Description

At the beginning of 2018, the house of Dior launches Poison Girl Unexpected, the new flanker of Poison Girl fragrance that came out in January 2016 as the new Poison generation. The new edition  is announced as surprisingly fresh and sparkling interpretation.

Poison Girl Unexpected is an edition with a large dose of ginger. The composition is a fresh, floral and spicy one. Ginger’s bitter freshness and tinglingness is mixed with blood orange accord at the top, leading to the signature part of the composition – Damask Rose in the heart and vanilla in the base.

Together with the new fragrance, Dior will present a new fromat and a way of applying perfumes – a 20 ml of Roller Pearl. Dior Poison Girl Unexpected is available as a 30, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

The nose behind this fragrance is Francois Demachy.

I really like Poison Girl EDP and EDT. Unexpected – unfortunately – not at all. The fragrance base is similar to EDP, but (at least on my skin) the first violin is played by sharp ginger turned up with red orange. At first I sensed powdered sweets, so quickly transformed into a scent of shaving cream, covered with vanilla and marzipan. I recommend tests before buying.

You can call me crazy… but i love it…
Sweet warm… sensual.. but than am a lot older than most here… its a scent you put on when you want to snuggle up next to your man…. on the sofa with a glass of wine, when its snowing outside….

I just got a bottle of this. I love the dry-down. It’s vanilla and nuts and absolutely gorgeous. It starts very pungent with that ginger note. I bought it for how amazing the dry-down is, soft and sexy. On me the base notes last a lot, even though you can not smell it from a distance if you spray just behind your ears. I do 4-5 sprays, 2 behind my ears, 2 on the collar bones and sometimes one on the back of my neck, when I have my hair up, I got quite a few compliments this way with this fragrance. I absolutely love it

This perfume is delicious! Smells sweet and spicy to me. I sense vanilla and tonka bean, I also get the almond note, which is not listed here.
I like how creamy it smells.
A good scent for autumn and winter.
    Really nice.

Sometimes, my life need some sweets like fuel for driving. Sadly, eating and drinking the sweets could only respond my need through my tongue. So, I find some sweet perfumes to fulfill my need of sweet through my nose as fuel for life.
Poison Girl Unexpected, the sweet fragrance with some spicy notes is like Twilly by Hermes during top notes period, but it gradually changes to next period with sweet scent as Poison Girl’s DNA, orange-vanilla notes that I actually love. I think the ginger note is the star of the version and makes me active and sparking after spraying it on my body.
The fragrance is quite good longevity, but low aura. However the color appearing on its packaging is more beautiful than the two previous versions of Poison Girl.

I do not like particularly the original Poison Girl, but that one is nice even though there is no ground breaking here (deja vu)…That said, you can tell that it is made of quality ingredients (no artificial /synthetic notes). I get vanilla, ginger and blood orange the most. It is a soft fragrance and that is my main complaint: it is AGAIN a skin scent; unless you have your nose on it, you won’t smell anything… Please DIOR,bring us some more powerful scents!

I really appreciate many reviews on this page for this Unexpected Girl, especially Kon-nos91’s, very thorough and well observed. Because of your reviews, I blind bought it and I’m glad that I now have it in my collection. I also blind bought and love Poison Girl EDP too.
You guys have stated all the pros and cons about this cutie for me, and majority of the reviews have very good points. I enjoy reading them as much as the fragrance itself.
On my skin, I experienced something a little difference than the EDP but still has the same Poison Girl DNA (I don’t have the EDT to compare, but I have read that it is a pretty sweet fragrance). Unexpected Girl is gently fresh, lightly creamy, and sweetly spicy. Sillage is soft, and the scent stayed lingered for hours. The “unexpected” effect in this one lies in the freshness of soft and citrusy blood orange and the sweet ginger. On me, Unexpected Girl does not perform with a strong spicy note of ginger and tonka bean, but they are definitely there in the back. I got the most scents of blood orange/lemon and vanilla actually. The nuttiness is also modest compared to the EDP. I guess those spicy notes may stand out more, or less, depending on each individual chemistry, and perhaps the weather also. But overall, I enjoy this flanker very much. It is more suitable for breezy hot summer days like today where I live.
If you haven’t tried any of the Poison Girl, and depending on your taste in sweet fragrance, I would recommend to start with this version, as it is more “wearable” and less sweet than the rest of them from the Poison Girl line.

I would like to start off by saying that I live in a valley of a mountain in the middle of West Virginia and Ma perfume addict. That poses a problem because there is no shopping within 2 hours so no opportunity to try anything. When I purchase perfumes they are always a blind Buy in most cases and I get my information from this website.
My all-time favorite is still vintage poison. So any time do your comes out with some new flanker I’ve even poison girl I am fast to try it. When I saw this on their website I could not wait to get my hands on it. It came beautifully packaged as usual when you purchase directly from Dior and I was surprised that the 1.7 Oz that was available was so inexpensive. That is considering they have a different version of poison on the site right now that cost 200 and you only get .05 Oz. I cannot afford that but I can’t afford this one.
I have the original Poison Girl and while it’s okay it’s not one of my all-time favorites. This one is different. I haven’t sprayed it in a few days but the main thing that stands out to me is the sweetness. I guess I needed something sweet in my life because I’m in love with it. I don’t know how to describe notes as eloquently as the rest of you so I’m not going to even try. It is just beautiful. Of course this sweet perfume is targeting the younger generation millennials clearly. Although I am 48 I’m going to wear it. Not only am I going to wear this but I’m getting ready to order a second bottle while it’s still available. I looked on eBay to see if I could find one cheaper and they are selling on eBay for double. That always amazes me. Is anyone actually buying the perfume from these price gouging people? They must be. Perhaps I should buy 10 of them and list them on eBay LOL

I am scandalously late to the entire Poison line (sniffed one about 10 years ago, decided I didn’t like it and never revisited). A week ago I tried the Hypnotic Poison which I liked, but not enough to drop 80€ on it. SO when I say the edt pearl roller on sale a few days back, I impulse-bought it.
And I like it! At first it is an explosive mix of ginger and blood orange, not at all what I expect “poison” to smell like. It settles down into a nice, warm vanilla/tonka blend that doesn’t smell cheap. The bottle and advertising makes it seems like this is another suckersweet teenage fruitfest, but it has a bit more class than that.
I have been wearing it for about 5 hours now and I can still smell the base notes on me, but sillage is véry soft, almost next to none.
It smells warm and pleasant, it is definitely a scent you wear for yourself, not to overpower your entire office or to turn heads on the street. You won’t leave people wondering what you are wearing. It is like a nice haircut, a nude lipstick and some mascara: you look (and smell) immmaculate and refined, but you aren’t trying too hard.

Was hoping for a spicy ginger and hence added this to my test list a while ago. Was strolling at the airport and spotted&tested it. Totally forgot why I added it to my test list back then(note-wise). on skin it was nice but sadly these days nice doesn’t cut it. An.hour into wearing it, felt compelled to look up the notes, and saw ginger was supposed to be the star? Whoa, I didn’t get any ginger, even if I forced the idea of it being there..I give this is a thumbs up due to almonds but …well I.got a few almond scents already. Unexpectedly boring but good for comfort scent still?

Unexpectingly nice ! The first Poison Girl makes me nauseous (nutty caramel orange note) but this one is really pleasant. Probably because I love ginger.

  12. :

    5 out of 5

Well they were correct ,this wasn’t what I was expecting at all !!i was worried it would be another flanker in this world which would smell too familiar to its original ,however this is a pure ginger overdose,a ginger bomb ,but the ginger is different to how I have smelt it in the past in other scents ,this isn’t fresh ginger at all ,but warning ,rich ,Almost creamy !
The other poison girls have been tangy ,sweet orange ,and I’m glad this has taken another direction ,don’t get me wrong the blood orange is noticeable ,but sits back in its seat and lets the spice lead the way ,and for sure the ginger really is the leader of this fragrance !
    Another lovely creation by Dior

  13. :

    4 out of 5

This is really nice, and I’m so pleased, because I wanted to like a version of Poison, and poison girl unexpected is the one! I’ve never found any of the others wearable for me, it’s not that I hated any of them, I just couldn’t tolerate them on me!
Perhaps that’s why it’s called ‘unexpected’? Because if you don’t usually like the others, you’ll like this one. The fragrance opens with a fresh burst of ginger, blood orange and lemon, it’s almost Christmasy. Then it warms down with some rose and it radiates quite well, the ‘candy’ element comes out more in the mid notes. This feels like a cool weather fragrance, I’m yet to test it in sunny weather, but I’ve a feeling it might be a chameleon and be good in both.
The dry down is vanilla and tonka heavy, the hazelnut element is not very apparent. I do really like this though. I like gourmands, it reminds me a bit of La Nuit Tresor a la Folie, especially in the dry down.
This has excellent sillage, it’s a build-able fragrance, if you want more, spray more. You choose. I really like it in my hair, it smells divine!
Lasts around 12 hours for me.

  14. :

First time I’m smelling something from Poison. It is weird and interesting. Gourmand, but not really. Spicy, but not really. Something old, but not really. Cool and warm, sweet and fresh in same time. There are some fruits and citruses. It’s fresh, spicy, warm. Between that all is something chemically fresh, like from hairspray. In winter weird ginger tea mixed with juice and pinch of vanilla. It is more for young girl, but woman could also use it. Perfume it self is nothing much, but it’s main difference is based on ginger.

  15. :

A very spicy Poison girl. The ginger is really strongly noticeable durind the first two stages of the fragrance development. Actially, I find this one quite different from the other two sisters and that’s the unexpected bit I guess, here. Not bad at all.

  16. :

    4 out of 5

generic sweet gourmand scent. Not bad but nothing special.

  17. :

    4 out of 5

This smells really great! Very sweet, but also a little spicy which comes from the ginger note I guess. I haven’t smelled something like this before, so to me it’s a good flanker. Longevity and sillage seem to be moderate on my skin. I like it a lot and will see if I can resist to buy a full bottle of it. I think I may finish my samples pretty fast.

  18. :

    4 out of 5

The only Poison girl version that I like and which doesn’t induce headaches. It is a bit more complicated, spicy and somewhat fresher and lighter than Eau de perfume and Eau de toilette.
Ginger is the clue ingredient here and it brings the bright aura to the fragrance as well as reveals the Christmas atmosphere with the tempting smell of ginger biscuits.

Is this in the UK yet 🙁
I love each and every poison… I want them all!

  20. :

    3 out of 5

I’ll start by: 1) I love Dior (ok tell us something new)
    2) I will never ever forget the one responsible for Miss Dior EDP reformulation.
    3) Francois Demachy, Dior’s perfumer is such an intelligent guy and Poison Girl EDP, one of my top 5, has the best vanillic ending ever smelled.
I’ll try to be as precise as I can with my review in a way I would like to read from you guys all over the world, before I experience the perfume on my own. I just can’t mention that the EDP very first edition is a chemistry-dependent one. Yeah, I don’t believe in this theory but here it applies well. It’s such a complex perfume with bitter orange-almond-damasc rose and narcotic base do the work.
Also, it’s crazy if I don’t tell you that EDT isn’t my thing. Not bad, but it’s hot & cold effect with frozen orange being the star didn’t win me personally. I have both editions and EDP will always be a favorite for many reasons. The only thing I can’t stand is when I smell it to others and this is how I understood why some of you complain for it’s ‘sweetness’. Many millenials love it because of this but on my skin it’s as FD said a delicious trap that makes me feel confident, seductive and poisonous. In a few words it expresses me well and I am very pleased with it’s lasting power and sillage. Very! To end this paragraph for the EDT version since here it’s Unexpected page, isn’t it too strange that 80% have the idea of Poison Girl by having the oportunity to smell the EDT edition only? EDP isn’t available for so many countries out there!
So, a new flanker guys, named Unexpected and concentrated as an EDT. Well, as I said I have both previous editions and by reading that this one isn’t something new, I wasn’t that curious to test. I didn’t wait like crazy as I did for other perfumes and houses till I smelled it today. It’s a complete new perfume! Dior’s blood orange is a favorite for me. Who wouldn’t be curious for ginger note? Although I was 99% sure I won’t buy it, I got many compliments from my mother. Unexpected’s nuances are very good. Let’s see cons and prons in a more descriptive way:
PRONS: Nice color of the bottle and composition for an EDT. Blood orange although very light and not even close to the citrusy power of the previous two gives a powdery touch to the fresh ginger. Ginger gives it a kick of freshness and comfortable spiciness but you have to wait a lot till you have it’s original smell. It’s heart is just AMAZING. Sweet is a word that doesn’t give justice. Nothing like gummy bears that I read from someone here, but yeah, it could be, it’s something you wanna have more and more each time you smell. The rest reminds a lot of the original Poison Girl without being rich and different enough to like as almond was replaced by hazelnut. Sillage is good, lasting power…we’ll see. That soft precious woody touch together with the spiced vibes are veeery good.
CONS: If you’re one who judges a perfume from it’s very first spray like me, you will definitely pass it. And you’ll do it correctly since it’s so harsh in a way you can’t smell something specific to like and as the time pass by it becomes even worse. I experienced something as strong and disconforting as a repellent’s odor right after wearing it for 1-2 hours and then..the magic started…Then it becomes a beauty. Elegant, with a character and promising. Conclusion, you have to test it on your skin to be 100% sure. I am very close from buying it.
” That’s all from me. I know not many people will ready till here but guys, it’s impossible that you haven’t noticed that perfumes of 2018 follow a specific trend, they become more and more generic and weaker. I add it to the same category as the newest La nuit tresor-A la folie EDP from Lancome that I was truly mad waiting to try. We must keep closer to classics before it’s too late…”

Starts same as both edp and edt editions
Then it starts to take transformation road to spice trip and ginger started to take place …
With time u can feeel soooooo sweet an sour feelings ..
So no it is not the same
As the other 2 are safe sexy sweet fragrances
This one a bit daring becoz not every one into spice ..
For me its good addition to my collection ..
I have nothing spicy i like expt this ..
I am into sweet and this gives me sweetness pleasure with spice feelings

As I really love the Poison girl EDT I was eager to try this new flanker. It’s a nice scent, but I must admit I like the PG EDT much better. This new one is actually too sweet for me. The ginger makes it nice and fresh, but the orange in PG EDT makes it so much more beautiful in my opinion. Except for the ginger PG unexpected is very close to the original PG, and if I wanted a ginger scent I would probably go all in and choose Twilly d’Hermès instead.
All in all – I like it, but I probably won’t buy it.

    Uniqueness – 5/10
    Longevity – 6/10
    Sillage – 5/10
    Value for money – 6/10
I tested it today and liked it. Unexpectedly. Because I dislike the original EDP (too sweet) as well as EDT (because of citrus, to my nose it doesn’t sit well with the original sweet base).
Opens up with sweet ginger and blood orange, so uplifting and cute. Then I got soft vanilla and tonka beans. This flanker is rounded, feminine, and cheerful. Not overly sweet like the EDP and doesn’t contain that totally alienated citrus like the EDT. After 8 hours I still feel a hint of it on my wrist just from one spray, so I would give it a at least 6/10 for longevity, even though it doesn’t have heavy sillage.
Overall, likable fragrance, the roller bottle is adorable and would make a great gift, especially for someone who is into sweet fragrances.

Unexpected love! It varies a lot from the other, previous Poison Girls. At first it smells like sweets called gummy bears. So youthful! Later I could smell more ginger and vanilla, but still very soft and truly lovely.
I did not expect much and I was so positively surprised! So clean, so charming, so delightful scent! Perfect for spring, fall and cool summer.
Poison Girl but so alluring that you simply can’t resist her.

  25. :

    4 out of 5

unexpected disappointment. it’s very simple, smells like a drugstore perfume for 5y.o. with an initial burst of blood orange that lasts for about 15-20min and than it’s just something sugary sweet, i’m not sure i feel any vanilla at all, and probably the most embarrasing interpretation of the Damask rose i ever tried.
The sillage and longetivity are terribly poor for a “poison”.

A Valentine’s gift from him. Rollerball Pearl edition. He didn’t ask me what I wanted – as always – so I didn’t expected to get a fragrance, specially this fragrance.
I’m not a gourmand girl but I like my sweets (Angel, Classique, Shalimar Ode…).
I found the Poison Girl EDP uninspiring (not bad, but nothing that rocks my World) and didn’t bother to try the EDT.
This was truly an unexpected gift (couldn’t help myself).
So, the fragrance. The liquid is gel like. The bottle is nice and good for carrying in the bag.
The scent it actually is quite conforting. It opens with a vibrant citric note and then it turns like a rosewater vanilla cake with some spice added (maybe the ginger?).
And it smells familiar (there’s something about it that reminds me of L’Occitane Miel & Citrón in the drydown).
It stays close to the skin but you’re envelloped in a warm sweet rosy cloud. It feels conforting like a hug.
    All in all, thumbs up!

There is one offputting note in the middle of all that sweet cloud of vanilla, sort of strange and sour. I think it’s the blood orange. Not for moi sorry. I could deal with the sweet but that sour part is nauseating, so artificial. But I have got to admit that longevity is amazing. Sprayed 2x about 9 hours ago and it’s still detectable on the skin – and I washed hands multiple times since.

-The first Poison Girl edp is balmy, warm and rounded, comfy yummy scent. All about vanilla and almond.
-The second Poison Girl edt is sharply sweeter a bit colder, candy like and sugary. All about that frosted orange and caramel.
-The third Poison Girl Unexpected is jammy and juicy, even colder than the edt.I get more fruity floral tones here and I would say its all about blood orange and rose.
The edp is the closest to Hypnotic Poison edt, but softer and not dark and smoky.

  31. :

    4 out of 5

WOW, I was really not expecting to like this!
I don’t like the normal poison girl. I find it way too sweet and cloying. Today in the perfume store I saw that they had the rollerball version of this poison girl unexpected scent and gave it a try. Just out of curiosity about the rollerball. And I was unexpectedly surprised! It smelled like something from my childhood… First I could not pin point it and then it hit me. It smells like Lebkuchen! Thats the german version of gingerbread. I absolutely love ginger and gingerbread so was really surprised and amazed to like it! I know someone in the comments below also mentioned gingerbread, so Im not the only one who smells this.

    A me piace moltissimo, top!

Basically it is Poison Girl with a hint of fresh, zesty, juicy, sour, citrusy (almos like mint at the beginning) freshness – which makes it so much better. It should have been THE Poison Girl, the other two seems so… well, unremarkable small potatoes compared to this one. I love it! Not so groundbreaking (or unexpected), but blended perfectly, and this perfume really has that “plus” which makes me fall in love with it. Sillage is moderate, but longetivity is great.

  34. :

    4 out of 5

Well, this is not really unexpected. It smells like many other perfumes out there. It is not bad, it is very nice, but nothing groundbreaking.
I get a sweet fragrance, with a bitter touch, a bit of powder and something that keeps it fresh. The vanilla is delicious and boozy. Everything is well balanced. It reminded me a bit of the dry down of Tom Ford’s Tobacco Vanille.
This is a nice flanker. It is softer and more mature than the original.
It is worth trying, but don’t expect anything unique.

well I received the rollerball version, coz I already have the other two pgs.The juice inside seems gel like… Keep bringing out poison flankers Dior and Ill keep buying em. Im even thinking about splashing out on Hypnotic Poison Perfume, because Ive been kicking myself for not getting Midnight Poison before it was discontinued…Original Poison before reformulation maybe Ill meet you one day

    4 out of 5

This is available around here since last weekend and I tried it a few times on my arm/hand, so here is a second early review:
Let me first say that this is very similar to the other two Poison Girls and not ‘unexpected’. They really don’t choose great names for this line.
The ginger is noticeable in the beginning, or to be more precise: This has a fresh spicy, tart note in the opening. But compared to other scents with a ginger note (Twilly, Deep Red, some JPG flankers…) it’s not a very pronounced, ‘gingery’ ginger.
I understand the sour candy comparison from perfumer François Demachy that was posted in the comments (and is also on Dior’s official site). It’s sparkly and fizzy in the top, but also very sweet. I think it would have been better and more interesting if they executed this concept more boldly. This way it’s a bit like Trolly glow worms when you keep them in your mouth too long – sweet and sour and fun at first, but just like regular sweets after the first blast of fizzy sourness wears off.
When the perfume dries down, the Poison Girl DNA is very evident. A dash of rose, lots of creamy vanilla, tonka and almond (or almondy tonka, as almond is not in the official notes here). It’s a little less sweet than the original, but also a little less rounded in they final drydown and a little lighter.
Still I think if you already have Poison Girl EDP, EDT or any good dupe of them, you don’t really need PG Unexpected. Except if it’s your signature and you can’t get enough of it.
If you hate Poison Girl, don’t bother, this is not for you.
If you like this kind of scent, but don’t have anything like it in your collection yet, it could be a good choice.
PS: It’s ridiculous this has more dislikes than likes and loves combined at this time, before it’s even out in most countries. Come on. I wonder why some people feel too mature for a Poison Girl flanker, but immature enough to waste their time trolling around sites about perfumes they never smelled.

    OMG……..WOOOOW…..I just love it!
First let me say that I´m not a Poison Girl fan but this is JUST AMAZING!!!
    aaaaaaaa……I don´t know what to say,I´m amazed,enchated,fascinated,rapt,under spell……
When I got this masterpiece I was sooo curious and so so happy. The bottle and box has a holo style which is just amazing.
So the scent:At first it´s a big burst of fresh ginger like a realistic fresh ginger almost minty-absolutely gorgeous start.Than after this I smell something which is like lemongrass again very fresh lemony smell,OOOOOMMMGGGGG I´m totally in love—-SORRY everybody!
After this amazing fresh start it´s start to calm down and the vanilla & tonkabean start to play with the ginger which now start to be a little spicy(in a fresh spicy, fresh peppery way.)It´s like a GINGERBREAD,yeaaah everybody a gingerbread–suprise!!After a while I start to capture the blood orange which again gives a scent a new twist.
Now after the dry down I can smell the Poison Girl DNA but so so much fresher and brighter. It´s like a fluffy vanilla cake with ginger topping on it(plus the smoky tonkabean). The ginger now is very peppery & lemony. The vanilla is not overdose,is in a right balance between sweet and fresh(and it´s very realistic vanilla smell).I think there is the rose but it´s rather like a waxy rose(like a candle) but only at the beginning (in a goooood way).
I totally recommend this amazing masterpiece,it´s absolutely utterly gorgeous.I recommend to let it sit and give some time to unfold.
The sillage is just a dream, very strong and it lingers in the room where you spray it.The longevity is very good I´m very satisfied, last more than 7-8h.
I think the scent still want the cold weather but for early spring/fall and in winter it will shine.

I read that there is salt note in the top notes which want to give a “ginger-tonic” sparkling feeling. The heart note is the same and in the base is tonka bean, vanilla and musk.
    François Demachy said:
“With Poison Girl Unexpected, I wanted to bring the strong, contradictory sensation of a sour candy into a fragrance. I played with the contrast of a fruity note that would swell into a spicy, sexy accord. A ginger note slightly seasoned with a dash of salt was the obvious answer. It conveys all the “expressive” charm of those tart candies that explode in your mouth and then give way to sweetness.”

  39. :

    3 out of 5

I’m actually quite interested in this version as it doesn’t feature almond-Cashmeran base notes which turned me off from the first Poison Girl. My personal impression was of a plasticky nut drydown.
I hope they will put a touch of cloves (eugenol) in PG Unexpected, so I could imagine a candied-orange gingerbread scent…! Which I think would be amazing. 😀
If it’s not in there when it’s officially released…I might do something profane…put this into a decant atomizer and add in a few drops of clove essential oil.

I always try to go for a flanker of a flanker to ensure my perfume is unique. If I ever have trouble deciding, I go for the one that is less original. It’s like burrowing deeper in the ground to avoid being found, with “found” being a metaphor for someone else wearing my perfume

Im not sure why flankers get so much hate, companies are there to make money, thats a fact, nothing new or shocking, they have competition and therefore have to create new additions before competitors do to stay relevant. There are millions of fragrances to choose from today – so if you don’t want to support a flanker or mass marketed brand don’t, put your money elsewhere.
I actually really enjoy poison girl – she is fun, sexy, youthful and I’m interested to smell this one – although rose isn’t my favourite scent in perfumes, the ginger note interests me.

I got the chance to test this at Dubai Airport (DXB), and to me it seemed to be a very much simplified version of Poison Girl EDT, which I love. To me the ginger note was the strongest, although not at all as strong as I had expected. A very light scent.

The handwriting on the bottle is getting worse, lol!

I thought I saw a different colored bottle, and lo and behold there actually is a new one! And I’ll bet anyone my last season’s flanker that more notes will eventually be added to that pyramid

Perfume launches in February 2018 and we ALREADY evaluate longevity and notes. Interestingly, Fragrantica in different languages evaluates them all differently… I wonder why… Maybe because nobody had smelled the fragrance yet?! Give us all a break people and at least smell it before trashing it okay.
Seems to me this flanker will resemble Twilly, but with a rose kick – I am very interested

So…. is anyone able to do a comparison to the poison girl fragrance please for reference? Or to hypnotic poison? Or compare similarities to other releases in the last couple years by the high end brands… that would be useful. Cheers

I would recommend to wait release so you can at least try it and then dislike if you so wish.

It is not a review as I haven’t tasted it yet. But I will! As what happened with me when I first tried Poison girl EDT was that I actually felt in huge love with it. This deserves at least a try, doesn’t it?

Oh man… Here we go! All the fragrantica creepers that down vote something that has yet to be released. Ughhhh. Guess what? I love poison, all the flankers. I love poison girl and I bet I’ll love this one. I guess us mainstreamers are annoying. Give it a chance people!! It could be the best scent you’ve ever smelled in your life, but you dismiss it just because of it being yet another Dior flanker release.

Sounds intriguing, indeed. It appears that ginger will be the next year’s most used note. I like it, it’s really refreshing. It gives that kick that some sweet scents need. Can’t wait to try it.

There are 3 certain things in the world: death, taxes and incoming Poison Girl flankers.
But I have to admit that notes sound intriguing.

Poison Girl Unexpected? What? It sounds like it’s the sequel to a bad movie; “Poison Girl: Unexpected”. What’s next?
Poison Girl II The Return? Poison Girl Surprise I’m Here?
Or maybe Poison Girl You’re Poisoned Now. It could be like a series of flankers in the form of a plot based on the titles.
But seriously they should’ve went with an Eau De Cologne as a tribute to the original Poison, since this is supposed to be a “fresh” and “sparkling” fragrance.
Also why is the child in the ad shirtless?

The flanker of a flanker of the flanker of Poison.
    It’s real
Right now, it’s hard to find a tester of this in order to properly access the fragrance, they’re all empty, so big is the interest of the youth-and not only, I can assure you- in the Poison Girl line, judging by this fact and only, we can already tell it’s going to be another best seller.
I was lucky enough to sample from the Pearl Roller. Now, I assume that despite the gel-like consistency, I get the same thang that is inside the EDT bottle. Well I hope I’ll test that soon enough too. For now, I’m not impressed at all. Poison Girl EDP is a nice balsamic vanilla and Poison Girl EDT is a lovely perfumey vanilla rose. Unexpected is too damn expected. Lasts terribly short, at least the Pearl Roller, and has a weird character of revealing its notes at times; they all seem to appear and dissapear. Is that really worth of my money?
Scentwise, when applied it smells intensely of a fresh fruity ginger note paired with a lot of sweetness. It is strong, nose filling, candy-cake scent, absolutely targeted to the youn
