Description

Sarah Horowitz Parfums’s Perfect Perfumes line features thirteen signature fragrances that were created to meet the demand for both nature identical florals and new interpretations of classic favorites

Perfect Bliss is a sultry melding of tropical fruits, white gardenia and vanilla inspired by Sarah Horowitz’s honeymoon on the island of Tahiti. This balmy poem of a fragrance sets fire to the wearer’s chemistry like an island sunset, and speaks of that magical time of day when the sun’s light explodes before giving way to the shadowy light of the moon.

The main notes are: blood orange, mango, papaya, gardenia, rose, tuberose, lily, vanilla, patchouli, cedar and musk. Perfect Bliss was launched in 2002.

I have written hundreds of reviews and never have I used the descriptor of “air freshener”–but this fragrance could have been put out by Glade. Strong and sharp.

I get papaya and a boatload of flowers and it’s wonderful, I don’t get the patchouli and I’m glad as it can overpower a perfume, vanilla is very subtle on the tail end accompanied with florals, very nice.

On first application, there is a radiating brightness from the yellow sweet and acidic tropical fruits, but Perfect Bliss does calm down on the skin fairly quickly, and within about ten-twenty minutes the vanilla, cedar and patchouli come floating to the surface of this natural and harmonious tropical fruit-scented pool, with flowers growing all around its edges.
As the scent develops on my skin, the arrival of the cedar, patchouli and vanilla against the sugary acidity of the fruit, is what wins my respect for Perfect Bliss. I don’t really know how else to say this, but this fragrance NEEDS those notes. They clean it up and keep it from becoming a fruit-scented avalanche. That, and the amazing way in which the pineapple-like potency of the opening notes mellow out in record speed make Perfect Bliss memorable, though the lingering ripeness of the papaya periodically floats up and takes me off guard. Some people might love that though. It’s not inherently bad, just heavily fruity.
It is so easy for anyone who enjoys fruit fragrances to appreciate Perfect Bliss because the notes themselves are so natural and bright, and yet there are simultaneously many subtle things going on if you examine more closely, just as in nature itself, like a cross-section of a leaf under a microscope, or the fractal of a shoreline. Thank you so much for the sample, SHP.
Perfect Bliss is the first sip of a tropical drink at the hotel’s beach bar on your first day of vacation. It’s not what you would normally order, but since you’re here, you might as well go for it. You sigh deeply as you look around and think to yourself: I finally made it. I’m here.

Upon first application I immediately got a giant sweet fruity smell. It was a little overpowering like your kitchen fruit basket full of over-ripe fruits on a very hot day. Luckily though this little gem mellows out quickly to a lovely fruity floral. I am pleasantly surprised because I didn’t think it would calm down so nicely and quickly. This scent reminds me a lot of tropical vacations spent on the Caribbean. This is a great spring/summer fragrance that I highly recommend.

Sunny, fresh fruits, absolutely amazing blood orange at the opening followed by natural mango and papaya, the scent is sweet, but somehow the blood orange weights everything out and it get’s a sparkly touch. At the opening this reminds me a bit of children shampoo I have encountered before, maybe in my childhood, and I remember loving the single bit out of it, so this brings back nostalgic memoirs.
Anyway – this is simply marvelous. It is a perfect bliss, it’s fruity, it’s complex and it feels natural.
A must try for fruits lover!

This keeper of a scent is absolutely perfect for Day..a special occasion, vacation..you name it! I primarily picked it out because Sarah Horowitz made this scent to mirror the scents of her bridal bouquet..which I’m a real sucker for! When you spray the scent you are initially taken by the lush Blood Orange scent(which I, for one, happen to LOVE!) but after that it dries down into that perfect Spring/Summer wedding bouquet of lilys, gardenias, musk and a bit of cedar. All in all..a complete and total winner of a fragrance and I would recommend it to anyone!

That’s strong you make your presence felt from miles away. The notes of papaya and mango are dominant but after I’ve smelled it immediately I was transfered to californian beaches with suntaned bodies and fine white sand.

This is a really beautiful and complex fragrance. It’s not your typical tropical floral–nothing like most Tahitian inspired fragrances. The florals and fruits blend perfectly together, and are beautifully balanced with the warm vanilla and spices. Very elegant and has good staying power!
