Ahhh, Mademoiselle Ricci L’Eau…Your bottle is so pretty. You are possibly one of the most delicate woody rose scents I’ve ever come across. Super-soft sillage and longevity is not great. I am not crazy about you, there seems something about you hitting my nose in a bad way, and I can’t discern what it is. I am thinking a little powdery, perhaps, is what is throwing me off here..? Not a specific note that I pick up that is unfavorable to my nose, just something smells a little “off” here to me. Perhaps my bottle is bad? Ordered from fragnet, so it should be fine. *shrug* But your bottle will happily stay in my collection, you pretty little thing.
Might be a nice church scent or a daytime wedding scent. Or if you like a (powdery) woody rose scent, wear this wherever, whenever you want. 🙂 Makes sense to me that some see this as similar to Kenzo Flower, Kenzo Flower used to be way too powdery to me, and I now actually love Kenzo Flower. Perhaps Mademoiselle Ricci L’Eau will find a similar “fate” for me down the road… 🙂

Nice, delicate floral scent, absolutely unobtrusive. At first it is even a bit green, but then floral heart prevails. Elegant, a bit powdery, office safe. The only ‘but’ is longevity. After few hours it is gone.

This is so artificial smelling. Some nondescript, plasticky flowers on a bed on slightly sweet musk. Boring and plain, but somehow nauseating to me.

This is surprisingly sweet despite the notes listed. On the nina ricci website it lists lychee ( I mean get the notes right fragrantica!). Maybe that’s where the sweet notes are coming from or perhaps it’s the combo of the applewood, rose ,lychee and jasmine. Overall it’s a nice girly scent that lasts about 8 hours with the beautiful pastel pink bottle an extra bonus!

This fragrance is a real marvel for me in light compositions! How nice it is with its delicate peony! like a spring breeze! and a drop of cedar gives its freshness. The bottle is also very beautiful, I love opaque glass bottles.
And what a pity that it does not last long at all! There is nothing anymore after 1h :((( But despite this, I think I will buy again a new bottle because I really like the fragrance

    The bottle is beautiful!
The scent however is not that unique. It strongly reminds me of Kenzo flower and Kenzo flower Tag upon application (all share jasmine, rose/penoy) . And all perform similarly on longevity and sillage departments.
Mademoiselle l’Eau softens the inital sweetiness very soon leaving some fruity powdery floral behind. Need re applicable about 3 hours for me.
A little harmless unoffensive sweet little nothing.

This is fresh, soft, inoffencive sweet scent. If I were a high-school girl, I would buy it.

This is beautiful!! It’s so soft, sweet and heavenly, i just love it. I agree with below that it does smell like a toned down version of Paris, a more wearable version. The rose in this is very sweet, I don’t get much of the woodiness or musk though, it’s definitely all about the florals.
It’s not that strong on me, a very moderate sillage, but longevity is great, had it on for six hours now and can still smell it on my wrists. I know it’s meant for the warmer weather, but i can see it being so relaxing and soothing to wear in autumn/winter after a bath when the rain and wind is battling away outside.
Glad i came across this gorgeous perfume, just wish i’d got a bigger bottle!!

Best blind buy I’ve ever made. My only regret is that I got a small bottle…
    I AM IN LOVE.
It does smell of roses and peony, but to me, it smells EXACTLY like my favourite linden trees in blossom – a tiny bit sour.
It’s like a very, very soft version of YSL Paris.
A romantic, flowy, airy, delicate scent. The bottle shape and colour are pretty much spot on, it is all pink ribbons and girly stuff – marvellous!

I have a tester vial of this pretty perfume. It is much sweeter than I was expecting after reading the main accords above. It is a sweet, pretty, rosey fragrance that is inoffensive and pleasant for daytime use. Occasionally it smells a little bit too sweet on my wrists, and becomes a bit jam-ey. I’ve been wearing it for 6 hours now and it has not faded much, only got sweeter.
I won’t be buying this particular perfume but I do like it. I think it would suit younger ladies than me tbh.
I also discovered that this is Not a fragrance that should be spritzed onto hair before walking your dog in the countryside! Apparently it attracts hornets….I spent a good 10 minutes trying to evade two of the giant, scarey insects this morning. They kept trying to land on my head (never happened before, even though I see hornets often). Much running and arm flailing ensued. Hornets don’t usually land on flowers as far as I know, so I’m not sure if I smelled sweet like honey (they attack honeybee hives) or like rotting meat to them? Either way, be warned, Mademoiselle Ricci L’eau is attractive to French hornets!!

ok I just read the description of the notes, rose peony litchi, really? that just means one thing: ROSE peony is rosy and litchi is rosy as well, we want real notes!!!

Another impulse buying at the airport – which I clearly do not regret.
I have to say that I am not a big fan of rose scents, but once in a while, I guess I have to make an exception. While the scent is somehow similar to the original Mademoiselle Ricci, I find Mademoiselle Ricci L’Eau a lot softer.
It’s sweet but it’s fresh. Unlike other Nina Ricci fragrances which I often consider sticky-sweet, Mademoiselle Ricci L’Eau is a lot more subtle and enchanting with its own way.
Many fragrances started out loud, but not Mademoiselle Ricci L’Eau. It started “politely” and soon I discovered subtle rosy scent all around me. First day at work wearing this, I got a lot of “mmm” from coworkers. Although the sillage is not massive, it’s generally noticeable when you pass on somebody’s table.
Aaand, Mademoiselle Ricci offers a bonus. A subtleness that doesn’t vanish within 1, 3, 5, or even 7 hours. I worked late the other day, spent about 12 hours at the office. When I got home, the scent was still there. Close to the skin, but still very noticeable to whoever sitting next to you.
I cannot really explain it. Definitely another “Mmmm” moment I had since I discovered EL Pure White Linen Pink Coral. Great thing is, this frag is new, and waaaaay away from being discontinued 😀
All that you have to do is to sniff it on your wrist, then decide to take it home with you 🙂
I guess that is why I decided to take it home.
A complete impulse 100ml buy that I will not regret.

Absolutely lovely ! Romantic as Mademoiselle Ricci but even sweeter. It smells rose water, it feels like a rose loukhoum. I loved Ricci Ricci, I prefered Mademoiselle Ricci, but now my favorite is Mademoiselle Ricci L’Eau.
    Correct lasting power.
