This can be used as a body spray to refresh after a workout and shower. Sillage is very low and longevity is very poor. It is soft and the Neroli is light. Just a “little something” which won’t attract attention. Nice for bedtime also. This is very quiet. Suitable for a young girl.

I really thought I would like this, because I do like the”parts”…but sadly I don’t.
It comes off unspecial, and mass market to me. I was going to blind buy, but then found a tester…
Will give this one a miss…
    Try before you buy…

I just purchased this like an hour based on the reviews here, since I’m a huge fan of orange blossom and Neroli, we even use the water of it in cooking back home, which is Morocco. this just made me home sick in a good way….

This is a nice summer fragrance. The amber and white woods finish gives it a little extra at the finish. I have other true neroli so I would say this is not a real neroli, just more of an orange zest with a nice finish. I have many ODLR perfumes and can tell that these newer frags are a little different and not as complex as before since the newer company has taken over. Not as long lasting or deep as a signature ODLR but it is still a nice lighter version and a great summer fragrance.

This is a fresh sparkling citrus scent on me. It’s very uplifting and to my nose it is reminiscent of Lancôme’s O de Lancome on opening. As it dries down it becomes a little soapy but then the orange blossom and Jasmine comes in and finishes it off beautifully. Overall it is an effervescent, revitalizing fragrance. It’s beautiful and I think it will really bloom in warmer temps. Highly recommend if you enjoy fresh white florals.

My addiction to perfume has fully taken over my life lol today while browsing the 19.99 clearance rack at shoppers drug mart I stumbled upon this! Now I’ve had several ODLR perfumes in the past and have loved each and every single one so I did hAve slightly high expectations and sure enough it did not fail me! It’s another one that I love love love! It’s very citrusy and fresh smelling. Perfect for summer. I love this!

Thankfully, I smell no freesia. This is primarily about lovely, fresh neroli augmented tastefully by mandarin and white musk. Very much a neroli based treasure, strong and vibrant!
I see where the L’Origan comparisons are coming from, as there is a bright neroli opening to L’Origan. But that is where the similarity ends. L’Origan quickly becomes a gorgeously spicy-warm Oriental.
Another comparison might be Love2Love’s Orange Blossom and White Musk scent. It’s heavier on the orange and lighter on the neroli than Oscar’s offering, but they could be sisters, easily. I find Oscar’s longer lasting and Perhaps more expensive smelling, while Love2Love’s has moderate longevity and lacks the POW of real smelling neroli as the focal point.
This is not to say that one smells ‘better’ than the other, especially if you prefer more citrus than citrus flower! It’s all about personal taste. I’m very pleased with both as affordable gifts for orange blossom lovers. 🙂

I have the Rose and the Orange Flower. I bought both blind. The Orange Flower has a Mediterranean feel of oranges to it. That freshness and vibes that I associate with neroli colognes such as in the Acqua di Parma ones or Tom Ford’s Neroli. Please, it is not the same quality of course.
BUT VERY similar to the dry down of Guerlain’s Eau de Guerlain (I own)
Not sticky sweet at all, not heavy. It is not an orange popsicle. It does not have an aquatic nose to it.
I have the Coty L’Origan and it does not smell like it to my nose or my arms, at the time of spray or as it wears (L’Origan is powdery).
This is in a beautiful bottle with the ODLR typical top flower designs and I am happy to have it.
Wear it in the Spring or Summer, warm holidays. Let’s all say AHHH!
PS.Now I am curious to buy the Jasmine (green color) bottle! I am still taking in the aroma and playing with my thoughts on the Rose

I have tried all three of the new Oscars. The Rose, Jasmine and the Orange Flower. This one is my favourite. It is a bright and and crisp citrus with the warmth of mandarin. The floral is not sweet but light and fresh almost like an orange flower soap. There is a sharpness to it in the beginning that does soften down. If there is vanilla in this, it does not come through with my skin chemistry. For $19.99 at my local pharmacy it was an easy buy. Would be good for any season.

this are the notes listed for this one
The exotic Oscar Orange Flower of Oscar de La Renta, is a source of inspiration for his gorgeous floral fragrances. Orange Flower is a harmony of hibiscus and freesia flowers, with fresh citrusy opening of orange and mandarin. The sensual base unites vanilla, cedar and musk.
