Not to pick a bone with anyone, but citronellol and limassol are both very inexpensive natural scent isolates. There are artificial (i.e. synthesized) versions available, but it’s not really a cost benefit to the perfumer. Additionally, galaxolide is very much a base more… Kind of a diffusion floral musk. Not much fruity about it at all… Maybe you are thinking of Givaudan’s geranodyle or even givescone instead? I suspect a heavy hand on the iso e would render this as a fragrance I’m not overly fond of, but I haven’t had a sample yet eithe.
