    @chandra.goldie.a
Clary sage (at least good perfume-grade variety) has a remarkably ambergris-ish note to it – really quite remarkably so, considering that it’s a plant.

I blind bought this, and this one never really disappoints me. I read/watch many reviews before blind buying, thanks for it, I can picture what it smells like in my head. When it came, I tried it out and the smell is exactly what people have been saying.
It’s a perfume build around the fig note, a very prominent one. The opening is quite sweet, I think it’s from the mandarin. It then transformed into something more green & woody in the dry down, but the fig is still the front liner. I don’t know what clary sage smells like, but I guess it’s the one giving more greenness in the background during this phase.
I don’t really smell any iris/pink pepper. Maybe it’s there but very subtle.
surprisingly this one last for quite long on my skin. I get almost 12h of longevity. Last application, I get whiffs on the 10h mark. This one is not screaming loud, the projection is not that great. It’s great for a daily office scent since it won’t offend anybody.
My colleagues tried it, but they didn’t like it. So I assume this is not a safe blind buy for everyone. If you like Fig or green notes, this one is worth the try.

Ferrari Noble Fig is another cheapie that makes quite a splash Its performance isn’t as boastful as Radiant Bergamot in terms of either projection or longevity but it’s surely as interesting.
Fig has proven a challenging note for me to enjoy, despite it being one I’d specifically love to enjoy. The blend in Noble Fig is superb, as the blend of citrus, patchouli, iris, and musk serving as an apropos backdrop to the fig.
The blend remains sweet while simultaneously being fresh and woody with just a hint of powder and herbs. Overall, it’s quite pleasant and agreeable, an inoffensive, versatile fig fragrance. It’s not bound to be everyone’s cup of tea, since fig remains an idiosyncratic fruit note, but it’s one of the most enjoyable expressions of the note that I’vet tried to date, and it feels easy, not challenging, despite having a little bit of depth.
At $25 for 100ml on FragranceX, this is an example of yet another humbly-priced offering from Ferrari that seems borderline unreasonably good. Like Radiant Bergamot, this is another cheapie bottle I’ll be adding to my collection.

Simply delightful, but hardly simple! This smells anything but cheap, in fact it’s what I wanted Versace Versense to smell like! Fresh, green, but not sharp green, very mellow and mild, with lovely creamy floral undertones. I find it more on the feminine side, but then again it’s quite similar to Versace Eau Frâiche which is not marketed as unisex. So man or woman, this is likely a safe buy that will mesh perfectly with your chemistry and smell just slightly different depending on who you are. One of my all time favorites when I just want to smell good and unique! Sometimes I need a break from all my other syrupy fruity sugar bomb scents lol!

    Longevity 7/10

I’ve owned and enjoyed Nobile Fig for a while. Smelt Armani Figuier Eden today and they are so close. OK the Armani’s got a bit more girth but they are directly comparable (can’t say for performance).
NF is utterly niche quality. With nearly all designer scents smelt close up there’s usually something disagreeable to me: plastic, dried saliva, chemistry lab, to name a few. This doesn’t have any of that, it’s pure all the way through like a £100/200 bottle.
Performance wise I don’t think it’s bellow average for this type of scent and it outperforms AdP Fico whose amazing opening only lasts for a flash on my skin (NF is pretty linear).
    What a shame it’s discontinued.

Wonderful fragrance. I lately have been exploring fig-based fragrances, and this one is definitely up there. The bottle has a beautiful design with a wonderful leather accent in the metal lid.
The fig leaf blends well with the sage, and the orange holds them both together to form a very natural smell. Sillage is medium low, and with a 4-5 hour longevity. The overall scent is neither overpowering nor offensive.
Because of its low price, value for the money, and distinguished yet amicable scent, this is great for those exploring the world of fig-based fragrances.
My rating of fig-based fragrances are as follows with my impression of them (lower number is better):
1- Jardin in Mediterranee by Hermes: Fantastic natural fig/woody fragrance with 6-8 hour longevity
2- Noble Fig by Ferrari: green fig/sage with decent longevity and minimal sillage
3- Salvatore Ferragamo Pour Homme: Fig leaf with cedar/vetiver. Decent longevity and sillage.
4- Fico de Amalfi by Acqua di Parma: light fig/citrus blend. Summer fragrance with minimal sillage and longevity
5- Figuier Ardent by Atelier Cologne: sweet/green fig with milky citrus. Sillage and Longevity are moderate/good
6- Ninfeo Mio by Annick Goutal: very green leaf/ivy/citrus scent where the fig takes a while to emerge. Decent sillage/longevity.
7- Zegna Milan by Ermenegildo Zegna: Simple fig mixed with Iso E Super. Lasts a while and sillage is moderate

This is a beautifully constructed fragrance, that’s dominated by juicy mandarin and green fig leaf. Beautiful combo I must say. As it dries down the clary sage makes an appearance with a soft musk background. It’s light, fresh and green.
It’s almost perfect if it wasn’t for the poor projection. The poor projection makes it hard to be versatile. I pretty much use it straight after a shower to freshen up whilst chilling at home.

Very pleasing, down to earth, upclassy and simple fig fragrance. For springdays and occasions when you don’t want to fragbomb anyone. Short sillage in my opinion. In some way I wish it was stronger, but it’s just the kind of soft and natural spring juice that’s worth way more than its price ($15).

Smells like oily green leaf to me. Not saturated fat oily but rather chopped fig leaf salad with coconut oil dressing oily.

A wonderful surprise! As it happens way too often lately, yet another cheapie has knocked the legendary something – in in this case, Philosykos- out of my collection. For good.
Noble fig is an airy, woody fig tree, radiating calm and joy in the sun.. for about 3 hours on my skin.
Philosykos edt did have around the same longevity, perhaps a bit more grain to its wood combined with more of milkiness and a bit different kind of sweetness, I’d say. Noble fig seems truly unisex, nothing harsh or aggressive in it, nor is it frills and girly giggle.
Oh, and I feel like it develops towards something of a “fig tree on the beach” slightly salty vibe. Is it the musk or my memories of last spring in Corfu?

@daynierds , do you know about a thing called personal taste?
if you think that this one is trash, doesn’t mean that everybody feels the same.
just as like Philosykos, many people also don’t like that either.
i find that your comment is really shallow.
oh, and what a surgeon has to do with nose? nose job?
and if nobody around you care for it, well maybe because it is YOU.

This is quite a fantastic, natural smelling scent. As a woman you mostly get sandalwood, rosewood, or birch as woody components mixed in your fragrances, so the smell of fig tree is really something new to me, and I have to admit that I adore it. This is a rather masculine unisex scent, I suppose most ladies and especially young women won’t like it on themselves but on a male next to them. The fig tree/leaf is dominant with subtle orange and sage, though the patchouli is non existent for my nose. After a fresh, sharp opening it settles down on me with a woody and a bit leathery note.
I’m very suprised Ferrari has such good quality affordable scents. I would never have tried their products were it not for Radiant Bergamot from the same line, that I bought as a lover of bergamot and after reading the praising reviews about it. Now I even ordered another unisex scent from Ferrari and hopefully that too will be such a gem as both Noble Fig and Radiant Bergamot are.

Ohhh what a nostalgia! Mediterranean is my home region, and growing up there means the smell of orange and fig trees is a normality. You don’t notice how an exotic luxury it is until you leave. Then everytime you smell neroli or fig, you go back to that place, to those days. This is what I felt from the very first sniff of Ferrari Noble Fig. And it turns extremely similar to Un Jardin En Mediterranee Hermès after 5 minutes!
Also many reviews mention “Fig”, but this is a “Fig tree/leaf” scent. They are 2 very different notes where fig smells rich, warm and not so zesty freshy and fig leaf smells sharper, fresher and lighter. It’s the same like smelling a fruit before it’s mature, and smelling it after it’s mature and ready to pick.
The mandarin orange with iris can be noticed easily along with pink pepper. Ferrari simply did yet another great job after Silver Essence! Great summer fragrance, completely safe to blind buy, and performance looks pretty good for a scent having these notes.
Only warning I could give to blind buyers: This is NOT a masculine fragrance. I’d actually love to smell it on a girl. So if you want to try it first, but can’t see it in retail stores, just try Un Jardin En Mediterranee Hermès and you’ll have an idea.

lovely fresh fig scent, similar to Ferragamo pour Homme, unfortunately on my skin doesn´t last more than 2-3 hours with a rather weak projection (spraying on clothes improves this a lot)

Let me preface by saying; I’ve had been looking down my nose at the thought of owning a fragrance from Ferrari! That opinion has been corrected with my purchase of Ferrari’s Noble Fig! N.F. is a delightful fragrance indeed! Subtle and sophisticated it is not at all what I expected it to be(loud & excessively sweet)! I took a chance with an online New Year’s sale and was nicely rewarded for my risk! This is my second-day wearing and my friends’ reviews of it are surprising: “sweet leather, leather& fruit, and Pears &leather”…I can understand the”leather” comments myself because I swear I smell it as well! But we all agree that is a great scent! The only drawbacks being it doesn’t project very far or hang on the skin as long as I would like, but those 2 minor complaints aside, this was a very good blind buy! I’m now very interested in trying some of Ferrari’s other offerings!N.F. should be a safe bet for the workplace, doctor’s office, or other environments where frags are not encouraged!Less than $30.00 bucks for 100ml flanker which is quite tasteful, my new discovery of 2018!
    Cheers! Happy New Year!

This smells very natural. The Fig note is earthy, beautiful. Stays pretty close to my skin. Can’t wait to try it in warmer weather.

Tasty basket of fruits and flowers, mostly figs, rich and juicy. Suitable for fig lovers, especially those with some sophisticated and joyful life-stile. Like me.

As a lover of Hermes Un Jardin En Mediterranee, I took to this scent straightaway. The fig is scent of leaf and wood, not the gimicky sweet fruit. It has a bright opening and transitions well into the middle notes. It settles in a very smooth patchouli and fig lingers along till the end. Thankfully the powdery musk or iris is not too pronounced, due to which the scent stays dry and crisp till the end. If you like the fig and citrus but can’t handle the cedar in UJEM, this would be the one for you. Unlike UJEM, this settles into a very smooth scent.
The longevity is very poor though, about 3 hrs I would say. Sillage is very low too about 1 ft for about 1-2 hrs. You’d have to get some of it on your clothes to get some sillage out of it. Even so, none of it lasts beyond 3-4 hrs. A real shame, cuz I would have like this to last thru the work day.
As a scent though its a good buy at this price to add to your collection.

Probably my favorite of the Ferrari line up right now. It’s only lightly sweet, but dry. You get the fig leaf, pepper, sage for sure, but I only get hints of orange, musk and patchouli. It’s very pleasant and doesn’t smell like everything else around these days. The presentation is very nice as well with the leather banding on the heavy metal cap and clear, heavy bottle. I personally think they should just use the horse logo and ditch the “Ferrari” on the bottle, but oh well. This juice could very well be in some niche bottle and you’d be none the wiser. I get an acceptable 6+ hours from it. For the price you can’t go wrong.

Nice peppery fig smell. Decent quality. No projection at any volume of juice or number of sprays. I can at least force Armani Figuier Eden to project and last decently with enuff sprays. Not with Noble Fig.

I have to write a few words here about this gem. Ferrari Noble Fig is a delicious fig based fragrance. Green, earthy, fresh and sweet at the same time. Natural smell all the way through. Great longevity and silage on my skin. Bought 2 back up bottles and that’s demonstrate my love for this juice.

The more natural the scent is, probably stronger is the pleasure it causes. This is the case of Noble Fig, a master piece from Ferrari. Possibly the best top notes I have ever felt. After spraying Noble Fig, we really have the impression of smelling fig leaves. However, some minutes latter, the strong fig scent is reduced and the clary sage appears and shares the refreshing effect of the fig note. I compared it with another famous scent based on fig leaf smell: Good Live, a discontinued fragrance from Davidoff. Clearly, Good life is more masculine, more powerfull, but exagerately synthetic, whereas Noble fig is more natural. Although Noble fig is slightly more masculine than feminine, my wife adores to share it with me. Unfortunately, sillage is moderate to low. On the other side, the scent lasts for days on clothes.

To continue its expansion in the perfumery market, the Ferrari brand decided to start a new chapter in the history of the Essence Collection, which was released in the year 2012. To this end, decided to invest in unisex fragrances, extolling a single special ingredient in each creation, through more cheerful and fresh interpretations.
So, in 2015, was born the Essence Les Eaux collection, with three scents in Eau de Toilette concentration: Noble Fig, Bright Neroli and Pure Lavender. They hit the market with the same visual pattern, but in transparent bottles, revealing the unique color of each piece. The boxes and the lids also have the same finishing and color, revealing a bright and sophisticated beige leather.
Noble Fig, as the name suggests, brings the fig as key ingredient and its composition contains notes of red pepper, mandarin orange and fig leaves, in the top. In the body of the fragrance, notes of cinnamon bark, clary sage and iris. Finally, the base reveals notes of patchouli, walnut wood and musk crystals.
On the skin, Noble Fig arrives strong, green and juicy. But the juicy part doesn’t come from the Fig, but the mandarin orange. The fig leaves feature green nuances and, at the same time, dirty, almost earthy. On my skin, it didn’t evolve much, but the sage gave a leathery tone, well supported by the facets of iris. Over time, it was also possible to notice that the fragrance evolved into a salty side, which I believe to be a result of the mixture of musk crystals with the woody notes.
If I had to point out a flaw, I would say that the fig, as the main ingredient, should have been present at all stages of olfactory pyramid, keeping itself in constant evolution and highlight. For sure, the result would be even better. Anyway, Noble Fig has excellent durability and projection, especially for an EDT with high quality ingredients. It’s extremely versatile and elegant!
Increasingly, I realize that the fig is the new OUD from few years ago and still has a lot to present in the world of perfumery. As well as Ferrari, which decided to invest in other market – also pleasing women – by creating a line so sophisticated and with universal acceptance.
If you like scents with notes of fig, then you can’t miss the chance to meet this noble fig with Italian origin.

Luminous, fresh, holder of an exquisite floral quality and beautiful. It is a very rare event when a house crafts a fragrance for men with such features.
Men, do not be affraid of this Noble Fig. It is true it can easily be classified as a unisex fragrance, but there is absolutely nothing wrong about that.
I noticed it works way better in cool temperatures. I would recommend it for early Spring: day and night and Autumn: day, preferably. Or else: air conditioned environment. Heat, sweat and moist will (and do) make it go in the wrong direction, making the fig softness turn into something acid, which was not designed to be or intended. It projects a lot and sillage is all about fig with some musk smoothness. And the pepper note is very brief, limited to the first minutes, thank God.
Very few fragrances evolving fig, smell so beautifully. Something I found only in Un Jardin en Mediterranée by Hermès and Fleur de Figuier by Roger et Gallet, which resembles with.
I recommend it and say: enjoy it.

I just got this Noble Fig couple days ago, along with Pure Lavender. And I find that this Fig is better than Lavender, specially with the longevity.
This Noble Fig is very fresh and green, open with fresh Fig aroma, then dries down with flowery and soft musky scent. Reminds me with Salvatore Ferragamo PH or Dune for men. I don’t find any peppery and bitter taste of iris, but fresh and sweet musky along the way.
Got almost 6 hours, and still can smell after that.
Good quality and it’s a must try, you’ll love it. Cheers

Orbitord, I was about to ask if this cologne is EDP-concentrated! I read your comments on “Bright Neroli”. Sadly, I don’t really do EDT again, may except it’s EDT Intense. I seek colognes with more oils, longer and stronger projection/longevity. Currently enjoying my “Essence Oud” and “Leather Essence”. Would also try Vetiver Essence too. Thanks Orbitord!
