I think I’m too old to appreciate this one now and I was too old to appreciate it when it came out in the early 2000s. I do remember my youngest sister wearing it and she still loves it, largely for what I suspect are for nostalgic reasons. To that end, she has received the bottle I recently unearthed that had never been opened. Perhaps Love Spell is to her generation what CK One was to mine (1993-94 on the first encounter). To each their own, I say! If you can make this work for you, fantastic!

Let’s be real, what American girl *didn’t* wear this in her teens/early twenties?? It was the ultimate gateway fragrance. Heck, I was the weird goth kid (still kinda am), and I went out of my way to own every Love Spell product ever released. (My favorite, aside from the EDT, was the body scrub.) Like it or not, it was a one-of-a-kind scent that I haven’t seen replicated.
I don’t subscribe to the belief that certain scents are only appropriate for one specific age group or gender. If you like it, wear it! That said, something about this takes me back to times that weren’t all that enjoyable, so I’m happy to relegate it to my “Had” shelf for now.

Sweet and sour with a hint of smoke and plastic, the first whiff will draw you in and make you fall in love, by the third use you never want to smell it again. Take into account this was worn by so many girls and young women when I was in school, so the fragrance became annoying very quickly. It also is just an intense strange mix of scents, but not in a good way. Definitely a love-hate super nostalgic fragrance.

When my son lived with me in his teen and some of his adult years, I noticed he would get in the shower and wash with my LS bath soap every time I had some. It does make a person smell clean and good. Then he would layer his Euphoria for men over it. Maybe he was hoping for a secret love spell underneath. I wish they would bring back the bath products. I have not seen it for awhile now. Love Spell is a keeper and hopefully they will not over reformulate it. Some things are good just like they are. It will be a keeper in my family.

Buying this as a gift for my 11 year old daughter, as a welcome home present from camp (though camp is its own present). It’s clean yet sweet, girly. Her mama will wear the grown up version, Burberry Black, which is also a peach fragrance, but with edge.

I can comment about the body lotion only, which I find lovely!
That’s my benchmark for uncomplicated, linear, hyper feminine fruity floral.
Cherry blossom is a double-edged flavor that can be too aquatic, bitter, sickeningly sweet in the worst artificial way; or on the contrary, young, clean and tender, in a maternal way.
BTW, I’m encountering the same dichotomy with apple blossom.
Fortunately, this is the second rendition I get from Love Spell. So flowery fresh.
The juicy, sparkling fruits – peachy notes, mainly – marry the clean flowers perfectly.
Neither candy sweet, nor opulent: a springtime scent for young girls and women alike.
I understand the EDT was worn by every high school girl and her mother, decades ago, hence some fellow Fragranticians are sick of it!
In Spain, there’s no Victoria’s Secret shop, except for some recent additions in main airports.
People hardly know about their cosmetics, while expressing a vague interest for their Fashion Shows.
Accessing their products was extremely limited not so long ago – I had to order from a French online shop!
Therefore, it’s always interesting to read about a brand that’s been in USA forever, while it’s barely popular where I live.
    More for me then!

To me, this smells exactly like those Minute Maid Fruit Punch juice boxes I used to drink in elementary school. Not a bad thing – that’s just what it smells like!

I wore the body lotion for a long time and I just bought the fragrance. I love the freshness of this scent and the sweetness is so light and fresh if that makes any sense!! The cherry blossom note is what I smell most and the musky notes are a great compliment to the cherry blossom. I love spraying this on after I’ve had a shower and applied the body lotion. Great fresh scent.

I remember alot of the more “popular” girls in high school wore this and I was sooo in love with it but never knew what it was called.
I went to Victoria Secret for the first time and was smelling their fragrances at the checkout and realized this was what everyone was wearing!
I was obsessed with peach and fruity scents back then, it’s definitely girly and an all round people pleaser.
I wouldn’t repurchase but this is a day fragrance that just makes people happy, kinda like a sweeter Clinique Happy to me.

I’m sorry to say I’m not a fan. Smells like the cleaning lotion they use in some public toilets, sickly sweet and artificial.
I read some reviews on here and was excited to smell this one being a big fan of Victoria’s secret fragrance line. Sadly, love spell did not live up to it’s good reviews for me.
One thing great about it though was it’s staying power-but since I did not like the fragrance- unfortunately, this was just another annoyance. I found myself scrubbing it off.
I would *not* like to smell this on a woman.

I actually love this smell. It smells just like juicy peaches and fruits. Love Spell smells sweet, juicy, fresh, and a bit sexy. It is definitely a younger scent, but it smells good!

In 9th grade a girl in class walked by me and she smelled soooooooo good through the whole class i kept thinking about how good she smelled.so I asked her what she was wearing and she told me love spell. That day I got my dad to take me to the mall to get it and when I sprayed it he was like omg that smells good. My dad bought love spell for his gf at the time now he buys it for his wife anytime he has to get a girl/woman a gift he always gets them love spell lol I’m 30 now and he still talks about love spell it really cast a spell on him haha

to me love spell semlls exactly like fruit leather or sour gummy bear candies which means it’s definitely fruity with a sweet/sour touch and unfortunately exactly like the mentioned candies, artificial.
There are days that I enjoy the way love spell smells, but there are also days that I can’t bear it. I think I prefer pure seduction much more. I have a small decant and a full body lotion that I don’t think I would gonna finish before all other favorites ones.

Many years, ago,My niece smelled so fresh and beautiful & when I asked she told me it’s Love spell by VS which had just come out!I never bothered with VS frags! In fact, my signature was Estee’ at the time.
I just wanted this refreshing change for once in a while…My husband purchased the body butter and mist for me! It was heavenly…Body butter was excellent in all respects…A huge jar! The ‘mist’ was light enough to pair with the silky soft butter all over me! The feel was uplifting for me ,clean scent of what”I thought” was a back round of pink grapefruit, mixed with a fruit I could not place, and some floral tones (I could not quite detect, what flowers they were!)I felt a citrus keeping down anything ‘too sweet’ and what may have been cloying & too sweet without having that note I sensed as grapefruit!
I would carry the mist in purse and spray on back of neck if I felt too hot!…My husband loved this too!..
.As time went on I eventually got the EDP…Lasted longer even without body butter!Received Compliments all the time on Love Spell…One guy said, “wow! You can tell, you have classy expensive taste…You sure don’t wear cheap perfume!”…Now,I did have Estee on from the morning (after my shower,I always put estee on)…So…The mingling of Estee apparently went well with Love spell!
My neice gave me Pure seduction for my Bday feeling I would like it if I liked LS! She was right!! I’m not a lover of so much fruit usually,in one blast, but PS worked well for me…And Hubby too!!!
My teen daughter also was using these 2 VS fragrances along with me and Loved both!I was in my late 40’s!! Age just didn’t matter with the original formulations…
These 2 perfumes brought me to try VS Basic instinct & could not believe how gorgeous of a fragrance! How different for VS line , usually very sugared fruity and florals, with the exception of a couple decently balanced frags, such as Love Spell & pure seduction)…Basic Instinct was so different, then anything yet put out by VS, but in a good way!…A more mature(but not what young girls today call old lady!!)BI was a sexy , seductive scent,of a woman who knows who she is and comfortable in her own skin with patchouli as main player, with only hints of floral and fruit(I have a review on the original Basic instinct already, therefore, I will stop about that one!
I am 60 now…but if the formulas hadn’t changed on the love spell & pure seduction,I would be using when the mood fit!Strawberries and Champagne too ,once was a decent scent! The dry down was amazing on all I speak of here and lasted much longer!I have an original Basic Instinct and gave it to my daughter when she turned 20,recently…I only wish I had the Love spell still as I also would gift her with that for she used to enjoy the happy refreshing feel…I know my daughters live in a world in which the depths of fragrances hardly exist, and when I part with my loves for them,I know how much it means to them, coming from me,who they know how saddened I’ve become by reformulations of perfumes which were mood elevators for me especially after losing my husband!I even parted with my original knowing,by EL,to my 30 year old daughter!Oh, how my girls love these real treasures of the past and know I do too!…True gifts from the heart giving away the original loves of life from years gone by…Parting is such sweet sorrow..

Although I’ve reviewed this perfume a few times already, I feel that it’s really important to mention the fact that this has been reformulated a few times since this was put on the market.
I still really enjoy love spell and I have for quite some time but I was just reminded of how really beautiful and unique this scent used to be by a picture of it in the old packaging.
Love spell is very much still its bubbly, fruity, and fresh self but it’s been given this syrupy makeover that I like but don’t love. This scent back in the day (early 2000’s) was bubbly and fruity and fresh just like now but it had a soapy quality to it. The soapy vibe really fed into the fresh and really wearable aspects and it wasn’t too sweet.
After the few reformulations this has endured I’ve noticed people not being too keen on how syrupy sweet this can be. I really wish perfume houses would refrain from taking scents that have a cult following and deciding to put a modern or current twist on them. I really feel they should leave them as they are because, people are willing to shell out more cash for the scents they love instead of experiencing reformulation. These perfume houses should instead maybe add a sister or brother fragrance called ‘so and so scent with a modern twist’ and leave it at that.
I suppose why I decided to pick love spell as my example of this frustration is because while I still love it, i’m tortured with the realization that every fragrance I love has been reformulated. I also suppose another reason I chose to leave this rant here is also the fact that this scent is widely popular and maybe some of you feel the same way I do. I swear, we should have a protest and demand our favorite scents be brought back from these annoying and sometimes dreadful reformulations!

I think I wrote a review a long time ago saying I wasn’t to keen on it and it’s rare I go from not liking something to liking it it’s more likely the other way around for me. But I have given this another try and I don’t hate it! I used to only smell kind of this aspirin smell but now I’m smelling more of the fruity notes which is great. Certainly not a top 5 favorite but I wore it the other day and a woman said I smell lovely.

    * These are my personal experiences/thoughts with this fragrance. Yours/others may differ. *
    — My notes pertain to the Body Mist version —
    Initial – peach + apple
    Drydown – peach + jasmine + lilac + musk
    Duration – 2-3 hours
    Projection – moderate
Experiences – I like this as an after-shower bedtime scent. It’s a very juicy peach dominated scent that has very limited longevity, but lasts long enough for me to enjoy falling asleep to it.
Quick Thoughts – super girly, peachy, sweet, fruity
Lotion – The matching lotion is the exact same scent. Will extend the scent another couple of hours if paired with the body mist.

This is such a unique scent that is very hard to describe. It’s fruity and fresh but had almost a sour undertone to it. I have days I love it and days I hate it. I’ve noticed it smells best on clean freshly showered skin in warm weather.

My 81 year old grandmother has been wearing this for over a decade, and switches between this and Avon Imari. But this is her favorite of all time and she just rocks it like it was made for her, while I am in my mid 20’s and more into things like Tabu and Tabac Blond. Needless to say, everyone would benefit from forgetting their preconceptions concerning “age appropriate” fragrances. Wear what you like! After all, we mainly wear perfume for ourselves rather than others, right?

  24. :

I bought this blindly off the internet thinking I’d love it because of peach and cherry blossoms, but either I have gotten a bad one or this stuff is just awful. It smells completely synthetic and cheap. Too bad. 🙁

    Oh, Love Spell.
I don’t have the middle school/high school associations with the scent everyone else seems to…guess I’m old; I was already out of high school when this came out if the year of origin cited here is correct.
I first smelled this on a girl I was cast in a show with in, probably 2001, and it was arresting. I said ‘You smell like Hawaiian Punch! What is that??’
Thinking about it now I’m not sure if she realized I meant it as a compliment but she didn’t seem offended, and said ‘it’s Love Spell from VS’ and very shortly after I had a bottle of the most concentrated form (edt I believe but hey, 2001 was a long time ago; maybe it was edp). It came in a glass bottle and kept very well; I actually only gave away the last bottle from my binge buy last year.
VS has a well-earned rep for putting out scents that are less than rubbish in the longevity and sillage departments. Famous for edp that only lasts forty-five minutes. Uh, not this one. This is one of the few beast-mode champs left there. No worries as to will I get my money’s worth in this regard.
There is little else to say if you don’t already know the scent. If you are American it would be hard to believe you have never smelled this. But go get a can of the old red Hawaiian Punch. Chill it up good. Now pop the top and take a whiff. Have a big, cold swig. Love Spell smells EXACTLY like Hawaiian Punch tastes, if that makes sense. (The drink is also very fragrant, so if you can’t drink it for whatever reason, have a waft.
I adored Hawaiian Punch as a child. It was my boo, my ride or die. So for years of early adulthood I reveled in smelling like it. I actually am not one of those who believe scent has age category; if a teen thinks Mitsouko smells good, great. If an old lady thinks Pink Sugar is jammin’, why does anyone else need an opinion??
So I actually would still wear this, even if just around the house; but now I notice it gives me headache to the point of nausea, and every time I try, so off to a different home it went.
Sad, because it used to be one of the few that DIDN’T do it to me.
But Love Spell, I remember you fondly,

Love Spell takes me right back to sixth grade (early 2000s). I remember it being the pretten girl’s answer to Axe body spray, and I’ll forever associate it with junior high school locker rooms.
I smelled it on a 22-year-old coworker the other day and I thought it seemed too young for her. It also strikes me as kind of dated – fruit punch concentrate hasn’t been in style for at least ten years.

  27. :

I bought this blind during a sale, thinking it must be tolerable since it’s so popular. Well, it’s like spraying grape Kool Aid… Maybe I got a bad bottle? No clue, but it’s terrible!

  28. :

    3 out of 5

This is like a very ripe peach but definitely not rotting. It’s more fruity than floraly. You can also smell the apple somewhere in the explosion of ripe peach.
The rotting peach smell is probably just the “tamarind” note. It’s blended in with the peach so well that everyone must have thought it’s a very ripe peach borderline rotting. It’s definitely tamarind because you can smell the sourness above all the sweet fruitiness.
Drydown on my skin smells sour, the tamarind was dominant. It was sweet and sour at the same time like a sour candy. This drydown review is when I’ve been under the sun for a few hours.
Dominant Notes: A very ripe peach blended in with a ripe tamarind
    Drydown: Tamarind-peach candy
Sillage: Arms length for an hour or so, close to skin for the next following hours
Longetivity: 4-6hours which sits close to skin

For some reason I spray Love Spell on at the beach. It makes me happy. It’s extremely fruity, and lasts very long, especially on cotton clothes.

Who grew up smelling this fragrance????? This is perfect for young girls who likes sweet fruity candies. Definately too young for me right now and makes me feel a bit nauseated.

Rotting fruits? Did they reformulate this? This always smelled very fresh to me. Like fresh, sweet, slightly tart peaches.

  32. :

    5 out of 5

Fresh, wet cherry blossom over sharp, boozy peach. Slightly fermented fruits are always the most delicious, on my skin there’s nothing rotten about this. Surprised at the bad reviews! Men go nuts for it, but so do I.

  33. :

Very strong and sweet, I like it but it’s nothing I wear often at all. Nothing i’d buy again either, its too sweet.
I like the way it smells only after a few hours when its almost gone.

I got the fragrance mist as a gift and I’m not sure I like it. It smells cheap and synthetic to me.

  36. :

I LOVE this perfume, well I got the body mist, but still, i LOVE this scent!
I tried a lot of perfumes in the VS store before i tried this and instantly fell in love, i felt like i was floating on clouds when i sniffed this ( till i noticed that creepy guy staring at me). I got the mist and the body lotion. It smells refreshing, fruity,super-sweet… everything I love that other grown women make me feel I shouldn’t otherwise I’ll be cast into the dungeon of high-school teenagers … But I’m a grown woman! You have to believe me!!
It’s not surprising a lot of reviews on here hate this or just feel “meh” about it. It might read a little too-sweet or too-peachy for some.
I can definitely get why the boys would go crazy for this, It’s girly. Boys like girls. Its simple. Male humans are very simple beings.
Try this, you might love this. It’s a love spell after all.

  37. :

    5 out of 5

I dislike this fragrance, but not just because it’s “juvenile.” This is a very synthetic smelling peach….like a gummy peach ring doused in chemicals and cat pee. I seriously have NO idea why 2/3 of the men(ages 20-28) I’ve dated go crazy over it. Fantasy or Midnight Fantasy by Britney Spears or pretty much ANY other fragrance by Victoria’s Secret or BBW is better than this nasty crap!

  38. :

My friend bought this for me for my birthday and I feel bad to say this, but I really hate it. It is so so strongly sweet, it’s sickening, though I’m sure I’m just an outlier. It may just be my family, but when I tried it out, my mom and I both got headaches. I found that it smells exactly like the concentrated syrup left in a Dole mixed fruit cup.

  39. :

    4 out of 5

This is bubblegum in a bottle! If you like this type of smell, you will like this. The peach is pretty much the only note I can smell, a very sweet sugary peach that is. Maybe hint of cherry blossom but no trace of Aloe vera (?!??)and barely there Chamomille (well burried undr the general sweet-fruity blast of the peach) Young, cute and girly. Overall it’s pleasant to my nose and I will wear it, even though it is not something I would normally reach for.

  40. :

    4 out of 5

I only have this in the body lotion, not in the body spray/perfume. I started wearing it in high school and now into my early 30s still always have the lotion on hand. It’s really kind of timeless and I still get tons of compliments whenever I wear it. I don’t detect “powdery” at all though it’s noted on the profile. It’s juicy fresh peaches and flowers. I got into more complex fragrances as I got older and able to afford “real” perfume, but still wear this on casual days when in the mood for a sweet comforting smell. It’s simple, fresh and pretty.

  41. :

    4 out of 5

The opening almost shocked me – it smells like rotten prunes on me. I don’t know what it is, but it’s really unpleasant. Within half an hour it settles into something much more wearable, but again messy. I’ll pass.

  42. :

    4 out of 5

Affordable, sweet and youthful perfume. Why does there have to be an age group for perfume? It’s only a smell for crying out loud. This one is just simple and a fresh out of the shower scent. I love to put it on as one of my after shower scents. It’s got cherry blossom and peach aloe vera and chamomille. Smells mostly like peach shampoo and the aloe vera and chamomille give it a bit of a green tea type of scent. Casual, relaxed, sweet and yet strong at the same time. Love it.

  43. :

I regret buying this. I thought I loved it but now I feel ill when I smell it. It smells like rotting peaches.

  44. :

    4 out of 5

This scent smells like something a young girl would wear. It’s the type of fragrance a mother would possibly buy for their daughter as their first perfume. The longevity isn’t great-maybe an hour. The silage is moderate as well.Peach is definitely the main note I smell from first spritz;then as it wears off I can smell cherry blossom, but not that much. It’s not a sexy scent, but it’s a cute scent.I liked it however,I wouldn’t buy it again I don’t think.

  45. :

    4 out of 5

I blind bought this one for my daughter and gave it a go last night, to me its a sharp fruity scent at first blast and drys down to a sticky syrupy scent almost candy like. It smells good don’t get me wrong but it just isn’t for me. If you like crisp fruity scents with a sour background you’ll like love spell, although unfortunately it did not put the hubs underr a spell lol he actually didn’t care for it much. He likes when I wear more dark creamy scents, but it would be a safe buy for the price.

  46. :

    5 out of 5

I have to say, I agree with all the reviews. Men LOVE this scent. My partner will always go nuts for it and says it smells heavenly. If only I felt the same way about it.
Too much of this scent is a massive headache, it literally smells like you poured a litre of vodka over yourself before you went outside. A tiny spray around the neck/torso is enough for 3-5 hours of smell without it becoming over bearing. I feel like I SHOULD repurchase this scent just for peoples reactions of it and how much every one I know enjoys the smell but it’s way too powerful for my liking.

  47. :

    5 out of 5

I like this, men LOVE this. They will ask what you are wearing. It is funny when you say “Love Spell.” Well, depending on who the guy is and how you say it. It is peachy and floral, subtle enough for work. It is a nice fragrance, It is appealing but not overwhelming. I see many people mentioned ti was “high school” but I don’t find it juvenile.

  48. :

    5 out of 5

Honestly, over all my more expensive perfumes, this is the one that guys love. They go nuts for it. They recognize it and remember it by name. Its sexy and classic.

  49. :

    3 out of 5

Nice, but that’s it. It’s only just nice. As well as the notes above I also sense some vanilla. I used up the bottle but I doubt I would ever buy this for myself. It was a gift. I put it in with my like list because I don’t dislike it. They sould have a “Meh” section.

  50. :

If you’ve ever smelled those fizzy sugar coated peach ring gummy candies, thats what this smells like dead on. My sister recieved a bottle from her friend. Don’t care much for it because it doesn’t last

  51. :

    3 out of 5

My friend gave me a travel mist bottle of this that she already used up and had little leftover just for me to test it before buying it. AND I’m so glad I did test it first. (We don’t have VS here, so online or blind buy is the way to go).
When you first spray it, it give a very sharp mandarin-like scent. And then it dries down to a slightly softer mandarin/orange/ smell, but still sharp and spicy. This mist is definitely not sweet, more sour and fruity and may be smells like a strong smelling fruit punch. Another thing it reminds me of is a cleaning product that has a tangy smell. Not exactly chemical-like per se, but definitely at least like one of those fragranced cleaning product.
Overall, I do not like Love Spell at all. No matter how many times I try to convince myself, I can’t see the hype in them.

  52. :

    4 out of 5

I got the body mist of this, since I really liked Secret Charm and Coconut Passion and wanted to try another. But this one is absolutely awful. Smells like rancid blackcurrant, bitter and sweet at the same time. It was nauseating. I couldn’t get it off me fast enough. I have no idea how this is popular.

  53. :

    3 out of 5

A pretty fruity-floral scent. Unlike some of the reviews on this fragrance, I wouldn’t label this as a “strictly high school” fragrance. I’m in my early 30’s and I find a nice spritz from the body spray refreshing and sweet without being overly cloying. I would find this beautiful on anyone from age nine to ninety.

  54. :

    Smells like peach, I guess.

  55. :

It reminds me of an artificial with awfully taste juice I had when I was little. Just awful!

  56. :

It smells really gross! It’s a really weird combination of synthetic peach and sour fruit. It smells rotten. Disgusting.

I used to love this now I just find it annoying 🙁 It’s kinda cute though, like a right of passage.

  58. :

    4 out of 5

Love Spell is always going to remind me of my early teens. Every girl I knew wore this. Unfortunately, it was annoying as it was ubiquitous. After so much exposure it just gives one a headache. There was always something ‘off’ about this one and I feel it is surprising that it’s a number one seller from the VS Body Fantasies line.

I once didn’t like it for real. But as I tried it again and again, it smells amazing! Very fruity in positive ways and give compliments.

I bought this in fragrance mist and lotion. They smell soooo so good! Definitely a summer fragrance though! And very young to. However i love it! Im not sure how long this lasts on its own but when i layer it up with the lotion it stays strong for about 1 and a half hours. Then for another 2 hours its weak(ish) then about another half an hour of really week scent. Saying all this, this is great for a mist, if you want it to last longer buy the EDT

Imagine a tall glass of Archer’s Peach Shnapps, fizzy lemonade, tons of ice and a glacé cherry on top.
    That’s what this smells like!
It’s refreshing, girlie, very young and pretty. I’d probably wear this to work as it’s quite inoffensive too.
A friend from Holland sent me a bottle as a gift, and I have to say, I’m quite happy with it. I don’t know if I’d purchase it when it runs out, but I can imagine this smells lovely in the summer months!
This is my fourth VS body spray, and probably my third favorite after Coconut Passion & Forbidden Vanilla. It’s silage isn’t the greatest, but it’s such a big, generous bottle, I’m sure you could just re-spray! 🙂

This was my signature scent back in high school (11 yrs ago now). Everyone wore this back then. Smells like fizzy fruit punch to me. Would probably never wear this again as it is not my kind of scent anymore but I loved it one upon a time. It’s nostalgic whenever I get a whiff of a teen girl wearing this. 🙂

I purchased it online without any clue how it would smell. But I’m kind of satisfied with it. But my brothers complant that it smells like rotted fruits . Sometimes I do too. But I still wear it.

    Smells like Middle School.
For a long time, I couldn’t handle this. But now, I really like it! It smells a bit alchol-y when first sprayed, but I get a lot of peach with this. Lots and lots of peach with a bit of cherry blossom (I guess.) Not groundbreaking but nice all the same. It’s a good go-to scent for every day. Not great lasting power unless layered with the lotion, but hey, it’s cheap, so who cares? I honestly prefer the scent of the lotion.

    This smells exactly like juice.
I love it so much! It smells like crisp peach.
At first I hated it because I thought it smelled like a cleaning product, but now I love it.

The peach isnt sweet syrupy juicy or nectarous, its more to that crisp fresh peach,i dont like cherry blossom in fragrances because it sometimes has that bitter herbal medicine kind of smell to it,but this smells good, you still get the bitterness but its not so overpowering, definitely a fresh spring fragrance, its also not so sweet so anyone can pull it off,i think it’s ok but theres nothing special, but the color is amazing and it looks pretty

Okay this is odd. I know Love Spell is like THE best selling VS Fantasies now but I tried it today and OMG it’s not at all good to my nose. People said that it smells like bubble gum? But I got this blast of utterly sour note like something inside went bad. Apologies, but a definite no no. Perhaps if I walked pass another VS store I’ll have another test, who knows then it will be different.

On my skin this starts to smell like black currant leaves, and I love that smell. Even though it’s not on the notes. I can smell the peach slightly. I don’t See the resemblance to Pure seduction. Pure seduction is far more Sweeter And fresher. Or is it just me? Anyway I like both very much. Maybe this even more.

I tend to use this sparingly as it kind of gives me a headache and clogged sinuses when used otherwise.

A very sweet body spray that smells of peaches, soap, and sticky candy. It is one body spray that does last. My daughter and all her friends wore this in high school and she smelled fresh and pretty, so I, too, connect it with young girls–but I don’t hate it. I will spray it on after a bath, and think about my little girl that is now a woman 🙂

I fully admit without shame that I am almost 32 years old, and I love love spell! I have worn it off and on since I was about 20. It’s a very nostalgic scent for me… brings back both wonderful and (unfortunately) not so wonderful memories… but that’s ok. I still love it and I always will!

This was a blind buy together with VS Pure Seducation. Love Spell smelled awfull on my skin, I was litarally repulsed by the smell. Luckily I was able to return in to the store.

First Victoria’s Secret scent I ever owned and I ran out of it after about a month. The fruity scents are amazing and it is a definite summer must have.

I bought this blindly based on the notes and reviews, and I am disappointed. It smells cheap and nothing like peach or cherry blossom.
Too bad, I love VS’ Secret Charm and thought this would be equally good.
