Description

Britney has launched her fourth fragrance for a younger audience, Midnight Fantasy. Now, on the dark blue bottle, Swarowski crystals resemble real stars. Night flowers and exotic fruits make it mysterious and appealing, like forbidden fruit.

In the top notes there are exotic Framboise, black cherry, and plum. The heart features an harmonious dialogue of night orchid, freesia and iris. Amber, musk and vanilla create a dark and warm trail. The perfume was created by Caroline Sabas in 2006.

This is delicious , it’s dark sweet berries exploding off my skin , at first the plum & cherry pop , then it goes on to this amazing thing like a homemade blueberry & raspberry fruit pop smell the whole time . Then there’s the nightime florals peeking out behind the fruit explosion going on . Lasts too , a good seven hours .
The cute dark blue bottle is so great being that the stuff in it is dark berry goodness . I like the night time theme going on , but this is an anytime scent . It’s not heady or heavy at all . It’s an absolute fun fruity neon gourmand that I am loving .

I picked up a cute little “Fantasy Twist” bottle with both O.G. Fantasy and Midnight Fantasy. Really enjoying this one, I understand why people put these down as modern classics.
Midnight really impressed me with its approachability. Berries, vanilla, soft musk and florals.
Sweet without being cloying, crowd pleasing, uncomplicated and an easy delight to wear. A mood sweetener.

This little beauty used to be my signature perfume in my mid twenties, and I transitioned to it after using the original Fantasy which I found too sweet after a while. I see a lot of people complain about Midnight’s artificial syrup-y scent, and they are not wrong. But honestly, I never cared cause it still smells so irresistible and delicious.
While I am a fan of gourmands, I have very specific standards about what makes them acceptable, and this one meets the main one – balance the sweetness.
Three notes stand out for me – cherry, iris and vanilla. I don’t know which one I love more.
The opening sour cherry note in this perfume is yeah, I admit, a bit plasticky, but damn it, is still delicious and it keeps things popping fresh. Once this one dries down, I can smell that wonderful iris, which gives this perfume some badly needed sophistication. In the end, the perfume sets in with vanilla and musk.
Would I recommend it? Always. It is neither elegant nor mature, but it is fresh, delicious, playful and pleasant. Furthermore, it stands out – when you smell it there is no way you’re going to confuse it with another perfume. You are likely to be the only person in the room wearing it, which isn’t the case with the original Fantasy, since there was a time when everyone was douzed in it.

This reminds me so much of the Salon Selectives brand shampoo for dry/damaged hair scent. I like it. I just associate it so much with that shampoo that I feel like I just sprayed the shampoo all over me or that I used the shampoo as a body wash or something. It’s very fun and fruity. The drydown does remind me of Barbie doll hair on my skin. I like the original fantasy better because that reminds me of cake and I prefer to smell more like cake than shampoo. It’s not really a skin scent but the sillage is fairly close to the body, maybe just a little more than a skin scent so I could see this being ok for work if you like it. Also if you’re a child of the 80s it smells a lot like the original “Plum Puddin’ doll from that series. If you aren’t familiar with the Strawberry Shortcake dolls – they were plastic and rubber dolls that smelled like different pies, fruits, muffins and other desserts.

I bought this yesterday and I’m obsessed. This perfume is so fresh, fruity and fun & sexy. It opens with a burst of juicy fruits (cherry & plum) and then has a warm soft vanilla/amber in the drydown . Beautifully sweet but not sickly or artificial. It’s intoxicating and soft. Blind buy for me & im so happy I got it. Doesn’t last quite as long as I’d like but I really didn’t spray much because I only got the tiny bottle. Wish I could buy gallons of this!! Can’t wait to get my hands on all of Britney’s scents!!!

Sweet, fruity, and fresh! I love it! Great projection, too!

This is fruity and clean kind of scent. I love wearing it at night. It can be my signature scent.it is not soapy but it s clean. I absolutely hate soapy perfumes like gucci guilty. But midnight fantasy is so beautiful. Fruity clean and warm.
And the longevity and sillage both are perfect perfect and perfect 🙂

Gah! This smells so good!!! I am a lover of sweet, fruity scents and this may be my new favorite! I definitely smell sweet blueberries and it has a well-blended feel, nothing too sharp or cloying. Longevity is great and the bottle is beautiful. I may be late to the party, but I’m a huge fan of this one!

Smells exactly like blueberries and sugar ,maybe vanilla too.very longlasting .but too sweet you shouldn’t blindbuy it

    The bottle:
It’s pretty like the whole Fantasy line. Only wished that they kept the little jewels on the “neck” of the bottle like they had when it was first released.
    Inside the bottle:
Light, tart, sweet, sensual. When sprayed you get a strong scent of the plum and mixture of cherry and vanilla. When dried you can smell the other notes but faintly. By smelling it you would think it wouldn’t last that long, but it does! At least for me and other people I know who wear it.
    Overall:
This perfume is one of the best scent in Britney Spears line. I find that anybody can wear it. It gives a youthful scent but also something classy as well. It’s not overwhelming you could wear it to school/work to a night out from day or night it works. I recommend it to anybody who loves sweets.

  11. :

A fruity vanilla. Hardly ‘noir’ or even slightly seductive. The marketing leads you to think this is a dark, evening scent. It’s not. You can wear it day or night, and in my opinion, all year round. Appreciate it for what it is—a youthful, yummy cheapie that smells delicious and gets compliments! It’s a safe blind buy. I cannot imagine it offending any noses! Sillage is soft, close to the skin, but the longevity isn’t half bad.
    Scent: 8/10
    Sillage; 5/10
    Longevity: 7/10

I love this one, but i prefer fantasy, this is good for summer nights, it is strong and long lasting

  14. :

    5 out of 5

It’s summertime and I’ve fallen in love all over again with Midnight Fantasy.
One of my top favourites in the summer mornings. It has that fruity shampoo (Garnier Fructis, that green bottles to be exact ) scent that is refreshing, fun, energising and not at all cloying or too sweet- as someone might asume base on notes, name and dark blue bottle.
Simple yet full rounded, not juvenile.
The best thing is it lasts, projects and lifts up mood. Love!

So this was a blind buy for me after I got obsessed with Ariana Grande’s Sweet Like Candy. This one came up under like “If you liked…then you might like…” At first spray, I was horrified. I wouldn’t even put this in the same category as Sweet Like Candy. It has some note that hits me as very like “sickly sweet” and synthetic…which I don’t experience with Sweet Like Candy although it’s arguably even sweeter than this one.I think it might be the fake cherry note that my nose finds so offensive. However, looking past that note I do enjoy the plum and vanilla/floral and I think I could pull off wearing this if I was in the right mood for it. Would not buy again but I’ll make do with this one. Would NOT blind buy this if possible try to smell it somewhere first.

At first I missed the vibe of Britney Spears. I did indeed like her music, especially “Slave 4U” but somehow when she started offering perfume I thought they showed an immaturity I didn’t like. Secondly, I was in that twenties cusp and was not really able to buy perfumes. I am glad that has changed with “Midnight Fantasy.”
This is my second flanker after a 30mL bottle of “Hidden Fantasy” which I bought that is still in its packaging (this is fine too!). I really appreciate “Midnight Fantasy” and I do think a woman of any age can rock this perfume. Its fruity and assertive and strong with almost a sugar cane sweet undertow – certainly NOT like candy. The sillage and longevity are very good.
A well composed nighttime fragrance, I am glad the nose kept the notes to a minimum and focussed on the SCENT. And I don’t get the girly vibe people talk about, its a woman’s perfume! Fully of sugary plum, berries, night blooming flowers and musky vanilla that support the scent.
An overall a winner in my book.
The dark blue bottle is gorgeous. This scent is fine for a night out, intimate apparel or anything a woman feels she wants to wear it for at night. I’m glad I purchased this perfume. I can’t wait to wear this when I go out at night! I’ve smelled too many famous “designer perfume house” hit and miss messes to not give Britney and Sabas a nod for this one.

In my ow opinion, this is Britney’s best perfume! It smells so good…it lasts a long time…sillage is fantastic! I always receive compliments everywhere I go! Everyone I encounter would ask me how amazing I smell…and people would approach me for it!
    10/10
    Highly recommend

I love most of BS perfumes-they all have a very sweet, girly vibe to them that is just fun. This one smells like candied blueberries to me-I don’t get anything else and it’s not offensive or obnoxious in any way. Very fun perfume and it lasts a pretty long time too.

I worked at Dillard’s when this launched this, this was about the time Britney started her meltdown and building up to it. This fragrance and believe were greatly affected by that. People were not nice and returning her perfumes because people said she was nuts, being a Britney fan it pissed me off, I’m glad they gave it a second chance and launched it again because these days it is popular, it really smells like plums and cherries and vanilla. I do t know if Britney had much input on this and believe because of her life at that time but it is one of the memorable ones . It’s a great scent for a warm summer night

This is one of the first fragrances Ive ever had! I was drawn to the bottle and smelling it the first time I was immediately in love with it. I had never smelled anything quite like this! Vanilla, plum and musk. Very yummy!
I enjoy this most on rainy days. I think the smell of rain just compliments this perfume, any time of year!
    LOVE this one.

  21. :

    4 out of 5

This one is fruit syrup made from Italian plums and fresh picked raspberries, purple flowers and vanilla underneath, but with a hint of metal, like that sourness of sucking on a penny.
The amber musk base gives it enough gravitas to take a high school girl into college, and it lasts for days on skin and weeks on clothes.
It’s actually rather brilliant–a teenage lipstick fashionista graduating magna cum laude with advanced studies in sociology.

  22. :

    4 out of 5

Tarte, but still very sugary. I think it’s a nice daytime summery fragrance, but it can also be good for parties and gloing out at night. Quite floral and fruity. One of my favourites.

  23. :

    4 out of 5

This is a nice fruity vanilla fragrance. It’s like you’ve made a fruit salad with plum and cherry, topped with a vanilla sauce.
I mostly get the plum, cherry and vanilla. In the drydown, I smell a little bit of amber and musk.
This may not be the most original fragrance, but the quality is okay. The sillage is moderate, and longevity is about 6 hours.

  24. :

    5 out of 5

This fragrance is absolutely yummy and sugary…with mainly plum and vanilla and sugar notes that dominates this perfume…lovely bottle…heavenly smell…the longevity though is somewhat a let down for me…it just stays 3 to 4 hours on me …sillage btw is better…i simply prefer the original fantasy as i found that both sillage and longevity are massive….for this one i score a 7 out of 10

This is easily one of my favourite celebrity perfumes. I bought this when I was 18 because I had tried my friend’s and I adored it. I have not used it for at least 6 years but I’m actually really interested in owning it again. I remember that this is berry sweetness and I think many people would like this. I love the bottle too – it’s such a pretty colour.
Will definitely repurchase at some point!

Vanilla & orchid, two of my favourite notes in perfumes.
The plum & amber gives off sweetness. The cherry gives a sour feel, well at least to my nose. The musk sure gives a little powdery dry down. I picked this up for $20 bucks, it smells so girly, & berry-like, it lasts too.
Best worn on a chilly night 😉
I go with 6-8 sprays, and I’m set for the night.
    Longevity: 5 to 6 hours

Amazing sillage and longevity! I wanted to love this so badly… But it gives me a headache! I’d been looking for so long for a perfect sugar plum scent, i finally find it and it gives me a headache

One of the best female fragrances! Very sensual and intoxicating! Now, I prefer Dark Kiss, but this is almost identical. If you want to smell good and pleasing to men…wear this perfume.

    Delicious!
The fruits in Midnight Fantasy smell like they are covered in sugar and vanilla essence. I have a penchant for sugary scents so this is my cup of tea.
Heavy sillage and lasts all day.

    Very sweet and strong
But its realy wel put together
The lasting power is 8 hours
    The silage is amazing

I like sweet fragrances and fruity-florals and I am a fan of a whole range of celebrity perfumes, so believe me when I say its not snobbery that leads me to brand this a major scrubber.
The synthetic fruity sweetness is just too much. I don’t get any distinct plum, cherries or vanilla and zero flowers – just a super-powerful blast of synthetic ‘berries’, like you drowned yourself in pink Herbal Essences conditioner (and then maybe rolled around in icing sugar afterwards).
It’s the olfactory equivalent of the aftertaste of aspartame on your tongue when you sip a diet drink. Ick.

  33. :

    3 out of 5

Extremely sweet, amazingly long-lasting and powerful. I like the warm smell of fresh berries but it’s a bit too cloying for my taste. One spritz lasts 4 days on clothes, one and a half day on my skin- have never seen anything like it. For cold months, night-time wear only.

  34. :

    3 out of 5

It does smell like Dark kiss from bbw but also like a a 90s teen boopy scent. It has its appeal but not for grown women…

  35. :

    4 out of 5

I loved Fantasy so much I went ahead and blind bought a bottle of Midnight Fantasy. When I got home, I was very much disappointed. I was hoping for a delicious sweet skittles scent, but all I got were synthetic berries that was strongly reminiscent to medicine and cough lollies. Sadly I had to throw it away because I couldn’t stand it.

  36. :

Yesterday it was 3 bottles left in the shop – today – they were all gone – it’s a very popular scent in Norway. The red bottle was also gone today
Even though it’s a very nice perfume, it’s not my “cup of tea” =))

  37. :

I bought a small bottle of this on a blind buy for $5 at Rite Aid at a deep clearance. I had always wanted to try a Britney perfume, but I can never find a tester. I figured, if I didn’t like it, at least the bottle was cute! I usually don’t go for “fruity” fragrances, but I really, really like this! It has a dark but still very fun and youthful quality to it. It actually gives me a sense of nostalgia and smells very late 90’s to me, around the time I graduated HS. Is it the most sophisticated scent? No, but it’s hard not to smile when you wear it.

  38. :

    4 out of 5

This one is very uncomplicated and juicy, and that is perfect for those days when you just want a straight forward scent. The plums are Big here including raspberries. It is like a fruit punch filled with fun. I like this one from time to time, easy to wear and fun to hang out with:)

  39. :

    5 out of 5

It’s okay, nothing special here. It wasn’t the dark and sexy perfume I was hoping for. Smells really plain jane, like something I’d wear during the day time to class

  40. :

    5 out of 5

This was a blind buy for me because I found a boxed gift set containing large 3.3 oz Eau de Parfum along with both a small lotion and a small shower gel. If anyone is interested interested in adding this to your fragrance wardrobe, by all means, go to Amazon before they run out! :0)
Luckily for me, this was a happy blind buy. I didn’t know if I would be disappointed because so many of the reviews state that it is super sweet. I can only handle really sweet frags every one in a while. I am more into orientals, musks, florals, and the clssics – many of which have been modified. (Such a terrific shame what they did to our scents!!!). So I tried this one first thine this morning, and I was quite pleasantly surprised. Yes, first I get the sweetness, well, immediately you could say. I’m thinking the one most prominent note I am smell is blueberry, and in fact, I can’t identify any specific fruit other than that. But just wait…a few minutes and the florals come out to play with their sweet friends. Again, I’m not picking a single flower in there, but together they’re beautiful. All in all, I like this perfume and I love the deal I got on it. I don’t think I would recommend this to anyone over a certain age, however, unless that person understood that this scent screams that it was formulated for a younger crowd. But any age could wear this, especially at night. Forget limiting perfumes to age! Do, and wear, what you love!!! All the best!

This smelled great on paper- fruity, fresh and delicious. I was shocked. Then I tested it on my skin and it smelled like Victoria’s Secret Love Spell or Pure Séduction, (i can’t remember which it was) which were huge back in my middle school heyday. It’s so weird. After it dries down the soapy quality died off and I was left with a soft fruity fragrance. Sillage is strong but the lasting power is less than 2 hours. Not worth a full bottle, and it’s actually not that great of a night scent since it’s not sexy, it’s more fresh/soapy.

  42. :

    3 out of 5

I must confess that to my nose, it is only a much longer lasting and heavier version of the original Fantasy, which becomes annoying and sticky at certain point. While I like the original Fantasy, I find this one immature, artificial and cheap, without the original’s elegant quince note.

  43. :

My first Celebrity Fragrance I actually spent money on myself. Not bad. Worth the 10.00 GBP for 30ml. A blind impulse buy from Superdrug on a cold winter day. I always liked Britney and liked Curious when it came out but never actually bought it. This is a sugar frosted Raspberry BLAST for the first hour or so and then some combination of sugar with amber and musk vanilla maybe? Not a huge fan and will probably not repurchase as it is bit headache inducing. Of course it lacks depth and uniqueness and and and…but come on… it´s fun and girly and I wanted to feel carefree and a teenager again. Cute perfume.Tomorrow morning I will wear Chanel Cristalle again:( suits my first grey hair better:(

I was looking for a new purple scent and I am in love!!!
I could distinctly smell the dark cherry and sweet plum – and it is just as amazing as it sounds. Like many of you though, I seem to come up with blueberry memories quite often. The fruit is all very pleasant 🙂
A total purple scent! I love the flowers. I originally thought this had jasmine incorporated into the florals but no.. anyway the three in this are a very perfect blend.
The vanilla is a tiny bit louder than what I imagined but I think the floral and fruits would fight without it, lol. It’s a very real and airy french vanilla instead of thick cream or imitation bean.
The amber comes in very subtle and seems like it is all on it’s own here, but is a good choice spice-nibble to go with all the various sweetness.
The only other Britney perfume I’ve owned and tried before is the original Fantasy. It’s beautiful and complex too, but I think Midnight Fantasy is more suitable for how I’d like to express myself. I’m looking forward to trying more of her Fantasies!!

I tried this the other day at priceline but didnt love it enough to pay 39 dollars and didnt really want a big 100ml bottle. but a new pharmacy in my area had a 50ml bottle for 12.99 and i grabbed it. It makes me think of a pile of blueberry compote over a stack of hot pancakes, yummy. It reminded me of something though and i couldnt think of what, then it hit me; the white deodorizer powder we used to use on carpet years ago. Its not sickly sweet and I dont think its really a night fragrance. I find all the perfumes with night in the name, are always really fruity and sweet but im more inclined to wear something heavy and oriental on a night out so to me this is more of a nice day fragrance, warm or cool weather it would suit both

@guillermostf I’m sorry but you’re wrong. Smells nothing like Hypnose.

This is what a Sugar Plum Fairy would smell like. It’s fun and sweet…I spritz it when I need a mood lifter. Not sexy or sophisticated, but sometimes that’s OK.

This perfume is an excellent pick for lovers of plum. I find that upon initial application it does have a strong fruity scent, but this quickly dissipates as it settles into the skin and the vanilla notes start to come through. It has a creamy plum vibe on me. This is not a particularly mature scent, but I do think it is less juvenile than the original Fantasy (it is also longer lasting). I have used up a 50mL of this fragrance and I plan to repurchase.

If you love sweet fruity fragrances then this is a winner ! I LOVE IT !’ One of my all time fave fumes – Sweet , Fresh , Fruity , zingy , Happy , just a massive blueberry burst of sweety fruity goodness.. makes me want to skip around and dance wafting the fantasy around me .. a must for all sweet perfume lovers . Long lasting too .

  51. :

    5 out of 5

It is very easy for me to understand how 91 people have chosen Britney Spears’ Midnight Fantasy as their signature scent.
The notes allege that the main note is plum here, but to MY nose, this fragrance smells like a massive stack of fluffy, hot blueberry pancakes drenched in blueberries, rich, thick blueberry syrup all laying under a blanket of delicate powdered sugar.
Literally nothing else in my experience smells like THIS fruity-floral fragrance, and that’s a significant accomplishment in a world of olfactory drones.
Fragrance: 10/10 Midnight Fantasy is unbearably beautiful. She’s an instant “Love”, one who has already started to haunt me, call to me, romance me day and night.
Performance: Both longevity and sillage are moderate or more, depending on variables that include chemistry, application, etc.
    Value = 10/10. Bang-to-buck ratio = Superb.
Like ALL fragrances, this one is made for anyone and everyone who wishes to wear it, regardless of age, gender, tax-bracket. Midnight Fantasy is a very welcome addition to my collection and I highly recommend her to anyone and everyone.
Well done yet again, Ms. Spears! Well done indeed.
If Maison Martin Margiela had created this fragrance, I believe they’d have named it something like “Blueberry Pancakes @ IHOP”.

This is for those with empty 1.7 oz bottles of this juice sitting around. I am in search of a dark blue cap for this size. Willing to compensate you via PayPal. Please message me. I’ve found the caps from the 3.4 oz bottle are too large. Thank you

Deep, delectable, plum. Verging on gourmand; smells like a Fruit tingle (cocktail). Very smooth and rounded-out with no heavy musk or soapy powder. Very intensive fruity-ness, noticable warmth (from the Amber I presume), and candy sweet.
I enjoy it most as a night time fragrance.

  54. :

Im obsessed:) Dark , smoky, edible blueberry. Yummy! It smells like an extrait version of my beloved Dark kiss!. Sexy! I don’t like britney spears but I love this perfume. I haven’t found very many perfumes out there with a strong long-lasting blueberry note but this was the best that I found so far. It smells like blueberries from beginning to end and it becomes more creamy with vanilla in the background as it wears. The longevity is amazing and sillage is perfect I can smell it all day just sitting and I can smell it moving around me. I have almost 300 bottles of perfume and this is one of my favorites and it’s one of the cheapest.

  55. :

This smells exactly like a blueberry jolly rancher. I’m trying hard to like it but I prefer the original.

  56. :

Oh My Goodness!….This just screams SWEETNESS with a twist of Fruits. I get plummy plum plumzy plums, but my senses can’t detect much else apart from Blueberries. I have only just read the notes in this and i’ve had my bottle for about 50 years. She has a back up twin sister in the box in the drawer for when i run out. I just love this scent and i think it’s extremely strong and sweet.
HOWEVER…….drums please……i will ONLY wear this in the house. As much as i love the fragrance, i wouldn’t spray this first thing in the morning then go out, as it’s just too much and overwhelming for me. So i’ll literally put this on hours before i go to bed, or just spray it every now and again just so i can smell it. mmm…
The longevity is amazing, it’s still there the next morning.
I know Britney has only brought out about 300 perfumes but my personal opinion is Midnight Fantasy is the strongest and most distinctive one.
Edit – If you don’t know what this smells like…grab a bag of SKITTLES and throw a load in your mouth…THAT taste…is identical to the SMELL of THIS perfume! xxx

I fell in love at spray one! I immediately got a blast of super sweetness, but not in a bad way. The fruitiness makes for a lovely happy scent. It’s got an alluring scent to it. I absolutely love this perfume. I think you could wear it day or night.

  59. :

My favourite out of the Fantasy collection. I’ve gone through two bottles this year alone, and have repurchased this multiple times since it was first released.
Starts off as an intensely sweet scent (the sweetness reminds me of grape soda haha, but more accurately a plum) and dries down to a warm vanilla. I know that some folks don’t like this because of how sweet it starts out, and in fact I know some people who recoil at testing it, but I always seem to receive compliments when I wear this one. Perhaps my body chemistry gels well with this one.
Wearable during the day and night, although I tend to reach for this more at night.

Midnight Fantasy starts out with extremely synthetic, tooth-achingly sweet berries. The first 20 minutes or so were not pleasant due to that. However, it gradually dried down to a creamy, still very sweet but not nearly as harsh or synthetic smelling, berry. It almost smells like blueberries and vanilla cream dessert at this point. Very pretty.
Being honest, I do not think I will buy this because it is not really in my style, but I urge everyone to wait out that horrible opening before making a judgement on it. The dry down was creamy, nice, and worth waiting for.

Not for me. The artificial smell of cherries/raspberries reminded me of candy and was overpowering. There was some spice and vanilla there too, but the overiding fruit smell was too much. It didn’t fade particularly, so I guess that means the longevity is good. I had to wash it off. The bottle is pretty though.

A spicy Britney scent, I had held off on this one for a while as I liked at the time Hidden Fantasy so much it reduced my interest in this. Years later, I am more impressed and have a larger Britney collection. A classic addition.

Yummy berries, not sweet, just very juicy. Love it. Probably my favorite Britney frag although I don’t wear it as often as others.

Wee! This was on my November perfume tray and this is one I’ve repurchased many times (maybe because I buy the 0.5 oz bottles also…).
It is plummy, soapy, yet noir-type feel to it. It’s slightly sour, but balanced by the soap-vibe. It smells very much like BBW’s Dark Kiss, which I use to layer this with. I do wear this during the day most of the time and find that it wears very well with my skin chemistry. My skin definitely makes the sour cherry and plum notes dance. Sometimes it smells sour, other times not. Now that I have gotten more into perfumes, I’m unsure that I’ll repurchase after I finish the two of my 0.5 oz bottles, but who knows? It is not very complex and actually quite a linear scent. I may not need this if Dark Kiss is still around, which is more up my alley with the spiciness. Midnight Fantasy seems to be “missing something” so I tend to layer it with Curve Crush AND Dark Kiss to give it a little something something.
Nice and clean smelling despite the fruit and vanilla notes!

2nd review: Update – It’s a very cold day here. I don’t know if that’s influencing the performance of Midnight Fantasy on my skin. Midnight Fantasy is a soft for the first few minute then develops to more noticeable, warm, pleasantly sweet fragrance on me. It’s noticeable but not in-your-face nor cloying. Definitely for day wear.
I made the mistake of thinking that since I only bought 50ml and should’ve bought the full 100ml because I find Midnight Fantasy very versatile, I pushed the pump half way down and it leaked all over the bottle and I nearly regretted my purchase. After cleaning off the bottle and seeing that there were no cracks or obvious leaks, I pressed the nossle all the way down and had no leaking issues. Maybe it’s just my bottle, but if you find that 1-2 spritzes is enough, then maybe rather hold the bottle at a bit of a distance and apply a full spray rather than trying to administer half a spray.
Jan. 15.01.2018 Edit: After having read Matt’s review on the original Fantasy review page, I ran to check where my bottle was made. It says: “Made in France”. I never thought to check where the tester was made. I don’t know if I can always expect these Britney Spears fragrances to have been made in France, if I buy them here in Denmark?

This perfume is one of the best cheap fragrances. It is sweet, but not too sweet. Youthful, but not only for younger girls. My mother wears this also, and it fits her too. This fragrance is bright and dark in the same time. It is a really nice everyday and every night scent. But not only for average days, it fits for almost every occasion.

My tastes change depending on the season. I start enjoying super sweet and delicious perfumes with notes of vanilla, winter fruit, caramel and spices. One year ago I did not like this fragrance at all. But as I said … tastes are changing and now I love it!
Smells of sour fruits and a drop of vanilla. I see this worn in all the seasons, maybe less in the summer.
The smell is very persistent and projects very well.
I’m not interested in the age label, I’m 29 years old and i wear what I love anytime and anywhere, i dont think this is just for teenagers. It’s for everyone who likes it!

Funnily enough, the original Fantasy is my signature scent, and Midnight Fantasy is my sister’s signature scent! However i must admit that this is a very close second in my list of my top favourite fragrances; i’ve worn this often and found this last slightly longer than OG Fantasy ( maybe because I wear OG so much lol)
Though midnight is in the name, I don’t believe that this is a scent just for nighttime, I find it just as wearable in the day. This scent is a rich fruity concoction of Plums, Black cherries and vanilla ( i’ve never understood why people said they can smell a blueberry note), i feel like if this were a drink it would be a dark purple sparkly cocktail! Great Sillage, lasts all day on
