Description

Neroli Eau de Parfum by Laura Mercier was introduced in May 2008. Elegant and timeless, it transforms all the senses in just one second. Sparkling freshness of lemon peer and bitter orange form the top notes. There are delicately chosen flowers of freesia, neroli, jasmine and peony at the heart, while the base notes of this perfume introduce musk, amber, sandalwood and vanilla. It is available as 50 ml edp.
The nose behind this fragrance is Maurice Roucel.

I have 50ml full bottle to trade for fancy or gold sugar.

It smells absolutly beautiful in the bottle with the orange, soft floral, and sweetness all combining and blossoming out. At first spray it did remind me somewhat of fruitloops. A sweet, girly orange thats soft and kissed with a lovely little floral note. Unfortunatly, on my skin the musk note takes over in combination with the sweetness and becomse rather cloying. That gorgeous floral note dissapears and over time so does the orange. This would have been a favorite in my collection had it stayed on my skin the way it smelled in the bottle.

It’s very sweet and after awhile it becomes quite sickly on my skin… Would not buy again and don’t think I’ll finish the bottle. Shame as it smells beautiful in the bottle.

The first time i wore it to work coworkers commentet and i quote: “this room smells like bubblegum”,well i don’t like foody fragrances so gave it to my 20 y/o daughter who really likes it and on her it smells like a floral cotton candy.

    A lovely cottony orange scent.
Slight citrus crispness and softly fresh floral with no greenness at all (thank goodness!).
Mainly musk with a touch of vanilla in the drydown.
Good for summer, casual or office.
I wouldn’t pay top dollar for it in a dept. store but it’s a bargain at under $20. Medium sillage lasts for an hour or 2 and skin close for another 2-3 after that.
Upgraded to love after wearing for a few days…very feminine. This will be my scent this summer.

Neroli is a very girly and fresh citrus scent, it’s not tangy or sharp in any way. It opens up with a burst of orange blossom and transforms into a jasmine/vanilla dry down. On my skin it’s so delicious and creamy, and makes me feel warm and fuzzy. The scent has medium sillage but really envelops you in the intoxicating scent. The longevity is pretty good, lasting about 6 hours. I think this scent would be a good everyday scent for all seasons.

I have received my blind buy today. My first impression was-this is so new-age, maybe because of a very warm and sensuous base. This is perfume that stays close to skin, it does not live a fragrant cloud around you. It is on a sweet side, maybe because of vanilla. Nice and warm, everyday and comfort, i could wear this to yoga or meditation. It did not have the wow factor for me, but i am pleased overall. Somehow i wish for some sharper top note, more white florals on top, more of intrigue. As I have tried Badgley Mischka Fleur de Nuit first, i don’t seem to smell Neroli perfume, my nose is overwhelmed with the first one. Will smell some coffee or give it another try later on. I am sure Neroli has its own beauty, which i have to pay some more attention to. Will report later.

This is a very nice sweet true lemon scent, close to the skin. I do not get any oranges (blossoms or anything from it) . The opening is very lovely, unfortunately disappears after 3 seconds and then it is all about lemon and then about limes juice. Not citrus in it at all – no sharpness, what I like.

Very nice, soft, fresh, cozy fragrance. I blind bought it because I had a great deal, so how could I not buy it, right? 😉 And I’m very happy I did.
UPDATE: I like this fragrance for everyday wear. It so warm and reconforting.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t have staying power on me. I have to reaply it every two hours or so.

gorgeous orange blossom scent, takes me back to sunny holidays in spain and Turkey, brings back fond memories. After a while on the skin this fragrance turns to a creamy light orange blossom which i find sheer and light, a very pretty fragrance.

This is a beauty queen of orange blossom scents.
Jasmine is the co-star here, the two notes goes beautifully together.
The opening is a crisp, slightly bitter and very sheer citrus floral.
Slowly the flowers become honeyed, warm and very sensual on the skin. The dry down is slightly sweet and oriental. The vanilla here only adds depth and cozy effect, but never screams gourmand.
It reminds me of Alien by Thierry Mugler and a much better version of Elie Saab.
Although beautiful on its own, Neroli EDP makes an excellent layering fragrance because of its sleekness. My favourite combination is to layer it with L’Occitane Honey & Lemon in cold weather.
Lasting power and projection is amazing. This perfume gets me compliments from men immediately, and the ladies too.
Neroli EDP is sexy in a very classy way.
It is a good signature scent, bold without being offensive. I would recommend this for a date or a night out in town.

I love this probably more than it deserves, because the notes are so clear and easy to smell. I’m just starting out with fragrances, so I’ve been trying to smell all kinds of different ones wherever there are testers. Most fragrances smell like a muddle to me, or so similar to each other or generic.
I can clearly smell the orange blossoms and jasmine, with vanilla playing a secondary role. This makes me very happy 🙂
The fact I found mine at Winners for $17 CAD makes me even happier! First perfume I ever blind bought. I love fragrances with citrus notes and it was eau de parfum so I thought, why not?
Great warm weather fragrance, nice and light and stays close to the skin after it dries down.

This opens up with Orange Blossom. Its a very green floral scent, with a hint of orange peel. Then it pretty much stays the same, but it just becomes more subtle. I’m not a fan of floral but this one isn’t overly floral, which I like. The only down side is lack of lasting power. The opening scent dissipates so quickly it get to the dry down which wears very close to the skin. I get two hours max then it completely disappears. On clothes maybe a little longer. I’m still on the fence with this one, think I’ll return this one.

More floral and less citrus than I expected and wanted. I find it quite simple and linear. Like a beautiful floral middle note but without a distinctive top note to add a spark and a base note to anchor the fragrance and give it depth. Very strong and long lasting.

I fell in love with Jo Malone Orange Blossom but sometimes the luscious rich scent would fade fast. I Googled orange blossom and found that Neroli was same/similar. I tried Laura Mercier Neroli Eau de Parfum because I liked the cosmetics but it was too potent. It went beyond the pleasant ambiance of sunny orange grove full of blossoming trees to concentrated floral aroma that was breath taking but not in a good way. I will continue my search for an orange blossom that I like as much as Jo Malone but a bit more longetivity.
