Diesel Only The Brave Street begins with herbal, citrusy and fresh notes, combined with an aromatic apple, basil and bergamot. The determination and artistic touch are reflected in the blend of licorice and cardamon that form a spicy heart, supported by an elegant wooden alliance of cedar and vetiver. Vanilla provides softness and sensuality, making the woody trace calm and seductive.
The perfumer of Only The Brave Street edition is Nelly Hachem-Ruiz from IFF.

Very sweet in the same style as some of its peers (Azzaro Wanted, Invictus etc.). Not too bad but I suppose it’s best suited for teenagers graduating from Axe bodyspray. The licorice note is quite an interesting one for a scent like this.

Starts with an interesting blast of fruit which I initially thought was pineapple (the listed notes make me think again!). Then it goes a bit spicy. Quickly settles to a complete dupe of Calvin Klein Reveal… Which itself is very similar to JPG Ultra Male (albeit more salty).
All this takes place in the space of 15 minutes.
If you like the sample I’d just get a cheap bottle of Reveal as it’s discontinued and being sold off. The very brief opening isn’t worth the cashola.

Sweet orange and spice opening, drys to Versace eros but a little weaker………and that’s it, nice and simple. Its ok, done before though and a teens fragrance (im 38).

This is something along the lines of some Burberry frag. Very youthful, fresh but spicy. Seductive night time frag. I actually feel there is a resemblance to Armani Code, albeit not explicitly in the notes. (I haven’t even checked the notes yet.)
Also, just noticed now that I feel a resemblance to Boss Orange. Also a bit of First Instinct, and Fierce.
Diesel has never been a favorite perfume brand of mine, reviewing my post history. I did like “Only the Brave”, the original. But this is easily more interesting.
The scent is subdued behind a really bad marketing campaign and medioker cheap bottle design. This is waaay to refined for the average teen.
A very smooth blend. This will go unnoticed for a long time. Maybe even discontinued. But it is great.

Imagine a fresh take on Lolita Lempicka mixed with the apple sweetness of Boss Bottled. Thus it’s a sexy licorice crowd pleaser.
Has the spice of JPG Ultra Male and Invictus Intense.
It’s the only licorice scent I own now that I feel comfortable wearing in warmer conditions.
Very versatile, my Lolita Lempicka fragrances are not.

Opening smells like an Oxo cube with liquorice. Dry down is mainly liquorice.

Diesel fragrances in general never get
to much love from fragrance community, i do
like a few of them and this one is no
exception, it starts off with a fresh
licorice vibe and after a while it gets creamy
and the licorice and wood mixes very well
togheter and create a rater unike scent,
not like the others currently on the market,
i actually liked this one a lot, it lasted pretty
good too, tho the projection was over at the 2 hour mark
i still think this is a solid release from diesel at least
if you like licorice you should try it out.

This might just be me, and perhaps too literal, but this was such a missed opportunity for them to include a wet cement note or a pebbles like in CK2… but other than thta i’m excited for this release
