Description

Young and very modern American designer of Cuban origins Narciso Rodriguez has launched his first fragrances which has instantly become the hit in the US, and not only there. The new modern aroma is aimed at the modern and free woman, who is aware of her sexuality. Popularity of this fragrance (regardless of its unusual composition and a heavy character, and perhaps exactly because of that) is easy to explain because it reflects a desire of every woman to attract and seduce, and this fragrance has openly sexual character. Unusual lustful composition is created with the sensual musk in its centre, surrounded by orange, osmanthus and amber. The base unites vanilla, amber and vetiver. Intensive sharp scent with hidden and scarcely discernible densely-sweet nuance in the centre later turns into a soft and balmy powder. The aggression disappears and the fragrance becomes tame and gentle.

At first, in 2004 it was launched as EDT in a black bottle in pink outer box. Then in 2006 the EDP was created in a pink bottle and black outer box. The composition was changed, despite the fact that the musk note has remained in the centre of the composition. EDP has rose note in the top. The trace has become more mysterious and rich, thanks to exotic woods – patchouli and sandalwood. Both variances of the fragrance can be described as floral chypre with intensive musk nuance, only the first one is sharper and more aggressive, while the second one is sweeter and softer. The creators of these fragrances are Christine Nagel and Francis Kurkdjian.

Narciso Rodriguez For Her was launched in 2003.

Being that the olfactory sense is so subjective, it’s amazing to see how completely different one person can experience a fragrance to another. There are so many factors that go into one appreciating a scent, or hating it; who they think it’s suitable for, what it reminds them of etc. There are some fragrances that seem to be more commonly thought of in the same way ie. Angel (love or hate), Chanel no 5 (mature ladies, grannies), Shalamar (wth IS that one!). It’s only recently that I discovered to my absolute disbelief and amazement, that people are commonly offended by musk! To me, fragrances that are enveloped in musk are wonderfully warm, cozy, sexy, feminine, sofisticated, fun, even fresh.
I’ve been wearing this fragrance for years, and when I went to the department store today to visit the other Narciso sisters, the middle aged European woman behind the counter was HORRIFIED that this was my signature scent. “You’re too young and gentle for this fragrance!, I can see your skin on your chest is blotchy from spraying this one, your skin is too fair! Come, let me show you black opium and this lovely one from juicy Couture, it is good for you” I couldn’t help but laugh and say “I hate juicy contour! This is my favourite frangrance ever!” Keep in mind, I just turned 34 so she was putting Narciso with 60 year olds I’m sure. Like anything, wear what you like. Wear what makes you feel good about yourself! Wear juicy couture when you’re 80 and don’t apologize for it.
I read reviews on this fragrance and some are close to my experiences, some are so different it’s like we’re on different planets. For me, this lasts all day and night on my skin. It’s not soapy in my opinion, or very sweet. It’s a combo of warm warm beautiful musk, a touch of orange blossom, and a dash of creamy flowers. It’s perfect for any age, day or night, wherever the wearer wants to wear it. It’s a masterpiece.

I blind bought this and I have to say, I will never do that again. I really dislike this fragrance. I’m in my early twenties and see this more fitting for 40’s and older. Not to say I wouldn’t like this fragrance on someone else but for me it’s just too strong. Longevity is out of this world though so that’s a plus if you like this fragrance.

Either this is very weak or I am anosmic to this scent. I barely smell it 10-20 min after spraying. I have to put my nose right on my skin to get the scent. Then it stay a skin scent for a couple of hrs then nothing at all. This is rare for me.i am usually able to smell my fragrances on myself. Perfumes usually last and project on me.
The scent I do smell is just okay. Nothing I would run out and buy but will try to finish my bottle. I absolutely love Narciso by Narciso and Narciso Poudree!!

Narciso Rodriguez for Her edt is a soapy light musk with rose. Reminds me of a freshly laundered starched shirt. There is an initial “chemical” phase I have to get past for up to an hour before the real scent emerges. Despite being an edt, this fragrance lasts well on me, but subtle. Signature-worthy, classic scent suited to all occasions and seasons.

After no more than an hour this sits very close to the skin. It’s only by pressing my nose to the area sprayed that I can smell it at all. Sillage seems good initially, but it dies down. I asked my friend if she could smell it on me and the answer was no, she hadn’t realized I was wearing perfume at all. It’s a very soft cozy scent, like a gentle, quiet, woman wrapped in a soft cardigan. I don’t see the relation to power or suits at all. It’s comforting more than sexy.

this is a particular wonder of the female world. A brilliant arrangement of musk and amber, Osmanthus and orange blossom.
Narciso Rodriguez for her is a perfect pentagram for the hand of a great composer:
    Howard Shore.
    SEDUCTIVE.
    Analysis: 8/10

When I die a bottle of this is coming with me to heaven. Thats all I need to say about how much I love this.

Hmm… a subtle scent, a mix of what smells like rose and a very gentle orange, which then becomes like peach to me. This perfume smells like a warm, fuzzy, peach. I don’t get any vanilla at all, just that warm, rosy, peachiness, and yes, musky. It lingers on the skin too, even after washing. I see it as a scent for women over thirty five or forty to be honest, and that’s not meant in any sort of disparaging way, it’s just a very mature scent. I feel it would suit a mature woman best. It’s lovely, but not really for me. At least not yet.

  9. :

This fragrance is deeper than in the pink bottle. I would prefer this one. But it’s musky, too.

For some reason this perfume made me feel very odd and unwell. I gave it a second and third chance after a period of weeks and months each time, just in case it wasn’t the perfume itself, but no – something about it just doesn’t agree with me. I bought it from Boots so I’m almost certain it’s not a fake but the scent alone, even if I think I detect it on other people, now makes me uneasy and uncomfortable. It’s incredibly light and subtle (almost undetectable unless a good few sprays are used) and smells more like a fabric detergent but, even so, I just can’t use it anymore.

Over the years this perfume has been changed so much… now it’s a pleasant rose- musk fragrance with amber, but in 2004 was stunning, really. A pity.

It is beautiful! Very feminine, this brand is the ONLY brand that makes me love and appreciate musk. Yes it does share the same DNA as ‘Lovely’ by SJP but Lovely is more subtle, ‘For Her’ is more there, you feel it’s presence throughout your day. I sprayed once last night after my shower and went to bed to see how it would react against the twists and the turns due to me sleeping so ugly lol and it was there keeping me company until I woke up this morning, so I am wearing it again today to see how it last at work, been 3 hours so far and it smells as if I just sprayed it on. I don’t mind having both at all because I can differentiate their differences and similarities so that way, I can wear the one I believe fits the occasion I plan to attend.

Loved this for a while but thought too expensive. Finally found it with a discount in John Lewis in London and had to buy it. Now after 1 day I realized why it smelled so familiar. Smells like Guerlain’s Idylle.

It is perfect. The note pyramid pretty much sums it up. It’s clean musk and orange blossom together with fruity osmanthus that’s opened by bergamot. It’s juicy, clean, fuzzy, warm and enveloping. There is a calmness to it. It becomes one with my energy rather than sitting upon me like a thick cloud. I feel secure and self aware when I wear it. A friend described it as delicious, which I agree with. There’s a facet to it that comes across as candy floss mingled in with the musk and osmanthus. It’s like a haze when smelled from afar that gives off the impression of something pink and sweet, like candy or bubblegum. My hunch is it’s osmanthus playing with vanilla doing this. Still, even after the release of the white, black, beige and red cubes, this one remains my favorite NR and one of my favorite perfumes of all time.

The initial sprays are like warm floral mists of strong femininity and the drydown of this fragrance is a mixture of florals and musk that is simply divine.
This is a beautiful, full-bodied, long-lasting fragrance that I currently love to wear to the office. During the work day, it provides me confirmation of my abilities as well as a comforting scent bubble should I need a time out.

  16. :

This is an incredible scent that trails behind you and turns heads as you walk past. It’s beautiful, flowery, a little sweet but soft at the same time. I’ve never liked musk, so this is my first perfume with a strong musk note but I love it and it doesn’t bother me. I think the fragrance can easily sit among other iconic and classic perfumes like Chanel no.5, Dior but have its own place at the same time.
My boyfriend bought it for me as a present when I landed my first executive job. “For Her” is definitely a fragrance for ladies above 25, it’s confident and beautiful *`~

This is a scent that I have such strong memories and associations with. I wore it exclusively for a couple of years and when I smell it now, I am taken back to those days. To wear it again now would be like pulling part of my past into my present. I still love it and I hope to make it new to me again.

The definition of sexiness, after trying a lot of sweet, fruity, floral the other female perfumes, i’ve tried Narciso Rodriguez for her, from the first sniff i knew it was the perfume of confidence, seduction, alluring, attention grabbing and power. I’ve never wore women’s perfume before. I am a 20 years old guy & i bought a full size bottle for myself. Note: in my opinion, Narciso for her edt(the blck bottle) is sexier than the edp(baby pink bottle), amazing job Narciso, a sexual appealing perfume.

My favorite Francis Kirkdjian creation! Clean white musk on top of patchouli, amber and white florals. Incredibly beautiful. My 150ml bottle is almost empty! If I could wear it till the last day of my life, I would!

OMG….. it lasts on my skin for more that 12 hours….I was shocked :/// O really was. I have the sample and I really love the scent. It s very womanly and strong. I have to buy a full bottle 🙂

I used to really like to wear this in the fall season… I like Lovely too…but lately it’s been giving me headaches. Ugh damn my sensitive brain. I swear I smell something akin to lavender. Anyway, a real shame for me. A very nice scent, if you don’t want to pay so much Lovely is comparable. The black bottle ( edt) is superior imo to the pink one( edp)/

    My ABSOLUTE SIGNATURE perfume.
This smells like roses but not the powdery ones instead the juicy rose fragrance. I can easily wear this both as a day perfume and an evening date scent or to party.
According to me it’s one of the best scents in the market and beautifully mixed accords.
    LOVE LOVE LOVE !

After reading the many raving reviews I was desperate to try this. As a musk lover, I almost went ahead and bought a large bottle thinking I was bound to love it, but in the end I just ordered a sample. What a good decision this was. I CANT SMELL IT! I’d read a few reviews saying they were anosmic to NR for her but I never thought I’d be one of the unlucky ones! I know musk can be tricky for some people, but musk is my thing! I have no difficulty even smelling undiluted synthetic musks and have never been anosmic to anything before. I am shocked, and so sad I can’t smell it. Does anyone know what musks were used in the composition? What I do get is a very faint citrus and grape juice scent. That’s it. Will try a sample of the EDP.

Man I wish I liked it cause this REALLY stays… On some people this smells super classy and sexy but on me it smells like a combination of an old lady’s hairspray and nail polish remover. God bless chemistry.

  25. :

    3 out of 5

I have to be anosmic to this stuff, cause there’s no way that what I’m getting can be totally off from what thousands of other people have said. People compare this and the EDP to Sarah Jessica Parker Lovely, saying this has more depth, it’s the more deeper/darker version. The only thing that’s darker is the color of the bottle in my honest opinion. They smell exactly the same, there’s no extra depth. Like that one I get just a watery simple musk with nothing else. No patchouli, no rose, no florals. Moderate projection and longevity. Disappointed but I have found a NR that I love so no hard feelings.

    4 out of 5

this review starts as a review of Lovely by Sarah Jessica Parker – didn’t want to rephrase and retype everything as I reviewed and compared both fragrances:

Now, Lovely is a perfume I want to describe in detail as for now this is my signature scent and one of the best things I have ever smelled in my life.
I wanted this perfume for so long, but having a full bottle of Narciso Rodriguez For Her EDT (black bottle) made me question whether I needed this or not – since so many people describe them as almost identical.
Now, I got a 50ml bottle of Lovely at Shoppers on a final sale for 20 CAD$ – unbeatable price. My 100 ml bottle of Narciso was something like 130 CAD$ although I bought it on a day with a lot of promotions in Milan (my hometown) so I got a bunch of free gifts with it.
Nonetheless, I am convinced that it is absolutely worth having both.
Some people describe Lovely as the cheaper version of NR. It’s not.
Lovely is a sophisticated fragrance, one that makes me feel elegant, fresh (not in an aquatic or citrus way, nor in a soapy way), beautiful, lovely.
This is absolutely appropriate for everything. I find it absolutely amazing.
There are differences with Narciso, such as the spicy notes, the lavender, and something very aromatic.
Narciso is more musky, I get some floral notes, and it smells overall sweeter to me. I love love love Narciso, but at the same time I will always love and defend Lovely because I strongly disagree that this is a cheap Narciso version.
Narciso is, just like Lovely, an incredibly feminine, delicate, sophisticated fragrance. I love it.
I am in love with this fragrance (Lovely) and the price is unbeatable. (don’t buy it from the official site – it’s a rip off considering you can buy this on resale or in drugmarts for less than 20 USD).

I agree with previous reviewers – NR for her is a long lasting fragrance with a lot to recommend it. Put it this way, it outlasted my bath and is still going strong!
Orange flower and patchouli seem the most prominent top notes to me, but I also smell a bit of jasmine and further on a LOT of earthiness.
And quite likely, Iso-E Super! The latter has three distinctive elements that come to mind. It makes fragrances strong and wonderfully persistent. And it makes things smell modern, by default, as it is a (fairly) modern aroma chemical. Further, to my nose, a dominant usage makes for an overall masculine association, as it’s commonly used in men’s cologne.
This last is the main reason I dislike NR for myself, that and the metallic aroma of Iso E on my skin. Though I have learned to like one or two fragrances with dominant Iso E, so I try to keep an open mind. Sometimes what we initially distrust becomes what we crave, as I have only too many reasons to know!
For the time being, NR is not on my want list. But I admire her, strong, unsweetened, and long lasting as she is. Only too few mainstream designer scents released have these qualities, therefore meriting the purchase of a full bottle.
NR may well be worth your money – she has guts!

I have reviewed this already but i am reading all these comments about poor longevity…
Put it this way, when i tried this and the pink bottle,i thought THIS was the edp!
I went through 2 bottles of this stuff over about 4 years, it was my signature nighttime scent when i was younger and liked to party lol. ide spray it late in the afternoon and it would hold strong till at least the next day
    with no reapplication necessary.
    Im one of the lucky ones that gets the beauty of musk, rather than it turning skanky and yucky so its always been a favorite of mine,along with jasmine, which is another high note i get from this. I loved the edp when it first came out as well but nowadays i smell it on just about everyone so ive kind of outgrown it. And i never replaced my black bottle because i sort of just outgrew this one too, im into more unisex, less sweet scents now but i will say this;
If youre in the market for a musky white floral, this is one of THE best, good quality ingredients and intense lasting power

  29. :

    5 out of 5

I like this but find it a little linear, so don’t wear it a lot. It is workplace friendly and versatile however, in terms of age and occasion. Gender maybe not so much; I do find it feminine, in keeping with its name.
The main note to me after a short while is the Ambroxan, but this is a note I really like, which is just as well as it lasts for many days! Hence it will linger on my clothing for a long time, and this is a funny pleasure I have with this fragrance. I will pass by a jacket hanging in my hallway, along with other jackets and coats, and catch a heavenly whiff as I pass by. On closer investigation it will be the ambroxan in the fabric. Ambroxan is sort of papery and dry rather than sweet, but this drydown will also have a trace of the (non gourmandy) sweetness mixed into it, really pleasant! So the strange thing I almost enjoy it more off me, than on me, if that makes sense.

  30. :

    5 out of 5

Unlike the Narciso Rodriguez For Her EDP (the one in the TALL Blush Pink bottle that has an overly strong musk), this EDT version (in the TALL Black bottle) performed beautifully on me with warm and CREAMY musk, amber, patchouli and floral notes combined. I think vetiver and osmanthus play very important roles here. Vetiver “freshens”, while osmanthus “rounds” and “sweetens” musk and amber. The whole composition dried down to a beautifully and lightly sweet “orange blossom” scent which worked out perfectly with my chemistry. It somehow slightly reminded me of Kat Von D Sinner which I really LOVE. But Kat Von D is much sweeter.
I also tested Sarah Jessica Parker Lovely Body Spray/Mist, and compared with this one, they both smelled IDENTICAL. However, when I tried Lovely EDP (the bottle that was released awhile ago) on my skin, I got mostly just a strong scent of lavender out of it (which is not my preferred scent in perfume). However, the “newer” released bottle of Lovely smells more like this one. Very strange! And I don’t know if Lovely has been “reformulated”.

I’m going through a gift set of small purse sized bottles.
I’m getting it now- ALL Narciso’s have that same DNA with slight differences.
The EDPs last longer than the EDTs– so note that.
Upon investigation – you may only need ONE Narciso in your collection- so read up and decide.
*Many of them are alike* . In a way they remind me of MUGLER flankers of Alien and Angel – same noticeable (STRONG!) DNA–with a few “twists” to make them seem different .
This one is great, only not very much on longevity .
If you are in T.J. Maxx / Marshalls / any discount venue in general — and spot a 1.7 oz. Narciso for $29.99 – snatch it up !!
I think they are a safe “blind buy” …. just beware they are very feminine and “perfumey”. Some people find them a bit “screechy”. I like LOUD scents– so you can’t screech too much for me!

This is for timeless classic classy lady-boss, who is wise and sharp. High in confidence, calm and matured. The downside is that i realized this causes breakouts and whiteheads on my jawline area because i spritz my perfume on my neck but it is definetly unique and memorable scent.

  33. :

    5 out of 5

The orange blossom in the opening reminds me of my recent trip to Rome–on my way to and from the metro station, I’d walk by a row of orange trees in bloom near the Baths of Diocletian. It was mid-April, and very sunny and warm, so the trees had the delicate white blossoms and juicy orange fruits at the same time. I’d walk past, and a gentle breeze would blow past, and the scent of orange blossom would wash over me. I think the opening of Narciso for Her does a good job of capturing that, and I enjoy being reminded of that specific aspect of my trip.

  34. :

    4 out of 5

*EDIT Winter only. It smells like urine in the summer!
I agree. This does smell like clean skin! At first, I thought it smelled like essential oil infused soap or dated cologne, but I was so wrong! It warms up beautifully on the skin and becomes such a soft relaxing scent. I don’t find this provocative or flirty. It would take an unconventional man with good taste to find it seducing. It is inherently sensual in the sense that it smells like someone who just showered lying naked on white cotton sheets in a breezy dimmed room. I think the advertisement is spot on with this! They really caught the essence of the perfume with the innocent looking model, yet obviously wearing nothing but NR edt and her soft skin.
It is long lasting (9-10 hours) but I am yet to find a perfume with excellent projection on me. *Sighs.
I don’t know what musk smells like, but I get a muted soap-like smell throughout the whole perfume plus something animalic, so I’m guessing that’s it. I read that some people are anosmic to musk. I’m so glad I’m not yay! The dry down is heavenly although I can’t detect most of the listed notes, I do get vanilla and a warm deep smell (probably the amber).
Wear this if you’re a classy girl who might seem aloof to some, but is perfectly charming to those who dare to come closer.

I’m interested in a fragrance that says “I want you”.It’s the moonlight the fragrance of the night it overwhelms me. A fragrance of seduction that nobody can reject.

A classy calm elegant feminine scent , so attractive and best to be worn by mature ladies over 30s .. it reminds me somehow of ” Pierre Cardin Rose “

  37. :

If you love musky scents, you will love this. The African orange flower and musk are very distinct throughout the whole experience. Musk sitting on a bed of smooth white florals. The opaque bottle somehow describes this perfume perfectly. It reminds me of Tocca Cleopatra, except with white florals replacing the blackcurrant. While Cleopatra is warm and sensual, Narciso is much more cold and slender. I can’t really see NR as a seductive fragrance like Cleopatra. NR is much calmer and less temperamental. It is perfect for a strong, confident and feminine woman in her twenties.

  38. :

    3 out of 5

Perfect, it fits into the climate of modern chypres. Light and modern, I do not know the EDP version. But I know L’eau in a bright pink bottle, just as great. Like not 1 star better. There is no heaviness is lightness! Femininity, but in a modern edition.

  39. :

    4 out of 5

Yes, I admit to being a bit of a scent-snob. And I think that is changing, fast! Mainstream fragrances usually don’t do much for me. (Gimme vintage or niche, high-end designer, please!)
But… whoa! I didn’t discover NR until recently (head in the clouds, as usual) and I can’t stop wearing her. This is truly one of the most beautiful scents ever, bar none. The musk is sweet and true, clean and elegant. The florals are done deftly, with purpose. This edt wafts up from the body in heavenly sexy waves. Like a ‘nice’ girl who has her naughty moments.
Great sillage and long-lasting, I’m so glad I finally discovered this pretty lady.

Is it permissible to say here that I am selling my 30ml in box. I bought got it New from m Sephora about four months ago and sprayed it a handful of times. I live the concept of the Egyptian musk and the reference to Caroline Besset Kennedy, but for some reason I feel suffocated by it. And I adore powerful scents. I much prefer Lovely which is same concept but sheer. Happy to find a good home for this little guy

I owned a full bottle of the pink NR for Her EDP; I used it up very quickly because, although I enjoyed the scent very much, it didn’t last on my skin. Actually I thought it didn’t last, but now I realise I was probably anosmic to some of its components (and probably killing everyone around me wearing ten sprays of the EDP and constantly reapplying whilst complaining how weak it was!!) So I thought I would have the same problem with the EDT – but, amazingly, I don’t. In fact, a single spritz of the EDT lasts no less than 8 hours on my skin and smells amazing throughout. In comparison to its EDP version, I don’t think that the EDT is ‘sharper’ – to me, it’s all about fresh flowers with amber and musk. Although rose and lily-of-the-valley are not listed among its notes, I swear to god that they’re there! Anyway I’ve put NR for Her EDT on my small wish list, alongside Nasomatto Blamage and Carolina Herrera Good Girl – these are three scents that I will purchase in 2018.

Beautiful opening, like a scent you can relax into and sigh with contentment. The osmanthus note is gorgeous — fruity and bright, a perfect marriage with the bergamot. However, this stays very linear all day and then turns a bit sour on my skin. It was difficult to wash off when I got tired of smelling it. I love the spare minimalism of the bottle.

This fragrance smells flat out sexy to me. I think it is due to the musk! I feel seductive and alluring while wearing it.it is definitely a confidence booster for me. I haven’t worn it enough to figure out if others feel the same way I do about it.oh well. I think this fragrance rocks and that is all that really matters. 😉

Narciso rodriguez… thank you to everyone who helped in this original art… NR feels like you finally found home. I have no words to describe how comforting how safe and strong this makes you feel. This is how I want to smell and feel forever. I love this perfume from my heart.. a true art.

  46. :

Narciso Rodriguez nailed it, this perfume is a gem. I don’t smell the musk as much, mostly orange blossom rounded with some amber and vanille. It somehow reminds me of Houbigant Orangers en Fleurs. Excellent longevity. I’m in heaven.

Not a big fan of this one. Not that it is bad, it is jut not my thing. it smells too mature for me.
The opening is fruity and sweet, later i smell a light smokiness and later the orange blossom. Somewhere in the development, it starts to stink. It is not really bad, but i can’t deny it disturbs me. later i can smell something soapy.
I find it a bit dated.
I think, for a date, this one is a bit too serious, but if you like dark musky fragrances, go for it!

SExy bold fragrance!!! More masculine and youthful than the edp version, as the edp has peach I’m not into it!! The edp is an older and more modest version of this one!
The longevity is perfect, has nothing to deal with the fact being edt.
    Love it!!

beautiful smell, its just getting better with time.
I bought mine in the summer and kept it for fall/winter and now I’m enjoying it very much and it could actually work also in the spring maybe even summer. it stays for very long on the skin and forever on clothes and every time I get a vibe of it on me I keep thinking how beautiful it smells. its semi sweet and fresh and so elegant it is love to me.

Reminds me of Lovely by SJP. Nice scent but not my favorite.

Very nice. I get the love this one’s been receiving as it really is a pretty musky scent, to me it smells like a rose scented hand cream (i just saw that there are no roses in this, wow). Don’t find it sexy but polite, office friendly, kind of clean and perhaps romantic would be a fitting description. The bottle is good quality, heavy and opaque, although I find there’s nothing dark in this fragrance what so ever, so the colour of the bottle might be a bit misleading. This is scent-wise totally my style, but unfortunately the longevity and sillage are terrible on my skin, and I’m a woman who really doesn’t mind soft fragrances, and even to me, this is too mild and soft, lasts pretty much an hour. But I must admit that it does smell beautiful, and it doesn’t offend anyone.
EDIT: I’m so mad, this is basically a bottle of water, lasts about 5 minutes, i mean I know it’s an EDT but stil… I expected more from NR based on these reviews.
Second EDIT: Okaaaay, I get compliments from strangers all the time, which never happened before, so I guess it’s only me who can’t smell this on myself.

This is not a safe purchase, I almost blindbought it because of its hight popularity and fortunately I didn’t, there is something bitter or dirty in it that holds me back, I really wanted to like it and I even gave it a couple of chances but nope, definitely not for me.

I prefer this over the edp version for an edt this totally is amazing and for me lasts longer than the some edp’s. I love the way this opens at first it’s kinda sharp but then the white flowers come in and they smell so good! I love musky florals and own a few of Narcisco’s scents. This truley amaze me it’s just beautiful I love this fragrance!

I really shouldnt like this perfume,. I don’t like musk and I don’t like orange blossom but I really love this perfume. I like to wear it on evenings out as to my nose it has a subtle spicyness. I used to be an Opium, Obsession and Coco Chanel wearer but as I get older I am finding my old favorites too heady and strong. This is a perfect replacement!

NR For Her is definitely a perfume that has it all written in its DNA that is not for everyone, not because the scent is bad itself but because this is a ”naughty” fragrance that has got a very independent character and acts differently in different people. To some this is pure musc heaven, a particular fragrance with a twist and an ever changing character. To some others is a non-descript fragrance that smells as harsh as tyres and whose beauty is really hard to find. Well, I was part of the second group before I personally tested it myself and finally realised that it’s true For her EDT is not for everyone but if you find that it’s for you than never leave it. The perfume is so intrigueing that I can’t even explain it with words. The only thing that I can tell for sure because I remember it very clearly is that I couldn’t stop smelling my wrist and my jacket sleeve for the whole day during a trip I took to Milan. And there’s more to it, the more I smelt the more inviting the perfume got and it changed continously but at the same time it remained the same, I mean I could perfectly notice its DNA but everytime I smelt my wrist it presented itself with different facets and angles that it was never the same and ever changing. This perfume is able to trick you in subtle ways that you don’t even realize. It wears its mask and then reveals its true nature which is different for each one of us as we are all different in our characters, the way we perceive and live our lives but I think that’s the trick of this scent – it melts with us and embodies our nature whoever we choose to be, it has no prejudices, or at least not if you have them.
And please don’t make me talk about its ad campaign with that pose in black and white of Carmen Kass that has and will forever eternalise her. The picture of her is pure art more than just a perfume ad. I can’t help but adore it at maximum and think how classic and modern this perfume is.

Very feminine. Some type of woman in her 20’s.
It’s a great fruity, floral fragrance, very likeble, wearable, youthful, and feminine.
I can’t give any in depth review of this since this fragrance is so well-blended. Maybe it’s the osmanthus that’s making it fruity? (I don’t even know what osmanthus smells like, but I’ve been told many times that it has a fruity peach/apricot smell). Maybe it’s the orange blossom that’s making it floral??, And the musk helped the two notes stir together for a homogeneous result?? I don’t even think I detect any musk in here. But all I know is that it’s a very pleasant, feminine fruity floral fragrance.
It’s too feminine for my liking, but It’s very pleasant.
    7.4/10
