Description

PoP Collection is a described as a minimal and refined fragrance of unique character that originates from the balance of pink grapefruit, raspberry, rose, jasmine and patchouli. It is the result of the collaboration between Costume National and Master Perfumer Dominique Ropion.

The bottle reveals one of four vivid colors – which you will only discover once opening the box – for a pop chic allure. The iconic bottle is now painted in four different colors: turquoise, orange, red, and royal blue. The juice within each of the colored bottles remains the same.

“Sparkling notes of pink grapefruit and raspberry pulp blend with blackcurrant absolute for a joyful and energizing top. A floral heart of rose and jasmine refines the composition with its grace and charm, disclosing a strong and extremely feminine character. Notes of patchouli heart, ambergris and cashmeran wrap the floral bouquet with warmth, mystery and depth, reveling a sensual intensity.”

Available as a 30, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

Pop Collection was launched in 2011.

Just confirming what others are saying.
Yes, it is a very pretty fragrance, but it doesn’t leave a lasting impression but is nicer than most of the chemist line or designer perfumes. I do get a cheap vibe from it too.
‘Best pick from a bad bunch’ kind of good!
And the bottle is no motivator to purchase either!

Fairly non descript in the way of uniqueness, as other reviewers below this have also stated.
Sorry to report this as just another ‘meh’ perfume.
Great perfumes don’t need silly marketing approaches like this ‘random bottle colour’ thing going on.
To my nose, this is very unisex. I was surprised to see this as ‘for women’ and not ‘men and women’.
Overall, and in fairness to this scent, it’s much better than many of the other ‘meh’ fragrances on the market today.

It was highly discounted in clearance shelf and I really wanted to buy it.recently I’m into scents with rose, raspberry and cashmeran or musk and the idea of different colored bottles seems interesting
I sprayed some on paper but I could barely smell it.sprayed it on my hand and walked around smelling myself
Mmmm, seems like a soft and pretty fruityfloral.I could easily detect raspberry and rose, also something I could only see as cashmeran.I liked the overall scent and I was ready to give it a chance.the only thing bothered me was that it was too weak.too faint.good that I wasn’t in hurry to buy it because it didn’t stay on my skin for even one hour. Unfortunately it was too weak so I had no choice but pass

A great modern fruity chypre. Opens fresh-soapy-citrusy-berry jam-ish. Middle and base are musky-patchouli-mossy with a cold-icy touch, like the Sisley fragrances (Eau du Soir, Eau de Campagne). Very good, especially for summer.
Longevity is the only disadvantage – less than 3 hours on my skin.

A typical cashmeran powdery start on me, that got me interested. As So nude beeing the only CN I ‘ve tried so far , I must say I like this better. After the powdery and a little fresh start this starts to be a rasberry patch scent like YSL Elle and Elle Intense more so…but pop is softer and closer to skin without the deep and sometimes overpowe r ing patcholie. I like Elle Intense very much and would not pick this ever instead, but saying if you like a rasberry, musk , patch kombo – you might wan’t try this out !
The sweet raspberry dissapears kind of quickly and what’s left is that musky patch kind of soil and eart dry kind of skin scent.
I like the opening wich had more character and was stronger …and wished pop had stayed that way.
But if you like the eccentric series and raspberry patch blends it is worth a try. I like these type of scents , but this vanished into skin to quick.
Noo buy for me, but will sure enjoy the rest of my sample, thanks !

Please forgive me for saying this but Pop Collection does not smell niche. It’s a crowd pleaser more than anything, a somewhat predictable fruity floral with that all too familiar hint of sweetness.
I’m a huge fan of Scent, Scent Intense, 21 and Costume National Homme, so I guess you could say that I expect a lot from this brand. I really like the ‘pop’ concept, and the mystery surrounding what colour bottle you’ll end up with after purchase, however the scent leaves me dead to say the least.
Pop Collection for starters is a really soft fragrance, barely discernible on the skin after a few hours. I can detect a sweet, sugary raspberry accord mixed with jammy blackcurrant, pink roses and earthy patchouli.
I feel like I smell sugary raspberry scents everywhere, and although I am a bit of a sucker for sweet scents, I would seek out something more bold than this. Costume National can be fairly expensive when bought at the recommended retail price, so I would avoid paying a huge amount for Pop Collection at all costs.
Of course my tastes make me biased in my choices, so in saying that, if you enjoy sweet fruity florals, by all means try Pop Collection. Who knows it might be more your cup of tea.

It opens with fruity notes (I mean it has dominant raspberry scent), continues subtle floral notes (I don’t think that it’s sweet). After that point it becomes a warm, oriental scent suprisingly. I definitely love this fragrance -like all CN lines and it worth to try. I may describe Pop Collection as fruitiental and it’s on my wish list!

Nice, light inoffensive fragrance, but not something special or memorable. Longevity is about 5 hours on my skin. And I’d call it more floral fruity than oriental floral.
