This fragrance has a beautiful sharp spicyness about it. A rich patchouli and smooth vanilla. Smells confident and glamorous. I usually steer clear of fragrances with Amber, but I love this fragrance and it smells beautiful on me. I’ll definitely be buying a full size bottle in the future.

I also received this as a Birchbox sample. This is so Black Orchid. One hour into it and two people have already asked if I’m wearing TF Black Orchid. The notes, the projection, it’s all there.

I received a sample of Harvey Prince’s Petaly Noir in my Birchbox last month and finally tried it last week. I fell in love on the spot and purchased the full size bottle! I was first introduced to Harvey Prince with HELLO which is still one of my absolute favorite scents. Well, this is a total departure from Hello, but I adore it. It is just so sophisticated. Not too musky and not too sweet! It is just perfect. The bottle is absolutely beautiful as well!! Definitely worth the money. This is one of the best sweet smelling perfumes I have ever tried. But that oversimplifies what is such a gorgeous, complex scent. It is such a sensual scent…from the night blooming jasmin and tropical orchid to the sensual sandalwood, warm amber, patchouli, and hints of vanilla and musk. This is a woman’s perfume…the type of scent that makes your man want to lean in closer and try to figure out what that mysterious scent is. The perfect accessory to the little black dress and an evening out. I love it!! Thank you, Harvey Prince!!!
