Description

Lovestruck is described as a sparkling, addictive floral, young in spirit yet classic. It was inspired by a modern day version of the story of Romeo and Juliet.

Lovestruck … the name of my brand new fragrance…All about being overwhelmed, inexplicably, hopelessly in love. Allowing yourself to feel passion inspite of yourself, the situation, the repercussions. A new definition of Romeo and Juliet! Sexy, sensual, and unstoppable!” Vera Wang.

The fragrance is created by Stephen Nilsen from Givaudan in collaboration with Doreen Bollhofer, under the supervision of the cosmetic company Coty. Lovestruck opens with notes of exotic and juicy pink guava and soothing angelica blossom. The middle notes “bloom” with tones of intoxicating and sensual tuberose with aquatic lotus flower. Precious woody notes and sheer musk form a solid perfume base.

The print and video campaign feature Leighton Meester, the star of the TV hit series Gossip Girl, while her “modern day Romeo” is Tommy Dunn, a male top model. Carter Smith photographed the campaign. Lovestruck comes in a bottle decorated with a tulle bow and deep berry flowers.

Available as 30, 50 and 100 ml EDP.
Lovestruck was launched in 2011.

Well first off what struck me about this was the bottle/cap. It is cool looking, and more ‘goth’ looking to me IRL than the pic’s I’ve seen online. It’s cool, I dig it. But the scent..? Meh. It’s interesting to see how fragrance reacts from skin to skin. On me, this strikes me as a gourmand/Fall/cooler weather type of scent, I do not get the Spring/Summer heavy votes, but again, skin can react differently. I usually have luck with Vera Wang fragrances for the most part, but to me this smells like a dime store fragrance (sorry), at least that is how it translates on my skin/to my nose. Very synthetic, cloying and borderline sickeningly sweet to me, unfortunately…I can’t even pick apart the notes, this is just sort or like a synthetically overly sweet celeb type fragrance. I don’t know, maybe some consider this a celeb fragrance..? Anyhoo…
Thinking this one is not a keeper for me, but I guess I will keep it because I dig the bottle and scored a bottle of this for $10.00USD at a discount store, so why not, lol..it is cool looking imho, and who knows, I may end up liking this at some point..it’s happened before with fragrances. Lasting power is not good at all, I get barely 2 hours before this becomes a very faint skin scent. Then it oddly just smells like BO on me (sorry)…
So, Lovestruck, while I can’t say that I like you, I can’t quite say that I dislike you, either…I guess I must see some potential with you, so I will hang onto you. I do like your bottle!! So, I will revisit you in the future, perhaps once cold weather rolls around again. But on my skin with the heat and humidity, your scent makes me think of what a bordello must smell like. Just not jiving well with my skin or to my nose. *shrug* Can’t win them all!

I really enjoy this one. A tangy, soft, clean musk that I reach for often in the summer. The balance is just right. Light and feminine.
It won’t blow your mind, but sometimes you want something easy to wear, like a favorite pair of jeans. And you can get it for a song online.
I hate the bottle cap, though. Tacky.

I don’t understand the reviews calling this a Princess duplicate. Yes, they are along the same vein of fragrance. They have the same underlying DNA and are both creamy florals. This one however contains no chocolate or vanilla. And IMO it’s different from other fruity florals in its class.
The distinction here is the creamy musk, which is the dominant feature of this perfume, and is complimented by the creaminess of the lotus and tuberose along with subtle woody nuances and a drop of juicy guava nectar. It’s fresh, creamy, and vaguely sweet. Not screechy or soapy like a lot of fresh florals.
The longevity is great but it’s the kind of fragrance the hides from plain sight. She caresses your skin like a sheer veil and whispers to you when you aren’t paying attention to her. No, it’s not a statement piece but I don’t believe it’s intended to be. Not every fragrance has to scream your presence at everyone around you. Lovestruck’s simplicity and soft embrace is what makes it enjoyable to me, particularly on a sunny Spring day. I love my femme fatale fragrances on nights out but on the average day I just want to smell nice and enjoy my fragrance while doing so.
This happens to be one of the only fruity florals I genuinely like.
    That creamy musk though… Mmmmmm.

Lovestruck is GREAT. Smells very classy, simple, gently clean, lightly sweet in everything and so feminine on me. Sillage is moderate and longevity lasts for hours on my skin. It “struck” my hubby’s attention in a good way. Recently bought a 3.4 oz tester bottle on eBay for $17 (with the beautiful floral bouquet cap and free shipping).
    Need I say more? 🙂

Blind buy for £20. Wanted to love it, especially that bottle is so beautiful. Had my eye on it here for a while since the promise was for it to be musky. Unfortunately, I mostly smell florals and very faintly too. Not happy. I will just use it up as day/work perfume. I do not hate it, but I don’t find it great either.
Update: Lasting power is a joke. It lasts maybe 5min at most!

This perfume opens really sweet, fruity floral kind of sweet, which I like. I was worried that it might be too overpowering but it turns much softer after 10 to 20 minutes. The drydown reminds me of the basenote of Jo Malone’s Black Cedarwood & Juniper, but a much lighter version of it. Probably some cedarwood?

To me, this fragrance is just one of those ‘nice” perfumes. It’s extremely light and fades away after a couple of hours.
I get the Guava, it’s quite fruity and floral and i’d say for all ages.
I wouldn’t wear this on a night out as it’s way too light. Also cos i don’t go out at night either LOL.
This is a good one if you’re popping to the shops and won’t be long…this is for you..
Also a good one for spraying just after a bath/shower when you just want a lazy day so you can at least smell some of your perfume without using an expensive one.
This is very affordable and i like the bottle.
It’s not strong or overpowering, it’s not offensive but if you’re gonna use this perfume for a day out or work then you’ll need to top up throughout the day.
Once my 100ml has gone i won’t be buying another one.
I do really like the fragrance though, nice sweet-ish smelling refreshing scent. 😉

Iam not a fan , to me this is not sweet , but very dry and musky .
    A very strong overbearring perfume.
Infact i coughed a few times.

A blind buy, $19.99 for 1.7oz. I’m not particularly impressed by it. When I first applied it to my wrist, I finally understood what people mean when they say something smells “soapy” or like bodywash. There was an indistinct fruity sweetness, which I’m guessing was the guava, that swirled with a light, unfamiliar floral, perhaps the angelica. It slowly became unpleasant, and it took me a few minutes to figure out why I disliked it. The musk I had been looking forward to was nowhere to be found, and everything had been replaced by a powder finish. I am not a fan of powdery perfumes and my chemistry turned this into nothing but powdery. I actually tried to scrub it off, but even several hours later, I can still smell it on my wrist.
I don’t much care for it, but I’m sure this might work just fine for someone else.

  11. :

I loved it on paper, but on me it is just a very soapy and watery guava. Doesn’t last or smell like anything much.
Bottle looks cheap too. What a waste of money.

  12. :

    5 out of 5

My initial small bottle was very juicy, lots of guava…yum. Used it up much too quickly. My next, largest bottle was no fruit & all musk…sad. Going to try another small bottle again & hoping for fruit.

On my skin it smells exactly like a lighter version of Black XS by Paco Rabanne, slightly more on the masculine side. But it lacks both the longevity and projection because after half an hour I can barely smell it. What a shame, I would love this for spring season. It just seems like a waste of money because of the pook longevity but I think I am gonna buy a bottle anyway, because it is just lovely!
GREETINGS FROM THE CZECH REPUBLIC! 🙂

I am addicted to this perfume. she should release it in a parfum, named angelica since it is just not strong enough. but still, an addict just wants MORE. a masterpiece

  15. :

    3 out of 5

I would describe Lovestruck as a sparkling, but soft perfume. It does smell very Young and fresh, slightly aquatic with soft notes of floral. I love it, even though the dry down could be better in my opinion. After a while, though you still smell all the beautiful notes, it becomes a bit botter on my skin anyway. If you are looking to buy a nice first perfume to a teenager, I’d say go for this one. It is not a fruitbomb at all and it is very classy so the girl will feel like she’s wearing a real adult perfume. It is a very safe scent for office and, even thouh it is more a of a daytime scent, it can fit very good for the night, especially a hot summer night.

  16. :

    3 out of 5

I love every part of this perfume except the longevity and sillage. It doesn’t last more than an hour on me, unfortunately. I feel like the bottle is a kind of tacky, but many find it beautiful. I don’t really care either way.
On me this is pretty linear. A cool, aquatic floral. It almkst smells like a cold cup of water with an edible water lily in it. This is great for summer, for romantic dates, or for anything casual. Definitely a day scent to me, this wouldn’t survive at night.
If you like low-key floral awuatics, try this. You won’t be disappointed.

  17. :

    3 out of 5

love the opening, musky sweet in the middle, soft dry own, it reminded me a bit of la vie est belle in the sweet creaminess and the general smell.
    doesn’t have aromatics or spice.
not huge lasting power, but a nice fragrance if you want a light warm sweet scent

  18. :

    3 out of 5

This scent is lovely, and actually not to too sweet at all. It’s light and sophisticated, reminiscent of fresh fruits and springtime weather. It is very light on the skin, and although it has a decent longevity the scent is very subtle. I also LOVE the packaging and don’t thing it is tacky at all. It’s my favourite perfume bottle and I like to show it off.

I tried this years ago and loved it, so when I saw it on sale this past Cyber Monday I jumped on the offer and bought it. Unfortunately, it was nothing like I remembered. It has a very boring, almost cheap smell. I could not smell any guava in it and it does not last long at all. Luckily.

  20. :

    4 out of 5

It smells like a candied floral. Guava, lotus and angelica (I think those are the notes that I smell the most). I used to find it somewhat powdery. Now it seems mostly floral/fruity.
In addition: I started wearing perfume again a few years ago (used to get headaches) This was gifted to me. I found it quite strong and sweet which seems funny to me now because it seems like a mid/light scent. Others around me would comment on it being floral but I’ve always found it to be sweet & fruity. This used to be a favorite of mine but I’ve come to love others and lovestruck has moved down to like/love.

  21. :

This was an impulsive blind-buy when I saw a 100ml box on clearance for $10. The bottle is cute enough so I figured it wouldn’t be a huge loss if it stunk.
It definitely doesn’t stink, but Lovestruck must be one one of the most boring fragrances I’ve ever laid nose on! Watery guava with the tiniest hint of musk. It’s abysmally mediocre, completely devoid of personality other than “nice”. I kept waiting for it to do anything – good or bad – on my skin…but there it sat for about 15 minutes before it faded out. The saddest perfume encounter I’ve had in a long while.

  22. :

UK lovers of this scent. It is now on special in savers
    £19.99 for 100ml!
I am now onto my third bottle of this beautiful juice, dewy and aquatic tropical fruit smell. Well worth the money for how cheap it is, though it is definitely a skin scent! It is mystical and wispy and romantic feeling. Think butterflies in your tummy!

  23. :

    3 out of 5

I did not like this much. What I smell is pure musk? Does love smell like musk? I don’t think so. Shouldn’t have bought this blindly. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

  24. :

    3 out of 5

I bought my 3.4 oz bottle at TJ Maxx for $20. It was a blind buy. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the scent.
It’s sweet, but not sickening, and musky, but not overwhelming or heavy. As someone else stated, it’s sophisticated enough for a twenty-something-year-old without feeling silly. It’s a perfect “safe sexy” scent. I definitely smell the guava, musk, and lotus. I swear I smell plum, too, but it is not listed in the notes. It melts with my body chemistry nicely and turns into a slightly creamy, delicious smell. It reminds me of a more grown-up version of Dark Kiss from Bath and body Works, combined with an old Victoria’s Secret Pink “Clean” body wash I used to have.
I see this as a potential every day scent. It’s a casual scent that could be “dressed up” so to speak. It wears nicely into the nighttime. I feel it would be a beautiful scent for fall and winter especially. I find it lasts about 3 hours on my skin, which is on the low end of moderate, and it sits rather close to the skin without a trail.
My boyfriend likes this scent! He loves sweet scents.

  25. :

    4 out of 5

A fresh, fruity/musk that was made to appeal to the 20-something crowd, but I find it sophisticated enough to wear without feeling silly. Definitely a casual/office scent.

  26. :

    4 out of 5

I must say I love the bottle but I hate the lipstick-on-a-teenage-mirror esthetic of the Lovestruck typography, I would have preferred a classic clean cursive for the title.
What about the scent? I am really liking the guava-musk-lotus combo in this. I can also detect the mandarin orange. My favorite band has an album called Pure Guava so it’s a bit of an inside joke whenever I wear this, because it really does smell like a pure/clean guava. Full bottle worthy? Maybe.

  27. :

    3 out of 5

Maybe Lovestruck isn’t love, but it definitely gives a struck feeling. It’s like a firework that evolves slowly on the skin. The bottle is ‘too much’ and because of it and the ad, I was waiting a more floral scent. At least, Leighton Meester is so likable.
Finally, a ‘romantic’ perfume that doesn’t smell like an ordinary one. When I saw the notes in the past, I wasn’t impressed at all. Same feeling when I first smelled it today. I have to admit that the top notes are soft and attractive. The middle and base one aren’t nice according to my taste. It fits to younger, restless spirited crowds that dislike classics.
I get an aquatic, slightly ‘dirty’ green vibe combined with a fruity/floral garden, something didn’t expect at all. It’s like a girl dressed formal who feels bored from the fancy party, so decides to wear her leather jacket above her dress and leave fast. She runs in recently watered gardens at night and everyone smell her, run behind her due to addiction.

  28. :

    5 out of 5

It reminds me of cooking at night with candles on, wearing a nice long dress with pearl earrings.
I can smell the guava perfectly.
I wish it would last longer.
    On a scale of 1-5…
    I give it a 3.5
It smells very nice, but does not last long at all.

I’ve had this in a rollerball for years. I think I’d intended to purchase the full size since it’s super pretty, but just forgot. I rediscovered this last night when my husband complimented me.
It starts off very bright and floral, like cupcakes, tuberose, and something slightly plummy. In a few minutes, I can smell vanilla and musk, and something slightly like Elmer’s glue or latex with musk.
Hours later, I can smell some red berries develop on me, and the next morning, it still smelled like a delicate tuberose cupcake on musk.
It’s kind of like Vera Wang Princess, but slightly more grown-up.

  30. :

this was a blind buy and I am underwhelmed. Its very light sweetly scented floral with sort of tropical fruity feel. Nice bottle but scent for some reason smells very teenage girl to me. Its also very weak and you have to spray yourself all over the place and over again.
I have not met Vera Wang perfume that I really loved and this is no exception. I am glad I got it for only 12 dollars.

Ahhh… Lovestruck, I have very fond memories with you.
I received a full 3.4 oz bottle from my loving boyfriend back when we were in High School together. Memories in a bottle! (Along with Taylor Swift’s Wonderstruck and VS Love spell) This one got me quite in the mood for romance! It’s a simple, soft, musky floral scent with a touch of sweetness from the guava. I never got much of the mandarin orange note, and if I did, it was very fleeting. I also get zero tuberose in this fragrance. The main stars in this Vera Wang creation are strictly the guava and lotus, on a bed of gorgeous soft musk and woods. It’s perfect for every day wear, and I gravitate towards this demure beauty in the spring and summer months. (and possibly even early fall) However, the only downside is it’s so light, even with 5+ sprays you’ll have to reapply every so often. (2-3 hours max) Vera Wang’s perfumes are always inspired by love and romance, and this one is no exception! Lovely creamy scent with a subtle skin musk. If you’re just starting your perfume journey, and prefer light fruity floral scents with a noticeable muskiness, then give this one a try! Plus, the bottle is to die for!! It looks beautiful sitting on my vanity. <3
    Scent: 7/10
Longevity: Roughly 3 hours on me
    Sillage: Soft, very soft.

I like this… My family doesn’t tho, it’s very floral, but not the flower part, but the stem/green/dirt part (if that makes sense lol) it still has a sweet scent and I actually like to layer this with my RIRI by Rhianna

I use to own this perfume, I bought it back in 2011. By 2014 it turned and smelt like pure alcohol. I always keep all my perfumes in the correct environment so it shouldn’t have turned. Other than that it smelled very good when it was new. Very light and last a few hours.

  34. :

I usually hate strong floral scents so im very surprise that it isn’t that bad the guava in this balances out with the flower ingredient it also has a hint of sweetness,i give it 7 out of 10

  35. :

Ive bought this for my 17 year old neice. I tested it and its nice and safe, in my opinion in a “light blue” kind of way. If I owned it I would wear it in spring and summer during the day

  36. :

    3 out of 5

I LOVE the angelica note in this perfume.
It’s the green, grassy, citrus(more of a sharp green citrus, not a juicy fruit citrus) note of angelica that sets this perfume apart from all the other sweet perfumes out there.
Wrapped underneath the angelica is the guava, which adds a great deal of sweetness. The sweetness from guava is pretty much the heart of this perfume. The flowers are only barely present. Good thing that there is still a little bit of the angelica in the heart that cuts through the would’ve-been cloying sweetness.
The woodsy and musky notes in the base wrap tightly from underneath, gives the entire perfume a warm, sexy feel. The warm base also makes it more of a winter scent rather than a summer tropical scent. I don’t like wearing this during hot weathers since the sweetness can get overwhelming.
On my skin, this perfume tends to get sweeter overtime as the angelica note wears off. But the notes are more stable on clothes. I love how this smells on my leather jacket. It makes the leather smell fresh and luxurious. 😀
Overall, I think this is a good perfume. It’s unique in a way that it’s freshly green and warm toasty at the same time. It’s sweet with a little bit of sophistication, but still very young and lively. Longevity is roughly 5 hours, but only 2 for the angelica…The elaborate design of the bottle and cap, even though irrelevant, is very pretty. 😀

  37. :

    4 out of 5

The bottle is kind of cheap dime store looking. It doesn’t make you want to try this fragrance at all. However, it you look beyond that this smells delightful. You could take off the big plastic cap and then it doesn’t look like it came from Woolworths.
It’s light hearted and pretty smelling. It has a playful mood to it.
You can get a large bottle for a discount price since it didn’t sell with the gaudy bottle . Most of Vera Wang perfumes come in a subtle low key bottle, they went out on a limb with this bottle and it didn’t work.

  38. :

    4 out of 5

Fruity-green,nice, but not special. There are similar cheaper perfume out there.

  39. :

    4 out of 5

This is truly unusual – guava and tuberose! I don’t notice even an hint of angelica, but maybe it’s just blended in too well. I bought this scent for my daughter because she fell for the adorable bottle, but I find myself wearing it often for a quick spritz of prettiness. This is one of those fragrances that so many people compliment, even when I think it’s long-gone. I categorize Love Struck in the section with my easier-to-wear/all-purpose perfumes. (Yes, I categorize my fragrances. Is that weird?) Others in the category are Philosophy Love Sweet Love & Loveswept, Fresh Pink Jasmine, Aqua Allegorias, Bobbi Brown Beach.

  40. :

    5 out of 5

This is the only floral fragrance that I can wear and enjoy! The musky notes are more prominent which compliments the floral aspect of the fragrance. I tend to gravitate towards this scent in the colder months and at night time but it is still a wearable daytime scent for all year round.

  41. :

    4 out of 5

The sillage on this fragrance is very low I can hardly smell it.
What I do smell is balanced well, however.

  42. :

    5 out of 5

It is a very romantic EDT, and on my skin it smells like vanilla with raspberries. Be careful about how much you put on though. It was very heavy when I sprayed myself three times.

  43. :

    5 out of 5

I loved this perfume when I smelled it on the tester paper. It was so fruity and musky and amazing. Then I tested it on my skin and it turned stale. It does not mix well with my body chemistry which is such a shame because I loved how awesome it smells, and I couldn’t wait to display the bottle on my vanity.

  44. :

    4 out of 5

This fragrance was gifted to me today, and it’s not bad. To be honest, I feel this scent is a bit young for a 28 year old, but it was a gift from a friend. You definitely get the hit of guava right away, and then I get a smooth transition to floral and a light bit of musk.
I have to be honest, I hate the cap. I can get around the ridiculous logo on the bottle, but that cap… It looks like something a 14 or 15 year old would keep in their locker, no offense to teens. I took a lid from an old empty bottle, and thankfully, it fits well so I’ve remedied that issue I have with it.
This scent is something I’d wear in the spring and summer, it’s decent, but nothing to write home about. I probably won’t purchase this in the future, but I do like it as a gift. I think it’s well suited to the under 25 crowd, but I’ll still wear it.

  45. :

    5 out of 5

Lovestruck is a little sweet and yet gorgeous. I purchased a rollerball and enjoyed it this past Spring/Summer. It is refreshing and beautiful. I like the guava and floral notes. It is a bit young but romantic and elegant.
    9/10

  46. :

    4 out of 5

IMO lovestruck is a very weird scent. When i first spray it’s so sweet, candy sweet like Lancome La Vie Est Belle but after a while the dry down smells exactly like Purr by Katy Perry, so weird. Anyway, it still smell good. Sillage and longevity is moderate. 8/10

  47. :

    3 out of 5

A fresh, fruity musk marketed toward twenty-somethings, but I do like it when I need an uncomplicated fragrance. It’s not too sweet, which I appreciate. Good for the office. Hate the silly bottle cap, but the bottle matches the juice inside. Not worth buying at retail price as it’s not that special, but I will pick up a bottle at a discount.

  48. :

Autumn is just beginning and I want to feel pretty and captivating. So which scent do I reach for. This one of course. I honestly don’t understand how people are saying this is generic and lacks uniqueness. I have never smelled anything like this in my life. I can easily identify this one on people. Its fruity and aquatic but in a dewy dark way, well… as dark and as fruity as aquatic can be. The best guava perfume ever. This perfume reminds me of a young woman who wants to be intimate but to remain free and spontaneous and unobtainable all the while. I wore this all of last autumn and it is heart warming and comforting, yet intoxicatingly, deliciously mouth-watering too. It is very gourmand to me. Those deep dewy juicy notes just work for me. Yes for this is a very yummy fragrance, seems to me to be perfect for intimacy. Men love this one and go wild for it if you spray it on your neck. I only wish the silage were strong and powering. I give it an 8 out of 10 for that reason. I will always have this in my collection. It is a unique fruity fragrance and it stands apart from the rest.

  49. :

Sweet, “fuzzy” berries and woods, this blend feels like hot, hot heat and like the olfactory interpretation of a blush. It’s crisp, melon-y sweet with an elegant, velvety warmth. “Lovestruck” is like a giddy, cartoon hearts-laden, crush. I love it :)!

  50. :

    5 out of 5

This is a light, musky, powdery, floral scent. Doesn’t make me think of being Lovestruck, it doesn’t have that pow factor to it. It’s a very pleasant easy to wear fragrance. The opening starts off with a light musky/citrusy wave, then the dry down doesn’t stray too far away from that light musky scent only it gets more woodsy. The key word for this fragrance is “light”. It is not a heavy scent by no means, the longevity of this is pretty good, I can still smell it on my clothes at the end of the day. It does have a powdery quality to it, but is still nice without being too “grandma-ish”. To me, it’s just a nice soft floral fragrance, nothing overly special about it. The bottle is gorgeous and probably outdoes the fragrance really.

  51. :

Generic sweet floral, that has a bit of energy at the start but goes away very very quickly. Young, impatient, and fleeting, much like a lovestruck teen.

I really loved this, but the staying power is so weak 🙁

  53. :

    4 out of 5

It’s light and musky and romantic. Lovely bottle. But the scent is not really memorable to me, and I think it lacks dimensions I love in my top shelf perfumes. But then again, I don’t mind this at all and I would use it more often when I don’t feel complicated and just want to go smelling good.
Update: I wore this yesterday after work and it was a lot more powdery. Strange.

  54. :

amazing. i think this has to be my new signature. musk is one of my favorite notes, it’s not too heavy in this perfume, really sexy but still in a sweet way.

This was a present in a gift set from my brother last year. Loved it so much it didn’t take long to empty the whole bottle. Its a pleasantly sweet and uplifting summery scent, but…. it didn’t last long on me at all.
Had to re-apply throughout the day.

I usually stay away from musky ‘grown up’ perfumes but I feel like this is very fresh and sweet.. I would repurchase 🙂

For the past two years I’ve been trying to place the luscious, tropical scent wafting off of my friend, and when I accidentally picked up the Lovestruck body lotion (it was cheap and mislabeled as a fragrance) she finally informed me that this was her go to scent. This fragrance has some interesting layers, on my friend it starts fresh and fruity (definitely pink guava in there), turns tropical, and dries down to a musky floral.
On myself it’s a much less attractive scent, I can’t really pick out specific notes, it sort of just smells like a sort of fruity, synthetic musky floral. I’m not sure what they have in common, but it kind of reminds me of a fruitier Daisy by Marc Jacobs, it might just be me though. Longevity isn’t great but it could be worse, but this is a close-to-the-skin scent on me, it doesn’t project at all. No idea how I managed to detect it on my friend.

I used to really love this. Princess(original) and this are very similar. Though I find Lovestruck to be a bit “deeper” and more mature. The dry down makes me feel sick now…it’s musky but fruity all at once, and it just doesn’t sit well with me anymore.
It’s a nice scent, though, but not unique. The bottle is absolutely gorgeous.

The bottle is gorgeous. It is beautiful and classy.
The perfume is a sweet floral, that is a bit fruity. It smells absolutely lovely.
It has poor sillage and does not last long. I hate to report that no one has ever commented on my perfume, but I think it is mainly because no one can smell it, no matter how little or how much I use.
It’s a beautiful perfume, with a beautiful bottle, but it isn’t strong or long lasting.

I thought this perfume smelled really nice but simply too sweet for me, but I recieved it as a gift anyway because I mentioneed how I adore the bottle. At My delight, the scent starts light, but turns dark, which I love. It’s a favorite for sure. The ony problem is that that it doesn’t last long. I have to carry a rollerball.

The fragrance is great but i could do without the nasty plastic lid. I am always suspicious of perfumes that put more into the bottle than unto the scent, and i only got this as a gift, the lid putting me off buying it myself. Give me a simple bottle with all the efforts going into the juice and i am there. I sometimes think the ornate lids and bottles are done to divert you from the actual juice inside. Is that why most new fragrances either smell or fruit, vanilla or sugar? It reminds me of the old adage ” never mind the quality, feel the width”
Perfume makers, keep it simple and spend the money on the juice, nit the bottle it goes in!!

Could’ve sworn praline was the top most note from smelling it… confused. Praline + berry is what I get, similar to Killer Queen on me. Hm.

Lovestruck is a mild, people-pleasing perfume. I think it would be pretty impossible to offend someone’s senses while wearing this. This would make a good gift for somebody just getting into perfume. It’s a mildly musky, fizzy floral with a pleasant fruitiness that reminds me of Fancy Love.
Unfortunately, my skin eats up fragrance and I have to reapply every 2 hours.

I agree with the ratings that say this perfume is very musky but I also smell some aspects of vanilla in there as well.
It’s a nice perfume but it’s a little on the soft side when you think about silage and longevity which could be something you’re looking for in a perfume.
Overall this is a nice perfume you could get away with wearing pretty much all year round. The main problem would probably be the bottle. It is so pretty but the thick glass bottom is just a little heavy.

My very best friend got me the large bottle of this for Christmas. I had already owened be jeweled by vera so this was my 2nd foray with vera and I really am growing to like this one. The scent smells so sweet at times and I can smell a hint of spice and musk. I find I love it before bed on just skin. Not on clothes. Doesn’t overly power the nose. I enjoy this one!

I like this one, it smells like a lollipop and strong guava. It’s fresh yet sweet. Sweeter because I only paid $23 for it!

I am glad I am not the only one who finds this dried down like Fancy Love. If you like Fancy Love, Taylor Swift or Elizabeth Arden Fifth Avenue Style or Burberry you may like this. There is a hint of the original princess in here but only slightly. When I first smelt this I thought it was very pretty and a nice combination of the original Princess mixed with some sweet fruit but then it just dried down to a creamy white floral. If only it stayed the way it was when first sprayed it would have been a nice summer alternative to Princess. I too broke mine trying to get it out of the box the square bottle and the huge lid fit so tight into the gift set that as I tried to pull it out the lid came off and broke the spray nozzle. I have to leave it at home now I cannot take it with me because it leaks everywhere. It doesn’t last long on me so it is a pain in that respect. Overall it is a nice perfume but a little musky and non descriptor it could have been better but somehow it just misses the point I am not sure what Vera was trying to achieve with this?
With the lid if that had been mettle and shiny it would appear nicer. The plastic they used gives it a cheap feeling and it gets dusty straight away. I think it is supposed to be like a bouquet of flowers with the ribbon around the stems like what brides use for their wedding bouquet but the plastic material lets it down. The same with Marc Jacobs. If it wasn’t horrible rubbery plastic that he uses the lids wouldn’t bother me so much.

Exceptional bottle! The fragrance, however, is just so-so. I’m glad I got it on sale because I would not have purchased it without a serious price slash.

I like it but its gone pretty quickly for me and is pretty soft and unremarkable. If I just want something nice for the office, I
