I absolutely love this fragrance. Never in the world would I had imagined a combination of Peony and Rose as One. I was very surprised to enjoy this concoction, after not liking their Rose or Peony toilettes, and deciding to stay away from their floral fragrances. But this is just absolutely wonderful!
This is a very light fragrance, from the moment you spray it on yourself. The first thing that you will notice is the combination of Peony and Rose, very subtly. After which, with time passing, you will be left with a light woodsy scent on your skin.
The fragrance lasts for about four hours.
The only thing that I don’t like about this scent, is that it was sold for the Holidays, which meant that it was a limited edition fragrance.
L’occitane should’ve made this one of their staple fragrances along with their Rose, Peony and Cherry Blossom.

I have it as a soap and the smell is lovely.
    Flowery meets clean.
Not too complicated but very nice.

Fleures Merveilleuses will be soon withdrawn from the market I heard in the Occitane shop two days ago (in Middle East). It’s a pity, though.
I like this light perfume. It first starts with the red berries and the pink grapefruit. After an hour you smell more the peony (I have never discovered the rose note in it) which will be overwhelmed by the woody notes at the end. No musk to my nose.
Definitely for Spring and light Summer. Can be wore at any age and for any occasions.
    Sillage and longevity are good.

I tested this perfume when it was launched in autumn/winter 2012 because it has a roll-on edition of 10ml which I thought would be pratical to carry around. It smelt really nice at the beginning. Also the shop perfumed the wrapping paper with it so you had the smell in your paper bag. And I liked it a lot that I even left the wrapping paper in my drawer.
But after I bought the perfume (both roll-on and perfume), I realised I did not like the end notes at all. It was not floral and felt to strong to my nose that I could not bear it at all.
It was a very disappointing experience and I think, desptie all my love for the brand, I won’t buy their perfume any more

Your basic L’occitane rose and peony. Nothing exciting here. Sprayed a few Xs on one wrist and gone within the hour.

It’s an inoffensive floral smell that might appeal to some but for me it doesn’t exactly smell like anything special. I’d accept it as a gift and probably wear it as an everyday perfume but I don’t think I’d buy it with my own money or wear it during an important event or occasion. It also has very poor longevity. An hour or two tops.

If you love florals that smell like spring in a bottle, you might like Marvellous Flowers. To me, it’s a very pink scent. It’s not overly rosy. I think I smell peony more. It’s sweetened with a touch of fruit. It’s very fresh, but it totally lacks that typical citrus accord that dominates the modern perfume market. I do not like grapefruit, and although it is listed in the notes, I did not smell enough for it to take away from the beautiful florals. This is really a quality floral, an example of the way I believe modern florals should be done. L’Occitane has restored some faith that perfumery is still an art and that you don’t have to pay a fortune for a thoughtful, high-quality perfume. And in real life the bottle is very charming!
