I have the pressurized body/deodorant spray version of this, which is perfectly satisfying in terms of moderate sillage (fills the room on first spray), and longevity. I always apply deodorant spray to my clothing, so this could be part of it… Seriously, I’m just as pleased as if I’d purchased the edt. 😀
As for the scent itself, Red Roses is a CHARMING, clean, airy, bright, and classic floral bouquet. I smell white musk of the freshest and prettiest, a little powder,a little green goodness, and a watercolor painting of flowers that could easily contain red roses and hibiscus blossoms both. The rose here isn’t strongly like tea rose. In art terms it is more impressionistic than photo realistic. Which is fine – because this is one lovely bouquet of impressionism! The florals are supported perfectly by those touches of green, powder, and musk. It’s easy to wear and hard to dislike, frankly. Suitable for any age, provided they like to smell of flowers and cleanliness!
For the price – good value and great quality. Sadly, in the US not available on shelves. We have to be content ordering from India. (Where it is better value by far, but I digress.) As for practical uses, I can think of nothing shy of my beloved Wind Song which freshens better on a hot and muggy day. The fact that these Yardley body sprays also contain triclosan doesn’t hurt!
    Five Stars – A Wonderful & Useful product <3
Update – I’ve worn Red Rose all summer and cannot get enough. The more I wear her the more breezy and ROSY and beautiful I feel in her charming embrace. Top notch.

I have it in the body spray form and it’s just as strong and long lasting as an Eau de Toilette ..intense red roses ,just as I like the real ones very ripe and almost nose burning ..I love that ..Wish to try the one in the glass bottle but it is very hard to get in my country ..If you are not a floral fan don’t try this , it ‘s not comprising at all .

FRAGRANCE REVIEW FOR RED ROSES BY YARDLEY
    TOP NOTES ROSE NEROLI DAISY
    MIDDLE NOTES ROSE LILAC JASMINE
    BASE NOTES AMBER SANDALWOOD
This is like Yardley English Rose but with more flowers. This bouquet comes with daisies, lilacs and jasmines. Daisy finally. I’ve been looking for fragrances with a “daisy” scent even if it’s synthetic. I could indeed smell the daisy but of course this is a major rose perfume. There are 2 notes of rose and they do indeed smell like lush velvety red roses. They are however cheap and synthetic. The lilac and jasmine are at the edges around the rose and daisy. I found it interesting that they even had a daisy note. I associate daisies and roses with England so it was very cool to find a fragrance that contained those floral notes. The dry down and final part of the fragrance develops into an amber. There is a sandalwood listed on here but it’s soft and though perceptible not a big player. This is a floral amber perfume. It has a short life and smells like air freshner but that’s how I’m using it. I have never ever worn a Yardley fragrance as a perfume. It’s a beautiful aroma for your home. I love the red rose and daisy combination here. Could be better but it’s not a bad fragrance to scent your house with. A lovely spring time red rose.

I have a bottle of Yardley’s Rose, but not sure if it is called “Red Roses” but rather English Rose. It is lovely and light, and I now wish I had bought more of it at Big Lots that summer. Yardley is a gentle and well put group. I still miss “Oh, de London,” from the early high school days. So, hope Yardley gets easier to find and to buy here in U.S.

Is this still available, haven’t seen in in the stores in Australia. Would like toknow if it is anything like “Stella” Rose perfume and what the staying power is like. Have found in the past that Yardley perfumes are more like eu de colognes? If anyone has tried it or has bought a bottle could you please let me know. Just love the smell of a deep red rose so if you know of one that meets that criteria happy for any suggestions.
