. This is complicated, classy, smouldering and creamy. A brunette misbehaving and getting away with it. You could be the female Pied piper with this potion on beckoning any who dare to come closer and follow along. It’s dreamy, creamy, smooth, spicy with an undercurrent of SOMETHING. But what? It tells Westwoods Boudoir to sit down and shut up. It’s a close relative of the niche fume, American Gypsy. Benzoinish orange creamsicle meets a powerhouse vanilla on a side street in Monaco and they’re on the prowl. Don’t wear it to meet your bfs Mama! She’s either gonna hate you or try to steal it out of your purse. A teensy, tiny spritz may be allowed on a tropical island but a big spritz is in order for reeling in not just a man but a crowd of men on a cool, airy night while the fire burns, sizzles and beckons. This potion may be what they had in mind when they penned “Love Potion No. 9”
This is a red dress, it’s black lace, black studded ankle boots but mostly leopard lingerie at only the most posh hotel in town. Provocative, sultry, intoxicating. Girls, have a plan when you spritz this ……… something is bound to happen. Quick and in a hurry. DANG, this stuff is intoxicating and irresistible!!! Classy and never trashy yet indescribable. It’s Hot Couture all grown up and vanilla-fied!!!!! And she’s not playing. This is some serious stuff!

    When love turns to hate.
    I don’t know what happened.
But I can no longer smell the boozy vanilla and resin I fell in love with anymore just a bubble gummy super sweetness that is just not what I want.
(pushes to the back of the perfume cupboard) sigh.
could it be a skin chemistry thing?
I’ll hang onto it in case there is some reason it has changed so dramatically in the hope it may change back.

After the resounding success of Roberto Cavalli Essenza I could not resist to ask EDP. Gorgeous tb, it is creamy and exotic. It has a more “tropical” hue and is enough sweeter. They share the same DNA no doubt but EDP is a composition of lesser intensity for ESSENZA. A powerful, creamy and exotic perfume. I have to play with it to be able to give an opinion but forged.

Although sweet sweet gourmands are my thing, I’ve been craving sweet white florals like Lady Million, Gucci Guilty, Cinema, Elie Saab EDP… I had a bottle of this that I blind bought for cheap, and never quite cared for it, but didn’t hate it.
Today I felt like putting it on. I don’t get the balsamic, gourmand, sweetness that others do… but I get a nice, although generic sweet floral. Long lasting, great sillage.
I love orange blossom, vanilla, amber, benzoin, tonka… but this comes across as a 90s powerhouse like Navy or Georgio Bev Hills.

I don’t get bubblegum like others do (dammit!), it’s actually not that sweet due to fleshy and bitter orange flower. At first the orange flower is really obvious, on the dry down the effect is soapy vanilla and benzoin. I like it but for
