The proof of eternal love is composed of star annis, lemon and black currant leaf in top notes, leaving a feeling of juicy kisses. I received it yesterday, it was a blind buy.
It is one of 10 perfumes I bought this month and It was very cheap so I wasn’t expecting much.
It’s a very unique sweet floral blend that keeps turning until it settles into sweet and powdery (not dry). It is not the candy-sweet type so it doesn’t smell childish.
I usually can not stand florals but this one is more on the sweet side, it’s quite deep, sophisticated and long lasting.
I love the box and the bottle. I’m ordering two more to keep, I don’t think the 60 ml bottle will last long with me. Love!

Wearing this while it’s 99F degrees out really enhance what a beauty Love Never Dies is.
Wet on the skin you get bold, lush, bright Lily-violet-rose floral and then fruity(ice lemon). It’s crisp without being too clean. Tender floral yet not shy or weak. First 15 minutes of wearing evokes the emotion of being in love…
During dry down the notes continue to shine. The bold, lush, juicy floral fruit is now tamed with silky smooth, slight opulent powdery vanilla to comfort.
Unique, light heart, graceful, for someone who likes bright, floral/fruity/chypre Love never dies is calling out to you/1
    Love the bottle design.
    Projection: mid range
    Longevity: about 3 hours

My favorite name for a perfume. That’s all I wanted to say. On the name alone, I will blind buy a few from this line.

Powdery without feeling dry, this is an uplifting, soft floral. Perfect for summer day-wear. It has good projection but could not offend anyone.
As it dries down, it does move out of the powdery phase and develops more of the amber and sandalwood notes.
As with most Arthes fragrances, they are so well blended and fairly linear I cannot discern the notes too well. That’s OK! I don’t always need to be challenged, especially for office-wear.
Packaging and bottle are gorgeous and high-quality.

This smells really good. I have been wearing it off and on over the weekend. I do agree with the reviewer that this smells a bit like Elizabeth Taylor’s Violet Eyes. This has more citrus than peach though. Violet Eyes has a lot of peach. The citrus blast isn’t too heavy and then it turns into mostly grapes and cassis black currant purple grapes. Love that though. The flowers are soft and lovely mainly violets and rose. The sandalwood amber and vanilla are my favorite in base notes. Seriously there is nothing and I mean nothing better smelling than amber sandalwood and vanilla in the base of a fragrance. Ultimately this smells feminine, sweet, romantic, elegant and expensive. Jeanne Arthes frags are notorious for being affordable but the scents belong in other more expensive fragrance lines. Some say that all Arthes is doing is making dupes but I disagree. This is really more powdery than Violet Eyes and really a lot rosier. This has a light Eau de Toilette vibe however and does not last as long as I’d like it to. Love Never Dies but this fragrance dies after about 2 hours. If anyone knows about a Jeanne Arthes scent I can wear all day long let me know.

Jeanne Arthes fragrances rarely disappoint and this is another I am totally enamoured with.
This is just a light, lovely, feminine concoction of Roses, Violets and Lilies, slightly sweetened with Vanilla.
Beneath it all a gentle base of Amber and Sandalwood.
This would definitely have to be one of my favourites.
Crazy about the bottle, the charms, the colour of the juice, the price, the quality and of course the fragrance.

I picked this up online for under ten dollars and it’s worth a lot more. It smells similar in style to Elizabeth Taylor’s Violet Eyes, which I absolutely adore; the presentation, box and bottle of this fragrance would be very attractive to a younger age group, whereas Violet Eyes has the silly stigma of being made by an “old lady.”

I really do like this one quite a bit. I used up one bottle, lost another one half full, so I am on my third bottle right now. It looks very unassuming, and it is inexpensive, but my God it packs a punch. It does resemble Hypnotic Poison at its heart, but it is NOT a dupe. It is definitely a perfume of its own, with its own character. Sometimes I even find that I prefer it, depending on my mood. It lasts long, but I don’t really know how it projects. No one seems to comment on my perfumes much. I have been known to love a scent and get bored of it without finishing the bottle (I’ve actually repurchased some bottles only to find out that I did not want the scent that much anymore), but so far I seem to be sticking with this one, even though it was the only perfume I had for a while a couple of years back.

Wow, strong stuff! Great lasting ability. Good on it’s own or for layering. Seems appropriate for any age as long as the person love flowers! I don’t find it sweet tho, not really a strong sweetness to it more of a fresh clean flower powder base that should last for hours. Right along w the JS I Fancy U or PH Tease or Pleasures or Marc Jacobs, in that realm, floral n fresh. Good stuff esp for the budget wise! Cute bottle!

I just received my ‘Love Never Dies’ and everything about it great! The price was great. I love the box it came in, the bottle, and everything about it! It’s a purple metallic box with a diamond and a heart cut out with a keyhole so you could see the pretty chain and jewel of the bottle through the keyhole! VERY cute! It’s a lot like the ‘Wish’ by Chopard bottle. It’s sweet but not a sugar-y sweet. It’s more of a powdery sweet with floral and spice, with the vanilla being the 3rd note in it, not the main note. In my opinion, the main notes are the star anise and the violet. It may smell young-girlish the first 5 minutes until it settles but this is a very grown up and sexy fragrance! I love it and will wear it out on weekends for sure!!!

Quite a few of the Jeanne Arthes line of fragrances including this one have been impressive for a miniscule amount of money.
With LOVE NEVER DIES, I get the vanilla but contradictory to previous reviews, I do not find it exceedingly sweet. There is a beautiful assimilation of the sweetness of the vanilla, pretty floral and fruit notes with the addition of wood and amber imparting a much needed depth to this fragrance. A luscious scent lingers on the skin after a few minutes, soft like fresh powder but holding on to its sumptuous characteristics. A much appreciated perk is that the scent has not faded yet hours and hours after the initial spray. Pretty amazing!

I love it! My sis bought it for me for my birthday this year and I’ve almost used it all up already! I love it THAT much. 😀

I love the mixture of fruits and the warm, powdery vanilla base. It reminds me of the usual Hypnotic Poison but with a special juicy-extra in it. Also bought in Germany 2009 but never seen it again. Shame.
Update: it IS available in German drugstores again 🙂

Well, it is perfect for teenagers, a sweet scent of berries, purple flowers and white flowers.
I have no idea about the differeces of top, middle and base notes because I smell the same from the morning till the evening.
The lasting power is quite good, the price is nice and the design of the bottle is stunning.
