This was the biggest surprise from oriflame, never thought this brand could make such a beautiful perfume. I still have a half bottle, I like it very much. Pwdery, with a luxury touch, and the apricot is so so beautiful in this recipe.
Sadly disappeared forever…I can t understand why they decide to discontiue something so beautiful…. (((

Very powdery, almost sharp, somewhat sweet but with very dense and strong base.
Compared to other powdery scents Pretty Swan is straight powder with no creaminess. It opens very raw with powder notes and pepper, and some citrus, but soon dries down to more solid woodsy powder scent.
Sillage is moderate but detectable for its uniqueness, staying power around four to five hours. It has to be mentioned that all notes are rather artificial and synthetic smelling, but the balance is right and powder&rice domination makes Pretty Swan quite attractive.
This is powdery scent brought to extreme. Powder all over the wear time, but it is pleasant indeed.

This was a love at first sniff back in 2015. I was sick and tired of all the sweet gourmand perfumes everyone around me was wearing, and I was looking for something unique and feminine on a budget. Pretty Swan was IT! It has very weak sillage and longevity (15 mins tops), but it is not something any girl could pull off. It has some bitterness to it. I get powder, rice, and something medicinal with very faint peachy notes in the dry down -quite sophisticated and classy. I don’t wear it as much now because of its poor performance, but it’s definitely a pretty little gem from Oriflame. Final verdict: Elegant, reserved, office/school friendly. Reapply often.

I bought this blind along with Eclat Femme Weekend – mostly trying to make the shipping cost worth it (seriously perfume should be exempt from alcohol import taxes it’s eye-watering). Of the two, I fully anticipated EFW to be the one I would be crazy about – it’s a Nathalie Lorson fragrance, and I’m usually happy to blind buy anything she creates… EFW is a bit of a wash out for me – I’ll review that in the future, but Pretty Swan…
    My goodness.
I have never like powder scents before this.
It’s very much the scent of ballet – the earthy, dusty, but beautiful and light art. You know how people sometimes say “this is a very pink fragrance” – where there are raspbery lemon florals? This is that skintone peach pink of satin ballet shoes that is never properly replicated in any fashion wear.
It opens to a bright apricot note – made very warm and peachy pink. I don’t get a lot of pink pepper, which is good – it would be far too spicy if it had a greater presence. I’m not sure what I’m looking for with the heliotrope, but the jasmine is nicely balanced. Drydown is vanilla-centric, powdery sweetness.
I’m fascinated by how some of the notes are just so out there (moss? rice? the hell??) and the perfume is so lovely and safe. Not boring safe, but nostalgic safe.
When I first wore this, I hugged my mum before I went out, and she commented that she had never noticed my natural scent before. She didn’t think it was perfume. Repeat, Pretty Swan suits my skin chemistry so well my own mother thought it was ME. While I would love a greater sillage (I secretly long for obnoxiously present scents that enter a room a minute before me), the close to skin sillage is what sells it.
Pretty Swan is delicate, musky, organic, and convincingly real.

The bottle is so pretty and adorns my vanity dresser table right now. This fragrance is no dupe for Lalique’s Satine but it does have the same kind of vibe: subtle, sweet, very pink in color, feminine, and dainty, a princess perfume. That being said it’s still full bodied long lasting and very adult. On me it wore for over 6 hours and has a sillage and projection of about an arm’s length which is how I like it. It leaves behind a sweet perfumy trail. The name Pretty Swan is fitting although I would have preferred Odette or Swan Princess. This is an elegant sweet powder. I smell the heliotrope right off the bat and it’s probably the flower that is most useful in the composition of this perfume. It creates a powdery sweetness. It’s like a little tutu. The opening is mandarin orange followed by a jasmine. This part of the fragrance reminds me of Miss Dior. But this is more subtle. I could smell a rose that is not listed on Fragrantica’s notes. There is plenty of vanilla in the base along with touches of birch wood and oak moss. Absolutely beautiful, romantic, sweet and dreamy. Great to wear after a shower but right before bed to induce sweet dreams.

Pretty Swan by Oriflame is soft powdery sweetness. It evokes a graceful ballerina’s fluffy tulle fabric tutu skirt as she performs pirouettes and entrechats. It also evokes a white swan as it swims quietly and just as gracefully on a lake. The fragrance smells “pink”. If pink had a scent it would be this one. It opens with a mandarin orange and bergamot. Fruity sweet but not intense. There is also a distinct apricot which gives it a juiciness. The flowers in this fragrance include heliotrope, jasmine and I swear I could smell either a peony or rose which is not listed on the notes on Fragrantica. It’s mostly heliotrope however, beautiful soft heliotrope. The powder notes are heavy and it does smell like body powder as you apply it on your skin, but this effect doesn’t appear until close to the dry down. The rice scent is very unusual but it blends well with rice and that additional pink pepper from the top notes. There is supposed to be musk in this scent but I couldn’t really pick up on anything other than a very light white musk and it helps with the imagery of a swan’s body. Finally in the final act of this ballet, you get sweet vanilla and you discover that this whole time the vanilla has been in charge of the entire production. It’s a vanilla powder. I don’t know how they did it but this smells like the loveliest fragrance that a professional ballerina could actually wear while performing, rehearsing, and attending ballet class. It’s soft and subtle and inoffensive so if you’re a ballet student and want to wear a perfume to class, try this one. It makes a statement. It’s very much a Swan Lake Odette fragrance and it won’t hit anyone’s noses hard because it’s a skin scent that doesn’t project or can be detected at all (except on yourself while you wear it). Absolutely heavenly and pretty. It’s also suited to wear to bed or to scent your lingerie with as you go to bed in your lingerie. It helps me to fall asleep as it’s such a soft dreamy scent. I’ve even had ballet dreams wearing this to bed. There is a resemblance to Lalique’s Satine because it share some of the same qualities provided by notes of heliotrope, vanilla and powder. However I would say that Pretty Swan is more full bodied and lasts a lot longer than Satine. This wears for hours and hours. I counted the time and it’s on me over 6 hours. I love when that happens because I can check to see if the scent is still on me throughout the day and I love it when it’s still there!

Such a beautiful bottle, such a beautiful scent. Love it from the first time I smell it and I decide to buy it for my sister. Very femmine, elegant, delicate and long lasting. Suitable for day and night, spring and summer

I want to try this because of the pink pepper, it’s one of my favorite notes. But what I get is a too sweet and cloying smell of L’Instant. Don’t get me wrong. Both may suitable in colder area, but here in the tropic, it’s just too much. Thanks God it doesn’t stay long.

This is a fragrance I wear during all seasons as it’s delicate and not too heavy for Summer but it’s warm and cozy enough for the Winter.
The first time I smelled this perfume I fell in love with the scent as I was looking for a powdery fragrance for a long time and this one has the most predominant powdery notes from all the perfumes I have smelled until now. I love everything that smells like a baby or talcum powder as it gives a clean refreshing feel. This fragrance as well smells clean, warm and young.
I always feel calm, delicate and innocent when I wear this perfume.

Pretty Swan is a delicate and subtle scent. It is a bit sweet, powdery and warm fragrance. It stays close to my skin and unfortunately it’s not very long-lasting…Although I like wearing it, specially in Winter and Spring. One of my favourite scents by Oriflame!

I’m not a big fan of Oriflame perfumes. Usually I find all Oriflame/Avon/celebrity quite chemical which just annoys me so much that I;m not able to stand any of them.
Pretty Swan is an exception. This is one of not many pefdumes that haven’t annoyed me with time (which happend even with most high-end fragrances for me). It is somehow soft, but not choking (it is powdery but not in an obvious way as for example Dahlia Noir). The big advantage is that I don’t smell any synthetic notes here.
It has very soft sillage and poor longevity- it lasts max 1 hour. Howether is is quite cheap so it is not a problem to re-apply.
It is also important that it is not possible to spray more max 2-3 times at once, because when you use more the fragrance is not nice anymore.
So, this is quite a good choice for cheap, but pretty fragrance.

I totally agree, it’s nothing like L’Instant Magic however it’s very nice and sweet and refreshing at the same time. Still, it’s a totally different story, despite the beautiful vanilla and tonka beans in it. I’m a big fan of L’Instant Magic and the fact that I had to give Pretty Swan away to my mum, as it simply irritated me a bit – probably because its slight similarity to Light Blue caused by jasmin, musk and some citrussy notes – is the best evindence for me that they’re not really related. Not for me at least. However now I’m getting more and more positive about Pretty Swan, I love it when my mum wears it and sometimes I spray a little on my wrists, but never all over myself:)

I own 2 bottles of L’Instant Magic and bought the Pretty Swan hoping it will be alike.
It is not really that alike. There is one single note (I dont know really which one ist that – I get it only when I smell the bottle, it’s like a shadow) that remind me of L’Instant Magic.
There is nothing wrong with Pretty Swan, it’s pretty, powdery and feminine. But it has not much to do with L’Instant Magic. So don’t blind buy this scent if you are looking for L’Instant Magic dupe.
I will use it from time to time, but it will never bit my beautifull deep sensual and ever longlasting LIM

I am sorry but i won’t agree to identify it as similar of L’instant magic, this is very aromatic like a aromatherapy fragrance and unfortunately it’s not calming me down, i feel so masculine when i wear it. Magic is my favourite fragrance but i find it too expensive that’s the reason i bought this but it made me disappointed 🙁

This one wasn’t the most urgent one to test but the rice in it is what made me curious and contributed to my testing it this soon.
The bottle is easy to carry and nice.
The sillage is 0; no matter if I sit or walk, it stays nailed to my skin.
The longevity is amazing on me.
The scent itself is interesting. It starts sweet. I was scared of the apricot, thinking of the heavy one in Treasor, but there was no reason for it. Regardless of the ingredients, this smells on my skin (and on my skin only, others have tried and did not get such effect) like something we call eurokrem in Serbia, don’t know what to compare it to So as to make it clear. Not belonging to a widespread culture whose products can be seen everywhere, I felt more than surprised to see a perfume that unintentionally smells like a product from mine. I don’t fall for gourmands but this is appealingly, maturely smooth.
Following this phase is an expected cosmetics wibe from the rice. This is when I am absolutely sure I love this perfume. With time it becomes more delicate and grows more relaxing. When thinking of relaxation usually one would mention lavender or chamomile; lavender does serve the purpose to a high degree, cant comment on chamomile since I hate it. But an uncrowned king of relaxation, now I know,is rice. This perfume has taught me that rice rocks and I am more than eager to try more scents with it.
This does not speak to me about femininity of any age, era or type. It smells unusual, delicate and relaxing, not innocently relaxing like a safe child in a new linen, neither is it hedonistically relaxing like a spa weekend. This is relaxing in a wise, quiet and simplistic way.
Lovely offering from Oriflame if we don’t count sillage.

    it’s more peachy than powdery
    such a dissapointement 🙁

I just adore the bottle – it just looks expensive and beautiful. The juice itself is soft and powdery. At times it reminds me of Kenzo’s Amour (must be the rice note), but Pretty Swan is much softer and lacks in sillage and longevity. However, it is good for layering and works great when I’m in a relaxed mood and in need for something cozy and nice 🙂

Elegant, soft and ladylike. This perfume truly reminds you of the beautiful ballerina. I applaud Oriflame for this because they rarely put out interesting perfumes lately.

It’s nice and feel almond in it.Light and powdery a little bit sour but I like it because it1s not too sweet like the other teenager fragrances. It’s for romantic woman who didn’t want to smell like a flower bunch.
I love gourmand fragrances like this.
This bottle is beautiful. And long lasting!

Gentle, feminine perfume, powdery and also suitable for day and night. It leaves a feeling of luxury.

Very soft and powdery, so if you are into powdery scents you’ll love this. It’s peppery at first then I get the rice and vanilla although is not a sweet perfume. A very nice and femenine scent and the bottle is very pretty too.

To me it’s a L’ intant magique copy.
    They are very very similar.
Very nice perfume. Very mediocre lasting power though.

Exactly what I was looking for as a gentle, powdery scent! Though it should last longer.

Very powdery, and I also get a lot of rice. Actually a pretty scent, but I think it has a synthetic feeling about it, too. I feel that way with most of Oriflame’s perfumes. The bottle is gorgeous, though.

Gentle air, like a cloud, the flavor! But it is not resistant.
    Seeking a more stable analogue.
Absolutely NOT similar – L’Instant Magic Guerlain
