Description

Miu Miu presents Miu Miu L’Eau Rosée in early 2018, as a flanker of the original Miu Miu fragrance from 2015.

“Created by perfumer Daniela Andrier, the juice is a soft floral created from lily of the valley and cassis buds, tightly wrapped in notes of sophisticated musk. The effect is freshness encapsulated. As its name suggests, L’Eau Rosée is dewy and alive, a brand new olfactory chapter that stays true to the youthful yet erudite Miu Miu story.”

It is available as a 30, 50 and 100 ml EDT.

Miu Miu L’Eau Rosée was created by Daniela (Roche) Andrier and Pierre Aulas.

Well this smells nothing like the original Miu Miu to my nose. At first blast, Miu Miu L’Eau Rose for me starts off a creamy rose, but literally only at first blast. Then this immediately settles for me to a soapy fresh scent. I can’t really pick up specific notes very much, maybe a super light citrus and an even lighter rose and green note; but all in all this is a light fresh scent to me, very nice in the heat and humidity that we have here in the Summer. However, longevity is not here for me, this poofs in less than half an hour, with super soft sillage to begin with. Bummer. I suppose I could get the travel spray to carry around with me to refresh as the day goes on, but in the Summer, I can’t really be bothered with having to refresh my perfume every half hour. So to that end, this performs like a body mist for me..in a prettier bottle.

The combination of peonies and lily of the valley gives this fragrance a dewy floral vibe. In one way this is a modern 21st century scent but with a unique vintage twist.

I got a sample with my Sephora play box also. I get lot of peony which is one of my favorite florals so that was nice and rose here is not stark medicinal kind. I think its a nice fresh floral that seems rather youthful. I am not really into florals so its nice if you are into that sort of thing. Its a bit common smelling and I am pretty sure I smelled similar scents before, but as far as fresh florals go, its nice if not ground breaking

I got a sample of this in a Sephora Play! box this month; I love rose perfumes, so naturally I was very curious about this one. I really like Miu Miu, so this flanker did not disappoint. I get the freshness and the green-ness; the lily of the valley co-stars with the rose. It is a very pleasant warm weather fragrance; it isn’t overpowering in the least.
Unfortunately, the scent doesn’t last long either. About 4 hours tops and there’s no trace of it left. It’s a shame, because it’s a sweet, romantic, light take on a rose scent that, with a little more intensity and longevity, could have been a full-bottle contender.

    Wearing a sample today!
Light, rosey, really leaning heavily on the sparkly peony top notes.
This is part of a whole fleet of peony-forward light fragrances that have come out in the last few years.
One might say that peony is the pumpkin spice of fragrances these days. I mean… it’s basic. It’s Becky. It’s everywhere. But regardless of what you think of its ubiquity, it’s popular because it smells pretty good. So if you like it, you like it.
It’s enjoyable but utterly forgettable. Fun and light, without enough personality to really love it or hate it.
I’ll use up my sample, but this really does smell like every other mainstream release of the last couple of years.

I got a sample of this last night and applied it this morning. It opens very fresh and sparkly rose on my skin and quickly dries down to something more akin to a creamy floral second skin. I really am not familiar with lily of the valley, and that may be what I’m smelling…not sure! It’s sweet (in a floral way) and definitely growing on me. I may purchase this for myself as a Mother’s Day treat…I really like it and the bottle is so pretty too! Longevity seems good.
Edit: It’s a few days later and my boyfriend got a whiff of this on me and said, “Now THAT’s peppery!” Ummm…wait…what?!? I guess I didn’t recognize the peppery aspect of the flowers. Regardless, I’m still a fan of this scent!
Edit again: I got a new sample of this from Sephora, because I really wanted to be sure before purchasing and I’m now getting a lot of pepper. It’s really too much for my taste, but I love the opening. Bottom line, this perfume vaguely reminds me of Anais Anais but with pepper.

The opening of this is amazing. I love it so much. But after the top note fades I’m not sure how I feel about this. I almost bought it but I asked for a sample instead. I’m going to wear this over the next few days and form my opinion.

You have here a pretty scent, like the nose knows how to create! Feminine rose scent, I petsonnally don’t find it spicy, or peppery..it is fresh and smooth, dewy sweet almost.without being overwelmigly old fashioned ..like rose scents can be at times..on a spring day, this is lovely..I don’t know what else to say, this is pleasant and elegant..and develops nicely from fresh floral to softer and warm..it isn’t fleeting, it is a solid nice perfume with nice longevity.

Well I like it!!! Green opening. Peppery rose, different and different is good!! Alas I have a few rose perfumes in my collection so I guess I’ll pass. Oh really!!?? Who am kidding I have to at least get a rollerball..!

I love the rose note in this but overall this is far too peppery for me. It’s a spicy rose without the softness I prefer.

This just vanishes, smells lovely and fresh rose is beautiful and peony, it just disappears to a skin scent most certainly not worth the money for the way it projects.
Reminds me of a deodorant freshness and you have to have your nose pressed again you’re skin to smell it within 30 minutes just no projection and development is merely gone within 45 minutes to an hour.
The toilette does not command the price tag

I got a travel size spray and like others have said I do smell peaches and roses but in a fresh way. My clothes and hair smell lovely and the smell stays. On my skin after a few hours it’s close to the skin so it doesn’t project much. Overall a very nice fresh fragrance that gives you the I just got out of the shower soapy quality.

Sweet and sour. Spring-like and nice. Fresh also. I like it!

Original mix miu + peony. Gentle, innocent, young. If you like Diorissimo, Dolche by DG you probably will like this one.

Utterly chemical lily-of-the-valley, peony and musk. Similar to the previous editions in differently colored bottles.

I just got my first whiff of this a few days ago. I’m a huge fan of the two previous Miu Miu perfumes – I think they’re modern masterpieces of adult-smelling “grown up” perfumes for young women that aren’t just fluffy or trivial. I was not sure what to expect with this, but fortunately they’ve kept that fascinating signature of peppery wood in the composition with just a blush of rose at the top. It’s lovely, transparent perfume with a really sophisticated arrangement of muguet and sandalwood. All put together with a light touch, just enough of a statement to be noticed. L’eau Rosée stands out from the crowd because it’s a grown-up pretty, not bashful or silly. A young woman’s rose perfume. Beautifully done.

So i just got this fragrance today and I have nothing bad to say about it at all its very light weight but doesn’t last too well on my skin, its very green smelling, I’ll probably be returning as it doesn’t really do anything for me, its just one of those smells thats just kind of there, I dont find anything mesmerising or delicious about it

    Hello armidalowe
As long as you have a nose and spirit to guide your opinion you have a right to your own opinion. I loved your review on this! Thank you.
This fragrance looks beautiful pink is the focus colour this year. It’s not just any pink. It’s my favourite perfectly pink-pink!
I am intrigued… looks and sounds beautiful with a twist.

It is a brisk cold winter night and I am wearing the new Miu Miu. I don’t know what is going on, but I smell peaches! Big ripe juicy peaches. On my skin, I get no green or musk, much less LOTV, just fresh ripe fruit! I am not a gourmand lover and peach is my nemeses, so I am afraid this one is going into the giveaway pile.

    For armidalowe:
Never apologoze for what you like!
Hopefully on this site we all are here to unconditionally accept, without snobbery and pretension, the opinion of all posters!
BTW, this new Miu Miu sounds LOVELY!!

Just got my new bottle of Miu Miu L’Eau Rosee in the mail! My first impression: The topnotes are green and slightly floral, with a nice musk tucked underneath as the base note. There’s something incredibly fresh and lively about the scent. It feels young, yet sophisticated. I like it! (Disclaimer: I’m a total fragrance newbie, so take this review with a grain of salt.)
