This is my favourite Axe/Lynx. It’s that powdery violet. And the drydown is very woody/cedary. I have the deodorant/body spray and the EDT. I will be re-buying this, as I can get both in the U.K. now. It is mellow, soft, fuzzy and I don’t really get the Fahrenheit comparisons as that is potent juice. It’s my lounging around at home and gym scent.

A co-worker of mine brings a can of this with him to work so I sprayed it in the air. Was not expecting it at all but this smells like an extremely dank, potent, and musky version of Fahrenheit. Basically, Fahrenheit without any of the citrus or spicy notes and way toned down petrol.. Just a violet MUSK. I didn’t try it on my skin, it’s Axe so it probably lasts an hour tops. It smells decent but because of that added extreme muskyness IMO it’s unwearable. My other co-workers did not like it at all either.
Well, like I said it’s Axe, so kudos to them for the idea to copy Fahrenheit. I’ll just wear Fahrenheit itself, which is truly excellent even today in 2018.

    Peace (Axe) Body Spray
Powerful stuff when you spray it on your armpits across your abdomen and chest after a work out so that you’re sure to get some looks from people at the gym as you walk out. Must be the chemical note in this thing called hedione. This is the top note for me not the citruses. In fact I didn’t get any citric notes of lemon or orange. This is mainly a musk based fragrance and loads of green patchouli leaves.
When it settles down and the volume of the hedione is turned down, there is something powdery, oddly powdery for a man’s scent, which I think is perhaps the violet note in the formula. It has very little sweetness but it does turn powdery and is quite clean. This is a clean scent for after a shower and or after a work out when you have been perspiring profusely. The clean musk is mingling with green notes that smell like patchouli and grass. This is a green themed fragrance which makes me wonder is this why they called it PEACE as in green peace or the serenity of green open spaces in nature. I do detect a bit of nutmeg and perhaps another spice. But definitely green.
This is a casual day to day body spray and can be worn by young men and older men alike. Is it cheap? Yeah. But that doesn’t make it any less useful and it has it’s place. This is a good utilitarian fragrance. Not a cologne. Not a soap. Not an aftershave. It’s a good full fledged body spray for males.
    Have fun shopping

I picked up the aftershave version of this for 1.99 euros at a discount store recently. It’s not half bad! The patchouli is the main note and is fresh and clean. I’ve used this stuff as a cologne, in the bath and also as a basis for poo-pourri (you put it down the loo before using…) and it works very well! I might also use it to scent drawer liners and mouse-repellers in my sewing room. So, even the cheapest and most commercial fragrance has its uses. 🙂

I received this as a gift from a family member a couple years ago – through another family member – and they just found it in their closet and gave it to me a couple WEEKS ago, lol.
There is definitely a Fahrenheit vibe going on here. You will get all of the violets but none of the gasoline, as far as I am able to detect. In fact it directly reminds me of some of the better knockoffs of Fahrenheit at the time when the Dior fragrance ruled the land, and seemingly everyone wore it.
For what this product is: Peace is nicely done and a refreshing change of pace from current trends.

    @Sproaty
I actually searched for “Axe Peace” to see if anyone else was noticing the Farenheit similarity. You’re right.

I bought this today after spraying it on my arm and doing a double take – “Fahrenheit?!” Must be that violet leaf note – I can’t help but think of Fahrenheit whenever I smell it now.
I’m pleased to have discovered this – as an antiperspirant this will work great in the mornings before heading to work.

    Smells incredibly well.
Better than many perfumes that only have great price.

Axe Peace is a great scent It does have a little bit of a fahrenheit smell to it. I used to wear fahrenheit This is a much lighter version. I think it smells even better than the classic Fahrenheit I still like them both

I get that Fahrenheit is a massively popular fragrance, but I don’t think being insincere about the similarities between it and Peace are helping those who are looking for a great Fahrenheit alternative.
Peace is essentially “Eau de Fahrenheit”, and in my opinion it smells much better than the love-it-or-hate-it classic.
The bodywash is even better in my opinion, with much more prominent citrus and dry rubber notes and less emphasis on the exhaust and oil notes.
If Axe tweaked the formula to make it more like the bodywash it would be a front-runner for the best cheap fragrance on the market.
Food for thought: if Dior had released it as an EdC the fragrance world would praise Peace as an amazing flanker, better than Fahrenheit Summers, 32, and Aqua combined.

why would eany one call Fahrenheit smelling fragrance PEAC?!

Not the best one to come out of the Lynx/Axe range (“Instinct” is far better, and has a great leather note). Peace is a bit of a violet bomb (nice if you like Parma Violets) and has a soft powdery sweetness, with a bit of musk and ambroxan in there to keep it masculine. Pleasant, but not remarkable and the longevity is not great (3-4 hours), sillage equally mediocre.
EDIT: actually, maybe I was a bit harsh there…Peace is rather less sweet and more subtle than “Instinct” (or any other Axe member) and in the dry down I do get the “ozonic” note which is rather appealing and different….where Instinct is hot and spicy, Peace is cool and understated….and neither of them smell like Dior Fahrenheit!

    Fahrenheit light without the leather.
