After collections of body and home fragrance, Rituals cosmetics from Netherlands launches their first perfumes to mark the tenth anniversary of the brand. In collaboration with world-renowned perfumers, Rituals represents eight high-quality perfumes, five for women and three for men. Female perfumes are No. 01, No. 04, No. 07, No. 09 and No. 18 and male ones are No. 06, No. 14 and No. 19. Each of them is based on two main ingredients that give it strong character. The ingredients are natural with the addition of organic alcohol.
No. 04 Violet & White Lily is a floral – fruity fragrance signed by Vincent Schaller. Notes of violets and lilies form a very feminine and a bit nostalgic fragrant blend.
Top notes: lemon, apple, pink pepper.
Heart: violet, lily, rose.
Base: cedar, sandalwood.
Available in simple and elegant bottle with wooden stopper as 50 ml Eau de Parfum.

I had never heard of Rituals until I read about the line on Fragrantica looking for a fragrance with violet in it. I purchased Rituals #4 shortly after reading about it and boy, I am so glad I did. This is a beautiful, long-lasting fragrance. Oh, it is so delicious! If you have never tried (or heard of) Rituals, you must give this line a try. You won’t be sorry. The violet is not too sweet and over-powering. It is well blended with the apple and lily and don’t be off put by the sandalwood. It’s tame, well blended and balanced and gives maturity to the sweetness of the violet, lily and apple. I love it. When I run out, I’m getting another bottle!

Again, very natural and absolutely nothing artificial.
Spring in a bottle… Imagine the sun coming up on a beautiful spring morning, evaporating the glistening dewdrops from Violets and Lilies in bloom…
Refreshing, sunny, flowery, slightly powdery, mildly soapy…
It’s a light fragrance, but perfectly noticeable for the one who wears it. Longevity is very good on my skin, it even survived a shower!

This is a perfume I never would have tried, if it weren`t for a nice girl who sent me a sample of it.
Have never heard of this brand at all?
It`s very floral. The lily is strong, natural and rather sharp. But the violet gives it a bit softer feel. The violet almost “drizzels” a sugary touch over the lilys. But it`s definately not a candy scent, it`s very realistic and natural, with the “real” sweetness of violet flowers.
