Description

Narciso Rodriguez presented his famous fragrances For Her and For Her Eau de Parfum in 2004 and 2006. After that, there were many limited edition and variations on the original theme. In February 2013, a new, refreshing and lighter version called Narciso Rodriguez L’Eau For Her is launched.

The original is warm, addictive, heady and musky. The new fragrance retains its sensuality but expresses it in the form of a light veil of body and skin scent. L’Eau is more playful and more youthful than the original. According to the designer, it symbolizes modern femininity which involves simple elegance and impulsivity.

The composition consists of jasmine, cyclamen and sparkling pink peony, with rose, amber and frozen lily of the valley that form a silky veil. The base includes musk and chypre accords of patchouli, immanent to the For Her collection of fragrances.

The campaign shows model Carmen Kass. The fragrance is available as 30, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette.

The nose behind this fragrance is Aurelien Guichard.

I think drydown very similarly to IDYLLE eau sublime

On me, musk, jasmine and rose stood out the most, especially jasmine, and maybe a little of lily-of-the-valley. And I still detected the obvious DNA of the line here. The EDP is too musky for me and this L’Eau is able to tone that musk down few notches, so that is great. A “spicy”/“green” undertone (probably the patchouli) works nicely as just a fresh kick to make this one absolutely an eau de toilette. I like it very much from start to finish for its bright energy.

I’m a huge fan of Narciso Rodriguez fragrances; currently I own For Her EDT and EDP, Fleur Musc and Narciso Rouge. They’re all very beautiful and wearable, quite similar, yet each one has something particular and magical about them. This version For Her L’Eau is still available at my local Sephora, although it was launched five years ago; so hopefully it is now a permanent addition to the line. In comparison to other NR fragrances, L’Eau is the one with the most prominent musky components; it’s a very sensual, creamy musk. Amongst the floral notes, the one that stands out for me is lily-of-the-valley, together with peony and rose. It’s a safe blind-buy and a guaranteed compliment-getter.

A wet watery rose with stems and leaves. So soft and warm with the Narciso base softened a bit.
Longevity is only fair (?)– but when I cannot smell this on myself — people comment that they can. And they say “Oh you smell nice”.
Safe “blind buy” from the reviews on here !

Well composed, flirtatious, youthful but not childish, something warm and spicy underneath it all. It’s very suitable for the spring and early summer, fresh and reinvigorating with a spring bouquet. Very beautiful.

With everyone looking forward to spring, I’m always surprised this doesn’t get mentioned more! It is my absolute most favorite spring fragrance! I love the Narciso Rodriguez for Her eau de toilette, and bought this on an impulse several years ago. I will repurchase this as long as they keep making it…it’s back up bottle worthy for me. The peony is the most prominent note, along with LOTV. The musk reads quite clean on my skin. The scent is utterly feminine and strongly so! It delicate and nuanced, but I wouldn’t call it soft. It most definitely has “presence”, similar to other Narciso offerings. I can understand how some might describe this as “cold”. It most certainly has a frostiness to it: it truly smells like sniffing the first spring flowers on a cold, rainy, and overcast day. This is how I would best describe it: imagine walking in a slow drizzle on a cold spring day carrying a bouquet of peonies and LOTV, all while wearing your work best and a crisp trenchcoat. If you’re a fan of NR fragrances and are looking to switch it up for spring, I’d totally recommend it!

L’eau is such a youthful and flirtatious fragrance full of indolic accords of jasmine, lilly-of-the valley and peony. Subversive innocence; cheeky to the point of indecency and yet, well-bred and beautiful. Caramelized musk that is just sweet enough not to be sugary; deliciously feminine but not witnout an edge ( patchouli in play here, indeed). Sensuous and ravishing, not a quiet smell at all, actually quite a powerful one that makes you feel like ” the world is your oyster, girl”.
In spring, in summer, in every season enjoy yourself!
    Big Love from me!!

amaaaazingggg.it is a very clean and elegant fregrance.it opens up with green floral notes then it settles down to a beautiful musky floral smell. long lasting as well.

This is the super femme delicate version of Narciso for Her, it is a lily of the valley bomb, not a note I’m overly fond of but it works so well with Narciso musk, i end up liking it quite a bit. I really don’t catch the other flowers overmuch but the best part of this one (aside from the musk) is that patchouli and amber down in the heart. This has great performance for a l’eau, I discovered that the light versions of Narciso are usually quite powerful (Narciso EDT, I’m looking at you)
I suggest this for those who want a super girly floral musk

This is a lovely summery scent, I do love NR for Her but since I am having this I realised this one suits my skin better. It is really smooth but still characteristic, feels really elegant wearing it. Lovely fresh cut rose and lily with a hint of juicy fruit and just the right amount of musk to make it a proper adult scent.

I have this, and thankfully I only have the miniature bottle of this. While I love the original and the Amber one, and I do LIKE this one, but it doesn’t last long on my skin. And my skin normally takes to perfumes really well. But for some reason it doesn’t stick around longer than a couple of hours.

  19. :

Great juice, summery light jasmine with moderate sillage. Like an expensive silk scarf wrapping you while you wear it. BUT, longevity on my skin is 2 hours max… A shame.

  20. :

You know, for supposedly being a “L’eau” flanker of a kind of barely there musky skin scenty type perfume, this one certainly packs a punch. I’m not crazy about LOTV, it’s one of my least favorite floral scents probably, and as expected it’s kind of turning me off. However, it has a nice, clean, kind of uppity edge. I’d wear this if I felt like I needed to give the impression that I am a) better than someone and b) don’t give a shit.

I love it! This perfume truly loves my skin and radiates!

It starts bitter fresh, youthfull and water nymph-like. Unfortunately after 5 minuits it turns into some fecal note (although not always! and I stop smelling it eventually, but some people here confirm it so I ‘m not totally wrong). I guess it’s the heavily indolic lilly of the valey combined with patchouli and/or musks… The drydown is very musky, creamy and sexy, but this one note… too bad, I wanted to give it a chance because I love the original edp & edt. I will continue the tests though.
So it’s a kind of dirty-fresh smell. For a young woman or a girl. Definitely it’s a spring – summer fragrance.
edit- got myself a full 100ml bottle. I dont get the dirty notes anymore. Its longer lasting and more powerfull than NR EDP and EDT alltogether.

Is it just me…but I cannot with this perfume. No matter how many times I try it, how long I let it sit, how much I may layer it…it smells like feces to the point it makes me sick. I really wanted to love this scent too because I wanted something more womanly and sophisticated smelling (everything today smells like a 15 year old) but this is very overwhelming for me. Maybe my sense of smell is just not sophisticated enough for this one LOL. Just not a hit for me and I have a full size bottle of it too!

I like but cannot stand roses on me. I had Idylle and gave it away. This one though, excellently balanced, not too sweet, not too flowery, not too dry or musky. For Her edp was not for me (too sweet and cloying) but this one is beautiful and unusual. Bought without second thoughts.
Edited to add: for me, it’s better during hot weather because the strong rose scent dissipates soon after application and just compliments the rest of the notes. When I wore it in an air-conditioned room the roses where overwhelming.

Recent purchase 🙂 … In retrospective, Ive always wanted to own Narciso Rodriguez for her since it came out, but never got my hands around it. A lot of years has passed, and just recently I discover this L eau version, and its amazing!!!!
First of all, always though the original was too musky and heavy, but this is a perfect version, its not too strong and more flowery.
Totally recommended!!!!, today I wore it and its fantastic…its even better on than sniffed on the bottle.

White floral/oceanic perfume with a nice musky depth. It’s not the type of perfume I usually go for, but I enjoy it when I want something crisp and fresh. Good office scent.

You were a blind buy, and I am so happy I got you!
As soon as I took it out of the box, I did acknowledge how nice the bottle looked.
It looks as is the juice is creamy.
Which it is! It has the smooth milky feeling to it, with a blast of beautiful florals.
    Spring and summer is calling.
Update: My future husband LOVES this

This one is lovely. When I first spray it on, I get a strong fecal note (!!!) so beware! It’s pretty horrifying at this point. But don’t panic, it goes away quickly, and the blossoms start coming soon. I smell the lily of the valley, which mixed with the rose and other floral notes almost smells like an orange blossom. It’s all very sweetly musky and delicate – feminine and soft, but not too clean. I like it. I find it more approachable than the original, which is a little too heavy on the musk for me. And it lasts fairly well for an EDT.
BIG plus: go it for $9.99 at TJMaxx!!!

Being a fan of powdery, soft and sweet perfumes I often search for ingredients like vanilla, wood, amber etc. Also avoid in big circle anything that has flowers or fruit in the description (I hate roses).
But this perfume proved one more time that it is not about the ingredients but the overall result, energy and vibe certain fragrance projects.
Having said that, this flowery scent is the softest, powdery, creamy, silky, liquid, milky beauty.
It is perfect, blends amazing with the skin and projects something that is just “mmmm..”
Smells like baby skin, or fresh, clean skin of a woman in spring morning.
(is that the scent Jean-Baptiste Grenouille from brilliant book “Perfume” tried to achieve by killing young girls and extracting their scent into perfume oil?)

Sillage is strong to start off with due to the intense aquatic, high-pitched sugar rush that is the lily of the valley & peony (I initially thought it was melon or pineapple). My first impression was that it seemed aquatic. Sillage fades with the aforementioned lily. Dries down to sweet, rosy, musky, amber patchouli mishmash. Very pleasant indeed, longevity is not great though.
Solid like, but it doesn’t thrill me.

I know most people who have this aren’t going to like this review. I don’t mind because i’m just sharing my opinion through my experience.
The mini i have,as part of a gift set i purchased, smells fecal right out of the splash bottle. I splashed it on paper with same results. Splashed a lil on my wrist, waited 4 hours with no change then showered. All i detected was an awful blend of dirty musk and patchouli.
I’ve since then left this one alone which was in January wondering if i was having an off day with chemistry or my own sense of smell.
Mind you i had already owned the large bottles of NR edp & edt, both of which i love at home. I was out of town and not thrilled with the random samples i threw in my carry on so i bought this knowing i already loved half of the bottles in this gift box of minis. I proceeded wearing the edp and edt bottles and they smelled the same as what i experienced at home.
The other day i went to Macy’s and sprayed a card at the counter and threw it in my shopping bag just to see what my thoughts were out of the large spray bottle. It was a light form of the edt but missing the extras with a little twist. Not bad like the experience i had in the hotel. So i went home and decanted what i could of my lil splash bottle into a fresh spray vial and gave it a try after a shower.
It was still fecal as i remembered. I stuck with it and over two hours later the heavy musk/patchouli mixture faded a bit and revealed the lotv everyone is mentioning in the reviews. It turned from dirty to clean finally. I’m wondering if my little bottle was just a batch that had so much more musk in it than usual.
Weird experience. I’ll stick to the original edp and edt for now on over this.

Im totaly anosmic to this – so funny, it never happened to me until I tried this (and I have already tried about thousand scents so far..). Since I love NR and I loved this bottle especially, I really wanted to like this but I smell NOTHING at all..like water, really nothing, no matter how much I spray. I tried several bottles…but I do smell other NR parfumes really good and strongly and they are all actually similar so I dont understand why this happen to me with this one

I had Guerlain’s Idylle for a few months prior to owning this one. I loved the way Idylle smelled, for the most part, but there was a pungent note in it that I couldn’t tolerate. The lily and rose were so strong and lovely, but, to me, they were overpowered by a smell reminiscent of cheap white wine. I really hate wine, and it ruined the entire perfume for me. I ended up selling my bottle.
Before I purchased L’Eau for Her, I had read about it, and I wasn’t sure if it would actually smell like Idylle or not. I was worried it would have that note, but it is everything good about Idylle without the grating wine note. The lily and rose and musky sensuality of it. The heart of it smells almost identical, if anything it is smoother and creamier. Also, Idylle’s rose note is more prominent than the rose in L’Eau for Her.
The lily is definitely the strongest (by far!) for me here. With the first few sprays, there is a tart cyclamen smell mingled with loads of lily and hints of jasmine. I get a pretty noticeable rose note and patchouli for the first few minutes. The peony is just a whisper.
Once the floral rush fades, it dries down to smell like a lily version of Narciso for Her. The sharper edges disappear, the notes of the cyclamen, patchouli, rose, and peony, and it becomes a simple, creamy lily musk with a bit of jasmine.
Very beautiful, elegant, feminine, and lovely. More like this one, please.

I was going on vaccation to Spain and wanted something very light and airy – barely there. I usually use Molecule 02 or 01 from Escentric Molecule, but I wanted something slightly more “perfumey” for summer. You can then maybe imagine that I prefer almost undetectable perfumes.
This is perfect, and I love it, and SO loves it (he commented on this so many times, but he doesn’t usually care for perfume!), and I can’t imagine anyone being offended by it – I think it’s definitely office-friendly! Right after application, it’s quite strong though, like all perfumes. It’s fresh, very light – indeed barely there, clean, musky flowers (mainly a fragile lily of the valley, but I sometimes also get), very slightly aquatic (cyclamen) and mildly sweet (amber-patchouli). As the lily of the valley-smell can’t be extracted, but needs to be blended together from other things, I’m impressed – this is a good interpretation if it. The drydown is lightly musky, creamy woods, with a tiny sour note (I assume from gardenia, on my skin), which is amplified a little bit on my clothes.
This leaves the room smelling great forever! It’s super-light, but it lasts for a long time on me: at least 7 hours, but I think it might be even longer. Mild sillage, but good longevity. Can see this being great for both summer and winter – I’m really looking forward to using this in the winter! I don’t regret this in-the-moment purchase at the airport (I had only tried it once before, but it really caught my attention) 🙂 I bought 100 mL of the L’eau and got 10 mL of the hair perfume with it, which smells closer to the EDT, as it’s a bit sweeter than the L’eau, and have stronger woody notes.
The L’eau makes a great first impression – I would (and will) definitely wear it to interviews. It’s uncomplicated, light, friendly and innoscent, very feminine, in a modern way – it could easily be worn by a bride on her wedding day.
I had been wanting this for a few weeks now. I was thinking to get either this or the intense version, as the EDP and EDT are… I think, a little sweet and waxy for me. I went with this, as the Intense one (which is in no way intense) is more medicinal, smoky and soapy, though I’m still very facinated by it, and probably going to get it at some point too, as it is too a skin-like, light, clean, but cozy perfume
Update: in holder weather, I can smell a tiiiiiiiny bit of mint and ylang-ylang in this – so interesting, especially because it’s not in the list of ingredients!

I purchased L’Eau blind hoping for a perfect summer scent, and it has exceeded my expectations. It’s quite sharp initially, but after about 15 minutes it becomes a creamy, very harmonious blend: not too floral, not too musky…just right. If you want to smell good, but not “perfumed”, this is a perfect choice. Stays close to the skin (which I sometimes prefer, like at work), but longevity on me is quite good. I can still detect it at the end of the day. Comparisons to SJP’s Lovely are somewhat accurate, but Lovely is very crisp and rather loud, while L’Eau is rounder and more erotic. The bottle is gorgeous.

Very fresh rose and not too sweet or boring. I got this in a mini coz I bought a full bottle of For Her EDT. I never thought rose could be this refreshing yet feminine and chic.
I may purchase a full bottle once my minis are gone.

This is a soft and feminine fragrance. To me it constantly smells light from the first spray till it settles to the skin, and it will stay there forever!

  42. :

It is a sparkling, joyful springtime scent. Carefree, light and longlasting. Reminds me of the dewy flowers, of walking barefoot on grass. Lily of the valley is present from the very start. So is a beautiful rose. They are not in full bloom yet. Peony adds to some crispiness and musk is creamy, round.
Overall a modern romantic perfume. Shame it is a limited version

  43. :

Love at first sniff! It is so smooth, lovely, soft, feminine creamy floral scent, less musky than previous version (EDP). I think of smooth blush silky scarf, something that every women should wear, so beautiful <3

  44. :

    4 out of 5

Gorgeously light, fresh, aquatic lily of the valley scent. I was gifted some samples today by a lovely colleague and this is my pick of the bunch. This is juicy and wet but fresh, it’s invigorating and I can easily imagine wearing this to the mountains on an icy winter’s day. I wouldn’t be unhappy to smell like this – I don’t get the similarity to Idylle, though. That one is far headier and sharper to my nose, whereas this ones dances in a delightfully light and circular way on my skin. Actually, I would put this more in line with L’Eau d’ Issey for freshness and vibe. Delightful lilies!

  45. :

    3 out of 5

This was a lily of the valley blast to my nose, with the softest and beautiful freshly picked flowers. Not too overwhelming, but soft and delicate and very feminine. It stays close to the skin, while it’s developing with the musk and powdery rose in the dry down. This scent is very innocent, clean, and airy. The longevity is poor and the sillage is weak, but this fragrance is worth to be reapply often, just to get the so-authentic lily of the valley scent in my nostrils! To me, this is very different from any to the other NR For Her creations.

  46. :

Smells like a beautiful sunlit garden in spring! Also slightly nostalgic of happy childhood days I feel. But it’s just that; very pretty. I would love my garden to smell like this but probably not for me to smell like this

This smells almost exactly like guerlain’s Idylle! It is a very feminine, elegant, flowery (Lilly of the valley mostly) scent. Perfect for spring 🙂

Yes, she is the ice queen, so cold and beautiful. I wish it didn’t melt that quick…

When i first tried it, in summer, it seemed a bit much. But now in our frigid canadian winter , I love it! The notes amplify, yet it remains fresh, floral, Beaufiful!! I love it!!
I found the black and pink NR too musty dry for me, but l’ Eau is wonderful..warm, smooth, beautiful creamy floral..I had Idylle and yes they might be a tad similar, but not so much in my opinion..

  50. :

    5 out of 5

On initial spray this was EXACTLY like guerlain idylle sublime. They both have this some kind of dry smokiness (but not the cigarette kind) I can’t explain. But where the smokiness in idylle sublime lasts even through the dry down, it gradually subsides in narciso l’eau.

  51. :

first impulse is strong Lily but about 10 minutes sitting on the skin and become one of them most beautiful feminine musky sweet peony scent apply. I love this one too like i love the EDP For her,,,,,,,,

  52. :

    5 out of 5

on my skin it opens very… extremely aquatic and somehow chemical. Really unpleasant.
After 15 minutes it settles down to a light flowery scent and after another 10 minuts it disappears.
I am so dissapointed. The original “for her” is beautiful but slightly too strong to me, so I blind bought l’eau believing it would be perfect for me.
Unfortunately this time it didn’t work.

  53. :

A lighter version of the EDT edition, this is a very pretty, light and fluffy fragrance. It has a fresh muskiness about it, such a pleasant fragrance. Very feminine. Absolutely gorgeous. Thumbs up for this one.

  54. :

First spray I didn’ t liked this version, too flowery and obvious; but after half an hour… I lost myself in this jardin made of less flowers and more warm something (maybe patchouly?), and so now I’ m going out to the shop to buy it!
I think it’ s more similar to the EDP than the EDT version, but it’ s a fresh, springly and captivating shape of both.

  55. :

    4 out of 5

Incredibly sultry to my nose. No, no, no! When my chemistry says ‘no’, I can’t help it.

  56. :

    3 out of 5

I sprayed For Her on one wrist and L’eau For Her on the other to compare and I’d have to say that this one is a fresher, more sparkly version than the original. It’s more springtime and bright. I don’t know why but I smell some fruitiness even though it isn’t listed as one of the notes? The sweetness in this is more emphasized and counter-balances the musk so that if you found For Her to be too musky, you might like this one more.
    I personally love them both.

  57. :

    5 out of 5

This is a scent that grows, sparkles on you. First impression is like a big, fresh, strong smelling flower bouquet with some dew on the petals (I feel the cyclamen and the peony with some aquatic notes). The jasmine is quite similar to the one I found in Alien by T.Mugler.
First you see that amazing bouquet as a whole universe, but then you start to distinguish every flower, the nuances, the shades, the notes. A wonderful amber rose, well rounded patchouli and musk gives the sensation of a warm, uplifting and very feminine scent. The-Lilly-of-the Valley is well balanced- not sickly sweet, but realistic, fresh and sophisticated. Like the first little, white flower bells opening in May under the protecting branches of the trees. Because of that the scent becomes slightly woody, but there’s no wood notes at all. The spring in a forest.
It reminds the Narciso Rodriguez in the black bottle, but just reminds. This one is more floral, less musky, more feminine, more romantic.
Expensive, unique, not for every woman. Won’t be lost in the crowd.
Update: The staying power is amazing. The scent has survived even after a shower gel. Stunning!

This smells incredibly similar to Ralph Lauren’s Romance, except Romance always came off as harsh whereas this is just right from the beginning all the way to the end. It’s mostly an aquatic floral with a bit of muskiness. Nice, but I don’t really find it particularly interesting.

Old time fave perfume, I’ve smelled a dozen of niche perfumes only this year that were inspired by this beauty! The muskiness stays on forever and ever and ever…

  61. :

No matter how much i tried and tried – I did not like any of Narciso Rodriguez edp and edt except for L’eau. L’eau is different and I don’t understand girls and guys how you compare it with the other Narciso perfumes. I simply smell no similarity. I would say it resembles more Allure Sensuelle by Chanel.
It is light but long lasting – I wake up enveloped by the soft powder and musk and something green. Lovely. I wish I could describe it better. It is sad that the best Narciso perfume is a limited edition…

  62. :

    4 out of 5

I submitted an earlier review on this scent on how much I LOVE it! While I do love, love, love the scent, the staying power on me is so poor, I can barely smell it 30 minutes after I apply it. I’ve asked other people around me if they can smell it and they also cannot smell it on me. I would love to find a scent that smells like this one but has a longer staying power. Does anyone have any suggestions????

Narciso Rodriguez made fresh for the summer. Basically the original mixed in the opening with what to me seems to be grapefruit, and it is even sourer than the original. The original has a very soft creamy sour edge quite balanced, but this one is grapefruit sour mostly in the opening. After the opening, it does remind me of Chloe. As much as I like the original, I am not at all fond of this one and do not even understand the point of making this. The staying power is very very poor.

    This is for member Nurul:
Narcisso L’eau is the right fragrance for a wedding day & I think it’s also elegant for a hot summer night too.

smells like grass in the first opening only to calm down as a very beautiful flowery scent. This one is one of the best floral fragrances for this year & sure worth buying.

This is a pretty summer version of NR for her. It’s likeable….reminds me of Sarah Jessica Parker’s Lovely but with a prominent Lilly of the valley dry down that I wasn’t crazy about. If you already have Lovely and/or you’re not much of a Lily of the valley fan, you won’t need this. Again, It’s nice enough but not worth the price tag in my opinion. I wouldn’t mind receiving it as a gift though.

I love Narciso “For Her” and I thought I would not fall in love just as much in his other scent but “l’eau” is amazing. Fresh, clean, sensual, with warm hints of rose and musk in the background. Unusual. My husband who does not pay attention to my various perfumes asked me about that scent and said that is beautiful.
    So…have fun and try.

I love, love, love this fragrance! While I like the original Narciso Rodriguez For Her, the Narciso Rodriguez l’Eau For Her Eau de Toilette just makes me HAPPY! A lot of the fragrances smell similar to me, but this fragrance smells very different, very unique, from any fragrance I’ve come across in a long time, and it smells wonderful! I haven’t had a signature fragrance in years, but have wanted one, and this one fits the bill for me!

i’ve smelled it in stores, i’ve tested the fragrance and now i’m kissing the bottle out of sheer happiness 🙂
The rosy/musky scent is so totally me. Just like Romance from Ralph Lauren.

It’s a rose in all it’s moods! In the morning, with the dewey drops, a bit later caressed by the sun and later on embraced by the cool evening. Absolutely beautiful! I wish everyone would wear it and make the world a better place. Amen!

Like Lovely! As in SJP Lovely.
The scents are identical. And lovely, both of them.
    Light, flowery, sparkling musks.

Picked this up at the duty free shop in Madrid yesterday. As I strolled past the display of NR scents I decided to spritz this one onto a strip. Got a strong “green/chypre” smell immediately, which didn’t grab me initally. I rubbed the strip on my arm and then proceeded on to check out some other scents. After finding nothing I couldn’t live without, I happened to brush my hair out of my face and caught a whiff of what I had rubbed on my arm earlier. Wow! The chypre smell was still there, but now I smelled alot more floral – lily of the valley, rose, jasmine, peony – with maybe a very delicate hint of something secretive and musky hiding in the background. It tantalized me enough to decide to quickly purchase a bottle before boarding my flight.
12 hours later I arrived home exhausted and was ready for bed – but not before quickly opening my little “treasure” and spritzing it on to see if was the same lovely scent I remembered. Just as before, the inital wave was a strong fresh, green/chypre scent. By the time I got in bed it had once again toned down and those gorgeous floral scents were coming through. I fell asleep immediately and dreamed of wandering in an exotic garden paradise filled with lush greenery and fresh, crisp flowers. Everytime I would roll over the scent would envelop me again. By the time I awakened hours later, the scent was much fainter, but definitely still there. Only now the green was more in the background and the romantic florals were taking center stage in a still fresh, yet lighter, slightly powdery fashion.
Put some more on and wore it the rest of the day. The man behind me in the bank remarked on how nice I smelled. My husband – who never notices any scent I wear – asked what I was wearing. I am VERY happy that I decided to pick this bottle up. To me it is absolutely the perfect scent for announcing the beginning of spring and will carry over well into the summer. It is light – yet heavy with freshness, if that makes any sense. It has a slow sensuality that sneaks up and suprises you. I think it’s got the flexibility of being able to be worn casually while out with friends or on a romantic date. Love it! Can’t stop smelling my arm! The only downside is that I foresee this one becoming pretty popular – and then I will no longer be the only one around here who smells this nice!

Yes, there is a prominent lily which can be easily detected, but L’Eau has still the spirit of the original NR (EDP). Its a softer, smoother version of original NR with a lily-of-the-valley note added to the composition. Personally I am not much into the lily note, but I would consider to buy a full bottle for myself one day. I really love the simplicity and colors of the NR bottles..

l’eau is a very good perfume, BUT i do not understand why all these narciso bottles look so similar? Do they do not understand customers psychology? i personally get really annoyed and confused with similar looking pink/ black bottles and very small letters on the bottles (eau, l’eau, eau de toilette), do they think we cannot handle variety? they all look like a bricks, not customer friendly at all, sorry me critisizing, also this girl with no expression on her face on the poster looks plain boring, she does not reflect the smell at all neither. Perfume itself is glamorous and very interesting (l’eau) , i will definitely will buy it when i will get rich, but they have to get some attractive bottles for theirs presious liquids, you cannot just pour luxury product into milk bottles.

For me it smells very differnt from the original and is domitated – head to base – by lily of the valley, yet not in an overpowerig way. The longer it lasts, the nicer it gets, as it becomes powdery, musky and softer. It is the one of his fragrances that “dares” a bit more than

Narciso Rodriguez L'Eau For Her Narciso Rodriguez
