As I sprayed it on my skin the scent was amazingly delicious: bright happy pomelo I fell in love!
But mäeeh.. Just as quick this fragrance turned to nothing special. Super cheap white flower scent all over me, nothing reminds me of pomelo or any of the opening notes. This is the 1-euro perfume quality with a 180 euro price tag. Thanks God it is only a sample I invested in! Bad.

Amazing scent for a man, too, but is of extremely low longevity and sillage. Is not worth the price.

I was talked into buying this by a sales person in selfridges uk .
Got to admit this , after been in the perfume game for a while , this is one of the best fresh smelling perfumes I’ve tried .
The opening is so refreshing and moral boosting but sadly it is so poor in performance . After the initial opening for me it only lasts up to an hour . And maybe two hours as a skin scent after the two hour mark it’s completely gone .
Please atelier cologne do this amazing scent justice , make it perform better somehow .
If this performs better this would be one of the best summer fragrances for men .

I love this one. I haven’t got a lot of experience with the brand but have smelt most of them at least once. For me this is definitely the best followed by California Clementine & Orange Sanguine. This is citrus done right and a note like grapefruit has been done so many times in popular designer scents but this smells different. It opens with a high quality bitter grapefruit. After a few minutes it smooths out a bit and the grapefruit gets more tart like. In the background there’s definitely some sort of vanilla vibe going on (not sure if it’s in the note listing as I haven’t really studied the full list). For anyone looking for a bright unisex high quality natural smelling citrus, definitely worth a try. Even if the dry down falls a bit flat I still think the opening is well worth it and just keeps me wanting to respray it through the day.

It starts off pleasant enough as a bright grapefruit and orange citrus juice, but it dries down like sticky citrus residue on a warm day. No.

I thought the grapefruit was a bit much with this one, at least for me. It kept reminding me of gin too…it has a metallic smell grinding all the way through. After two hours I had to scrub. If anyone wants a brand new sample it’s yours; message me.

On paper: Damn what a nice grapefruit.
Oh my God I just caught myself huffing the paper. The grapefruit note lasts so much longer than Orange Sanguine’s blood orange that this might be my new favorite citrus.
Except I like the ultimate dry down of Orange Sanguine more ; Pomelo Paradis becomes a non-descript floral.

Love this pomelo and mint (I feel it very rich) combination. Fresh, sweet citrus perfume. For me, not fan of pomelo, this one is one of the most beautiful scents. It is not strong perfume, perfect for summer or spring season.

Fresh and sweet! It’s so young, cheerful and bubbly – that’s honestly the person who would wear this. Also, this reminds me slightly of Haribo Gummy Bears, which I see other people have also mentioned.

Pomelo Pradis is probably the most realistic smelling citrus I’ve tried. It’s exactly like pealing open a mandarin orange. I really smell the rind. It’s not super complex, but the fact it’s very realistic makes it unique and very appealing to me. It doesn’t get sweet at all. Perfectly refreshing for summer time

I knew i would love the scent itself, but based on reviews and its composition I expected that it would be gone in a few hours.
I had a pleasant surprise. I applied the sample fresh out of the package 🙂 more than 6 hours ago and I can still smell it. And I am not young (read: I am old, 56 to be exact) so I would not have expected that. OK, it is really a skin scent now but it still makes me very happy when I put my nose to my wrist and catch that lovely dry-down.
I am not going to buy a full bottle but get samples/decants occasionally because this kind of scent just makes me happy.

Yet another review saying virtually the same thing. As much as I would like this to read like an Amazon Review of Haribo Sugar Free Gummy Bears, PP is not that category.
It is actually quite plain and predictable. I am not much into citrus scents though. My bias against citrus is long-lived. I grew up dirt poor cleaning churches and banks to support my family (mom, sister, and me)starting at age 10. The orange/grapefruit in PP is so prominent all I can think of is me as the little Carol Burnett cartoon at the end of her program with the mop and the sudsy water it’s been dipped in is laced with orange miracle cleaner.
This is not quite to my food aversion of meatloaf but it is not something I want to wear daily- I am humble enough and remember working while my friends watched cartoons and slept in. I do not need a perfume (a moderately pricey one at that) to remind me.
Objectively, if citrus is your thing I would suggest you try it Atelier is a great house and this may just be what you are looking for. Projection is decent…. longevity is also middle of the road.

I expected this one to be a stunner but it just turned out to be nice. It didn’t wow me and i found the performance to be absolutely shocking! It makes L’humaniste (which i really like) seem like A*men in terms of performance lol. It’s also more on the feminine side so therefore i can imagine this being nice on a woman.

Pomelo Paradis has sometihng between Hefty Hawaiian freshner and niche diswashing machine soap.
    Too loud, too strong composition.
    Headache, no thank you.

This is a beautiful summer scent: tart, fresh, citrusy and grapefruity. As others have said, the sillage and longevity are poor, which is unfortunate. It’s expensive, so I would buy something similar that lasts longer.

  17. :

This is wonderful from the first spritz. Juicy, sweet, refreshing citrus.Amazing on hot humid days. Sadly, as many others have mentionned the lasting power and sillage on this is very poor. If this was at a price point where I would feel comfortable spritzing away at my heart’s desire, this fragrance would already be in my collection. Sadly, I don’t know if I can bring myself to purchase it even though the scent is amazing.

Pomelo Paradis by Atelier Cologne smells like gummy bears! This is a happy, bright citrus scent just bursting with juicy pink grapefruit and sweetened up with orange blossom. This is such a happy scent, very sunny and easy to wear – get loads of compliments on it too! The longevity and sillage are not great, but I enjoyed the fragrance too much to pass it up, I had to get a bottle! So spray liberally and bring the bottle to freshen-up with later!

Love this…. Sprayed it on my skin, smelt it, & got my wallet out & bought it on the spot
longevity is not fantastic, 1 hour of projection & then tones down to a skin scent for the next 3- 4 hours on my skin.. So I get roughly around 4-5 hours with this one.. But when something smells this good, I don’t really care that I have to reapply this to last 8 hours

I’m wearing this (from a sample) right now on my wrist and though I love citrus fragrances, I just don’t love this one.
The first whiff when applied to the skin is juicy, ripe grapefruit. You feel instantly transported to a hot summer morning of fruit in Saint Tropez (thinking specifically of the hangover breakfast of Francoise Sagan of grapefruit and coffee in “Bonjour Tristesse”).
The first few minutes are delicious, joyful, special.
5 minutes later, I’m not getting much at all from this fragrance. The citrus fades and I’m left with – what smells like ash with just a bit of bitterness? I’m not getting any of the floral notes, and it really goes right to the base notes. This is perhaps the vetiver, but is is a dry, smoky vetiver instead of the floral lush ones I tend to be fond of.
I really like AC’s other fragrances – Orange Sanguine is on my wishlist after using up a few samples – but this one just doesn’t do much for me after the first few sniffs.

  22. :

What is this? Is this a cleaning product? Pure lemon, grapefruit and maybe some really muted undertones of something floral. This is, in my opinion, citrus done badly. It does try to mellow out into something resembling a perfume, but it also fades very quickly into oblivion so whatever positives exhibited are ultimately outweighed. 4/10

  23. :

I love grapefruit and citrus, and I don’t love this.
I’m not getting the juiciness of the fruit or the bright zest of the peel. It’s mostly the bitter pith. The fragrance is masculine, but that’s fine with me since I wear a lot of traditionally male fragrances.
I’m at a loss with what to do with this one. It’s something that I might layer with Eau de Cartier Zeste de Soleil or Hermes Jardin de Monsieur Li. Both of those would impart the fresh, fruitiness that this one is oddly missing.

  24. :

I’m trying this on in February, and it’s not hot, so that makes a difference, since I think this is more refreshing and desirable in the summer. However, I’m sticking to my Guerlain Aqua Allegoria Pampelune (which lasts longer and has a less linear, more complex dry down). This is a burst! A sizzle! A smack of instant, fresh, incredibly realistic grapefruit (or okay, Pomelo, fine). It’s tart and tangy and a wake-up call that lasts about two minutes. And then it’s gone. Totally gone.
One has to ask herself two questions: 1) Do I want to smell like a grapefruit? 2) Do I want my cologne or perfume to last? The answer to one is “no” and the other is “yes”–and here it cancels out. You won’t smell like a grapefruit for long.
I would never buy a full-bottle of this, but one thing I do (that may seem “wasteful) is in the morning, I spritz a bit of Atelier Clementine (or one of the Aquas–pick one–Herba Fresca say) onto a hot cloth or facial wipe for a pick-me-up to just bury my face in for a few minutes. It’s very revivifying like a “cup of coffee” for the senses. It instantly puts me in a cheerful mood, and in about 10 minutes is gone. This would be perfect for that, but not FB perfect at the price.

This perfume is all about the citrus!!! It starts so sharp,it feels like you are in the middle of a citrus fruit! Then, the citrus calms down and the mint note appears. And after 10 mins,it still keeps the citrus tone, but so much warmer,it feels like a perfume specially made for a warm sunny day surounded by orange trees! It feels good 🙂 the lasting power is not brilliant though.

I typically love Atelier citrus scents. I am not sure why this one is just a like for me. The pomelo scent is there, with its juicy grapefruit note, but I also get a very dry, dusty top note that takes a while to quiet down. It is almost as though someone has taken the rind of the pomelo, dried it, and made an essence of it. I would prefer this if I got more of the sweet flesh, and less of the dry pith. This one is relegated to around the house wearing rather than taking it outside to share with the world.

  27. :

    5 out of 5

Another excellent citrus from Atelier. Pomelo Paradis is basically just transparent grapefruit with a touch of realistic bitterness. The dry down is ambery, as opposed to Guerlain’s Pamplelune, which is more vanillic. Both are great options for grapefruit fans. I prefer the Guerlain by an edge.

The first time I wore this it was wonderful. Bright, pure grapefruit, not bitter, just a clear blast of grapefruit. The next day it turned on me, so I remedied that by putting in on my clothing. I love it, it’s somewhat linear which in this case is fine with me. I don’t want it to change. The opening is transporting and I’m glad it doesn’t move from that as it transgresses throughout the day. It’s perfect.

  29. :

    3 out of 5

Very pleasant citrus scent, doesn’t smell cheap or synthetic, but amazingly terrible silage and longevity – it wears off almost as you spray it on, I have to really smell into it to be able to feel that it was there at all 30-40 min past application..
Great fragrance to try out as a sample, but definitely not worth paying full price for a full bottle.

The fragrance itself is gorgeous. Having never smelled a pomelo before, I will say that it smells exactly like a cut grapefruit. Of all the AC, this one is the most fleeting. Cedat Enivrant lasts for hours on my skin; Pomelo Paradis is gone within the fist hour, if not before, which is quite sad.

My introduction to this line was by very snooty saleslady at Neiman Marcus who cornered me with her bottle one day as I was passing though and pressed scented card on me. I was like “er…this is nice I guess”. I guess I shouldn’t have said “I guess” because she looked like I told her that it was dog poop and declared that many of her customers just LOVE this. Gee, well good for them. Despite all this, I tried it again later, in Sephora because I did think it was nice. It basically smells like freshly cut sweet oranges in a top notes. Unfortunately, it turns into sort of citrusy light floral shortly after(5 min later) and basically stays that way. Which is not long. At least on my skin. I think it lasted less than 30 min.
I like it but I really think its overpriced for what you get.
PS I think this is too feminine for a guy. Personally I wouldn’t like it on my husband. Just saying

  32. :

    5 out of 5

The opening of Pomelo Paradis is such a delight: sweet, juicy, sparkling and effervesent, like orange soda. I seem to be going against the vibe here, as on my skin, there’s only a brief aromatic tartness in the few minutes of the opening, and Pomelo Paradis lacks the characteristic bitterness of grapefruit. Therefore, I’m reminded of a high-end orange soda instead of a realistic grapefruit.
Like most fragrances in Atelier Cologne’s Collection Originale such as Orange Sanguine and Cédrat Enivrant, most notes in the pyramid of Pomelo Paradis are tangential on me, and serve to complement the eponymous material. Here, the orange soda turns into orange gummy bear, as the texture of the scent somehow turns a bit more opaque and chewy, probably due to iris and amber.
Pomelo Paradis has a soft sillage on me, and the longevity is around 7 hours. Compared to Orange Sanguine, Cédrat Enivrant and Bergamote Soleil, Pomelo Paradis is probably the least realistic citrus fragrance among them, and the sweetest as well. While Pomelo Paradis is not unbearably artificial to my taste, I must admit that the gummy bear phase is not my favourite either, and I wish the orange soda phase could last longer. Because of this unexpected warmth and sweetness on me, I think it can work pretty well in a cool spring/autumn day as well, thus quite versatile year-round.

  33. :

    4 out of 5

Its pleasant, nice and very wearable. Its a little juicy, but basically at the end of the day it smells just like some sort of bubble bath kinda soap you might use. Longevity is good, but projection is low however you do get wiffs of it through out the day. I do agree it leans a little on the feminine side.
A story actually about those last 2 parts maybe even proving this point. So I put this one on earlier in the day one time. I thought that it had basically disappeared and was skin scent mode. A girl wanted to hang out said she had to take a shower first. Anyway as we were hanging out that day, everytime a gust of wind came I got this really nice almost cozy, snuggly(but deff kinda girly)wiff. At the end of the day I told her she smelled really good today. She was like what? No thats you basically.
So ya kinda awkward funny when I realized oh, I still can smell it, it is me lol. So I guess this leaves a bit of a deceptive scent trail. And the amber in this does come out a bit even with all the fresh aspects to give it a bit of cuddly comfortable feeling in the air. But considering I thought it was her, ya probably leans a little feminine. lol
Anyway tldr its nice but cant justify owning a full bottle of it as is for me personally. I feel like most the atelier stuff for me that ive worn are basically just sorta “dumb reachs” if you will. Something safe just to wear out and feel clean and inoffensive. But as it is, I already own to many fragrances that fit this criteria.

Pomelo Paradis, “Yes, please.” This is a really good freshie. I drained my 7.5 ml super fast. The grapefruit is realistic and the dry down to me leans a little feminine with white flowers but its balanced nicely with a rich, aromatic base. PP has a fair amount of longevity for a cologne and the sillage is good for work. If you like grapefruit and a warm dry down..Pomelo Paradis is a good choice for you.

Very realistic, with all the bitterness of the real, whole fruit–a little too realistic for my taste.

Fresh, bitter, very realistically, it smells exactly like a pomelo juice.
I really like it – is something new – there are not many fragrances with pomelo as main note.
Although not apparent in previous reviews that would even have a decent longevity, I think I could feel it as a notable presence for more than 8 hours, which is very good for a fresh perfume.
Longevity requires, however, a price – for such performance, the fragrance has in its composition a large dose of amber notes that prevails after 1-2 hours, which is not too lovely for a fresh scent.
Also, excessive naturalness, together with an extremely simplistic architecture, makes me quickly bored of it and the fact that I should use a 100 ml or 200 ml bottle of it simply terrifies me.
    Fragrance 6/10

Atelier Cologne Pomelo Paradis is accurately named in that it’s dominated by its eponymous note of pomelo, similar to grapefruit, which gives it its signature tart character throughout the fragrances life. Other notes like mint also create sharpness but the driving force is the pomelo. I knew myself to be a grapefruit fan previously, from fragrances like Creed Himalaya to C.O. Bigelow Elixir White, but in Pomelo Paradis the grapefruit aspect is much less sweet and a bit less inviting, in part why I would disavow similarities to Orange Sanguine, a much juicier and sweeter fragrance in its own right. The dry down into the amber and vetiver doesn’t come soon enough, as this remains tart on my skin for hours.
Performance and pricing are comparable to the other freshie members of the Atelier original line (average and $120 for 100ml, respectively) though the bigger 200ml bottle is discounted at Beautyspin for $150 contra the retail $195.
An interesting option and nice expansion with a tarter option, this recent release isn’t for me, but fans of tart, fruity fragrances are likely to enjoy it more.

A most excellent citrus scent, as photo-realistic as Orange Sanguine is for an Orange, Pomelo Paradis is that for a Pomelo. The nuanced ambery notes in the dry down also serves to round it up nicely and adds performance.
The uniqueness stems from Pomelo being not as common a citrus note and in Pomelo Paradis it is clearly a Pomelo note and not any other citrus (not grapefruit, not yuzu, and definitely not bergamot/orange/lime). Another great one from Atelier Cologne, who continues to show that they make great scents!
I have no problems with longevity which is in the 7-8 hours range… Sillage is moderate and turns softer after 4 hours. Good performance especially for a citrus focused scent!

This is a absolute LOVE for me! Atelier does citrus like no other. Juicy, hyper realistic and natural smelling with very good longevity.
Orange Sanguine is my all time favorite orange scent, and for what that fragrance did for oranges…..Pomelo Paradis does for grapefruit.(which is to say, PERFECTION! imho;) I haven’t had the pleasure of smelling a pomelo yet, but this scent opens with the most lovely ruby red grapefruit smell. Tart and sweet at the same time, with a little greenness in there as well. The ever so slight florals creep in and balance things out nicely. Slowly transitioning to the base with a amber and vetiver backbone. Also during the entire duration of this fragrance, the beautiful citrus note is always there and never vanishes. The blending of the notes is impeccable here.
The longevity of this isn’t on par with Orange Sanguine.(3 sprays lasts me ALL day) But it still gives me a solid 5-6hrs, which in my book is very good for a citrus cologne. Absolutely awesome frag!

This is a great fragrance! Pomelo Paradis smells just like you cut open a ruby red grapefruit and laid it over a fruit salad outside by the garden. It’s juicy, natural, and completely fresh. The drydown takes an unexpected turn and rather than opting for a typical base of white musk and wood, Paradis incorporates a sweet amber accord that just gives it that soft, luscious sort of conclusion, which is definitely a welcome twist as far as I’m concerned. Projection is solid for the first hour or two, and close to the skin thereafter. Longevity seems about 6 hours. This is hands down the best grapefruit-centered fragrance I’ve experienced and possibly one of the best fruity fragrances as well. It also makes the room smell great after you apply it. Completely unisex, very uplifting, and totally upbeat, I’m recommending Pomelo Paradis as a blind buy to anybody who’s looking for this type of scent. Thumbs up.

  44. :

    5 out of 5

Very nice natural smelling fragrance. It’s quite tart like grapefruit, but also pleasant as tangerine.
Fresh, citrusy, very likable perfume. Some perfumes are just like extracts of nature in the bottle and this is one of them.
I guess Orange Sanguine is better, because it was mind-blowing for me, but this one is also very-very good.

  45. :

    3 out of 5

Pomelo Paradis is Orange Sanguine, version grapefruit. A photo-realistic interpretation that’s not too sour and reminds me of grapefruit juice. It’s also pretty linear and has that typical citrus-vetiver Atelier base. Soft to moderate sillage, longevity is only four hours. Would be ideal for the summer. It’s a decent enough scent, but I’m underwhelmed, truth be told.

  46. :

    4 out of 5

From the vial, this is beautiful, fresh, realistic citrus; once on my skin my immediate thought was “celery!”. It was such an odd experience. I’m thinking that perhaps I’m picking up more the scent of the peel of the pomelo rather than the fruit or juice. I can’t say I’ve ever had a stranger perception of a fragrance!

  47. :

    4 out of 5

Okay, okay, I get it: to each his own, we all have our skin chemistry and tastes, but this is the first scent in my 20-something-year history of active relationship with the world of perfumes when I can describe this scent as yucky. It only smelled good in the bottle (I got a sample from Sephora). First few minutes on my skin it was a Mister Clean Lemon detergent kind of smell going into the “laundry softener” stage soon thereafter.
I don’t want to say anything bad about this scent, it just, straight off, doesn’t work at all with my skin chemistry.
Curiously enough, someone has put Hermes Eau de Pampelmousse Rose in the “reminds me of” section here. Maybe the initial IDEA was similar but not the final implementations. These are completely different fragrances. And I do like the Hermes one although I find it somewhat straightforward and linear. But at least it works well on my skin.

  48. :

    5 out of 5

I couldn’t wait to get my hands on a sample of this one: I love Atelier Cologne for their natural, straightforward, lovely scents, and their citrus fragrances especially have been big hits with me. It seems they won’t stop until they’ve made a great incarnation of every citrus fruit out there, and it seems like I won’t stop until I’ve collected them all.
Pomelo Paradis is no exception to this rule: it’s a wonderful interpretation of grapefruit (or pomelo, I guess), and it’s already on my wish list. It’s very natural indeed, but it’s not not just a reproduction of the way grapefruit smells, like the Body Shop’s Pink Grapefruit, for instance (which I also love): it’s definitely a perfume, and the other notes, though not really possible to pick out separately, play their part in emphasizing that. The usual bitter(sweet) bracing quality of a real freshly cut grapefruit isn’t what this scent is about; it’s a sweeter version, powdery at first and a bit soapy later on. Like with most Ateliers I like the delightfully bright opening the best; which is a good thing because almost by definition these citrus colognes don’t last very long and frequent respraying is a must, so you can experience that lovely opening pretty often

  49. :

    Yes, pink grapefruit.
It smells good, as pink grapefruit does. I agree with everyone saying it smells realistic, it does. However I do find in some cases that too realistic isn’t always a good thing, for me anyway.
Some of the mystery of a fragrance is lost if it’s too identifiable. I much rather like the ones evoking some distant memory, a familiar smell but you can’t quite put your finger on it. It smells so lovely, but what is it….
Wearing this I smell like….pink grapefruit. For me it’s one of those “hey, you smell like a cookie!” “hey, you smell like a pancake!” fragrances. Don’t get me wrong, I really like it. I need a little mystery though.

I smelled this at Sephora once and fell in love with it. Finally! I thought, a summer scent that is not the same old same old coconutty sunscreen, citrus and other fruit punch. I was in Las Vegas last week, and since it was splurge time, I got the small bottle. $80 (before tax) for 1oz. is rather outrageous, but since it’s labeled Pure Perfume, I thought, oh well, at least it will last long.
    Yeah, right.
The scent is still divine. But I bloody well marinate in this stuff and it lasts 2 hours top. I am quickly running out of patience with these robber barons in the perfume industry, who charge you the earth for small bottles of watered down scents … oh, pardon me, I meant “light” scents, of course (rolleye).
In short, no cigar. I won’t repurchase this. I’ll stick to my heady scents, thank you very much. At least I get satisfaction from of them. And if people don’t like the way I smell they can do the other thing.

I bought the sample pack direct from Atalier DC as I got a 50% discount of its original price. They sent me a nice little package with a handwritten card, really nice btw. The package contained 2 ml of every scent made by them. As I try them along the way, I will post reviews of them.
So what do I get out of this fragrance?
A sweet pomelo/grapefruit combo. It is like traditional citrus bonbons or drops. But anyway a natural scent. It is complimented with notes of white flowers like orange blossom and neroli. A great fragrance and well blended.
It is in my honest opinion a summer fragrance. It is easy to wear, and doesn’t offend anyone. A huge downside though is the longevity. it is somewhat powerful for the first 30 mins but after that is sits really close to the skin. So silage is considered bad along with the longevity. But while it lasts, the fragrance is great.
    Overall rating: 5/10

i am a little disappointed in that this isn’t a *pomelo*, per se, but moreso a grapefruit. having said that, apart from the misnomer, it is a largely satisfying citrus scent. sharp grapefruit with a touch of peel ‘sourness’ and some floral sweetness in the background. personally, i’m more fond of their ‘orange sanguine’ and find the direction and overall feel of OS to be more my scene. that said, it is pretty nice and sweet, but NOT a pomelo scent.
anyone who has lived/visited south east asia would have eaten pomelo salad and this, unfortunately, is a bit misleading. otherwise, love this!

Atelier joins the ranks of Hermes (Eau de Pamplemousse Rose) and Guerlain (Aqua Allegoria Pamplelune) at getting the elusive grapefruit note right! There are so many nasty, synthetic efforts to create an olfactory impression of a grapefruit out there – so full credit to Atelier.
Another reviewer called the top notes of this “hyperrealistic,” and I concur. It’s like squeezing a grapefruit onto yourself, which I unexpectedly found to be a nice experience.
The drydown is a gentle ambery note. The same structure as the Varvatos scents, really: a citrus top end on amber. Iris? Okay, but I don’t get that.
I like it a lot! A nice scent with a real zing… This kind of scent isn’t normally my thing but I can see myself wearing this on warm days.
Longevity: As usual with citrus scents, a problem. I put it on at 11 AM and it’s 2:30 PM now and it’s pretty much gone. I can barely smell it on my cotton tee shirt top. Pity.

Wow! This makes me feel refreshed and happy. It doesn’t last a long time so one can use it to give yourself a moment of warm sunshine and juicy satisfaction. It’s a personal thing that you can use pretty frequently without impinging too much on another’s personal aural space. Excellent fragrance but not inexpensive.

I actually would love to own a 200ml of it and use it up during summer. The hyper realistic grapefruit burst is lighthearted and uplifting and surely great for high temperatures, when you think you can never have too many showers in one day. I realy enjoy Orange Sanguine positivity, but Pomelo is less sweet, it is a beautiful refreshingly bitter zesty zing. And it fleets so fast and so beautiful from the heated sweating skin. But with 200ml bottle even the people who prefer of only few perfumes at a time would make the most of it.

I don’t dislike Pomelo Paradis but Atelier seem to have copied off their own cheat sheet here.
This is the house’s Orange Sanguine replaced by grapefruit. Otherwise there’s the same hyperrealistic burst of citrus that dries down to an unremarkable, somewhat sweet amber.
Had the floral elements and and mint been more pronounced, chances are I’d be more enthused.
    Underwhelming all told.

Screaming citrus candy! A tart, bitter grapefruit opening, blended with amber and vetiver. Although I’m not a fan of amber, it seems to blend well enough with the citrus. Reminds me of Lime Basil & Mandarin by Jo Malone, only not as fruity, but more shrill, if that makes sense. Overall, definitely a summer fragrance. Not bad, but certainly not my favorite from Atelier Cologne.

Since I’m a huge lover of citrus scents, I couldn’t decide between this and orange sanguine… so I eventually got them both. To my nose pompelo paradis smells much sweeter than orange sanguine, which has a cooler dry down with a touch more of a cologne feel. Pompelo is candy sweet from start to finish but maintains a very realistic just peeled mandarin vibe. If you are a citrus lover and enjoy the sweeter/sour side, I would go for pompelo, but if you love the cooler side of citrus Id opt for the orange sanguine.

All I get is sour citrus. And not gentle citrus, but just lemon. It doesn’t change. Not good for me.
Sprayed it on for a bit in the morning when I had nowhere to go (hence n
