If I were Tom Ford I’d be worried about this little $5 beast. I gotta say if you’re a fan of Tuscan Leather you have to try this! Unless you HAVE to tell everyone that you’re wearing Tuscan Leather than this is for you! Mixed with perfumers alcohol this stuff is amazing!

awesome!!!!…great smell like tom ford alot but so inexpensive…anyone know of others in this line or al rehab like this?worth buying?

I’ve tried La Yuqawan and Arab Tradition but this one I prefer. Just like someone mentioned, it has a more pronounced raspberry notes with the leather dialed down a bit so great for those who want that kind of variation. Definitely okay for young men.

Beautifully made. Scent is very refined, close to Tuscan Leather.
First a floral rasperry (very well dosed, not too strong or sweet), than turns into classy leather after half an hour or so.
Projection is softer than TL, as expected from an oil, compared to an alcohol based perfume.
Worth it, and at $5, it’s definitely a great blind buy. If it projected a little more, this would be a dead ringer for TF’s Tuscan Leather.
    30+, Fall/winter/spring evenings

I like it better than Tuscan Leather because the raspberry is turned up, and the leather is turned down. Great for anytime wear in South Florida. This oil lasts about 12 hours strong.
    ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

What a bomb! I put it on, and after an hour washed it off as I wanted to test others. Still going strong despite scrubbing. Very powerful stuff, strong on the thyme and leathers, I don’t sense raspberries but then I never do. Similarities to TF/Arab Tradition are amazing. I’d do a side by side if t his was my genre. It’s not, but respect to this one.

Yes, this is one of the best deals in perfumery. Basically Tuscan Leather with the flowery raspberry turned up a bit at the beginning, and the leather turned down.
Excellent scent. It turned me on to the idea of looking at Nabeel and other arabic houses.
Very little risk with this blind buy. If you like TF TL at all, get this.

    They ain’t jokin’.
This is Tuscan Leather 90% YES!
Missing is the deep raspberry and saffron. (sad face)
    Is it worth $6.00 ?
    Yes. Safe Blind Buy. LOL.
UPDATE: I have been layering this with various fruity scents and its wonderful. Try to find something with berries…..

I’ve just received my macho man today…I mean, this is Tuscan Leather. If you like TL,you’ll like this.I bought it reading reviews from here,as you’re going to buy it reading my review:),and you won’t be wrong.I have TL in my nose by sampling it from the perfume store, never owned one,but immediately,I smelled it,when I put roller on!Longevity and projection I can not discuss,as tomorrow will be my first day of wearing it,and o boy,I’m going to wear it hard and often!Because I love TL!First impressions are fantastic. If longevity and projection will match it,I’ll be very happy man:)!

Immediate blast of very strong abit harsh leather, after 5minutes the harshness leaves and in comes fruity tangy raspberry, which lasts for hours on my skin. I’m not going to compare this to anything else, but it’s very similar and worth a go for the price

  11. :

I can’t smell raspberry in the opening. What I can smell is cut rose stems. This fades quickly leaving a fair impersonation of TL. At this price it’s a no brainer.

Smells almost exactly like LaYuqawam to me, which I have as well. Just as excellent. And just like that one, I don’t understand what you all mean by raspberry. I’d love to smell some raspberry, and I don’t. But plenty of leather and suede. And, if you didn’t already know, this is very cheap. The only thing I’m struggling a bit with is the longevity, but I’m not really used to how to use a roll-on.

I don’t generally like leather scents but this tiny little tube of concentrated perfume oil has me hooked – the raspberry top notes marry beautifully with an understated leather and suede means it won’t have you smelling like a leather bag.
It may well be worth a try to dilute this with some perfume base for a spray application to improve sillage.

This is a $5 perfume oil attar that smells very similar to Tom Ford Tuscan Leather. Notes in this are exactly the same as that in Tom Ford Tuscan Leather, namely: leather, suede, rasberry, amber, saffron, woodsy notes, olibanum, thyme, and jasmine – with particular emphasis on leather, suede, and rasberry (the notes that define Tuscan Leather). I’ve smelled Tom Ford Tuscan Leather and this is 95% identical to it, especially in the opening where they both share that infamous ‘cocaine’ smell. After a few minutes though, it becomes in fact far superior to Tuscan Leather in my opinion due to far more pronounced suede and rasberry notes in Macho Man. I’m not kidding when I say I enjoy this $5 attar far more than the $300 Tuscan Leather on scent alone – if I sniffed each without knowing what they were, I would choose Macho Man by Nabeel (and if you want the rasberry to be even more pronounced than Nabeel Macho Man in a similar style to Tom Ford Tuscan Leather, try out Daniel Josier’s Green Leather; while just rasberry minus the other notes in TL can be found in Montblanc’s Individuel). As for longevity and projection, Tuscan Leather wins but surprisingly not by much. Tuscan Leather has better projection but has similar beastmode longevity as Macho Man. And Macho Man’s projection is still no slouch either. This is the real deal! I don’t even normally like leather fragrances, but this is incredible. I would buy this over Tuscan Leather 10 days out of 10.

This smells like Tuscon leather and all its similar smelling cousins!! ( Yukuwam, dueto etc etc…)
    PERIOD!
No BS just straight up great cheapie with the exact same scent.
Bit softer than all the cousins being an oil but none the less Same scent.
It really makes me wonder how much are the niche ones really cost to manufacture ?
Anyways get this and stop wasting money!

Macho Man is as the name implies… Macho. It’s a guy in his 30’s to 50’s wearing a leather jacket and biker boots, or the adventurous businessman in his designer suit and leather overcoat. It’s masculine in a gentlemen-like way. The leather is more of a suede like those popular jackets from the 80’s with a well done rasberry note that blends perfectly into a unique composition, perfect for cold winter days.
The performance will shock you for such a budget fragrance. Frankly, I find it much better than TF’s Tuscan Leather which leans on the feminine side.
Naming a fragrance Macho Man may seem corny and even outdated. But don’t let the name stop you from trying out this fragrance.
Macho Man is the oil version of Arab Tradition made by the same house Nabeel. At$5 for a 6ml roller you won’t find a better value for a fragrance. It’s niche quality for pennies.

It’s wintertime right now, and all I can smell in addition to a non-sweet raspberry is… freshly cut grass? I’d say the suede in this is more like my new pair of unworn suede gloves than my old and well-worn suede jacket. It’s completely devoid of those delicious dark, salty tones of the latter mentioned piece of clothing. It’s like listening to a Barry White record on the tinniest sounding, mono-channel-only sound system ever devised – you’re left wondering what the others love about it that you *just don’t get*. I’ll try wearing this again when it’s warm and humid, maybe then I’ll understand the charm.

Wow. What a gem! Comparisons to Tuscan Leather are justified. This is very very close, almost alike unless you are doing a side by side. At the price point, it’s a no brainer if you are a TL fan.

It’s Tuscan Leather that you can wear anytime of the year.
It’s not over powering like TF’s or Rasasi’s so the heat doesn’t make this unwearing.
So if you ever wanted to wear Tuscan Leather year round but thought it was too strong to pull off, this is for you. In fact I wore it yesterday and it was 88 degrees and I loved every minute of it…
I bought the six pack for under $16. Can’t beat that!
Update: I mixed some with perfumer’s alcohol at 30% concentration, so essentially I made a Perfume Extrait or Extrait de Parfum, or whatever it’s really called and I like it better this way than the roll on… This stuff is really nice.

This is very confusing to me. This oil smells EXACTLY like all the items (books especially) that my mother in law brings over from her house. She and her husband smoke in their home and the musty scent of cigarette smoke permeates every object there.
I have been reading some glowing reviews of Macho Man, but all my husband and I can smell, even after suffering 30 minutes of it on our skin is musty, stale cigarette smoke, exactly like the smoke- marinated books his mom brings over. It made me feel pretty nauseated. Sorry to those who love this- I know scent associations can make or break an impression, but this might not be a safe or pleasant blind- buy.

This smells like a high end purse store. It really does smell like a very expensive leather bag. It opens with leather. Lots of it, and good leather too. I do not even perceive the raspberry or amber. Just leather in front and wood beneath.
I also have Arab Tradition and the two scents are totally alike to my nose.
I highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys leather notes. It is masculine, but not macho. Any lady who likes leather frags should enjoy wearing this.
For perspective, Pinaud Special Reserve is a decent leather scent. It smells like leather on a cattle drive. Macho Man smells like a $500 purse.

Im not a big Tom Ford fragrance fan. A lot of the time they dont work for me. Macho man is a great wearable tuscan leather idea and I like it a lot better. Check this modern leather gem out.

i love ths scent-this beautiful little roller ball-it is amazing! i cant wait to start layering it-the possibilities are endless….pure poison, covet, al rehab amber rose, valentinos donna, tresor nuit….the possibilities seem endless! that is quite a bargain for less than $5.
there is this beautiful raspberry…juicy and rich-not the synthetic smelling raspberry you usually get in perfumes, and then there is suede/leather-not too strong or harsh….the amer i barely smell-but i do get the wood notes…it rounds out the notes perfectly.
I will definitely be buying a 6 pack of this little beauty.

    No problem, Eyviab!
And I agree – Macho Man’s longevity is great, 12+ hours or so. The only difference is projection. Macho man sits a little closer to the skin than Tuscan Leather, but it does project softly and consistently. But if you add more, the projection will match Tuscan Leather. (But let’s be honest, Tuscan Leather can be TOO strong sometimes!)
As for a comparison of the two? Macho Man is dead-on accurate to the best parts of Tuscan Leather. Macho Man’s sweetness is closer to TL’s middle to last half instead of its overly sweet opening. Macho Man’s raspberry is equivalent to TL’s middle, so it’s present all the same, but not overbearing. The leather and suede in Macho Man are strong and just as distinguishable as they are in TL’s dry down, but Macho Man is slightly brighter/cleaner. Tuscan Leather is a bit deeper/dirtier, and it almost smells like it has a bit of incense underneath the same leather note.
Anyway, I’m picking out these slight differences, but the difference is really VERY minimal! Honestly, if anything, Macho Man’s scent BEATS Tuscan Leather for me, due to its slight differences. While wearing it, you might even forget that you’re not wearing Tuscan Leather. The difference is that the aspects where Tuscan Leather is slightly overbearing, Macho Man is just as present without being at all abrasive.
In my opinion, this is the closest/best fragrance clone I’ve ever experienced. I HIGHLY recommend it!

Scary good dupe for Tuscan leather! It performs the same as TL does on my skin scent wise but oddly enough this one outperforms the pricy Tom Ford on longevity at least on my skin chemistry! Thanks Tony for the awesome swap!

Hmmm, quite the conundrum: if I say this stuff sucks I’m a TL snob, if I say this smells just like TL I’ll be castrated by those who would question my audacity for comparing a $6 fragrance to the beloved TL. Well………
I have both and this is quite the ample substitute for Tuscan leather and an absolute steal for the price. Buy it and enjoy.

You know when women say “I can’t even…” as if it’s a complete sentence? Well, that’s me right now. As in, I can’t even begin to do this scent justice!
It smells amazing!!! As soon as I sniffed it, I smiled ear to ear, and I continue to do so every time I smell this. This is absolutely, hands down, no questions asked, my favorite smell. Not my favorite scent, only because it’s an oil from a roller ball, rather than a spray. I’ll be purchasing Nabeel Arab Tradition soon and I HOPE it smells EXACTLY like this! Update: it’s very close, same ingredients, but not exactly the same. See my review on it for more details.
If you’re considering this scent and find it available for a decent price, don’t question your decision, just BUY IT! You will not be disappointed!

I finally own the oil counterpart to Arab Tradition! I just rolled a little on each wrist and there’s a very strong raspberry smell straight away – just like A.T. I then rubbed my wrists together which has now taken the scent to A.T’s drydown which is immediately very smokey. My bottle of A.T took about a month to develop this smokiness so to get this straight away is brilliant!
I hope this is as long lasting as A.T is. This will be excellent when applied to my arms when I’m wearing a few sprays of A.T to the chest and neck. 🙂

i so love this scent BUT i smelled it on a coupe of women at work. i mixed this oil with some moonshine and it sprays great. i do get the tobacco also and it is one of the best tobacco absolute i have ever smelled.man it smells so good so i wish i could tame the respberry a bit.it is just so damn recognizable as tuscan leather.

If you enjoy Tuscan Leather with a little less smoke, then you will love this! It’s so cheap, that it is a crime not to purchase this.

This is a very niche smelling oil, and it can be had for under $5! This smells like a raspberry cigar held between leather clad fingers. The silage and longevity are unreal. Don’t let the name turn you off, this one is wonderful.

Im so excited to see macho man in the database! I’ve been wearing this oil for a few months now and it’s outstanding! This smells very niche. There is no synthetic notes. It’s marketed to men but this imo is totally unisex. This can be worn alone or layered under other perfumes. I layer it under Wood Mystique sometimes. I also layer it under Chergui since the new formulation isn’t as long lasting, this helps it stick around forever! Macho man is intense, it can take a few minutes to really enjoy it and love it. It lasts very long and projects incredibly good. I smell the wood, suede, leather, rasperry, amber, and i swear there is tabacco in this. It reminds me of sitting by the wood fire place with grandpa smoking a cherry cigar while telling stories. Im in love with this oil, it’s amazing in the fall weather. I haven’t smelled a better wood and tabacco scent yet. Longevity is 24 hours on skin and days to weeks on clothes and jackets. Sillage fills a room then after a half hour it has sillage to an arms length and stays like that all day, you’ll walk in a cozy scented cloud all day and night and leave a beautiful scent trail. I have women and men ask me what I’m wearing and complimenting it continuously. A 6ml rollerball on Al-Rashad.com is only 3 dollars and it smells like it’s worth hundreds. This is a “noir” fragrance for sure! A true love that i will keep in my collection!! 🙂
