To me it smells mostly like pear in the beginning. But its gets better later. I like to wear it. (female)

For me its a little bit more female fragrance than male, but the longevity is incredible. I made one spray on clothes and it lasted 1.5 week and even after the clothes were washed. I tried 3 Rituals fragrances at same time on different parts of clothes and other 2 vanished after 2-3 days.
Edit: It is really high quality smell with beast performance, but I gave it to my girlfriend it suits her better. I tried to use it from time to time, but it is too much feminine. When I smell it, it is pure female fragrance. I would recommend this one for our ladies, it is perfect for formal events when you are wearing dress.

I have to say i am hypnotised by this smell. From the moment i tried it on in a Rituals shop, it took me like 10 seconds to grab one of those 10ml bottles and buy it. It is just a beautiful smell. To me, it smells more like sandalwood but in a very sublime way, very soft and quite feminine, to be honest.
Funny that it is marketed as a men perfume, my husband would never wear it but he loves to smell it on me. His first reaction when i told him what i was wearing was: “Wow, i really thought you were wearing something very expensive.”
Indeed,it smells very sophisticated. I think that Rituals perfumes should get more attention, they have some nice jewels in their collection.

Awesome unisex scent, the opening kinda smells like fresh lychees and spices, then it turns into a wonderful oriental-amber and sandelwood-like scent. Longevity and sillage are amazing.

This is a nice fragrance, but as a male I like to wear the female version.
This is a fresher one than the womens version.
The Ambre line is for now a limited edition.
